Although the hotel is housed in an older building, its location in Poreč is truly unbeatable. While there’s no on-site parking, a dedicated lot is conveniently located nearby. Enjoying breakfast on the terrace with a view of the sea is an unforgettable experience.

Beautiful place but not worth the price

The property is beautiful, in an old palace on the sea. The staff were wonderful. My room...didn't love it. I was placed on the first floor which I hated. I wanted a balcony but it was not usable because there was zero tranquility or privacy being on the ground level with the general public walking right by on the street. For this reason I couldn't keep blinds open and get light. As a solo female traveler I feel less safe in a situation where my room is open to the public like this. No deadbolt on the door either. Also was really loud on first floor. There was a bike race when I was there and I heard all the bikers getting ready just outside my door at 6am. I wish hotels would warn guests when there are events like this. Also, the shower was very poorly designed and flooded the bathroom unless I directed the shower head into the front corner and gave myself 6 inches of space to shower. They need to fix this.

Really close to the ferry terminal, which is such a relief after a long day of travel with luggage. Room was clean and spacious. Only stayed for one night. Very typical hotel vibe.

The receptionist was nice and found a room for us to upgrade to with an ocean view. From there, the experience went downhill. Our air conditioner did not work properly and it was hot trying to sleep - I am never hot. Also the shower glass did not contain the water and we had to soak it up from the hallway. We asked where we could get ice and the bartender told us to go to another bar and ask for it. Breakfast wasn't great either. 3euros extra for a VERY small glass of orange juice and nowhere to find still water. It was convenient to walk the old town and the sunspot the balcony was beautiful but would not go back

Beautiful location, easily walk to restaurants and shops. Shower in master bath was not caulked correctly and every shower turned the bathroom floor into a swimming pool. Good thing it was summer.

Perfect location.

We chose the hotel for the location and the fact it had a pool. Perfectly positioned in the town.
Service on occasion in the restaurant could have been better and breakfast had no yoghurt!
When there were no sunbeds they brought out more which was very welcome.
They also kindly took us to the bus station for our travel on to Rovinj.
Room was small but comfortable with a nice balcony.

Great location and great staff. Nice breakfast Buffet. Only issue was the air conditioner in our upgraded room didn’t work and it took days to fix so we had to sleep in a second room. They did give us a discount and free drinks for all of our trouble. We would stay again.

Had city facing room, which actually had a partial sea view. Nice hotel, a little dated with darker wood finish but good size room with tall windows. Bed comfortable, safe provided, fridge but no tea/coffee making facility. Good breakfast. Hotel is about a 15 min walk from bus station. We were there towards end of season so hotel quiet on check in but got a little busier. Enjoyed stay.

Great stay! Very convenient location: walking distance to everything, port if you come from Venice via ferry, bus station if you plan to go to other areas in Croatia, about 25 min walk to nice beaches. The breakfasts were fantastic, I couldn’t sit to wake up and eat!

Lovely hotel, very friendly and helpful staff. Shuttle from the car park took 5 mins. Bedroom on the small side but very clean. Breakfast had a mix of hot and cold, not a massive choice but one of the best we had on our Croatian tour. Great location.

Everything was amazing, from front desk staff to Nikolas in the bar. Our room had views all round of the sea - spectacular - would definitely recommend a sea view. Close enough to town to keep away the noise, but near enough to walk everywhere. Breakfast was a lavish affair with everyone catered for from veggies, vegans and meat eaters. Fresh fruit, fresh honey, yoghurt, cooked breakfast, cakes, croissants - you couldnt be amazed. Porec is a lovely little town with plenty to do, not as crowded as other coastal destinations.

We had a pleasant stay overall at the hotel. After we checked in, we discovered that our bathroom did not have cold water, just for about 20 seconds was cool water available in the shower and the sink. It was evening and the front desk person offered another room access so we could shower more comfortably.
The service personnel at the front desk and the restaurant were very friendly and proficient. They quickly performed their duties with a pleasant smile. The breakfast buffet was wonderful with selections of fresh fruits, juices, eggs, fresh inlets, cold cuts, yogurts, breads, and more. We arrived with a small tour bus and the hotel staff came to transport our luggage from the bus station to the hotel at no additional charge. The seaside patio was inviting and the views from our rooms were spectacular.

Best position in Porec.

Hotel Palazzo has the prime position in Porec. It is a charming building and very beautiful. The pool is gorgeous. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was fresh and tasty. Marvellous position for wandering the old town where there are many great restaurants and you can swim in the sea.

Getting to outside hotel was a bit of a palava due to new barrier system at the harbour but hotel itself was very nice. Reception staff very friendly and helpful, restaurant staff the same. Room was clean, location was great right at the seafront and in walking for bars & shops.

