Great hotel overall. Very close to the coastal trail with access to the beach, rental equipment, and the little train to town. The trip from the bedroom to the restaurant or the pool is a bit cumbersome, as the elevator only goes to the reception area, and you have to walk down the length of the lobby and down the stairs to go to them. The highlight for us was the quality of the food in the restaurant, as well as all the staff there. Everyone in the restaurant area are extremely friendly and helpful. And again the food quality, considering the large number of people to serve, is outstanding. Kudos to everyone !

Great hotel/resort, message parlor also, the breakfast and dinner buffet were amazing! Easy what to the beach, which offer activities for families also. Mini golf, table tennis tables, rent a jet ski/boat. Also, a 5 minute drive to the old town of Porec. Love it!

It’s ok

This is a 3star hotel and you get that kind of service. We had an economy room which was ok, but smaller. As a couple it was ok. If you have half board you get breakfast and dinner included. The breakfast buffet was really good and lots of selection. The dinner buffet was ok. It included Croatian beer and wine which was not too bad. And of course juices and sodas. We ended up buying our own orange juice because theirs was really watered down. The dinner food was not bad not the best quality, but a decent selection and different choices every evening. The hotel is in a good location. There is a little train that takes guests into the city of Poreč. The cost is 4 Euro per person. The grounds are nice and big and well kept. Here are some improvement ideas: the shower needs a full enclosure. It is only half a shower wall and all the water splashes out! The fairly small pool is not enough for all the guests in the hotel. It got very crowded. The hotel claims to have a private beach, but all the lounge chairs there cost 6 Euro. There should be some set up for the hotel guests. It was a good price and good reviews, but if we find something different we wouldn’t return here.

Overall we liked the hotel. There is a nice sea view, and it's close to the beach (90 HRK for 2 sunbeds and an umbrella per day). The hammocks were nice. There is a towel service by the pool (most of the time at least). Everything was very clean. Breakfasts were also good. The dinner was rather less exciting - not too much choice, mostly fatty and meaty food, and especially bad drinks (no tea or coffee, diluted soft drinks, horrible wine). There is also a bit too much noise from a music thing that goes on until 11pm, and it didn't seem like any guests were actually there and enjoying the music.

Modern and well maintained facility near beach. Very generous staff who assisted me over 3 days to find out location of delayed airline bag. Upon my late check-in at 1 AM they had a late dinner plate laid out with drinks. Half board breakfast and dinner buffets are very filling with many options.

Decent with many good points for families.

Overall experience was good. The hotel was clean and pretty well maintained.
Good location, plenty of swimming at the hotel both in the sea and a large pool.
You can walk along the paved path by the sea into Porec which has all kinds of excursion boats, restaurants and shopping.
The supplied meals at the hotel are edible, equivalent to a cafeteria or \"all you can eat\" restaurant. Take advantage of town. Breakfast is just fine.
The rooms were clean and the staff was mostly pleasant and/or efficient with the exception of the supervisor at reception.
One room we were given was not what was reserved and although one room had a thermostat that adjust down to 19c the other could not be adjusted and the stayed at 24c or 25c.
He cared not a bit about either problem and is almost enough reason to not recommend the place. He also berated the girl at the counter when she couldn't find our reservation assuming I spoke no Croatian 😉.
It is a place that books mostly group tours and mostly German and Austrians were there.

Perfect for a certain kind of experience

This is an all inclusive resort-which isn't our preference. The hotel was overbooked so we were \"upgraded \" to a room with a pool view which had a band for little kids until midnight. It was loud and unpleasant. This is a fun place if you want that kind of \"managed\" experience.

About 15 stairs to get to the elevator. No body available to help with the heavy suite cases. Another 25 stairs to get to the restaurant which is not access able by the elevator. Not suitable for people with limited mobility. Very small far away beach.

