Very basic apartment. Needs alot of upgrade. The shower curtain is dirty and wall tiles and floor tiles look dirty and may be moldy.

No me pude quedar en el hotel porque te permiten reservar para la misma noche pero no tienen recepción, después ni me mandaron un código para poder entrar, ni cogían el teléfono para de urgencias.
Han pasado dos semanas y todavía estoy esperando la devolución del dinero.

Convenient location

The hotel was situated between 15-30 minutes walking distance from most historic sites and the walk back and forth felt safe. (a single woman)
The train station is nearby also.
There are fast food options nearby which is convenient and the location is in a type of strip mall. If you arrive when the reception is closed you are stuck waiting outside until it opens again! Make sure you will be arriving during reception hours! I found the room to be clean. The air conditioner worked well to keep the room nice and cool!
My only complaint would be that the reception is closed at times throughout the day so if you need anything you have to call the helpline.

Good stop over option if on a long drive.

Great staff, friendly, really efficient, spoke good English and sorted us out with a late check in.
Room was good and as advertised. Some signs of age, especially in the bathroom, shower head didn't stay in place and the cubicle leaked a bit. Otherwise very comfortable.

Between Train and Bus Stations

The Appart'City Nimes was a decent hotel for what I needed. I arrived by train and was departing early the next morning by bus. This hotel was was closest to the FlixBus stop for a reasonable price.

The young woman who checked me in was very friendly.

The room was large enough and the kitchenette included a fridge, cook top and microwave. The internet was decent. The bedding and towels were in good condition and the bed was firm.

The room did have some condition issues. The shower curtain was a bit stained at the bottom and could be replaced. Also there were some floor tiles that were broken and could be replaced.

The room met my needs and if I were to need to be near the bus stop in the future, I would look to stay here again.

Great Hotel in a good location

Hotel room was very well equipped with a small fridge and freezer sink, multiple cups and bowls, cleaning equipment and a microwave all of which were clean. Check in was quick and the receptionist fortunately spoke English.

Location-wise the hotel is situated about 15-20 mins walk from the city centre. The hotel has a Carrefour opposite open till about 10pm as well as a 24hr Mcdonalds and Domino's Pizza.

Overall a very good hotel, which would only benefit if then check in time was earlier as 3pm seems quite late.

The staff were fantastic & the hotel is close enough to walk to major attractions in Nimes but parking & access is a bit of a problem. Also it seems that Nimes have very few & reportedly expensive taxis. One local told us taxies were expensive for short rides and we tried to book a local taxi & the reply from the company was ‘I can’t come today!’ . However, the people in the tourist offices were extremely helpful.

This is budget student quality.

The whole of floor 2 had an obnoxious smell and the carpets are worn & stained. We had a small hotel room with a hob sink & microwave fitted in the same space as a wardrobe. This is not what we would class a a studio. It did not even have a kettle of coffee maker supplied. The room was worn out & dirty.

Terrible communication

This apartment hotel had limited hours for checking in. When we arrived, just before noon, the person at the desk said that they would be closed until 2:00 p.m., but we could not check into our room yet. On the national website it was stated that there was someone there until 8:00 p.m., but when we returned at 6:30, the office was closed. We managed to get into our room, but that involved long phone calls.

Disappointed and embarrassing!!

Disappointing and embarrassing! I picked this for a quick overnight stay on our way to avignon based on good reviews. Check in was polite and quick but when I went to the floor where our room was..it felt like I was in a slum. Carpet was torn and chunks missing, stains on carpet and it was dirty. Room was basic with 2 bulbs out, basic cable with limited channels..sheers on Windows were torn in tatters, black mold on shower tiles near base. Bed was comfortable. They charge for everything and a list is in the room. I could not believe it when clerk told me at check in that I had to clean room or be charged 18 euro. Garbage had to be thrown and I asked if they expected me to wash sheets and towels too..they said no. Not worth the hassle unless you are broke.

