Our group of bicyclists just finished a 60+ mile day of riding and we roll up to the hotel and see a note taped to the door stating the hotel is under new ownership and is closed. None of us received any notifications from the hotel or Expedia about the closure. Multiple attempts to contact the Wyndham offices were unsuccessful. Thus we had no lodging and all of us were on bikes. We fortunately were able to secure last minute lodging though the entire incident was nerve racking and totally unacceptable. At the very least Expedia or Wyndham should provide us with compensation for this truly awful experience.

We reserved a handicap room. I called and asked numerous times to confirm and even the morning of check in and the owner never said they were NOT HANDICAPPED ACCESSIBLE!

Property ran down and smelled of human urine
A/C worked the last day we were there. Other than that it’s a no go for us as I am disabled dependent on a motorized wheelchair and shower chair assistance. Had to have assistance to walk into the hotel as my wheelchair wouldn’t fit through the doorway.

It may have just been me but it didn't seem like the sheets on bed were clean. I admit i did not check them before laying down. But you know the feeling of laying down in your own bed and can realize that you have to clean the sheets, thats what it felt like to me. I've stayed here many times in the past and have never had a complaint till now. I am greatly appreciative of them letting me have an extra hour to check out.

* Service was friendly and helpful
* Room was updated and clean
* Area felt safe
* Quiet, not much noise coming from other rooms even though the place seemed pretty full
* Breakfast was enough to get going for the day (fruit, toast, waffles, mini donuts, milk, juice, coffee)

Cons:
* Parking lot is a little cramped
* Our toilet seemed to have a small leak where it would make the refilling sound every few minutes.
* Body wash was empty in our shower

Overall, the pros outweighed the cons and we would definitely stay again.

We arrived near 9pm after a long, cold rainy day at a football game in Green Bay. It only took a quick 45 minutes to get there. The front desk clerk was very friendly, kind, and helpful. The free parking in back was fairly large and very convenient. All staff was friendly, efficient and available when we needed them. The best part was the nice, hot shower with 3 different shower head settings and the most comfortable bed and pillows I have ever slept in. We didn’t watch much TV but the picture on the channels was not to clear. Other than that if you want a good night’s sleep in a quiet, quaint town a a reasonable price, this is the place.

Room was having some bad odour and that caused my wife allergies. Bathroom toilet tissue roll wall hanging was missing and was broken as well. Bed metal box springs were noisy in sleep. Windows blinds were not proper. Couldn’t close beyond a point. From outside room inside was easily visible. Had to manage some how for night. Since the hotel was full couldn’t get another room.

Lady Staff at Check in was helpful and nice. Hotel was clean and tidy.

I wouldn’t prefer this hotel in future.

My wife and i decided to stay in Manitowoc before continuing to a Green Bay Packer game. We found the Days Inn to be a clean, quietly comfortable inn staffed by very friendly, professional people. The Inn was located in a safe, quiet section of downtown within walking distance ofseveral good restaurants, breweries (Petskull, Craft Creek), and the Maritime Museum (walking tour of WWII submarine was awesome)..

We went out for a couple hours, we had a small crockpot cooking our dinner and it was turned off by the staff without knowledge. We put the sign on the bed for fresh linen, we left and she walked in but never changed anything or gave fresh towels. We needed more toilet paper and when we asked she had gotten very rude and rolled her eyes at us. Just sad that they couldn’t even change sheets or give more toilet paper. Was disappointed. And they don’t ask how your stay was at all. Just check you out and leave. That’s it.

Hotel is located directly downtown and very walkable to many restaurants, bars, shops and attractions (ship museum is very close).

Hotel was quiet, staff was very friendly and helpful. However, there's a reason the prices are cheap. It's an older building. It was raining and water was dripping into our second floor room. Fortunately, it was in an area that didn't require us to change rooms. Turning on sink water also caused pipes to rattle. This hotel needs a lot of work.

Not terrible, but definitely not high end. Plenty of parking and easy access to the building.

This property was a former econ-lodge, so sign out front was a poor banner covering original sign. Hard to find, the lobby was the only clean place on the entire property, inside and out. The room was so bad we would not even shower because of the filth & MOLD AROUND AND IN THE TUB- SHOWER AREA.WE WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE EVER!!!! Hard to believe this is a Wyndham property!

First, this is not a review I would like to leave but I would want to know this if I was traveling to the area especially in the summer.

Pros: Safe area, service was okay, room was clean, beddings were all clean and comfy.

Cons: Really old hotel (used to be Econolodge, but now Days Inn). No signs to show you where to go on really dusty and dirty front glass windows/doors. But my biggest issue was being unable to sleep at night because the AC unit in my room (119) didn't work. It was set at 60 and will won't blow cool air. No worries. I can sleep with a fan. Called up to the front for a fan. She said they didn't have one. Simply reassured me the AC unit worked without coming to verify. I tried all I could but because I wax already dressed for bed and had to be up for work at 6am, couldn't go purchase a fan. Tossed and turned all night. Had very little sleep if any. Asked to have a manager call me. Still haven't had a call back. Lastly, plan accordingly. Breakfast is advertised but your options are cereal, toast, a waffle maker and bananas. I grabbed a couple of bananas and off to work for 16 hours with little sleep. I know how hard it is to run a small business and I'll edit to update this post if some of these are fixed, but I wouldn't want someone else to go through what I went through. Sleep is a huge part of being away from home. Next time, I'll pay the extra $20 to go to the next hotel.

It was a surprisingly nice basic room that was economical. Right downtown near sites but it was very quiet and restful. Could have a little more items for breakfast and kleenex in the room. They allowed me to have a late checkout after running the Maritime Marathon. We would stay there again for sure due to location, service and quiet.

Comfortable Accommodations for the Price!!!

Hello,
I was very satisfied with the room and the updates and remodeling the owners have completed. Yes..the exterior of the building does show its age but they have made the necessary updates to the interior lobby, hallways, and rooms. The shower area could use some additional updates but it functioned and got me clean! Was happy to see the Security cameras throughout the property and exterior too. It was a comfortable nights sleep!

I appreciate the desk service during checkin. I didn’t see anyone on checkout. Several areas require more attention when cleaning: the 3/4 length mirror looked like it was not cleaned in a while and I felt dried streaks on the toilet bowl exterior. Operating the clock was difficult, confusing. And, I found a sock under the arm chair.

No elevator, but I did not ask about that. Housekeeping knocked on our door at 10 with a check-out time of 11. Our key cards were deactivated around 10, also. The upkeep of these rooms has been minimal. The beds and pillows were comfortable, but every time someone moved there was a clanging noise similar to what comes from pipes in an old house.

Toilet paper holder was falling off the wall and the tub floor was stained. The air conditioner never got cold. The ceiling tiles in the hallway have water damage. Most of the issues are cosmetic.

An older motel in the downtown of a very small town, with an odd parking lot. You get basic amenities. Everything you need, but no luxury. You also get to puzzle about when the hotel pictures were taken. They showed it in two different exterior colors. When I got there, I found it painted a third way! Obviously old pictures. Unlike most post pandemic hotels, you get daily room maintenance. I got new towels and my trash emptied EVERY day.
I liked my stay there, and the sleepy traffic of their downtown. I understood what I had signed up for, and got exactly that. If you expect the basics, you will be pleased too.