Gorgeous hotel, surrounded by a park with tennis, boating activités and playground for children. Too far out of town to walk so either need a car or need to take the local tourist train, that picks up at e hotel, in order to go into the old town. Staff were fantastic, we played tennis in the park and drove into town to drop off rental car and returned via train - great fun! Wonderful breakfast buffet and dinner buffet. Excellent spot for families, would recommend to all.

Way better than anything in Lovran!!!!!

A saviour of a hotel after a mistake in Lovran! We had been in their sister hotel, Galijot, earlier in our stay and could not tell why they had a star difference? Both are good for what they say they will do. Providing an easy half board stay near to the clear seas of Croatia. It was an unexpected bonus that the dinner came with complimentary beer or wine! Would thoroughly recommend if you are after a relaxing break.

Nice hotel right by the beach

Excellent location. Steps away from the beach with the best view of the island. Few breakfast and free dinner with exceptional choices!!! Swimming pool, live music, you name it. Also play ground for kids within 5min of walk. Strongly recommended. The room is a little small though. But you do not need to stay in the room for too long.

Loved our stay at this hotel - it was spotlessly clean, the staff were very helpful and efficient, the pool was great, the food was good. We don't usually like half board or all inc places, as the buffet experience can be a bit depressing with the same thing day after day, but we were impressed with the wide selection available at breakfast and dinner. The hotel was a short walk to the sea, a 20 minute walk to the old town, or you could get the land train. The surroundings were lovely and peaceful - trees everywhere, very restful.

Hotel Mediteran was lovely all around – definitely leaning on 4 stars, rather than the official 3 star rating (I have stayed in officially 4-star beach hotels in Spain before that were nowhere near this good). We booked a room with a balcony, overlooking the pool and we were delighted to find out that it was already available upon our early arrival (just after 10am)! Staff are multilingual (I believe I counted as many as 4 languages with just one of them), friendly and forthcoming. The guests are mainly not British (which is a good thing) and predominantly a mix of German / Slovenian / Italian / Croatian.
The food was delicious – plenty of choice for breakfast and dinners with lots of fish and meat options (as well as veg) and quite varied. Albeit, we only stayed for a few days, so can’t judge how I would feel after a 2-week stay.
The room was spotless clean, comfortable beds and a TV with lots of international TV channels (English / German / some Italian and French). Cleaning personnel was quiet (unlike some hotels where they are anything but quiet), polite (always said hello when passing) and super efficient.
The location of the hotel is perfect – a couple of minutes’ walk to the beach or a lovely stroll along the coast into Porec.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone thinking about visiting the area.

The room was adequate in size. the bathroom was tiny with no counter space for your toiletries. Beautiful view from the balcony. Staff was not friendly. In almost all the hotels ive staid in, the staff greets the guests, this one no. Reception was ok. Restaurant was nicely laid out with no crowding, however the food was not very high quality. I will not stay at this hotel again, nor recommend it to anyone.

The desk service was friendly and responsive. The breakfast and dinner had numerous selections but the food tasted mass produced. We noted 3 your buses there while we stayed and my guess is the hotel caters to large group tours promising average accommodations.

A very good choice of hotel.

Our room was comfortable and spacious, with a balcony, and with modern, tasteful décor. It overlooked the pool. It is a wonderful, relaxing, picturesque environment. We had transferred, more or less on arrival,, for a modest surcharge, from a room at the rear, which was smaller and without proper balcony, and not nearly so attractive. Meals (self-service) were quite varied and appetising. We were delighted at the free provision of wine and beer at dinner - a big plus! My only suggestions for improvement were (1) better choice of soups, and (2) more shellfish. Room service was unobtrusive, and very efficient - there was an exceptional standard of cleanliness. Wi-Fi is available for an extra charge; I feel that there should be no charge for it nowadays. A fitness room would be a useful additional facility. Overall, we had an outstanding 10-day holiday. We would recommend this hotel very highly.