Good value for a good place

DIY hotel

The hotel is well located, especially for those who drive. Room is in a good condition. Shower, air-conditioning, beddings are all satisfying. HOWEVER, it was chaotic in the check in nightmare… I had been to other apart'city, which normally requires a "safe-box check-in". It worked quite well before. But this time, I saw brunches of people surrounding the opened "safe-box" searching for their own envelope with their name on it, and the keys inside. Apparently somebody's key was taken. And anybody could have been taken away mine! I feel so bad about this insecure "safe box". I decided not to book apartments of this group, particularly in busy holidays and weekend when you can never have instant assistance.

Getting there

Albeit one is provided with a map of sorts the necessary detail is not there. Side street access in France is a chad he at the best of times. We managed to drive by the entrance at least 3 times before the small signage was evident down a small side slip. Also the name of the hotel was certainly not a highlighted item and not easily picked out. The pizza place had better signage.
Staff was fine pleasant and helpful. Once acquainted with public transit info it was slick and easy to get into the town center at only 1 euro!

Nothing special about this hotel

I booked this hotel because I was going to a concert at the arena, and, booking one day prior, it was the closest hotel the venue. It was about a 15-20 minute walk to the arena. Nimes is beautiful, and I could spend many days there. The air conditioner was broken and when I asked when it would be fixed, the woman at the desk just shook her head no. No WIFI. There is nothing special about this trip.

It's very convenient that they have a kitchen and tons of pots, pans, and dish ware - especially if you're planning on staying there for a while.

The only thing I didn't like is that they have no room service and worse, you have to make sure you leave the room spotless before you leave or else get charged. I found this to be just a big annoyance - particularly when you're in a hurry to leave.

The apartment was well-equipped except for a kettle, although there was an excellent coffee maker. It has free underground parking and was a great location for easy access to major roads out of town. They offer a good value breakfast and the staff are very welcoming and helpful. It is located on the outskirts but is a pleasant walk to all the wonderful sites of Nimes. With its narrow streets, it is much easier to walk than to drive in town.

McDonald across from the street, subway just next to the hotel. Free parking in front of the hotel. We enjoyed staying there and we highly recommend it.

New Appartments are great value.

A great place to stay in that it is cheap and convenient for towns/attractions around Nimes. The rooms are basic but comfortable - as they are so new, the condition is superb.However, the appartments are a 20 minutes walk from the centre of the city which means you need your own transport or a local bus timetable!

Great room for its price but bad service

it's written on the website that the checkin time starts from 2pm on Saturday. When I arrived at 2, the staff said the checkin time should be 3 and asked me to wait for 1 hour. I questioned the information on the web. He just said that was a mistake. The didn't leave their email and the phone was not accessible.

But the room was really comfortable.

Great quiet place for a coulple

This is an apartment not a hotel so it has some limitations,and the desk is only staffed at limited times. It has however all you need for your stay, cooking, TV, phone etc. It is very clean and pleasant and it gives you the freedom to come and go at any hour. There is nothing of interest in the area and the few local restaurants are poor. It is not far out of town, 20/30 minutes walk, but on a hot day it is hard work! The bus only runs until about 8pm. Parking is good and it would be an ideal place to stay with a car.

Ok for a one night stay. But wasnt expecting to sleep on a sofabed. about 15-20 min walk from the Roman Arena and old town. Nothing really in the vicinity of the hotel. If you only want a room to sleep in it is fine but I wouldnt spend time in the room.

Stayed 3 days in Nîmes and found the staff particularly helpful and friendly. The room was clean, cooking was easy and bathroom was spacious with good water pressure. Close to 2 bus stops that takes you to the train station and center. Problem is the bus stops services at about 8:30-8:45 at night. If you want to avail of summer night activities like Thursday night music (great!) and a late dinner, you need to walk for 20 minutes from Nîmes center. Safe but tiring. I guess you can take a cab or drive if you can find parking or spend extra. Safe area. Only problem I found was that the internet connection by cable never worked in our studio and had to constantly go down to the reception area for the wifi. Other than that it was good.

