Nice property in a great location. Staff and service (including attention to small issues) excellent and restaurant very good... But this property is now feeling its age. No sense of arrival and exterior, overall presentation and furnishings needing a refresh... Room servicing okay (just) but pretty perfunctory and 'guest experience' not what it used to be. Been here 4 times over recent years and the guest experience is sliding... particularly at the room rate.

I can’t believe how beautiful this place is ! Best resort in Hamilton island. Everything is accessible. Free shuttles to take you anywhere you want all you need is to call and they pick you put and drop you off anywhere.

The staff are amazing, honestly so lovely and their service couldn’t fault.

I would recommend this place if you want an outstanding experience. Loved every moment at the beach club !

Beautiful property , nice rooms, access to beach and pool. Breakfast was great each morning and location was prime. They had a free shuttle to anywhere on the island which helped when our legs were tired after a long day snorkeling. Wallabies were walking right around the property which made for a magical Aussie trip. Definitely would book here again!

The rooms were very well situated on the beach. Most staff seemed fairly indifferent and I would have expected much better for the price point.

Two examples. First, no one ever followed up to my email asking for tours after a week. When I called and waited 20 mins on hold, the response was “we haven’t gotten to it”.

When we needed help with a dinner reservation, the staff never followed up at all.

Good, but expected better for the price.

Bar closed at 10pm. Told was due to licence. Proved to be wrong as whole island has license until 2am. When complained management apologised. Stay over Christma. When arrived on 21st we’re told couldn’t have table for Christmas dinner as already booked! Complained and were accommodated. Due to previous lies and Christmas fiasco manager give Christmas dinner for free. Nice touch but least they could do! Private beach area not patrolled and often beds taken by public. Adults only but with public coming on to private area kids present too. Def not 5 star. They attempt to be but half heartedly. Has potential to be great. Location is great but beach is not fantastic. Beach loungers cheaper and no cushions. Need security to patrol users. Pool great but only 18 loungers. 2 umbrellas and guests get up early to take them. They are then free most of the day. Usual sunbed wars! Overall would say is 3.5 start at expensive 5 star price. Would stay self catering for just as good accommodation at half the price

Very comfortable bed and room, nice view from room, staff were very helpful, and accommodating, activities on the beach were interesting, nice restaurants nearby, breakfasts at hotel were delicious and satisfying, loved the shampoo hand cream etc, no need to hire a buggy because the hotel would drop and pick you up from different places on the island. No long transfers because the airport was located just on the other side of the island - 5 minutes away, but the hill inbetween blocked any noise from planes. The added trips were fantastic but not necessary. Would certainly return in the future.

Excellent location with direct access to the beach and only a couple minutes walk down to the marina. Staff are wonderful and accommodating. Lots of included little perks such as free on-demand transfers to/from anywhere on the island and breakfast/food can be delivered to the room at no additional charge.
Main pool is heated, which was a fantastic treat being we came in low season when thble ocean was just a tad cool.
All up would definitely recommend and return in a heartbeat.

The view is everything. The rooms are very tired and the beds are very uncomfortable. When you read CLUB you expect club access like most 5 star hotels. Inclusive breakfast, morning and afternoon tea with canapés and drinks of an evening. You would think for $680 per night this is something that would be offered. But it is not. I have stayed at the beach Club multiple times and expressed this issue time and time again. But you’re on an island they can charge and do as they like.

I am sure people will love it for the beach access and view but it’s not worth the $680 per night.

Beach Club is incredible! We had an amazing view, wallabies were outside our door every day, no kids (I’m a teacher and needed a break!), most of the staff was so kind and helpful, easy to get around the island with their staff driving anywhere you want to go, check in was easy and wonderful! I would love to return someday!

My only issue was with the restaurant manager one evening. My husband and I had reservations but when we showed up were told we couldn’t be seated because my husband was wearing flip flops. We went back to our room so he could change his shoes and we were shown a table. Not long after an older couple showed up and both were wearing flip flops but were seated without issue. This really bothered me.

Other than that, it was a wonderful experience and I would recommend anyone to stay there.

