The friendliness of the owner and staff were a stand out at this lovely boutique hotel. In addition the breakfast had so many yummy things, from homemade yogurt and granola to scrambled eggs or Argentine the favorite pan dulce. The small pool on the top terrace was lovely for cooling off. The king bed was super comfortable. I would highly recommend this adorable hotel with it’s excellent location.

The room was really charming and very clean! I found out that the owner is French, so it makes sense that the design/decor is beautiful! The breakfast is good, and the hotel is very convenient for walking around Palermo (safe neighborhood!) The staff (Cecile) was always there to buzz me in or assist me. I will definitely stay here again and recommend to friends/family. Merci beaucoup!

The hotel, overall, was very impressive. It was clean and well staffed. They offered a very nice breakfast. The location was perfect and close to Palermo area. The rooftop was very inviting, however, the pool that’s advertised is more like a Jacuzzi. But, nonetheless, perfect with a great view. We had a junior suite and ordered twin beds. The room was quiet. The only problems I had with the room was there was not one chair to sit in. If you needed to set, you had to sit on one of the beds. The other issue was in the bathroom. Even though it had a huge imprrrssive Jacuzzi bathtub and a nice rainhead shower, there was no lighting for the hanging mirror above the vanity. It was very hard for me to see to even shave, so I don’t know how women would apply their make up. In addition, there’s a window behind the mirror, which makes it even harder to see with the back lighting. They could really make a difference if they could just attach some lights to the hanging oval mirror and add a couple of chairs to sit in. I’m not sure what the other rooms are like because it’s a smaller hotel– almost like a bed-and-breakfast so each one may be different from the other. The safe in the room did not work well and ended up not responding to our Code and we were given a key to get in and out of it. I would recommend this hotel but I would ask about the lighting and furniture before booking. As an additional note, the staff was amazing and very welcoming..

I wish I could give five stars for a review because the staff was so amazing but I can’t help but mention the loud elevator function while we were trying to sleep on the 3rd floor. There is something seriously wrong with the elevator and it sounded like it was going to crash through our wall every time it stopped on our floor. Some very loud and strange sounds. If they are unaware of this issue, I’m sure they are now. But it’s literally impossible not to hear it.
Maybe some maintenance is in order.

I highly recommend a stay at the Rendez-Vous hotel in Palermo, Buenos Aires.

It’s a calm, stylish place in a lovely part of the city. The room was kept spotless each day by the wonderful staff, the bed was super comfortable, and the room was nice and ambient.

The owners are sophisticated, worldly and kind-hearted professionals. They run a great ship here.

Breakfast each morning is fresh and made and presented with care. And you have the backdrop of a stylish interior with soothing music playing in the background.

Everything I needed was there, and it was set out with simple good taste.

Great Location, Decent Hotel

Hotel is in a great location to wonderful restaurants and bars in BA, but the hotel staff were either really helpful or not helpful at all. Rooms are small but ample, nice big showers. That said, my friend who was staying in another room said he could hear every movement of the elevator from his room 24 hours a day, and he actually had to change rooms after one night.

The mattress was no good then in the second unit that they put us in the water pressure was almost 0 the elevator was loud throughout the night and then they had construction above us starting at 4 AM. The worst experience we've ever had. We moved on to a new location.

Tremendous boutique hotel in a quaint neighborhood. The owner and staff provide a very welcoming and enjoyable experience. The rooms are nicely appointed and comfortable. The rooftop deck and hot tub are great with good views.

There are many great restaurants, coffee shops and bakeries in close proximity and easily walkable.

If you are looking for a quiet, authentic experience this is the place. Great boutique hotel for a very fair price.

My first visit to Buenos Aires

The first hotel of my long trip and I certainly didn't better my stay here. Staff were very helpful and friendly and gave good local advice on where to go and some travel tips too. Also helped out when I was leaving as it was a public holiday that affected transport.
I don't speak Spanish but it was never a problem in the hotel as all staff were multi-lingual.
I had a nice room with a few nice touches that made it different from the norm.