Very pleasant 3 day stay. Apartment had most facilities that we require for a short stay (i.e. Fridge, glasses, strangely no kettle but no problem for us). Staff were friendly when required but otherwise were unobtusive and we were left to our own devices. Short walk into town but straight road and with the weather being good this caused no problems.

We felt that it was really good value for money. When we were trying to work out how to get there, once we had arrived in Nimes, we were led to believe that it was a fair way out of town and would necessitate a taxi journey. In reality it wasn't too far out of town, and once we knew the way, it was easy walking distance for us and also on a bus route. No doubt the reasonable price reflected that fact that it wasn't in the old town.

OK - not great, but acceptable.

This hotel is OK. It's a 20 minute walk to the train station and the old section of Nimes, and on several bus lines. There are tons of chain and mom-and-pop restaurants nearby, and three grocery stores across the street. The wired internet is decently fast. There are some thoughtful touches, such as a heated towel rack, good lighting, lots of electrical outlets, plush comforter on the bed, and reading lamps in the bed’s headboard. The staff is multilingual and very helpful.

The annoyances: Limited reception hours (closed 12:30-3pm, closed Sundays and holidays, closed at 7pm M-F, closed at 5 on Sat, and you can't check in until 3pm. Our room smelled heavily of cigarette smoke and the fleece blanket was clearly dirty. There is no hot water many nights after 7 pm. Laundry facilities are one washer and one dryer for the entire hotel- 6.5 euros for both and you use tokens purchased from the reception desk. The cleaning staff often leave their supplies in the dryer when they leave in the evening. The kitchen is oddly equipped - no mugs- only tiny espresso cups, the only glasses were wine glasses which were dirty), the only knife was a small, bent paring knife. We had a frying pan, but it was a heavily scratched nonstick. There were no potholders/hot pads supplied. There is no desk; rooms do NOT have a safe.

Overall, it's a good value for the price, but there are some low-cost improvements they could make which would make Appart'city much more attractive and comfortable.

We did not really think this could be classed as an apartment, it is a studio, but the kitchen is reasonably equipped, if you boil water in a pan. The worst bit was the bed which is a couch conversion and is not very comfortable. The shower was loose from the wall, but we were assurred this was because it was new and would be fixed. This all sounds negative and we would stop again, the reception was welcoming, although it closed at 7.00, it is 20 minutes easy walk into Nimes and in an area of chain restaurants with plenty of choice for meals. Probably better for younger travellers.

Appart City Nimes - Fresh and New

The hotel is located in a newer area of Nimes that is most accessible by car, but close to restaurants, bakery, butcher, etc, and within an easy walk of the train station, and then beyond the train station to the old city center with it's shops and attractions (arena, temple, and gardens).

The room was clean and internet was reasonably priced and of acceptable speed. The bed in the room we stayed in (a studio) was a fold-up couch type, but it was new and had a thick enough mattress to be comfortable, the bathroom was in a modern style and clean, the room had a microwave, stove, oven, dishwasher, as you would expect at an extended stay location. If you are staying for a longer period, you can get apartment type rates, which are better because of the disparate tax rules for a hotel versus an apartment lease.

Overall quite pleased.

The hotel was located about a 15 minute walk from the intresting area in Nimes. The room was clean and had a kitchenette with enough pots and pans and plates, etc. There are restaurants nearby, including a MacDonalds and a Subway, and a small mall with a large super market and other shops.

Public transportation is good, cheap and frequent, but getting around by foot was also very easy. One of our friends has a bad knee, so she used the bus more than we did.

Nimes itself was a very pleasant surprise. It has a beautiful "old" area with a 2000 year old colloseum where bull fights are held.

I would recommend the hotel and stay there again.

Great value and great service

The Appart'City hotel is very convenient for those travelling by car because it is only a short drive away from the motorway. The building itself seems to be brand new and we weren't sure if anyone had even stayed in our room before! We were pleased to discover that there was a very effective air conditioner in the room and the staff were very friendly. Our apartment also had a fully equipped mini-kitchen (although we were only staying for one night, so didn't use it much). All in all, the hotel was excellent value and I would recommend it to anyone, particularly because of its close proximity to Arles.

