A great base to explore Buenos Aires

Clean, well-designed room. Good breakfast choices. Comfortable bed and good shower pressure. Super-friendly and helpful staff. Could do with some coat hooks and fewer lamps in room. Built-in hairdryer tricky to use as too low down. Overall a great base in a safe and lively part of the city

The Home Hotel: My Home Away from Home in Buenos Aires
The Home Hotel is truly my home away from home whenever I visit Buenos Aires. From arrival to departure, this warm, boutique hotel offers everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay.
The rooms are small and cozy, with well-appointed bathrooms, soft sheets, and fluffy towels. Everything is always spotless and thoughtfully prepared. But what really sets the Home Hotel apart is the exceptional staff. Always greeting you with a smile and a warm welcome, they go out of their way to help with anything—big or small.
The hotel is located in a trendy neighborhood within walking distance to great restaurants, cafés, and bars. If you have time for a massage at their spa, ask for Louis in the spa—he’s incredible!

Great staff and location but we found the concrete stylenof the hotel very sterile. Breakfast was poor with no buffet as advertised. All ordered from a minimum menunof eggs. Dont advertise what you are not offering.

Wish I could stay longer

I very rarely leave reviews but this was such a great stay I had to. Lovely location, in cool Palermo surrounded by contemporary bars and restaurants. Fantastic hospitality. A complimentary upgrade and bottle of wine. Wonderful breakfast in the serene patio area.

While the facilities were lovely and the location was everything I wanted it to be, the staff really made the stay. They were so extraordinarily kind and helpful. They remembered my name and what I had planned. They gave tons of recommendations and helped me arrange a visit to a local tango show as well. They really go above and beyond and I can't say enough about what a lovely time I had here thanks to them.

We felt so welcome at this hotel from arrival. I had my birthday on day 3 of our stay and all the staff remembered and wished me happy birthday! It really was like being at ‘home’.
Good location in Palermo Hollywood, easy to walk around both the Palermo areas. Room was basic but clean and spacious.

2nd time staying , and I will stay again. The staff are friendly, the rooms are very spacious. The restaurant service are excellent. Maybe a TV upgrade, and full king or queen size mattress l. I don’t like the division on the bed to made it King.

Felt just like home, comfortable, cozy and relaxed. The outdoor patio area is absolutely gorgeous with greenery everywhere and blooming flowers. The complimentary breakfast is nice with fresh fruit juice and pastries. The pool side suite is lovely with antique wall paper, a jacuzzi bath, and terrace with a fireplace.

This hotel is a beautiful boutique property where the service is impeccable. There are only about 20 rooms and it feels like a home away from home. The immediate area of Palmero is more of an artsy community with no-nonsense restaurants/bars with a great neighbourhood feel. It's a bit off the beaten path but more of an experience of local culture. Highly recommend it. We had the pool side suite with a fireplace on the patio and that room was amazing.

A Home away from Home

A fantastic little green and lush oasis in Palermo's hip and restaurant dense quarter's. The Home Hotel felt like my own home, away from home. The whole staff is super friendly and start calling you by your name the first day, this goes from the concierge to the restaurant. The breakfast is great, the pool area and the whole back yard makes you relax and the spa section downstairs is also great. The rooms are very tidy, beds are great and the interior is minimalistically chic. Just the fact that you can communicate via WhatsApp with the concierge if you want to get some real time tips or recommendations, gives you the feeling as if you get the best local service possible when I was visiting. I will come back for sure!

The most charming place we have ever stayed at. Friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast spread in the morning and the rooms were amazing! A lot of effort has gone into this hotel and it shows. Close to shops and restaurants. Will definitely stay again when we are in Buenos Aires. 5 stars!

Great Boutique Hotel. Warm friendly staff.

We enjoyed everything about Home Hotel. It has warmth and charm and is clean and has a great sense of design. But mostly, everyone is very friendly and accommodating. They make it all feel like 'home.'! We look forward to our next stay!

My favourite hotel ever.

This is my favourite hotel in the world. I have stayed there four times and love everything about it. The welcome, the service, the ambience, the room, everything is just lovely. It's difficult to quantify because it is by no means a luxury hotel, but the whole atmosphere is so warm and welcoming.It's privately owned and the owners are there nearly every day making sure everything is going well.

Great time had at home hotel. Area is brilliant for pubs and restaurants. Hotel is quirky, with lovely staff. Bedroom was good size, v comfortable bed and a good strong shower. Breakfast could do with a bit more variety but still a nice selection of pastries.

