My room was okay. The front desk was terrible. Could not understand English. I reported that my phone on my desk in room 209 did not work. I was told by the lady, in broken English, that I could not call outside the hotel. I was very frightened. The pool was closed. I was initially told the pool was out of season. At a separate time. I was told the pool was closed due to a chemical imbalance, but it should open in a few days. The pool remained closed. The sun was out, and nowhere to sit. Not one person in the cafe during breakfast spoke English. No communication in the hotel.
Upon leaving alone, I tried to have the front desk call me an Uber. No one would help me. My 5-day stay was miserable. I will never stay in a Comfort Inn again. You must improve for white American citizens.

Stayed twice before with family and no issues, always had great stay start to finish. On this occasion, I experienced a very rude receptionist at check-in and check-out (same person) who was not courteous at all and spoke with a negative tone, almost zero communication. Only ask for phone number used on the prepaid reservation, then no communication for a long time, then gave me the room key and said he is charging $50 to the card in the event there is damage to the room (Never was told this previously, is this a new policy?) I still see the pending charge on my American Express (Please check to insure this is not charged and if so, that it is returned to the card). The gentlemen quit helping me at check-in and started helping someone else while I was waiting for my key. Please look up who helped me on arrival and departure and communicate my concerns with your employee. The Two Bed Suite we stayed in had some problem with lighting as it was very dim and the TV did not work but we did not have much time in the hotel as needed to arrive at a scheduled event soon after check-in and did not take time to address these issues. I was wondering if I had been given this room on purpose. Certainly did not appreciate my experience by your employee who represented the face of your business.

Day 1 only 1 elevator was working. Day 2 both elevators were out of service. Had to carry all our luggage down the stairs from the 3rd floor. Rooms and bathroom are very dim. The rooms only use lamps not actual lights on the ceiling.

The fitness room was closed. After paying for the hotel room through Expedia, the hotel still charged an additional fee because it was booked through Expedia. It was extremely noisy from highway traffic. I went down to the front desk at midnight to get ear plugs and they said they did not have any so it was a night without sleep.

My 5-day stay at Comfort Suites Arlington was a mix of fair, poor, & awful. The 1st night, I was unable to sleep at all due to the loud traffic noise emitted from Hwy. I-30, that appeared to be less than 100 yds. from the hotel. My request for another room was denied, as it was reported that "all rooms were occupied or reserved for incoming guests." I left the Desk Clerk with him knowing I was not happy. That afternoon, he knocked on my door and told me that had found a way where he could move me to my choice of 2 rooms. I selected a room that was located on the same floor as my original room and found that it was absolutely devoid of any loud traffic noise. However, though being quiet, the new room had its problems. The bathroom was very poorly lit and the bed mattress was so soft that, after back pain set in, I was forced to sleep on the sofa, with its firm seat cushions. The one element of my stay that was, at least, ok, was the complementary breakfast buffet. At $100 per night, this hotel is never going to get my business again.

First of all the staff, they were on their job of guest services- personable yet very professional. I witnessed them dealing with unfriendly guests with grace and a smile on their face and also with me getting to know them kindly and they addressed both very well. The facilities were clean and the amenities were helpful. The rooms were comfortable and quiet, despite the fact that they were very near to capacity.

The first room smelled very bad, and the toilet did not work. They switched us to a different room, but the smell was even worse. We asked for an air freshener and they said they did not have anything like that. We went to the convenience store nearby and used literally half a can of febreeze just to make it tolerable. Do not recommend this hotel at all.

Room was good and very roomy. The bathroom had tile coming up, only had the vanity lights as the only source of light so there wasn’t light in the shower, and the showers were cold. The first morning, there was a super limited amount of breakfast options and no coffee (I understand the hotel was busy, but they could prepare for that) so we didn’t even try eating there the second morning. One of the two elevators was working so there was always a long wait and people in line.
Other than that, staff was friendly. And the parking lot and area seemed safe. Great location.

Room was nice and clean. No hot water though, beds too low to the ground, couldn’t keep the sheet on the bed kept popping off every time we turned to the sides. And we literally roll in sink in the middle of the bed.
We had no tv in the other room we rented and it didn’t have hot water as well. Tenant told me there was nothing they could do about the tv the first night. I asked them to charge each room to a different credit card just to get the points they took the card but it was still taken off just one card. Come to find out the tenant used the other card for like accessories if needed. It wasn’t needed.

