Fantastic hotel in Buenos Aires

Had a great one night stay here in the Belgrano area. Wish I had booked this hotel early on in our trip. Didn’t have a chance to walk around as was passing through for one night only. The room was spacious and had a kettle to make tea. Very nice breakfast.

Hoping to Return

Ker Belgrano is located in a lovely residential neighborhood offering museums and parks, just a short ride from other attractions. They were helpful and welcoming upon arrival. They are used to observant Jews who need help with the air conditioning or lights. They even stored our luggage for the day when we checked out. Hoping to return, and will definitely stay there again.

A functional hotel that is well located. Nothing fancy. Will not do for romantic settings or any kind of special occasions. The TV and cable system did not work. Beds were OK, bathroom was clean. You get what you pay for.

KER is NOT an apart hotel or spa. That was just an ugly room in a very bad location.
It has a kitchen, but you can't cook (no stove or any other equipment than a microwave) , it only has one bed with an small table and very poor internet connection. Breakfast was average. I asked for food to my room one night and the food was horrible. We weren't able to eat it at all.
For the same price you can find something a LOT better. I found a better place in a better location after staying in KER for 3 nights ( I stayed because Expedia didn't allow me to change my reservation).
Just look for something else, you will find something better for the same price or the same for a lower price. The only positive found was the receptionist, Celeste, she was very helpful and nice.

I stayed at the Ker Apart Hotel for just one night and I wish I had stayed more! It was such a nice, clean, spacious room with great air conditioning, great flat screen TV with many channels including multiple movie channels and multiple sports channels and a very comfortable bed. The kitchenette was incredibly useful. I heated up empanadas (6 for 140 pesos at a local supermarket!) in the room's microwave. All this for a great value.

Staff was uncooperative. They didnt speak English.

Hotel is very old structured. No clean towels. No soaps. Overall it was a disaster, I wouldn't stay there ever again. Not recommended to non Spanish speakers as staff doesn't speak in English nor they understand English.

The rooms are comfortable. Service for the room across the weekends was not consistent. Towels may not be changed. Bed linens were changed twice over a stay of 16 days. There are no facial tissues offered but you can remedy that by purchasing some at a local store. Be very careful with laundry - they mis-delivered my laundry to the wrong room twice and lost half a batch of laundry that they never found. And the laundry service can take from two to four days.

Celeste at the front desk was so helpful with some things I needed to process in Buenos Aires. Their system for processing documents is a bit complex, so she went out of her way to help me figure it all out. For that I will be always greatful.
I was on family business visiting my il father. When I mentioned this to Sarah, one of the Cleaning ladies, she was so concerned and listened to me, offered comfort. The next day she knocked on my door just to ask about my dad. That touched my heart. I will never forget her kindness.

One elevator that can hold up to three people.
Noisy rooms. The walls are too thin and you can hear people talking in the phone, in their rooms, their alarm clock, the TV, anything.
The rooms are very small ant their bathrooms are also very small.
The sheets stay on the bed the whole stay, never get changed.
The breakfast serving is all right.
The help desk will not extend help if needed. If your plane got delayed, there are no accommodations or flexibility on their part, no extensions, no courtesy. It is what it is.
Their hotel in Recolecta is even worst. Beds are very unconfortable, you feel the springs in their mattresses. Rooms are even smallers than in Belgrano.

Good value for money option close to UBA

I stayed at Ket hotel due to its proximity to the University of Buenos Aires. Around this area, I think it is a good value for money option. There are also restaurants and other shops close. Free internet Wifi, a spacious room and a basic but ok breakfast completed the deal. The girl at reception, Celeste, is very nice to talk to.

Pleasing hotel, max 3 out of 5 no more

This hotel is well located in a busy suburb of Belgrano in Buenos Aires, far from the city center but great for us where our relatives live. The streets around are in a very bad condition but the hotel is clean and nice.

However, the bathroom is tiny, the mini-bar is poorly socked and the breakfast is monotonous, no daily cheese or meat cuts except on Saturday! Eggs of any form are never served for breakfast in Argentinian hotels, just cakes ans pastry.

The staff are wonderful, helpful and cheerful, particularly Celeste, a young woman who is is a credit to the hotel.

There is nobody to help with luggage. The rate is very competitive if purchased through Expedia with a booked airfare.

We stayed here 2 years ago and returned. There are a limited number of hotels in this area of Buenos Aires and we needed to stay near our Argentine family apartment
The hotel and room were clean, but really, really needs updating.
Base boards along the floor were chipped and need painting.
There is not mattress pad and the bottom sheet does not fully cover the king mattress.
There was adequate hot water, but the bathroom is quite small.
Three our of four front desk hotel staff was pleasant and helpful. One gentleman never cracked a smile and was not helpful when we pointed out we had difficulty making a call to the hotel while we were out one afternoon.
While there are balconies, the ones in the rear remind you of the movie \"Rear Window\".
It was an OK place to sleep.

The location and staff make this hotel a great option. You can find cafes, bars, plazas, great food, movies, and metro access all within a few blocks. The mellow leafy Belgrano neighborhood is a great place to stay. Breakfast was fine and the spa is extremely relaxing after a long flight.

Was a little further from the airport than expected but I think the taxi driver took the long way around. Beds were very comfy. Stayed here just for one night before and early morning flight the next morning. Was here with my family (2 kids and hubby).

Nice hotel but in need of updating

We spent two weeks in this hotel and on the whole we enjoyed it, but on the first day we had to ask to be moved to a different room after we were given a small and terribly deteriorated one. The new one was OK, but the bathroom needs to be updated and thoroughly cleaned. The same applies to the bed and TV. The stuff on the other hand was very friendly and kind. We became friendly with people at the reception and we even would like to see them again!
The location of the hotel is not central, but very close to the inexpensive underground line (metro), so it was easy to get to the centre of Buenos Aires. Living for two weeks in the very lively and busy Belgrano we felt that we were amongst the real Argentinians; not just amongst tourists. We hope that Ker Belgrano Hotel will be renovated soon because we would like to stay there again one day.

