Hotel was about ten minute walk from train station. As well as close to the main shops which is ten minutes. Room was a decent size and clean. No issues. Appreciated that they had not turned the aircon and set it to hot like so many hotels do as it would have been stuffy if just on heat. Amenities were minimal and no drip coffee bags like other hotels in Japan. We had a standard room with double bed and I would not recommend. We are both tall and it was small for us.

We speak very little Japanese and were in the town to visit family. The hotel staff was very friendly and did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable. We will definitely stay there again when we visit next year.

wish there’been more lighting. The room was quiet dark I can’t even read books. The only thing could complain though. And the scene outside the window is just another building so do not expect too much.

Great value for our money. Absolutely glitzy compared to other hotels we’d stay in for the same price. A little annoying how there was no way to indicate to staff that we weren’t interested in room cleaning/bed-making (i.e. “Do Not Disturb” sign), since I feel slightly less at-home and secure when I know someone has wandered into our room to change things.

Nice hotel to stay

It is a little away from Sendai station, there is about 5-6 minutes walk from Sendai station to the hotel, but it was not difficult to find. Google map does very good job also. The hotel maintain the US holiday inn standard, hence there is no surprise. One thing to mention is that for $10 extra, the breakfast is definitely a deal! I would also recommend to get yokoso data sim. It is so reliable, good price, and no worry to ship wifi router back/forth.

A friend and I went up for little sight seeing trip. The hotel was great. The rooms were nice. The staff was wonderful. They were able to give us directions anywhere we needed to go, and give us recommendations on places to see and restaurants to go to when we asked. They were very polite and courteous. 10/10 would recommend to a friend. The area is great too. It's within walking distance to the train station and many popular restaurants and stuff.

The hotel was a little difficult to find and is located about 5 to 6 blocks away from the JR Sendai Shinkansen station, but once I found it, I really enjoyed how spacious and clean the room was. I would definitely return here when I'm in Sendai again.

Cigarette smoke.

Our entire group requested non-smoking rooms, and they had none to give. Mine was the worst, and the windows do not open. This hotel needs to make room for non-smokers. I cannot recommend it for this reason.

We just needed a not too expensive place to stay in Sendai for one night. The hotel was very easy to find, the staff spoke English well, there were handy convenience stores between the train station and hotel, and the breakfast that was included in the room rate was extremely varied and delicious.

Nice hotel for the price

We thought this was a nice hotel, convenient to the train station, and included a breakfast buffet which is alot nicer than the Holiday Inn breakfasts in California that I have experienced. The facilities were clean and in good repair. The best thing about it is the hotel staff is always very welcoming and professional. The rates were very reasonable. Alot of airline flight attendants stay here. This is in a safe area.

Excellent. Since the description said \"a business hotel\", I expected a small room as my previous experience. But the room was not as small as expected. Good service with pleasant hotel staffs. I would recommend this hotel highly. Don't let the low price deceive you.

Reasonable, large room, great if you have a car

The hotel locates on the east side of the Sendai station. Most of restaurants and shippings are at the west side. You need to walk around 10-15 minutes to reach there. The good things are the building is fairly new and guest rooms are larger than the average size of this price range. They offer onsite parking with a reasonable fee. It was only 1260 yen per night. My room was very clean and quiet. If you do not want to walk or drive, there is a small restaurant on site. There are not many other dining/shopping options in 2 blocks other than convenience stores. If you are going to baseball game, Rakuten stadium is on the same side.

An Ideal Choice

This hotel provides value-for-money. It is located 3-5 mins walk from Sendai Station. Like any Japanese city, this makes it's location extremely convenient and food of any type and kinds easily available and within easy reach. The hotel has good facilities including free wifi in lobby and free Lan connection in the room...

Breakfast is also available at rather reasonable rate. Good place to stay for all and any purposes.

We had stayed here over 5 years ago and had enjoyed the 'American' breakfast, and the fact that we could view CNN on our television to keep up with world events. This time, the breakfast was not as good and we could not access CNN.
One of the reasons we had returned there was because we were able to communicate with the staff in English. This time, we had more difficulty with that, as well.
Otherwise, although our room was small, it was convenient and spotless. There was a lot of attention to international travelers' needs - toothbrushes, toothpaste, razors, hair ties, robes slippers, as well as hairdryers and the availability of an iron and board.