Set in quaint Croatian coastal town

Porec is a gateway to Venice so few people spend more than night here outside of the summervseason but it's well worth the stop. Small, medeval community with pictureque town center where the Grand Palazzo is located. Hotel itself is lovely and rooms are spacious and comfortable. Staff is anxious to please and provided us with box lunches when,our ferry left before breakfast. Would have spent a second night or two here with no problem.

What an absolutely lovely holiday in beautiful Porec. The views really were idyllic and the hotel very grand but welcoming and with very friendly helpful staff. The location was perfect within less than a minutes' stroll from the marina, local waterfront restaurants, bars and Porec Old Town's cobbled streets. Had the best time and would love to return. If/ when we do we would certainly use this hotel and would highly recommend the hotel itself and the location. The Head Waitor was particularly helpful in advising me which items on the menu could be adapted to suit my strict gluten free diet. The food was delicious and so well presented.

Great location but amenities need work

Overall this is a good hotel, not great, but good. Pool and spa facilities very small and odd, service is uneven, but the location is excellent and the overall setting of the hotel is very nice. So, a bit of a mixed bag but it depends on what you are looking for.

Quiet hotel at end of quay

We spent two nights here and visited Venice during one day. Hotel located within few minutes of boarding point for boat to Venice so we were able to eat breakfast before 8.00 am departure. Good menu in restaurant and coffee bar, pleasant friendly staff and good rooms and furnishings. Pool rather small but adequate for a cooling dip. Seaviews from terrace great and an enjoyable and relaxing place to watch boats coming in and out of harbour. Good flat paths and roads to cycle and hotel stored our bikes safely and free of charge. Would return to this hotel again.

Perfect location for a next day Venezia Lines crui

I booked this hotel solely for its location close to the cruise port. Upon checkin we were given a room where the air conditioning unit did not work. We were moved immediately to a nicer room, where all worked well. The bed was OK, nothing special. But the staff did their best to be accommodating. The breakfast in the morning was amazing. Truly awesome spread. I would stay here again if I was coming back but I would not pay more than $100 a night.

Grand Palazzo in Porec

was the perfect location. The hotel was considered the best in the harbor area and we would agree. The hotel is nicely done, has the tbest location at the tip of the harbor and the staff was very helpful from all aspects. The breakfast was generous and had a lot of variety. It even included the Prosecco.

Sehr gut: Lage (!), schickes Ambiente, hervorragende Küche des Restaurants „Ritzi“ mit Bar direkt am Wasser, Shuttleservice (Porec ist autofrei). Nicht so gut: Zimmer war nicht wie gebucht mit Blick, Ausstattung für den Preis durchschnittlich, Frühstück zwar reichhaltig, aber qualitativ schwach, Poolbereich eng, nicht genügend Schirme (eigentliche Sonnenschutzanlage defekt), Personal teilweise mangelhaft.
Insgesamt: Trotz allem einen Besuch wert.

We arrived and were informed our room was given to another person. We paid for the most expensive room in the hotel and I was put in filthy small room.
The reception and the manager are the worst I bad hotel can have.
I will not say about the restaurant because it is not worth

Totale disastro!!!!

Esperienza discutibile, ho prenotato più camere pagate in anticipo, nonostante messaggi e richieste segnalate all'arrivo nulla era stato disposto. Imbarazzante il servizio parcheggio bus-navetta. Mezzi obsoleti personale maleducato, inaccettabile che una persona anziana non possa arrivare con il proprio mezzo all'ingresso dell'hotel. Inoltre richiesta pagamento per parcheggio a 2km da segnaletica comunale gratuito. Poco personale alla reception che deve fare diverse mansioni. Un hotel da 3 stelle. La Spa senza personale ed il Casinò indicato sul sito, chiuso da 2 anni. Una pessima esperienza!!!
Unica nota positiva il personale di sala educato gentile e professionale.

Colazione non da hotel 4 stelle, pochi dolci e prosciutto crudo stopposo.
Servizio navetta per il parcheggio a pagamento in un parcheggio pubblico gratuito, che termina alle 23. Difficile raggiungere l’hotel per una persona con disabilità.
Personale alla reception inadeguato.
Salviette e accappatoi assolutamente non da hotel 4 stelle.
Servizio massaggi non presente (hanno detto che la massaggiatrice non c’era da un mese quando sul sito era un servizio disponibile).
Il piatto doccia perdeva acqua e il bagno diventava un lago.

Vi hadde et superior rom med byutsikt, da vi var 3 stykker. Det var trangt med ekstra seng på rommet, så usikker på at rommet var på 23 m2. Ekstra sengen hadde en veldig tynn madrass og var ikke god å ligge i. Rommet var ikke like flott som på bildene, så litt usikker på om vi fikk det rommet vi bestillte. Ellers var det et flott Hotel med god beliggenhet og hyggelige personale.