We requested a sea view room and was gladly provided by the lady at the reception. The hotel has the resort feel to it, the buffet breakfast and dinner were excellent - plenty of food selection and alcohol drinks were included. Nice walk to town by the Adriatic Sea or if you don't feel like walking, there is a little train that will take you to town from your hotel & back. Had a lovely, relaxing time after travelling from Slovenia, wished we could have stayed longer !

If you are looking for a clean space with various actvities organized similar to an all-inclusive, then this is a fine hotel.The meals were fine and plentiful. The coffee was terrible. Lunch is not provided but that is OK. The beach area is small and very busy as is the pool area. It might be a good idea to create a \"sandy\" beach area that is not also the same water as the speedboats or excursion boats. No one likes swimming in oliy water.

Das grösste Problem ist, dass dies Hotel nicht Barrierefrei ist..also 9 Stufen zur Reception..von dort 7 Stufen zum Lift..sehr viele Treppen vom Hotel zum Strand..absolut nicht geeignet für Mobilitätseingeschränkte..Rollatoren oder alle, die mit Trolleys und Bollerwagen zum Strand wollen..auch der Zugang zum pool ist nicht barrierefrei..dies muss unbedingt beim Hotel beschrieben sein..da viele dort waren( Ältere..Menschen mit Kinderwagen etc)welche dort eindeutig \" eingesperrt\" waren..und Ihnen vorher niemand transparent machte..dass im Mediteran..nichts ( auch nicht der Zugang zum Speisesaal ohne Trepoen zu erreichen ist.

Hotel mit vielen Zimmern. zum park angebehm ruhig & mit sicht auf bäume. Zimmereinrichtung ist nicht topmodern, wird jedoch jeden tag gereinigt. Handtücher wurden tägl. gewechselt. Leider waren im ersten stock flecken auf dem teppich im gang. Vermutlich von ausgelaufenen Reinigungsmitteln. Optisch nicht so schön. Zum frühstücken und abendessen gab es viel auswahl wodurch jedoch der geschmack leidet. Ich verstehe nicht, wenn nutzer vor mir schreiben: \"essen war lecker\". Da fragt man sich, was diese personen sonst gewohnt sind. Lösung: weniger auswahl, mehr Geschmack! Buffett wird immer wieder nachgefüllt.
Personal an der bar leider seeehr langsam. Es dauert ewig bis jemand kommt und nochmal eine ewigkeit bis die getränke kommen. Nach dem essen werden vorerst die gäste auf der terasse bedient. In den teil der lobby, wo ebenfalls getränkekarten ausliegen kam keiner. Als ich dann, nach 45 min. Wartezeit an die bar ging, sah mich die blonde dame an und hat nur die Augenbrauen hochgezogen. Kein hallo, kein Entschuldigung fürs warten, kein \"ich schicke einen Kellner\". Wenn ich kein gast des hotels gewesen wäre, wäre ich spätestens hier gegangen....
Kellner machen zunächst einen unnahbaren, unfreundlichen eindruck. Lächeln wurde nicht schaden.
Parkplätze vorhanden, verstehe jedoch nicht wieso 1,20€ pro tag verlangt wird, da genug vorhanden. Stadtmitte porec zu fuss in ca 25 min erreichbar oder man nimmt den meist bereits vollen zug für 4 € p.P.
Ergebnis: Preis Leistung stimmt nicht

Great value for a relaxing vacation

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Mediteran Plava Laguna, and I can say it exceeded all my expectations for a three star hotel. From the moment we arrived, I was impressed. The surroundings are great, with a beautiful pool and seating area around the hotel.

Cleanliness is clearly a priority at this hotel. My room was spotless and well maintained throughout my stay. The common areas, including the lobby and dining areas, were also immaculate.

The staff at Hotel Mediteran Plava Laguna were consistently friendly and helpful.

The location of the hotel is perfect for both relaxation and exploration. Nestled in a tranquil area, it provides a peaceful retreat with stunning views. At the same time, it's an ideal base for exploring the Istria region. With easy access to local attractions, beautiful beaches, and charming towns, there is always something to see and do.