Je suis client depuis des années , et malheuresement le confort baisse de plus en plus , les equipements sont de plus en plus delabrés , ce n'est pas sale, cependant c 'est vieillissant en tout point , et suivant la personne à l'acceuil y a eu des fois ou franchement j'ai eu un mec , c 'etait une horreur dans la comprehension , les relances de paiements etc .. alors que tout etait payé , tres stressant de sa part alors que tout etait ok au final ... je l'ai pas revu d ailleurs (j'etais content)

Très bon hôtel, calme, bien situé, avec des appartements assez spacieux.
Le petit déjeuner mériterait, un peu plus de variétés (oeufs, fruits frais, par exemple), mais cela est compensé par notre charmante hôte qui s'occupe du petit déjeuner.

Appart'City de Nîmes trop vieillissant, rien à voir avec les photos proposés, salle de bain très abîmé lavabon fissuré, sole du carrelage cassé, peinture jauni, chambre vieillant, sol très sale ne pas marché avec des chaussette blanche car de suite noir, lit inconfortable, très abîmé, à largement fait son temps à changé, canapé lit en lit d'appoint on ne ressens que les ressorts tellement qu'il a était utilisé il serait grand temps de le changer et de l'utiliser uniquement en canapé. Très déçu surtout pour le prix de la chambre, odeur de renfermé et la poussière, n'a pas lodeur agréable du ménage qui soit disant est fait à notre arrivée, prévoir donc dans votre valise des Lingette nettoyante et du féreze pour assainir l'air ambiant.

Goed verblijf maar het kan wel renovatie gebruiken

Goede kamer voor een gunstige prijs. Comfortabele bedden (de oude krakende bedden zijn er niet meer). De openingstijden van de receptie zijn wel beperkt, maar dat wordt opgelost via een kluiscode die je krijgt toegestuurd. Het gebouw kan wel een opknapbeurt gebruiken. Veel is kapot, werkt niet meer of hangt los aan de muur. Vanwege het principe dat je eigenlijk een kamer huurt en dus ook deels zelf schoon moet houden zie je wel dat zeker op de badkamer er allerlei kitnaden niet meer schoon te krijgen zijn.

Drap sale avec des poils sur tout le drap. Obligé de demander un nouveau drap à la réception, que j’ai dû changer toute seule.
S’il très sale. Avec peluche et poils par terre. Je l’ai fait constater à la réception.
Je pense que cette chambre a été oubliée par la femme de chambre.

La propreté et l'accueil du personnel, rien à dire.
Par contre, je souhaitais un lit double mais il s'agissait de deux lits simples accolés. il y avait une mauvaise odeur dans la salle de bain. Probablement un problème de syphon. Le lieu commence à vieillir et mériterait un rafraichissement. Cela dit le tarif était très correcte

Nous avons passé un bon séjour dans cet établissement.
Le secteur est calme, facile d’accès.
Les options de restauration sont nombreuses sur moins d’un kilomètre.
Les studios sont fonctionnels et propres.

Je déconseille c est hôtel, sale très sale le sol, le miroir, la vaisselle et le pire le canapé plein de tache, poussièreux il était dans un sale état on ne sais même pas assi dessus ( PEUR DU VIRUS ) Je ne pense pas que les normes d hygiène soit respecter étant donner la situation actuelle. Sa donne vraiment pas envi d y retourner..

Chambre efficace ,salle de bain d'hôpital (vraiment étonnée ) mais pour une nuit c'est correct.Par contre oreiller à changer ils font très mal à la nuque et rajouter couverture légère avec drap car couette pas du tout pratique quand les températures varies .Froid et chaud toute la nuit.
Je tiens à dire que le petit déjeuné est fabuleux,vraiment beaucoup de choix et une super qualité des produits cela fait oublier les désagréments de la nuit et les dames qui s'en occupent sont très aimables.