The rendezvous is perfect for short stays in Buenos Aires. It’s a lovely old hotel in Palermo soho, a safe neighbourhood with loads of cafes and bars and easy access to tourist sights. Rooms are full of character, if a little small. Most staff were very friendly.

This hotel is in a great location with an incredibly helpful staff. They helped us with locating sights, getting us metro cards and offering suggestions of things to do. The hotel was very comfortable with large rooms and overall a great value. The only negative was the bed was not particularly comfortable.

Boutique hotel in Palermo Hollywood. The area has some restaurants and shops but not as many as Palermo Soho, more of a residential and business area. Some loud noises during the weekend since there is a bar/club nearby. We chose a room with a private balcony with hot tub, this really made the room special. Breakfast was brought to room each morning. Also the front desk personal were very helpful with suggestions.

Small boutique hotel in Palermo Hollywood

This is a small 11 bedroom boutique hotel in Palermo Hollywood. It is run by its owner and very helpful staff. The accommodation was bright and comfortable and done in good taste. Our room (a junior suite room 41) had a separate open air jacuzzi.
Breakfast (8-10.30am) had a good selection on offer each day from continental to cooked and always well presented.

The hotel arranged a taxi from the Cruise line and to the airport for us. Check which currency the taxi accepts before climbing aboard (Pesos and/or dollars). Much less expensive option than DIY.

The hotel recommended a visit to a tango show and dinner. The show organisers arranged for collection by mini bus from a number of different hotels. We were early in the pick up. The show was very good. Payment takes place at the show. Pay in cash as credit cards attract a 20% premium.

A city tour had the same multi hotel pick up arrangement which can result in 1 hour plus collection before the tour itself commences. I would consider a taxi to and from the \"Eva Peron\" cemetery to link with the official hop on/hop off Tour bus were I to do it again.

The hotel recommended a selection of good enjoyable restaurants nearby

Shopping best done in Palermo about 400+m away.

I found the SYGIC app an excellent source of info for maps, points to see, tours etc. It covers all major cities.

Cool for a holiday break, not so convenient for a business stay. Room rather small and no table to work. Lack of international sockets to recharge cell phones and computers. Lovely croissants at breakfast and friendly staff. Slow elevators and poor control for shower hot-water. Very small closet to keep clothes.

Terrible experience

After the first night I woke up with no power, no water, no phone service, no Internet because to a partial power outage in the area. Apparently the situation start about midnight and at 7:30 am I came down thru the stairs and found one employee that was trying to explain the situation but he was absolutely along and not much to do. My big complaint is the timing for reaction of the management of the hotel. I ask for my full refund and moved to another hotel. Very sad experience.

Nice people, good breakfast. Rooms small, very hot (a/c turned off and unit didn't cool room until morning) and flying cockroaches in room (we were given a new room). Bathroom not well supplied: One small soap so had to use for both sink/hands and shower. Bath towel but no washcloths. Toilet seat broken.
It was pricey so they need to get basics down.

Wonderful place to stay in Palermo, felt like home

I had a great stay here this past November. The hotel only has a dozen or so rooms so you get to know the hotel staff who went absolutely out of their way to help us. Directions, recommendations, trip bookings; they helped with everything. It's a great location to explore Palermo and the city , only a 15 min walk to the subway and a good place to come back to after a hard day exploring. The lobby is cozy and inviting to hang out in and have a glass of wine and the rooms were clean and well decorated in a Victorian/ modern style. As mentioned before the hotel staff was amazing in particular Lionel and Adeline who made us feel right at home. When I return to BA I'd definitely stay here and recommend others do the same.

It was a great experience!

We were 3 people and it was our first time in Argentina. And I really wanted that my mother's first international trip was a success. I'm glad she and we all were really happy with the hotel. Everyday we had a wonderful breakfast. The staff was so helpful and so nice to us. The place is great for pictures and close to lots of restaurants. We stayed a week there.