Nice hotel, nice staff, problems: shower & wifi

Mi stay in Ker Belgrano was good! Very well located. Staff were really nice. The main two problems that I had were that the hotel ran out of water, so there was no water in any bathroom (they explained it was due to a wedding, that everybody in the hotel was having a shower at the same time before the wedding) and that internet connection wasn't good at all. I have to ask to reset the modem twice and they were please to do it and ti started working...

nice hotel in a nice location

the hotel is in a residential neighborhood, which is perfect for finding a place to do your laundry. the building is very secure - you need to be buzzed in and there is always someone on duty. best part is that the hotel is near a metro station, so you can wander into the heart of buenos aires without having to take a cab.

really good option in belgrano neighborhood

i used to live 3 blocks from this hotel, so know the neighborhood pretty well. nice, quiet, but with good access to public transportation. my family lives in buenos aires, so i knew i would be around belgrano and palermo 'hoods. if you are going for business or needing to go downtown, may not be the best option. but a really good option, as a comfortable, friendly, quiet and non pretending hotel for a good enough price.

While the front desk staff was not completely fluent, their knowledge of English was good enough, and their understanding of the restaurants and local area was excellent.Would definitely return to this hotel - close to metro (less than 1 block), restaurants, shopping, etc. - seemed to be a safe neighborhood (just don't leave anything in your back pockets and be cautious.)

Nice little hotel

Nice little budget hotel one block from a major artery in the heart of Belgrano. Our room was in the back and had everything we needed. Not everything is brand new, but it was very servicable. The concierge/front desk managers were great. We stayed for a week and were content with the accomodations, but were exceptionally please with the service of the three young managers. They were pleasant, polite, professional, and personable. The hotel is located one block from the end of the green line subway. There is a gym,market, laundry, and pizza place within one block. We stayed along with three other small families who all liked it as much as we did. If we went again, I'd stay with this hotel because the rest of our group's family stayed at another hotel a few blocks away and it had bedbugs!!!

Estuvimos una noche, apenas unas horas y al intentar bañarnos la cañería estaba dañada y se inundó todo el cuarto. El conserje se movió muy bien y nos cambió a las 3 am y logramos bañarnos, pero el hotel está descuidado para el costo que tiene hoy en día.

El hotel se encuentra en remodelación y hacían ruidos a las a las 7 am y a las 12 de la noche, imposible descansar.
Durante el día todo el día ruido y no podías tomar llamadas de trabajo, literalmente tuve que ir al starbucks a trabajar porque era más tranquilo que mi habitación.
Mi habitación tenía la luz mala, y después de 4 días de avisarlo, vinieron a las 7 am a arreglarla sin previo aviso tocando a golpes mi puerta.
La comida del desayuno era malísima, sin reposición. A las 9 am solo había pan y mantequilla. Nos dijeron que como era temporada alta había que llegar más temprano.
Cuando almorzamos, no nos trajeron cubiertos, nuestras bebidas no llegaron y no tenían sistema para pagar, así que debía esperar 30 minutos para poder pagar.
Al momento del check out, pido comprobante de factura, y además de todos los problemas que tuve, me dicen que me habían cobrado mal y que debía pagar más.
Luego de no poder descansar, de tener un equipo mal educado, comida pésima y servicio deplorable y habitaciones sin luz, tienen el descaro de cobrarte propina?
Una real vergüenza para esta cadena y me encargaré de aconsejar a todos que no se hospeden en este lugar, que no es económico además….

Hola la idea de ir a un hotel es pagar comodidad y descansar. llegamos al hotel pasaron diferente situaciones.

1. No había papel higiénico ( tuvismo que ir a pedirlo en la recepción).

2.Había TV no era Smart ( era muy vieja) no había entretenimiento. 3 canales literalmente

3. El desayuno bueno .. pero no cumplía con el horario
( había una persona como pasando notas ).

4. El personal deja mucho que desear. no son muy amable.

Boa. O café da manhã é OK, mas não tem nada a ser elogiado. Frutas meio passadas sao servidas diariamente. Sempre as mesmas coisas. Nao é terrivel, mas tb nao tem nada para ser elogiado. A acomodação é boa, espaçosa, simples, mas aconchegante. O 7o andar (o ultimo) é um forno. Tem ar condicionado, mas um tanto quanto dificil de resfriar o quarto por igual pois só existe um aparelho em um dos cantos do quarto. Enfim, pelo preço e pelo bairro, vale a pena, mas fuja do ultimo andar e nao espere muito do hotel

Leider wurde ich sehr kurzfristig in der ersten Nacht ausquartiert und erst am Tage meiner Anreise darüber informiert. Dadurch hatte ich Zusatzkosten für den bestellten Transfer vom Airport zum Hotel zu tragen, weil das Ersatzhotel 15 km entfernt lag.
Ansonsten freundliches hilfsbereites Personal, leider nicht alle Englisch sprechend.

La atencion es regular, dependiendo de quien este en el turno.
hay voluntad, pero falta profesionalismo.
Por ejemplo a la hora del desayuno, en el salon que se realiza el mismo se pasa la aspiradora y se procede a la limpieza de los baños.
Las fotos son demasiados buenas con respecto a lo que despues nos encontramos.
El tema de un solo ascensor es un inconveniente, lo utiliza tambien el personal de limpieza. lo que hace mas complicado el subir y bajar, en especial por la mañana.
Como positivo la ubicacion.
