Loved our stay at Embassy Suites - room was very clean and I liked having a separate living/lounge area. Our room overlooked the sports stadium and on two nights I was able to watch amateur football game from the hotel room, but you can also walk in and watch the games. The breakfast was great - the best thing about it was the fresh egg station and the fact there wasn't a massive selection of foods (which I found at my previous hotel which left me overwhelmed every day). Breakfast can get busy after 9:30am, and on one occasion we found it tricky to get a table but others days it was absolutely fine. On the whole I would highly recommend the hotel - location is also really good as it's walking distance to Old Town, Meshreib and the national museum.

The pool is on the smaller side but the hotel itself isn't massive so I don't imagine it getting too busy, although we didn't use it as we went in early Jan and it was too cold to swim. I was surprised there was a life guard given the size of the pool.

Gym is also a really good size, with a separate gym for ladies and gents.

Wir hatten hier einen sehr schöne Aufenthalt. Das Personal war sehr nett und insgesamt fühlten wir uns sehr wohl. Einzige Kritikpunkte: Room Service hat nicht wirklich sauber gemacht, den Teppich nicht gesaugt (obwohl dreckig) und Mülltüten nicht mitgenommen. Auch das Frühstücksbuffet ab Tag 3 war ziemlich langweilig. Immer nur das selbe. Die Öffnungszeiten des Cafés unten im Erdgeschoss stimmten auch nicht. Nie war jemand dort und angeblich hätte es bis 6pm auf (steht auf dem Plakat genau davor) & Rezeption teilte aber mit das es um 4pm zu macht. Gefühlt hatte es nie auf…

It’s a lovely hotel in a good location for what we wanted. Can easily walk to Souq Waqif, Museum of Islamic and the Qatar National Museum. Staff were nice, Omar, Morris and Mohammed the pool guy were all friendly and helpful. The only gripe was the loud guest in the adjoining room 1210 that kept us awake.
Otherwise it’s a lovely hotel and one I’d go back to but will steer clear of connecting rooms as we could hear the loud noise emanating from the connecting room. Overall it’s recommended

Can’t sleep : you can hear EVERYTHING that’s going on in the hallways, in the rooms next to you and outside. So, so, loud ! The lights in our room were hardly working (flickering), we had a problem with the shower as well… Always the same choices at the breakfast buffet for 10 days, not a single change.

The staff is very nice and the pool is beautiful. The view from the hotel is absolutely amazing and the hotel is situated right next to the Souq, the Corniche, the Museum, etc. which is very nice as well.

Unfortunately, the little problems that we had overall during our whole stay made us rethink our choice of hotel. We will not be going back as the hotel is way too loud and you can hear everything.

The Embassy Sweet made my stay in Doha, incredible. The staff was accommodating and kind. .
Everything was accessible by walk, such as Souk Wakif, restaurants, takeouts and little supérettes in case of a late snack. The HiltonEmbassy Suite is in a safe area, but yet the entire Qatar is safe with its amazing hard working people. As Arnold Schwarzenegger would that “I’ll be back.”

We arrived very very late but they were waiting for us at check in and were quick, helpful and very friendly
Clock in the room does not work. Lights on vanity mirror and lights on large bathroom mirror do not work.
Balcony glass should be cleaned properly as much of debris there is from construction of bldg. Disappointing when trying to see the city skyline through splatters on glass and stickers.

Great room! Living room, 2 bathrooms, and a big king bed in the king suite. They gave us 4 complimentary bottles of water as well! The breakfast is open 630 to 1030 and has tons of options changing every day. Close walking distance to the must see Souk Waqif! Nothing to complain about truly.

Very good value for the money spent. We booked two rooms for one night, just a flight transfer in Doha. The rooms were perfect with comfortable beds and plenty of space. really enjoyable. The only very small small disadvantage is the kind of remote area. That being said, you are at 15 minutes walk from the old city and plenty of cheap Uber taxis. For us, totally recommendable !

The hotel was good and nicely located. However, many things in our room were broken and we had to keep on calling the service desk to come and repair. As an example, one of the wardrobe doors was broken and we could not really use the space. Also, we were given a connected room to another room where we could hear everything, including children screaming every morning.

Located in a quiet area but close to the landmarks and attractions - 5 mins drive. The staff was fantastic and the hotel was beautifully decorated with modern amenities. We loved the suite - high ceilings, nicely furnished and the shower, amazing!!!! Highly recommend the hotel for your next stay. I only stayed one night during a long layover in Doha.

Highly recommend!!