Most of the guests when we were there were seniors citizens so it was more quieter than expected.

Overall, my stay at Hotel Mediteran Plava Laguna was fantastic. It offers great value for money and an unbeatable location. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to enjoy a wonderful vacation in Istria.

Hatten bei der Ankunft keine Handtücher am Zimmer, auch kein Willkommensgetränk, obwohl es eine gebuchte Leistung war.

Bei der Speisenauswahl hätte ich definitv mehr erwartet und auch besser. Es war aber ok.

Doppelbett ist unglaublich schmal, kaum breiter als ein Einzelbett.

Personal im Speisesaal sehr bemüht, an der Rezeption überfordert.

Ansonsten ist die Unterkunft ok. Alles sauber. Gibt aber sicher zu diesem Preis weit bessere.
Würde hier nicht wieder buchen.

Hotel inserito in un parco in posizione comoda sia per visitare Parenzo utilizzando la pista pedonale lungomare oppure con il trenino che passa ogni mezzora, sia per raggiungere le diverse spiagge della zona.
L'Hotel è risultato pulito con camere confortevoli, molto buoni i servizi offerti:
Personale della Reception cortese.
Camera accogliente arredata con semplicità, molto silenziosa non si sentivano i rumori delle camere adiacenti.
Il bagno risulta ristrutturato molto bene con una doccia molto grande e comoda.
Le due piscine ben tenute e pulite (c’è ne anche una baby), con acqua di mare che è risulta particolarmente fredda, ombrelloni lettini e asciugamani sia a bordo piscina che per il parco sottostante con ombrelloni di paglia e amache,
Sala ristorante molto ampia, colazione e cena a buffet con cibo buono e vario per ogni gusto, le bevande (vino, birra e bibite) sono comprese.
Parcheggio interno a pagamento (1 € /notte).
Nota negativa è che l’albergo anche se ristrutturato presenta ancora alcune barriere architettoniche che ne limitano fortemente alle persone con disabilità o con bimbi piccoli, alcuni gradini all’ingresso, per accedere agli ascensori per le camere, per accedere al ristorante agli spazi comuni e alla piscina.
Direi un hotel da consigliare assolutamente anche per l’ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo!

In generale l'albergo si presenta bene. La struttura non e nuova ma tenuta bene. Hanno moquette nei corridoi e nelle stanze e devo dire che nonostante sia pulita non si puo vedere al giorno d'oggi. La piscina e bella e anche nelle vicinanze c'è molto posto per i frequentatori. Ia colazione e la cena sono tipicamente non italiani. È fatta per una clientela tedesca e inglese. Pochi dolci e molto salato. La cassaforte poi, 2 euro al giorno per la chiave? Non si era mai visto. Il parcheggio, 1 euro al giorno. Fosse stato esterno posso capire, ma all'interno dell'hotel? Queste due cose proprio non mi sono piaciute. Parlano
molto poco italiano vista la clientela, ma ci si arrangia comunque bene.

Oppholdet var bra. Vi fikk ikke bestilt rom, men kunne bytte. Ble for mye stress. Renholdt var sån passe. Hadde problem med kloakk lukt på badet. Maten er god. Bassenget bra hyggelige kar som hadde håndkle utlevering. Baren ved bassenget har hyggelig betjeningen. Toget til byen er topp for barnebarnet på 7 år.

Our first and last stay there.