A Great Place to Stay in Palermo

We feel very lucky to have found this place since it made our stay in the city much more enjoyable. Upon arrival you could see the attention to detail in the small courtyard leading to the reception. Leo and Federico (aka my best friend for all his wonderful tips) run the hotel efficiently and take great care that all your needs are met at all times. Service is impeccable, from luggage storage upon arrival and departure, area maps with guides and their own expert recommendations (which all turned out to be excellent, by the way), a/c, free in-room wifi with very decent signal and speed, in-room safe, airport transfers and free breakfast with amazing medias lunas con manteca (croissants with butter), pan aux chocolat, juice, coffe, tea, eggs, fruit, yogurt and more. The room we stayed at on the first floor was a little small but very quiet and comfortable. The bathroom on the other hand was larger and very well stocked with toiletries. The temperature control in the shower is a little funky since after about 30 seconds of the hot water running it suddenly gets hotter. However we got used to this very quickly. Palermo is perhaps the trendiest part of BsAs with bars, cafes and restaurants on every corner so you won't have to go far to find something to do. Before going out, however, always talk to the staff about your plans. They will help you better plan your visits and most likely recommend some other things to make your trips more enjoyable.

Buenos Aires is unsafe

The staff all spoke English and were very helpful. They Recomended we don't walk through the La Boca area which we chose to ignore. Unfortunately we were robbed at gunpoint in broad daylight, with another local couple. We cut our trip short by a week and took the next flight home. Buenos Aires is a dangerous place. I would stay away.

Wouldn't stay here again

From other reviews I had high expectations for this hotel however when we got there were disappointed. The rooms were very small, and there was basically no hallway so we could hear all our neighbors which made for unrestful night sleeps. The rooms were decorated in fun/colorful ways, however their size led to being uncomfortable in the space. The place had a hostel feel rather than a hotel. I wouldn't stay there again.

Unique and fun design, great staff and location

Located in Palermo Hollywood, this boutique hotel was our favorite in a three week trip to Argentina. All the others were fine-to-terrrific, but this 11(?) room boutique has it all. Brilliant location in the ultra-hip sections of Palermo, funky trompe l'oeil murals and unique furniture, very comfortable bed, a large bathroom with a great shower, access to a roof top patio with views, and a small ground level garden. Built and run by a Frenchman named Fred, whom we didn't meet, it was staffed by three young and friendly French women, all of whom spoke English and Spanish as well. They were very helpful with all of our needs. We will stay here when we (hopefully) return to BA.

In one word - WOW

We had read other reviews and based our stay off this - amazing boutique hotel. I usually stay in the big chains, but they were priced too expensively in BA to make it worth my while, also not located in the lovely palermo area.

The atmosphere at the hotel was great. The french owner was very friendly to us, and appears that a lot of the staff speak french. 2 lovely ladies helped us throughout our stay in addition to the owner who helped scan some documents etc

If the owner is reading this the first lady helped us for the first 2 nights with our restaurant choices. Campbravo was amazing, and by showing the card the hotel gave us we ended up with 2 free glasses of champage each!

The second lady made no hassle of booking us a remis at the end of the trip and also giving us general info about the area. Both were extremely helpful and really felt like friends right from the get go.

Disappointing venue and owner's attitude

Photo of hotel suggests a larger residence. Hotel is actually very narrow: breakfast room is part of lobby and elevator is small and very slow. Bathroom was lovely; the one synthetic pillow provided was lumpy and uncomfortable; only half a roll of toilet paper in room; the one two inch bar of soap smelled wonderful. Room 13 opens onto walls. The linens and upholstery are tired and require cleaning properly. Breakfast was a disaster: burnt croissants; a tepid choco-coffee mix without froth when cappuccino was ordered; tasteless, airless omelet. On providing the male owner (?) with our feedback, he offered to replace the breakfast, but we were too aggravated and had no time. His inappropriate and arrogant retort to our complaints was to apologize, but to say that if his hotel was one of the poorer ones we had ever stayed in, we have been very lucky! Touche, but inappropriate and unprofessional.

Good hotel, Great Location, Better Staff!

