Great place to explore Nimes and surrounding areas

Very handy location for train station and the walk up to the arena, Roman museum etc. Air con worked well. Helpful on front desk. Map pin is not in quiet the right place and the entrance to the hotel is not easy to spot. Doorway is on raised walkway 3 doors to the left of a very hand City Carrefore minimart. Room was quiet. Good price. Both the central bus station and the railway station are on the doorstep. Bus to Arles 2 euro!

One minute walk to train station and bus station. And a small supermarket next door. They had a free water cooler so you could fill up water bottles. Had a little kitchette and balcony with chair and tables. By far the best place we stayed during our 2 week holiday in France. I would highly recommend this hotel.

This was a one night stay to catch train next morning. This is the hardest bed you will ever sleep on, or not sleep on. Check out was 11am and we were thrown out by the cleaner at 10.45am. Location is great for local sites, has a food market right down stairs. Seems to be lots of long term residents who weren’t that quiet. Means to an end really

worst maintained room

This is the worst maintained hotel room I have ever stayed. The air conditioner in both living room and bedroom can not be turned on at all. There is big gap between the window frame and the wall. The whole window is hanging wobbly. It is not even safe. The front desk stops service at 9pm. So after we checked in and found out the problems, we can not find anybody to report. It is hot summer night. we have to stayed the whole night without air conditioner. And the big gap of the window can not be closed. The room faces to a busy street. The noise is so loud. On top of that, there were so many mosquitos. we all got bitten quite a bit. All our family barely get any sleep in the hot noisy room.

Excellent location for a quick basic stay in Nimes. Directly in front of the train station when we arrived and within 5-10 minute walking distance to the amphitheatre and maison caree etc. Bus stop to the airport is also directly in front of the hotel. Overall a good stay if you are looking for something basic for good value and in a good location, property is clean.

It's good to have facilities to cook in your room.
But the first floor room we stayed in was at the level of a roof, and there was very loud noise from excess rain hammering onto what sounded like tin. the hammering sound continued for most of the night. We were in room 110, it must be near some faulty guttering or downpipe.

Had a great few days in Nimes to celebrate my sisters birthday. There was a great choice of restaurants. The hotel was well placed in the bus station to venture further afield which we did. The staff at Zenitude were pleasant and very helpful. A very enjoyable cultural break.

Old is fine, but clean is necessary

Good first, close to the old city, had a kitchen, and a market just below. Front desk people were nice. However, it smelled like orange-musk air freshener with 1990's era sofa and carpet, which felt unclean and made you uncomfortable in your gut. There was no safe for valuables in the room or in office.

Close to the railway station. Easy to find. Very close to the Roman Colosseum and Roman temple. The lobby was average. The room was dirty. It looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in quite some time. A lot of dust along the base boards. Cleaning staff needs more training. The hotel shows a lot of wear and tear in the hallways and the rooms. Could use some paint. That being said, I didn't pay a lot for the room. Staff was very nice.

During our stay there was few things that could be improved. Staff is welcoming and friendly however it doesn't seem that they know much around the are and public transport. Only one large towel in the room, for 2 guests. Breakfast could be more various.

The beds weren't the most comfortable, there is an trash area on the ground floor that had an unbearable stench and the free WiFi was so slow that my sister and I both decided it was worth it to pay to use our own plans. Additionally, the A/C wasn't very powerful and it took virtually a full day before the room cooled down (meaning we both had difficulty sleeping the first night). On the upside, the location was great! Despite being near the train station, it didn't feel dodgy to us and directly on the other side of the station is a lovely park/walking area that was full of locals in the evening who were out for a walk or playing with their kids. It was also easy walking distance from the arena, temple and gardens (~15 min or less to them all).

Reasonable for the price

Centrally situated hotel right next to the bus and train station. Staff are very helpful and friendly.
Our apartment was quite basic, with only just enough kitchen utensils. In fact only one mug was available in our room, but the hotel provided a second one no problem. The air conditioning was very much appreciated as it was 37C the day we arrived.
Wifi worked well.
Our room smelled slightly of cigarette smoke, which is a bit strange since the hotel's no-smoking policy has been in force since 2008.
Good transport links right outside the hotel. The \"Edgard\" bus line in particular offers exceptional prices for travel to nearby towns and sights. For example the C30 bus to Arles costs only 1.50 Euros.

