A quick taxi ride from the airport to the hotel and about a minute checking in.

I had quite a huge room that had all the requirements i needed such as fridge, kettle, iron. Plus they leave a couple of bottles of water which i used for tea and rinsing my teeth. The bed is comfy. House keeping is hit n miss - basically just do the bed, maybe empty the trash as i leave the room tidy before heading out.

I say the best thing is that the hotel is fairly centre, 5 minutes walk from thr national museum of Qqatar and 15 mjns from thr metro. I had the luxury of being able to head back to the hotel on a couple of days as i was tired. I made use of the pool and jacuzzi which was refreshing after being in the heat. Its a shame that there wasn't much of a garden/green space- where you could see the sun. But i appreciate that there was some outdoor space.

Room was far below the expected standard. There were bugs and flys in the room and carpet. Carpet stains everwhere, walls with dirty marks. There was also disruptive noise throughout the stay - like construction work.

The room was nice , but the shower and bathroom water switched from warm to scalding hot, then cold, and back and forth. I reported it to the front desk four times and they said they sent maintenance up each time. Never was fixed. The only reason I gave you 3 stars, is the rest of the stay was fine, courteous staff, I would ask for a refund or compensation, but that will never happen. I will not stay in one of your hotels again, nor will I recommend them to others.

Had a good stay here with the family. Hotel feels a bit dated but nonetheless facilities are good and buffet meals were great. Great deal we found last minute!

Good points:
- Buffet meals
- Heated pool
- Friendly staff
- Kids play room
- Spacious rooms and comfy beds

Bad points:
- Staff aren't too knowledgable on recommendations for children's activities in Doha. Need a concierge.
- Pool area has bird poo scattered around as there seems to be a lot of pigeons flying about and even though deterrents have been put it place, doesn't seem to keep them away

The room was terrible i have never been to a 4star hotel soooo poor quality of rooms so old with mushy smell.... I have had a trpple heart bypass.... So cleaness and dust free is very important for me that was not at this hotel.... They showed me 4 different rooms the nextday all the same..... The staff was doing thete best..... But the hotel is outdated.... Plz take it out of ur listing.... I shud not have went with Expedia com.... All the reviews are not true at all.... I hope u will do something about this...

Didnt even stay at the hotel. Waited for over 30 min and reception didnt acknowledge us. Asked for assistance and no one even looked at us. Ended up leaving to a different hotel. And stil got charged for movenpick. Terrible service. Expedia couldnt even get a hold of the hotel even though they tried several times a day for a couple of days.

We upgraded to a business suite on the basis that it would give us a sea view and city view, however we were allocated a view of the next door hotel. Upon complaing we were moved to another room, which had a much better view. In addition the upgrade offered complimentary airport transfer, but when approached the hotel they firstly declined stating that it was not offered but subsequently agreed to our request out of courtesy. In addition the room upgrade is only decided upon check-in so complimentary airport transfer service to the hotel would not be available. The hotel needs to sort this out with the platforms selling their rooms.
Breakfast was standard, not much variety. Only one small toaster and one self-serve coffee machine - queues!!
Very unlikely i would be staying there again.

I stayed at Mövenpick in October for 13 days and I have had a comfortable, quiet and pleasant experience with the staff , security at front entrance shout out to Paul and the rest of security guards thanks for your service, the season restaurant staff all of them were very nice, friendly and helpful .

Overall the hotel is close to metro station and many sight seeing places , the beautiful Doha corniche and Souq waqif with its nightlife vibes .

An excellent option for any length of stay in Doha.
The staff are excellent; from reception, to security, to restaurant, to the Manager. All very friendly & helpful, always happy & smiling. Restaurant food is delicious, although could be a few more vegetarian options. Theme nights are currently Tues & Thursdays seafood, Fri - BBQ, Weds - Mediterranean. Buffet option for breakfast.
Rooms are large with very comfortable beds. It’s not the most modern but it’s super clean & housekeeping do an excellent job.
It’s a fantastic location - walkable to the Metro & Museum. Uber is super cheap & quick.

The staff was by far the best thing about this hotel. The rooms were spacious, however they are in need of some updating as my room had worn out furniture and stained carpets. However, other than the age of the room, it was clean. The bathroom could also use some updating as well. I chose the location because it was close to the airport, the area doesn’t have a lot going on and would probably want to be more centrally located if your going to be sightseeing.

Location was excellent. We got ubers everywhere as they're very cheap. Most places were 5-15 mins away. But even the pearl, was around 30 mins away and uber was £6-7. Service was excellant and rooms were very nice. Like everything, you have to compare what you pay for what you get. For the price, theres nothing here i can fault. Im a very experienced traveller. This hotel meets my expectations.

The hotel is quite old and requires some refurbishment. The drain in our bathroom tub was jammed and we had to change room. But the new room also had a similar issue which was temporarily repaired. The shower glass is too small resulting in the water from the shower being splashed everywhere. The staff is courteous and helpful.

Hotel was clean and welcoming, the room was also clean and very spacious. The breakfast was great, variety to chose from and service was friendly. Swimming pool was small but was ok for a 5 day trip. The bar was good to watch the football and happy hour was 5pm-8pm. We also checked out early meaning our breakfast was in containers at reception waiting for us . Overall 10/10 for our family.

My first time visiting Qatar with my fiancé. Our stay at the hotel was amazing and the staff were very friendly and made you feel welcomed. The service was impeccable and the hotel was clean and smelled wonderful with their native incense. The breakfast and supper buffet were so tasty with their cultural foods and the atmosphere was one were you take your time and enjoy the food prepared for you it was an amazing stay and we were sad we had to leave. We recommend this hotel to any travelers looking to go to Doha

Terrible service. I strongly don’t recommend for anyone. From the check-in we had to wait almost 2 hours in the lobby waiting for them to clean the room.
Every time I try calling the room service, the line get transferred to reception, the receptionist says he/she will call room service to tell them to call back, this process takes at least 30 mins before they do the call back. Example: I wanted to add some salt and pepper I make the call it gets transferred wait for them to call, I finished eating by then.

After several months of travel, how lovely to walk into the Movenpick- it welcoming lobby and staff, beautiful carpets, a room with a deep tub, and super fast room service. The bed was amazing and the area is quiet-- I slept for ten hours.