My wife and I recently spent 3 nights at the Home Hotel. It was a great experience overall. The entire staff was great. Check-in was perfect and the front desk always had a good recommendation for things to do, or places to eat. The pool and patio area was very comfortable to have a glass of wine in the evening. Bar service was very good and reasonable price wise. We had the hotel arrange an airport transfer for us and it worked out perfectly…no issues. We stayed in one of the suites, the one at the front of the building. Worth the extra bucks. The bathroom was large and the shower was one of the best we’ve ever had in a hotel. We had a nice patio/terrace to sit out on and enjoy the afternoon or evening. The breakfast was terrific. The shot glass servings were very unique and very tasty. Always a little different fruit or juice each day. The location is perfect. Easy walking to a variety of great restaurants. If we’re ever back in BA we will definitely stay at the Home Hotel again.

Amazing oasis in Palermo

I LOVED the Home hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful (and had a great custom guidebook/map), and the property and rooms are stunning. It had everything you could want: clean, super comfortable room, nice pool to relax by, tasty breakfast, and great location walkable to shops and restaurants. My only suggestion to them is to get a few more lounge chairs by the pool, there were only 3 and all were being used while I was there!

The staff at this hotel in Buenos Aires are outstanding. Nothing is too much trouble and the name is apt as the entrance and staff do make you feel comfortable from the moment you arrive. Breakfast is good and the location is excellent for exploring Palermo and the taxis are inexpensive for getting into town or you can walk 15 mins to a metro.
I booked the most basic room which was very clean and pleasant but was quite simple but again had a pleasant feel to it.
All in all thoroughly recommended.

Friendly place to stay while seeing Buenos Aires

We had a great 2 1/2 day stay at Home and despite the less than charitable weather ( it was heavily overcast one day and just pelted the next) we managed to see most of the sites we wanted to see. It is about a 15-20 minute hike to the closest subway to the centre of town and the hotel is in a absolutely great spot for dining and nightlife.

I stayed here for a long weekend with my boyfriend. Nothing is to much for the staff at the hotel, they were so accommodating and we did have a lot of questions. Breakfast is one of the best experiences I have had in a hotel, so personal and well thought through. Totally different and unique.
The location is great and its an easy walk to the busy bars and restaurants. We also had a long stroll into the centre towards all of the tourist attractions.

Gem of a hotel!

My daughter and I stayed at Home upon a friend's recommendation, for 5 nights, at the end of our stay in Buenos Aires. I cannot say enough about how wonderful this hotel is... the staff were super friendly, knowledgable, gave GREAT recommendations, were able to arrange for us to buy tickets with a guide to the South American cup match with the River! ( a true highlight experience), anything we asked for, we were accommodated!
Not to mention the delicious, thoughtful breakfasts, lovely pool and garden area... an overall idyllic stay. My only concern is if HOME gets the fabulous reviews they deserve, it will be impossible to get a reservation there!

We stayed four nights and the staff was fantastic as was the food. They have a very good breakfast and the best coffee in the neighborhood. It's also in the perfect location for exploring Palermo. The backyard is also quiet romantic. The only thing that could have been better was the mattress, but otherwise the room was everything we wanted.

Wonderful Staff, Good Advice

The Home Hotel staff were great. They helped us make reservations, gave us an amazing guide book exclusive to the hotel, and helped us set up in-hotel spa treatments. The breakfast was perfect to start the day. We were steps away from some of our main highlights of Buenos Aires.

Safe area to stay and play!

I traveled by myself to Buenos Aires for the first time and chose Home Hotel through Expedia. What a gem! The hotel staff was very kind, the room was comfortable, and the location was perfecto! It is a very small hotel - about 20 rooms - but the service is very personalized. I highly recommend it!

O hotel pelas fotos, dão outra ideia, tem hotelna mesma localizacao, com o mesmo nivel por 1/3 do valor,o valor que esta sendo cobrado ,precisa melhorar bastante: toalhas, os quartos nao tem acustica , cafe da manha fornecer queijos, presunto etc , frutas, ao inves de salada de frutas etc melhorar a qualidade dos amenities( pessima qualidade)sem condicoes de uso.

Reclamei na recepção no primeiro dia de um problema no chuveiro e nada foi feito. No último dia não tinha água para banho, descarga, ou escovar os dentes!
A recepcionista Ari foi extremamente grosseira e desrespeitosa quando reclamei de novo.
Lamentável.
Café da manhã são duas torradas com meio copo de suco de laranja. Hotel não condiz com as resenhas do hotéis.com!
Bem simples e não vale o preço. A maioria dos funcionários é simpática, mas no geral o hotel tem muito que melhorar.
Não ficaria de novo e não recomendo!