Disappointing service

Since booking, we selected a non-smoking room. When arriving at the hotel to leave our luggage and fill the check-in form (we arrived earlier than the check-in time), we were asked again the kind of room we wanted. We confirmed that a non-smoking one. While arriving at night exhausted with our kid already sleeping after an exciting day in Sendai, we picked up our key and went to our room (514) to find that it smelt as a smoking room. The lady at the reception stated that it was a non-smoking room as the whole 5th floor, so we invited her to check by herself and to give us a new room (411). After leaving from the elevator at the 4th floor, there was a notice clearly saying that it was non-smoking floor, that we didn´t see at the 5th floor. Room No. 411 didn´t smell cigarrette, althought later we noticed a drain smell at the bathroom. As probably all the bathrooms smelled like that and it was already late, we just went to sleep. By the way, if you stay at this hotel and you look for something that fall under your bed, be ready to find plenty of old dust. The price we paid for a night was not expensive considering it was a Holiday Inn, but we understand now why.

New clean hotel

The room was clean and new. As in most hotel in Japan, the room was a bit smaller than hotels in the US. But the room and the bathroom were big enough for us. It seemed to me that this is a relatively new hotel. We liked the breakfast there, with so many options and good food! Free internet was also a plus. It was located in a residential neighborhood, but still it was just a short walk to the main train station and shops/restaurants around that area. Overall, we really liked this place.

Great location, great service, great room.

The hotel was very easy to find. Just take the East Exit all the way to the street and look to your right. The location was great as it was close to the station and all of the shopping. The customer service was terrific as the staff spoke both English and Japanese and they were very helpful with directions.
Our rooms were well equipped with more than what we needed. Most people complain that the rooms in Japan are small. Well, they are. If you just expect than, then you're going to have a great time. Great stay and the beds were firm. We slept well.

The hotel is central located in the city of Sendai. The Sendai train station is 10 minute walk of the hotel. The hotel staff is great, limited Englsih but brush up on your Japanese. There are many translator programs for phones and Iphones. The Internet connection is wired and works great for small fee. The food at the hotel is limited and it is good. There are many restaurants within walking distance. The room had cable tv, large bath tub, central air, and very quiet.

ワークスペースも広いです。
部屋に入った時、部屋の電源のカードが最初から入れてあるのに部屋が真っ暗でスイッチを探すのに苦労しました。
ベッドのところだけに集中していました。
水のボトルが置いてなかったのが残念でした。

房間有兩個大窗戶，讓景觀一覽無遺。

服務人員態度親切周到，讓人感受到賓至如歸的溫暖。
他們總是帶著微笑提供幫助，讓整個住宿體驗更加分。
飯店地點交通便利，機能良好，無論是商務差旅還是觀光旅遊，都是絕佳的選擇。

サンプラザホールでのライブ観戦に備えて今回初めて宿泊させていただきました。ホテル館内、お部屋もとても綺麗で快適に過ごすことができました。駐車場も天候に左右されず往復することができ便利でしたが、女性が大きめのキャリーバッグを引っ張りながらとなりますと所々段差があったので移動は少し大変でした。
その他、フロントスタッフの方の笑顔はとても良かったのですが、声が小さくおっしゃることが聞き取れない事が何度かあり、なんとなく雰囲気で乗り越えました。
トータルでは大変楽しい時間が過ごせました。次回もまた利用させていただきたいです。ありがとうございました。

施設全般的に可もなく不可もなくという状況。残念ながらシャワーヘッドの汚れが気になりました。スタッフはフレンドリーでした。朝食は３連泊だったのですが変化に乏しくやや残念でした。失礼な言い方かもしれませんが、値段相応でした。

周りにコンビニも有り便利

到着が日にちを跨ぎ翌日になってしまったのですが、電話でその旨をお伝えしたところ、ご丁寧に対応して頂き快適に過ごす事が出来ました。2階の電子レンジがエレベーターを出たすぐのところにあるのに気付かず暫く探してしまいましたので、表記が有れば尚助かります。(当方若干の視覚障害がある為見落としていたら申し訳ございませんm(._.)m