Hotel is close to train and old Nimes which is fantastic and it was quiet which was unexpected. The room was clean, housekeeping did a great job but the room was ugly and furniture was old and tired. We needed the hide-a-bed as we are four and it was in bad shape. Would recommend to the management to upgrade furniture, this place could be a lot better.

Hotel was ok but the receptionist- girl - was really not accommodationg and actually, quite rude. Check in was for 2pm , I came in at around 2.15pm, my room was not ready and I was told to come back at 3pm. It was rainign outside and I was cold/tired, so, definitely not great. Besides, she was really rude about it. When I came back at 3pm, the room was still not ready- she called the cleaner and was talking about me in French in front of me!! Making faces & noises and all. I felt awful and if I have not paid already, would have left.

It took a long time to check in; refusing various loyalty cards and raffle draws. We just wanted to get to our room. When we did, it hadn't been cleaned from the last guests. Back to reception (which takes time as only one lift) and they were very apologetic and \"upgraded\" us to a one bedroomed apartment room. The wifi code however seemed to be linked to the first room and when we tried to use it, it didn't work and reception had closed by that point which was frustrating. The room itself was ok. Very basic and a little tired but quiet. We only stayed for one night to be close for an early flight from the airport but I don't think I'd recommend it for any longer. It's convenient for the station and airport shuttle bus. We much preferred nearby Arles to Nimes as a base.

My husband and I stayed for $ nights in early October 2014. Location is great - right next to the Train and Bus station and only a short walk to the Arena and historical areas.

We had a Studio apartment - the kitchen area was small with little work surface, so I can imagine if you were using the place for more than a quick breakfast it would be difficult, but suited our needs just fine.

The reception staff were incredibly helpful throughout our stay

Arriving at 8.40 pm, we found the entrance locked and entry appeared to be only by press button key pad. Luckily we got in with a guest who was returning to his room. The receptionist was inside and she gave us our key as she left to go home. This was our only adverse experience. There were 2 other receptionists who were always most helpful.
The apartment was very clean and very well equipped.
This arrangement meant that you could easily cook for yourself if you wished. (I believe some people were actually living long term in the hotel !)
The hotel is very convenient for the railway station and local buses which we used a lot during our week's stay and apart from the odd goods train passing through not too noisy.
(Ask for a room at the back of the hotel.)
Super café for breakfast next door and Carrefour Local supermarket next to that.
We look forward to our next stay in an Adagio Access hotel.

The hotel is behind the train station, on quiet street, near supermarket and short walk to resyaurants. Buses and trains within easy access. The hotel was neat and tidy, the room had plenty of space, kitchenett which was handy also, bathroom small but adequate. The staff are wonderful, both ladies on duty speak english, very well presented and nothing is a problem for them. There is also a laundry that guests can use, washer and dryer juxt need washing powder. Nimes is a wonderful place to explore, highly recommend a look around the arena and take the tourist tram around the town to get your bearings. Would stay again in this hotel,

It was super easy to find just outside the train station. Wonderful having a kitchen so you can make something from the beautiful produce found at the market. The lovely centre of Nimes and attractions are also very close by just go through the train station. Would stay again.

Being next to the lift however was a little noisy as I could hear the bell from it when ever I was used.

Very convenient next to the train station. Parking in a parking garage adjacent for 8€ - very accessible but only via stairs. (The railway parking has a lift but is 15€). Rooms well equipped but a little small and dark carpet makes it appear small. No toiletries and we take out our rubbish. Good value for one night stopover.

Excellent Location for Rail and Bus Travel

We paid extra for having a separate bedroom and I think this is essential if you require a long stay. The apartment was showing signs of wear and tear and needed a good clean, which was demanded and took place. This aparthotel needs a better manager to check on standards. Having said this, we enjoyed our stay and thought it was worth what we paid. It is very handy for taking trains and buses and within easy walking distance of Nimes attractions. The Paul patisserie in the station has good quality goods and the Carrefour supermarket is extremely close. Take the train to the coast for 1 euro...but make sure the timetable is correct for return. Buses are amazing value at 1.5 euros a trip. Go to Avignon, Arles, Pont du Gard etc.