The hotel is located close to the shore with a 'tourist train' station at the main entrance. The parking lot is an area with trees and chaotic parking. If you're not careful you can damage your car or the tires at some tree stumps here and there.
Check in was ok, you can pay in either Kuna or Euro, but they don't exchange money. They just point you to an ATM in the lobby with a horrible exchange rate. Better go for the exchange offices closer to the city center.
The room was small with a nice little balcony. If you want to use the safe or get a refrigerator, you'll have to pay extra.
The worst thing was the bath. When the ventilation runs (and it does if the lights are on) it pulls a canalisation like smell from the shower drain. We told the reception, they said they'll inform a technician. Nothing changed (I don't even know if somebody checked anything while we weren't in the room).
The food was ok. I especially liked the grill station, where you got eggs, sausages and bacon in the morning and beef, pork, chicken and/or vegetables in the evening.
Other than that, nothing out of the ordinary.
The personnel was very eager to get the used dishes and glasses, but when one of them dropped some glasses, the clean up was very unmotivated, only collecting the big parts, leaving shards even at the place where the glasses dropped, not just the ones flying further away. That is quite dangerous, considering that many only wear open shoes and there are children running around, too.

Das Zimmer war eher klein. Wir waren mit 2 Motorrädern unterwegs, sprich entsprechend gekleidet und konnten die Kleider si einigermassen ausbreiten, zum trocknen.
Personal war sehr freundlich. Das Buffet am Abend war sehr reichlich und gut.

Posizione strategica a soli 15 minuti a piedi da porec o con trenino con fermata davanti all'ingresso dell'hotel a 40 kune andata-ritorno (3 euro).
Strutturalmente l'hotel è uno dei migliori di porec, offre molti spazi all'aperto e da proprio la sensazione di ampiezza. Ben curato il verde della pineta, pulita la piscina e le parti comuni. Il personale molto cortese e disponibile. Prenotato con hotels.com 2 camere senza balcone. Al nostro arrivo abbiamo chiesto di poterle avere con balcone. Disponibilissimi ad accontentarci e li ringraziamo ancora per quello.
C'è però una pecca purtroppo che nn riesce a equiparare la bellezza del posto. La cucina nn all'altezza.
Colazione abbastanza soddisfacente. Cena no!!! Proibitivo il consumo di carne o pesce. Dolci quasi inesistenti!
Pizza immangiabile. (in altri alberghi molto buona!!!). Nn parliamo dell'afflusso di gente in un locale con poca capienza rispetto al numero di ospiti.
Un appunto a tutti coloro che con foga spillano bibite dal distributore: \"fate due viaggi anziché riempire fino all'orlo il bicchiere per spanderlo poi per terra\"!!!

Service schlecht und unfreundlich, nie wieder!

Wir waren direkt nach unserer Hochzeit mit Familie und Freunden hier ein paar Tage auf Urlaub. Wie wir alle behandelt wurden habe ich noch nie erlebt.

Ich hatte Monate zuvor schon E-Mails geschrieben, dass wir 7 Zimmer gebucht haben und gerne in der Nähe wären.
Auch das Flitterwochen Zimmer war in den Mails mit Buchungsnummer erwähnt.

Bei der Ankunft wurden wir mehr als unfreundlich eingecheckt und angeschnauzt \"das Hotel ist voll, Zimmer nebeneinander geht nicht!\". Dann im \"Flitterwochenzimmer\" nicht einmal eine Notiz oder irgendetwas zu finden. (Viel erwartet man ja nicht, aber eine kleine Nachricht oder so vielleicht schon).
Es hat ganz ehrlich einfach keinen interessiert.

Während des Aufenthalts:
- Bitte um Cocktails ohne Eiswürfel (weil Halsschmerzen): Nein machen wir nicht
- Glas hinuntergefallen: Besen dem Gast in die Hand gedrückt
- Wo kann man sich zu Tennis anmelden: das ist privat, nicht im Hotel (auch keine Auskunft/Hilfe)
- Poolboy für die Handtücher fast nie zu finden
- Essensstandard wirklich schlecht. (bleibt nur Pizza & Pasta)
- Wirklich alles ist extra zu zahlen: Parkplatz, Safe, Kühlschrank

Alles in allem: Die Hotelanlage ist ganz schön, aber wir wurden noch nie so unfreundlich behandelt. Wir haben mehrere tausend Euro ausgegeben als Familie, dafür darf man wenigsten etwas Freundlichkeit erwarten.
Wir kommen sicher wieder nach Porec, aber ganz sicher nie wieder in dieses Hotel! Jedes Valamar Hotel ist besser!

