Pathetic Stay

I was on business Trip to Doha. Booked this hotel on someone's reference. Bu the stay was totally Pathetic. Beds were not good. I had whole 6 day bodyache due to uneven beds. No illumination in room. No Air ventalitation.Whole room was full of moisture. I had added Breakfast in my booking. The breakfast was totally worst.
Overall will not recommend to anyone in furure.

We pre-paid for 2 rooms, but when we went to check-in the person at the front desk said only one had been paid for, but that we could pay for the other room. It was only when we showed the receipt that they let us check-in to the second room.

Friendly Staff Hotel

The hotel has need-to-help welcomming staff and it is in busy area of labors. There is a mosque next door and and few minutes away from many good store to buy gifts of gold and clothes.

Our Stay at La Villa Palace

The hotel was great, but the window was making noise during the wind throughout the night. We could also sense the dust from outside.

The room carpet had unsightly mark stain.

The staff were great and helpful and the food was acceptable

Worst experience ever.

I booked this hotel and called three days in advance asking that I will check in late and if it was fine. I was told yes it is fine to check in late. However they charged me a \"no show\" fee during check in day.

I arrived at midnight. The area is very old, poor, and looks very dangerous. I didn't feel safe being in such an area even though I am a male adult from another middle eastern country.There was literally no parking space available. Not even on the street. At this point, I call the hotel asking where to park and they inform me that hotel is fully occupied!

Then, they give me an upgrade to LaVilla Inn hotel. Note that this is supposed to be an \"upgrade\" in compensation for my confirmed booking at LaVilla Palace. I arrive at LaVilla Inn and the quality was very bad. Bad smell, very old rooms, and I saw small bugs at the bathroom. I immediately leave at this point. There was no way of me staying at such a place even if it was for free.

I found another cheaper hotel with better quality.

Absolute Filth and Dirt in the Room, very dark and depressing interiors, and furnishing are very dated!

I cancelled my stay within 30 mins after taking photo evidence and I got all my money back.

Dirty, impossible. It should be closed!

Incredibly dirty! The carpets were so dirty that the spots could be confused with some kind of drawings. There were no towels at one point because \"the hotel was full\". This hotel should be closed for hygienic reasons. One day we returned to the room at 4 PM and the room had not been done yet. Every time we asked for something regular (i.e. towel, room readiness) we needed to insist to get them. Please, exclude this hotel from the list.

Big disappointment

We had a 12 hour layover in Doha, and thought we’d spend the night at a hotel in town, rather than sit in the airport waiting lounge.

The hotel said they would have somebody there to meet us—no show. We had somebody call, and a driver did finally show up a few minutes later.
The hotel faces an alley, which did not have a very good feel when we arrived after dark.
The gentleman at the reception desk was not welcoming. We handed him our confirmation printout and he looked at it in disbelief. He wouldn’t give us a room until he called somebody first. We sat for 30 minutes until he finally gave us a room.
The hotel is shabby. The elevator had broken trim. The hallway was poorly lit with stains on the carpet. Our room had but one towel for the two of us.
When we checked out in the morning, we asked about transportation back to the airport, the clerk made it seem like it was a hardship for him to arrange.

We had a reservation to stay again at this hotel on our return trip. We cancelled it. It was much nicer staying at the airport.

The staff is what makes this hotel...

This hotel was probably a high quality three star hotel in its early days. The lack of maintenance is visible in just about every facet (e.g. In the two rooms I stayed in, light globes missing and some power points not working, and in one room part of the door frame fell out, and carpet stains visible). That said, the hotel gets a favorable rating from me because of one factor -- the staff, especially Joan the Receptionist who was super helpful. They did deliver on a 'non-smoking' room. The free WiFi is a bit 'hit & miss' as other guests also found; best chance in remaining in the foyer/lounge area. To avoid paying more than necessary in taxi fares, get the hotel to arrange transport as they keep a list of trusted private taxi drivers. Hotel is located within 20 minutes of several main attractions. Overall - recommend this hotel for budget based travelers.

A diamond in the rough

This hotel is perfect for Business travelers. I was here only for one day for business. The service was really a 6 out of 5. Good internet speed and a good breakfast.
They also had fast money exchange in the hotel.
The hotel staff were beyond helpful and professional.
The room only gets low marks because of maintenance. The coffee maker did not have a safety switch, which meant that in 5 minutes the entire room was filled with vapor and I burned my hand trying to shut it off. The closet door was off its hinges, and the bathroom was in a desperate need of a remodel. However the room itself was well decorated, and it was one of the most comfortable beds I have slept in YEARS. !
For me this hotel was a big win. Also it was close to the souk which is the happening place in town during the night.

The services are very limited, staff is trying their best but they do not have the tools, rooms need mainenance
if you are stying for 2-3 days only the fisrst day you can have complimentary water and coffee, i need a mobile phone charger - not available, asked for a taxi- as advetrized 24 hours taxi service available, I was called private car(taxi) and the charges were 300% higher than th normal taxi

when i checked in they gave me the wrong room so and i had to wait an hour to get the right room. when i got the right room, the in room safe didn't work. they sent a tech up to fix it, he said he would go and get the master key, but didn't show for 2 hours, i had to call the reception 3 times and was left waiting for them. they couldn't fix it and they said maintenaince would come the next morning and fix it, they didn't and they came later in the afternoon, and they didn't fix it they just put another one there, which was not bolted down, and that also didn't end up working. i had to carry around my passport and valuables around while i was there. the location is not good at all. it is close to the souq's but thats abt it.

Close to the airport and quite. Without taxi its hard to reach anything, but museum of islamic art and Doha city center shopping mall and harbour is close by. For my short stay it was a good choice.

Decent for price. Not too convenient location.

Decent Hotel. Location is not too convenient and even the taxis can't find it.
It was difficult to get a taxi from the hotel.
Rooms are decent and reasonable. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Internet was fast.
No real services / food / bar / shops / pool etc... But comfortable bed and clean bathroom.

Wir haben das Hotel direkt wieder verlassen. Das Zimmer war weder das gebuchte de luxe noch ein standart. Ein ( mitgebuchtes) Frühstücksbuffet gab es nicht mehr da das Restaurant geschlossen wurde.Das Hotel wurde inzwischen auch von der Kategorie heruntergestuft. Da nutzte auch freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal nichts. Die Expedia Hotline hat uns hervorragend weitergeholfen so dass der Hotelaufenthalt sofort nach dem einchecken storniert wurde und wir direkt unser Geld zurückbekamen . Wir haben dann innerhalb einer Stunde ein Hotel gefunden bei dem dann auch alles stimmte.