The negative about this place is the customer support.

The desk closes early, and you have to know how to navigate the system to be able to check in/ get in. I've seen this before in Europe, but never in a hotel this large. It is a reasonable value if it works, but there are some ways that it could all go wrong.

No problem if you will be arriving during basic business hours.

WOW if you pay for the upgraded rooms

So close to the railway stations REAR exit we almost walked past it.Everything to see in Nimes is almost the other side of the rail tracks and a simple walk through the station, passing both front and rear bus stations.Absolute fabulous helpfull receptionists and only problem is the wifi which is only decent in the lobby. We didnt use the nice looking breakfast facility but people seemed happy with it.TV was good.(No English channels sadly) and it had a vending machine for cookies crisps drinks etc not overpriced next to the sole lift.All the facilities you needed in the central kitchen part and their is a supermarket almost next door. It was great when returning from Aiges Mordes on a hot day to get off the bus and walk straight into the hotel. Same with trips by rail to Avignon.Amazingly quiet for next to a station.Overslept first day due to this.?Cannot go wrong.Sorry to leave this place and take the circuotus airport bus (Half the size of the many other buses) but it travelled around the whole city on its 0745 start back.We never actually found a quality evening restraunt without walking the almost 1 mile past the Arena. (well worth a visit)

For the money, this place is excellent in all ways. The location is perfect, right next to the railway and bus stations and 5 minutes' walk to the old town. The service was great - a delightful receptionist who made sure we knew where everything was. The room was great, although I wish we'd spent the small amount of extra euros a night for a 1 bedroom apartment as it would have been more spacious and we would have had a balcony. The one thing I'd say is that you must make sure you arrive when the reception desk is open (it's not a 24hr reception), otherwise you won't be able to check in.

Receptionist gave us directions to local icons and supermarkets. Kitchenette in our room was great. Washing facilities available and when we didn't have the correct change we were able to exchange with reception, which was lovely!

This Hotel punches well above its rating

For a two star hotel, this was a superb overnight stay. A well equipped apartment, where we were able to self cater and watch the Olympic opening ceremony. The desk clerk was the most helpful individual we have encountered for a long time - nothing was too much trouble for him. A very economical but well appointed base - two minutes from the ralway and bus stations - from which to explore this lovely town.

It was a very clean, comfortable hotel room/apartment with a kitchen area which was well stocked with crockery and utensils. Having a fridge and some space to prepare and eat basic meals was a great help in keeping costs down. There were no little food shops or boulangeries nearby but Monoprix was about 10/15 mins. walk away. Staff were all very helpful. Being near the train and bus station was a bonus. We saved taxis fares on arrival and departure and a bus trip to Uzes (50 mins) cost only 1.50 Euros, single fare!
Excellent value for money.

Not easy to find!

Impossible to find! Accor took over this aparthotel in September 2011 and still have not changed the signage. Sat nav is not very helpful because of a new tunnel. Look for the Citea Aparthotel.

Check their reception opening hours which are limited. Ask for a parking space in advance.

However once you've found it, it is not bad at all. Clean, fairly modern (apart from a hand held shower over the bath) and excellently positioned just across the street from the train station with the old town beyond.

A éviter si vous êtes exigeant en propreté !

Je n'incrime absolument pas les femmes de ménage mais :

Chambre sale.
Petit balcon jamais nettoyé
Le micro ondes sale
La tasse pas lavée.
Poignées meubles cuisine sales.
Odeur nauséabondes dans la chambre.

Je pense qu'il faut trouver une solution pour les dames de chambre aient le temps de faire correctement les chambres.

Seule les draps et serviettes étaient propres.

Point positif : l'empathie, l'accueil, et la gentillesse de la réceptionniste

L'hébergement est très bien situé, tout près des services, de la gare de trains ainsi que du quartier historique. La rue piétonnière qui mène au quartier historique abrite plusieurs restaurants avec terrasse. Il y a également de beaux endroits à visiter. Il faut toutefois prévoir un supplément pour le stationnement intérieur. Excellent choix!