This is such a great option for those people wanting luxury and a quieter place to relax away from the busyness of the rest of the island. We loved being able to walk out from our room onto a courtyard and then onto the beach. The service from all areas of the Beach Club was exceptional and nothing was ever too much trouble. Having the private transport available to take us anywhere at anytime was very handy and a nice touch. The food and cocktails were amazing and lots of options to choose from. The room had everything we needed and the Aesop toiletries and turn down service were another nice touch to complete the overall uniqueness and luxury of the resort. We couldn’t fault the Beach Club at all and we wished we could have stayed longer.

The exclusive beachfront and infinity pool can’t be best. Absolutely perfect location to relax and enjoy the Sun, sand and water (pool or beach). Service was excellent and friendly. On property restaurant was great for both breakfast (included) and dinner. And really no need for a car as the staff will drive you to nearby restaurants and to the harbor (where trips to the reef embark from) as well as pick up from and to the Hamilton Island airport. I recommend it highly.

Some of the staff are arrogant and lack professionalism. The place really lacks a service culture. Given the price point of the place one expects better. For example we asked for hot water which we had to repeatedly ask for and then when it finally came there was no cup or saucer!! On another occasion when delivering our breakfast the staff said “oh you must be very hungry”. And on checking the person never came back to tell us the room was ready - as he was supposed to etc. really lacking in proper service etiquette.

We just absolutely loved our stay in the Beach Club! Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable with a balcony that looked out over the beach with a beautiful view of the sunrise each morning. The hotel was small and quiet with modern decor, a beautiful pool and a private area on the public beach.
The staff were quietly attentive and always happy and helpful. A delicious breakfast was included every morning with continental and cooked options. We were also able to have breakfast served in our room at no extra charge and it was lovely to have it sitting on the balcony. We also had dinner in the hotel on one night and would highly recommend the chef's tasting menu.
Overall I would highly recommend this hotel and would love to go back.

The team were always friendly and happy to help you. The location is on a 8 min walk to the marina where majority of shops, restaurants and water activities are, though the team at the Beach Club available to drop you off and pick you back up at any time. Located on the main beach, adequate options for pool side or beach seating. Right next to free water sports like sailing, kayaking, SUP and snorkelling. Only point of issue was the king bed were two beds pushed together so a really uncomfortable hard ridge through the centre of bed, not ideal a couple….everything else, couldn’t ne happier, child free resort a bonus!

The Beach Club is exceptional. The staff make it do. Everyone from the Manager, Barista to the Gardener, they all made you feel welcome and yiu could feel that they were genuine happy to be there too. Grace and Chris were fabulous, along with the other Beach Club Restaurant staff. Gina, Front Desk Manager has such a welcoming smile and lovely mannerisms that you just knew that you were in the right place to relax. I would highly recommend this Adults Only getaway. Direct beach access is such a perk. Loved our 8 night getaway and we will definitely be back.

Great resort amazing team

The Beach Club is really well positioned with direct access to the beach. We had a ground floor unit which opened the doors to palm trees, the beach and amazing calm ocean protected by the islands and reefs.

The thing that really makes the beach Club is the staff who are out of this world. Kayla and Madi make amazing cocktails, Riane and Grace made amazing coffees in the morning. Laura always accommodated us when we forgot to make a booking for dinner and Beth was always alert and there in a flash when you needed a new cocktail. Meghann will go far in whatever she does, she is just that character and Gabriel, Courtney, Joan, Mark and Ben the rest of the team were of such a high standard it just makes you want to go back. Tariq, the GM is accessible and has an amazing admin team around him with Daniela, Gina, Melissa, Jenna and the awesome team at the front desk.

The resort is wonderful but the staff make this place absolutely amazing.

A thoroughly relaxing and enjoyable stay. The service here is excellent, right from the airport pickup. Food in the restaurant is great quality (we even tried the 5-course tasting menu, which was excellent), and the included à la carte breakfast is generous and of the same standard. Cocktail service both in the pool, and down on the beach. The staff were knowledgeable and genuinely friendly. We're definitely coming back.

Child free paradise! Infinity pool and beach steps away from our room and the most helpful and friendly staff we’ve come across in a long time. Water sports included with our stay was a fabulous idea so we could test out our kayak and paddle boarding skills. Free transport around the island made for a stress free and relaxing holiday. On our first day we were swimming in the beautiful pool and we’re offered free ice cream, does it get any better?! Thank you Beach Club, we will definitely be back!