Very good small hotel- staff was so great! In a walkable part of BsAs near many good restaurants. We traveled with our cat due to a move to Argentina and the staff was amazingly accommodating, even allowing us early check in (with prior coordination) after a red-eye flight. There is only one person working reception at a time but every one of them is willing to help with directions, recommendations, reservations, taxis, currency exchange or special requests. They seem to be trilingual (French, English, Spanish) and were very helpful when our safe malfunctioned on the first day. The only issue with comfort was the hot water was not very hot in the sink or shower, but after we informed them they turned it up and by the last day it was as you would expect.

Beautiful hotel and room, all very clean and modern at very reasonable rates. Very friendly and helpful staff, full of good information and great suggestions. Great location. We are definitely staying there again when we return!!

Charming small hotel - great location

Lovely, small, hip hotel walking distance from boutiques, cafés, rest. and night life. My favorite area of Buenos Aires. Staff was extremely helpful and breakfasts are generous and very good.
I would definitely recommend this small hotel.

Room 22 is over-the-top outstanding!

We were on the way elsewhere and could only stay one night. It was a perfect place for our needs, and the room was unbelievable: the huge balcony with furniture and a large jacuzzi helped us unwind after a long day of travel. This is a very funky hotel in a unique and beautiful old home; nice artistic touches throughout. The room itself was small, but not if you include the balcony which was larger than the room. If the other rooms are half as wonderful as 22, you are in for a treat.

Great hotel and extremely helpful staff

Hotel located in one of the hottest areas in Buenos Aires. Hotel is very new and rooms are comfortable and clean. Staff are very helpful in helping guests navigate the city, arrange soccer games and answer questions. Would certainly stay there again.

Lovely boutique hotel in great location

We enjoyed our stay at this charming, well run hotel. Great location in a trendy, fun neighborhood. Rooms individually designed were charming. Service personal and very helpful especially from the hotel owner (slightly less good from the other staff). Only real criticism was lack of storage in bedroom.

Excellent boutique hotel in Palermo

I stayed here for just 1 night while in transit. The hotel is excellent, well maintained and well worth the price. It is not near major tourist attractions, but is in a good neighborhood with many amazing restaurants, especially many vegetarian/vegan restaurants of Buenos Aires. The metro is a 10 - 12 minute walk which will connect you to all the tourist attractions in Buenos Aires.

Great little hotel

Staffs were friendly, rooms are nice. You can tell that this hotel made an effort from room decorations to how it treats customers. Unlike many of the hotels we've stayed in South Amercia as part of a 3 weeks trip, this one care about services! They spoke good English which is great.

A good 15 mins walk to the subway otherwise a £3 - £4 taxi to the nearset subway station. Subway is great and cheap to get to the central locations and sights. Around the hotel itself is a fab area for restaurants and bars so not bad at all if you want to plan a few night outs. Many places are hip and chill out which is how we like it!

A suíte é aconchegante mas a cama King tinha uma falha bem no meio que sacrificava as costas de quem caía nela, contudo o colchão é macio e a roupa de cama muito agradável ao toque.
A paredes em torno da banheira apresentavam manchas e mofo no teto, mas a hidromassagem funcionava bem e era bem quente e relaxante.
Os funcionários da manhã eram muito prestativos, simpáticos e cordiais, especialmente o Frederick e a funcionária do café da manhã que sempre oferecia e preparava ovos fritos.
Um ponto de destaque para as medialunas deliciosas e a playlist maravilhosa tocada no café-da-manhã.
Porém, havia um funcionário no turno da noite que era antipático, mal-humorado e estressado, além de demorar uma eternidade para abrir a porta quando chegávamos nas noites frias.
O elevador faz muito barulho tanto durante o uso para quem está dentro, quanto durante a noite para quem está no quarto.
Entre pontos positivos e negativos, eu recomendo o hotel e repetiria a estadia lá.

Lille, meget stille hotel. God beliggenhed. Desværre var vores værelse ikke så rent, der var fyldt med lange mørke hår på gulvet. Morgenmaden var fin, bortset fra kaffen som var alt for tynd.