ACHTUNG! Erst lesen und dann buchen. Nach diesem Urlaub schämen Sie sich aus Deutschland zu kommen. Es sei denn Ihre Kinder heißen Kevin Abend Buffet ab 18:30. Gegen 18:00 Uhr bilden sich schon Schlangen vor dem Speißesaal. Ab ca. 18:20 sind im Außenbereich keine Plätze mehr frei. Und dann beginnt die Schlacht um das Buffet. Absolut nicht zu empfehlen wenn Sie einen entspannten Urlaub haben möchten.

Замечательный отель!!!

Прекрасный отель в сосновом лесу, номер небольшой с очень красивым видом(жили на 3 этаже с видом на море), питание на HB просто великолепно с напитками на ужин!!!! До Пореча 15 минут пешком через сосновый лес. Больше подходит для тех кто любит скалистые берега,есть плавный заход в море но там не очень интересно. Единственный минус в номере нет холодильника, но можно взять на прокат. Вечером каждый день живая музыка в баре. Бассейн с морской водой, но мы им не пользовались, так как рядом много интересных мест для купания с естественной тенью от деревьев. Очень довольны , что выбрали именно этот отель.

Der Aufenthalt war in Ordnung. Es gab eine Garantie, dass Beschwerden innerhalb kurzer Zeit behoben werden. Allerdings war bei vielen Dingen einfach keine Beschwere möglich. Der Empfang war sehr nett, die Sauberkeit in den Zimmern war in Ordnung. Das Frühstücksbuffet sehr klassisch. Poolbereich in Ordnung, Parkplatz für 1 Euro pro Nacht sehr günstig.

Tolles Hotel, superberes Personal im Speisesaal! Aufgrund von Corona gibt es leider zurzeit etwas weniger Auswahl beim Essen aber alles wichtige ist vorhanden. Leider sind die Angestellten an der Rezeption etwas unfreundlich und an der Bar dasselbe. Dennoch kommen wir wieder gerne nächstes Jahr in dieses Hotel zurück :)

Wir haben drei Nächten hier verbracht und waren zufrieden.
Es ist ein grosses Hotel mit schöner Poolanlage. Die Zimmer sind ok und die Reinigung klappt auch gut. Für Frühstück und Abendessen gab es reichlich Angebot.

Schönes Hotel, welches mehr als 3 Sternen verdient

Hotel ist für uns (Paar) mehr als 3 Sterne gewesen. Saubere und modern Zimmer die jeden Tag gereinigt werden. Dusche ist super! Zimmer sind nur etwas zu klein, aber man verbringen auch nicht den ganzen Tag dort.
Poolanlage ist auch gut, sauber, es gibt viele Liegemöglichkeiten und ein Handtuchservice.

Essen war in Ordnung, es gab viel Auswahl und es würde sich Mühe gegeben, jeden Tag was neues anzubieten.

Die Animation war total unnötig. Lässt es lieber komplett sein :)

God service, rent, frisk og varieret mad.

Super god ferie vi har haft. Hjælpsomt og sødt personale, virkelig god service. God og frisk mad. Mange variationer af maden. Mange aktiviteter i området. Og skønt sted at snorkle, da der ikke er lang til stranden. Gode shoppingmuligheder.
Eneste minus er, at der hver aften til klokken 23, er levende musik på scenen, det kan godt være lidt træls når man har børn med.

沒有電燒水壺，小冰箱還要租，沒有沙灘，只是海邊的堤壩。

房間設備簡陋，連基本的電燒水壺和小冰箱都沒有，30多度的溫度既然度假肯定需要冰箱，問前台才知道需要3歐一天租用，哈哈哈！租吧！網上說有沙灘，騙人的，只是海邊的堤壩前放了幾張沙灘椅，不值這個價位。