I would highly recommend this hotel. Great location in the Old Doha. 16 minute walk to the Doha National Museum and 15 minutes drive to airport. We arrived early and they got us into room above 11am instead of 2pm. The bed and pillows were super. Buffet breakfast was very good plus they have snacks and beverages at 5pm.

A really nice hotel a few minutes walk from Souq Waqif. The hotel has a lovely swimming pool on the room with great views across the corniche to the Doha downtown skyline. I arrived at 1am and received a very friendly and efficient welcome, same when I left at 5.30am. The breakfast is superb, a really nice mix of fresh fruit, bakery, cooked foods. All the staff were super friendly from the reception, breakfast, valet and cleaning.

The room was a double bedroom with a nice bathroom, plus a separate lounge area, both rooms had a TV, plus a seperate toilet in addition to the one in the bathroom. The room was very well appointed, nice modern fittings, everytime I thought 'I need to plug in my phone etc' where I was looking there was a plug, each side of the double bed had electrical sockets and USB sockets - high standard of fittings in the room. I'm a very frequent traveller and I couldn't find an improvement to suggest for this hotel.

I would like to thank the reception staff. Lama and a male individual (From Morocco) who i cant remember there name of unfortunately has giving an excellent welcoming and service. The restaurant staff also had provided an excellent service and accommodating us with our needs. Thanks to our omelette chef for making sure our food was always on point.

For all the rave reviews, I was honestly expecting better. While I was SUPER thankful they had a room ready for me to check into at 7:30am, and the checkout time is late, the quality just wasn’t there for me. There was no shampoo in the container in the shower, the toilet water ran constantly, I didn’t love walking the neighborhood as a solo female traveler, and the AC never adjusted to what I set it to (stayed way too cold). The price was great, and it was walking distance to the Souq Waqif, but I don’t think I’d stay here again.

Excellent location, great service. Stayed almost a week. Nice size room, with a desk and a sofa + extra seating which was very useful for a couple of days when we stayed in because of heat during the day. Very close to metro, and a short walk to a few very interesting parts of Doha (Souq Wakif, Islamic cultural centre, Falcon Souq, Blue mosque; a lot to see and do). Amazing service (friendly, polite and prompt), from reception, breakfast, pool, to room service staff. Breakfast is great and versatile, but not many options for those with food allergies/intolerancies. Qatar overall is not great for GF, but you can find GF products in Carefour supermarket in City Shopping Centre. I am a celiac and needed gluten free food. Breakfast staff were very understanding and made eggs for me every morning. They did not use a separate frying pan or cutlery so make sure you tell them if you react badly. I don't react badly (yet), so I was OK with that. They did have GF bread which they warmed up for me every morning. I was very grateful as staff in most restaurants had no idea what I was talking about when I mentioned GF. Shame the pool closed early (around 8 p.m.) as we would have loved the option to go swimming later in the evening. It meant a lot to us that the hotel offered us complimentary late checkout (until 4 p.m.), as we had a night flight back to Sydney. Thank you. Overall, we would gladly go back to the same hotel if we stayed in Doha again.

A very good hotel. 15 min taxi ride from the airport, walking distance to Souq Waqif metro station.

The decor is modern and comfortable, although there was some wear and tear.

The breakfast restaurant has enough local and international options, plus fruits and salad. The variety is not huge but sufficient.

The gym is separated into male and female rooms. The male gym is huge but the female gym is small with limited equipment.

Lovely comfortable bed. Great walk in shower. Breakfast included. Not a massive selection but always tasty.
We only went to the complimentary food and drinks once between 5pm and 6pm. Hummus and bread, sandwiches and fruit. This is a dry hotel so no alcohol.
Great location. Would definitely stay again. Special mention to Youness who seemed to work 24/7 and was very helpful

The pool area is beautiful but they allow smoking which ruins the atmosphere.

Breakfast option is good, but the same thing daily.

The location is great, taxi is cheap everywhere from this hotel, including the airport.

Everyday on our stay there was an issue - first day we ordered some food from the \"all day dining\" restaurant and it took over an hour to get food when we were the only people there.

Our room was not serviced, we had to call reception twice then go down physically to ask for it to be serviced (this was at 5.30pm). The staff were not apologetic at all.

With the amount of people staying at the hotel there was not not enough breakfast at all - the variety was minimal and the food area was dirty and messy.

A Wonderful Pla e to Stay in Doha's Old Town

This was the perfect place to stay in Doha, within walking distance of the major sights, including Souq Waqif, the Museum of Islamic Art, and the National Museum of Qatar. There's also a Metro stop nearby ro take you ro most other places in the city you might want to go. Service was exceptional, especially from Anch and Insam. An included buffet breakfast was very good. I highly recommend it.