Staff was pleasant. The hotel is in rough shape with poor repairs along the halls. Water temp is mid but warm enough to work and smelled of mildew or dirt . Bed is soft however, cheap sheets and very hot comforter. Bath tile is stained around toilet (can only imagine) room wasn’t dirty but didn’t feel clean. The ac unit is original to the hotel and sounds like it. Wakes you up each activation. Breakfast was horrible but free so…

So overall, it worked for what we needed. Quick stay to pick up our puppy and head home. Would be good for magic mtn trip and cheap way to stay mostly comfortable. We used these types as a young parents and it always worked. But don’t go if you want a couples stay in a nice place.

I stayed there for the game at AT&T and it was great they offered a shuttle (through a 3rd party).

I hate to be negative, so I'll lead with the cleaning staff was pleasant in every encounter, other than that, I have little positive to say about this place.

The gym is a waste of space, everything is broken except the free weights, our room had wall damage in several places, the bathroom door handle was broken, their convenience store/nook had little to nothing available, literally empty fridges and empty shelves, each morning for their breakfast they were out of stock of something, no waffle mix, no covers for coffee cups, etc. Asked for a late checkout, the guy said 1pm is complimentary, or can pay for 2pm, "just ask the morning of he said". Asked the morning of, 1230pm was the latest available - can't do any later. During our stay, the elevator also broke, and we were on the 4th floor. Location-wise, it's kind of tucked back a little ways and wasn't as convenient as we thought it was going to be. All in all, I wouldn't stay here again.

Couple things were not the best. Asked for extra soap at front desk and told they did not have any. Something splashed behind couch from a previous guest and was not pleasant to see. Plate around shower knob was loose, and bathroom door stuck. Not the best of lighting in the room. We have stayed at another hotel chain many times with much more friendly staff and felt very welcome when checking in. This front desk person didn't even inform where and when breakfast was which typically is done at other places when checking in. Can't say as I would stay here again.

The property is a short walk or drive to AT&T Stadium, and the main reason we chose this location. Rooms were spacious and the property overall was in good shape. The onsite fitness room had broken machines, they did provide a free pass to a local fitness center but didn’t have time to go elsewhere.

Check in along with assistance from front desk was lacking in expectations. Checked in on Sunday and breakfast area was out of coffee until Friday. When I asked when coffee would be available the hope was Thursday since I was advised management wants to use normal source for order instead of picking up local which to me showed lack of customer service. One afternoon the fire alarm was going off and found no real problem which the audio alarm was turned off that afternoon however the strobe lights for the alarm were not turned off until after 10pm which I was unable to check on over the phone with no one answering and not helpful information from staff in person.

I've stayed here very frequently over the last 11 years and even once earlier this Spring. It has been a wonderful hotel. Unfortunately, it is no longer. Per the desk jockey the hotel is under new management. So now we get one working elevator with obvious patchwork bolts and staples where there should be none, stains on the hallway carpets, marks and dents on the walls of the hallways and a subpar breakfast (which used to be spectacular). Lastly, the air conditioning was very loud as was the outside noise from I30. It's like the soundproofing has just disappeared.

The topper? And this is where I really get irked. They charged me a $4.68 "hotel service" fee which the desk jockey could not prescribe a reason for other than "new management". Nor could he tell me what if I was owed any kind of extra perk during my stay due to the fee. Keep in mind, my reservation had been paid for in advance so there should be no extra charges. I get some hotels have an incidental fee that is refunded. This was not that. A discussion with another patron confirmed my thoughts and she too said she is unsure what the service fee is for.

Overall, I am disappointed to see this hotel become "average" - if it is even that. Not sure that I will bother with this hotel again because it was my favorite in the area. Now it's just full of disappointment.

The room was dark, even the bathroom. The air conditioning didn’t work right. Bottom sheet wouldn’t stay on and the mattress pad under sheet was too small and so it bunched up and made the bed uncomfortable. Breakfast was cold( there at 6:30). Road construction in front of hotel, didn’t make it easy to navigate. The shower water didn’t get hot and not enough pressure to actually spray on you. Not a good place to stay and will not go back again.
