The pool was broken, the breakfast area was under construction. The room was old and dirty. The bathtub took forever to drain. Hardly any handy plugins for phones, there were several abandoned vehicles in both parking lots, missing wheels and parked across several parking spaces. Just felt shady

Did not stay tried to cancel. Run down, renovations being done. Front door didn’t close, kitchen and pool were closed! Dirty. 3 people canceled at the same time!!!

this place was so awful that my daughter and i left after being in the room for 5 minutes and went to a different hotel! right from the time i stepped into the lobby i had a red flag gut feelings... the front desk guy was asking if i was travelling alone. the place was absolutely disgusting filthy. our room had hairs in the bed, curly hairs all over the bathroom and sticky dust everywhere! the room stunk of cigarette smoke, and walls and doors were filthy and streaked. this place needs to be shut down.

I paid for two Queen beds online and when i arrived I was given a two double bed room which did not work for myself and my two boys that are over 6 feet tall. When I questioned the man at the front desk, he informed me they were queens, which they are not. After that, there was apparently nothing he could do, he had no rooms with He had no rooms with real queens. He had no rooms to offer me. I could not get a refund. Room was loud and outdated. After phoning, Expedia customer service, I was equally as frustrated as they could not do anything about it. If I could give them zero stars, I would. Terrible experience.

After washing went to use the hairdryer and it didnt work.
Put the tv on to watch some hockey and the signal was in and out.

First off, the hotel appears abandoned. I parked, walked in and stood in the lobby probably 20 minutes before someone came. I even wondered down to look at the pool and came back before anyone was at the desk. The carpet in the stairwell actually looks and smells like someone urinated on it. The room was dark and freezing cold, one of the lamps is burnt out. The only reason it isn’t a 1 star is because it was quiet (mostly)

This was officially the worst experience i have ever had at a hotel... i thought i was booking a room in a hotel, not a motel. The room was dirty. Bed spread had cigarette burns. There was no hot water either.

I had to grab wool blankets from my car.The door lock was broken,and the phone to call the front would not work. When i complainted, the front attendent shrugged his shoulder and said oh sorry. If i wanted to camp i wouldnt pay $100 a night. They didnt comp the night. Or even a discount. I strongly recommend against this hotel under any circumstances.

I needed a cheap place to stay as I was playing at the Legion. I needed a bed and a bath close to there. The bed was comfortable but the sheets were hard and scratchy and the covers were in need of a wash. The bath was quite old and yellowed with stains but the water was hot and that was all that mattered. Had just gotten to sleep when someone came knocking on the door next door at around 2am saying what I thought was \"Room Service\" I couldn't tell if it was my room or the one next door as the walls were thin and I could hear lots of noise from the room next door. I had to get up and discovered it was for the room next door. all in all I got some sleep and a bath after my show and the price was on par with my expectations.

The place is really terrible. I came for check and the front desk confused me. Cause of smoking room. And when im inside the room. Its too cold. The heater is not working properly. Been almost one hr still cold and the room is really dirty. I have all the pictures of like food dog and lots of dust. The microwave inside is really terrible! When I opened the sheets to the bed there were stains in the blankets. The room was dirty. When I tried to go to the front desk to get a clean sheet, the door was blocked with a piece of wood. Property was dated. The checkin girl was helpful and friendly. First room we booked , checkin told us it was a smoking room. Huh, I didn’t think they were even still available. So she moved us from a King to 2 double beds and said she’d honour the price?? The room was supposed to have AC. It didn’t even turn on. Went down to front desk bcz phone in room didn’t work. Moved to room on 2nd floor. She said it had AC, it did not. We were hot all night! Not a great sleep. It was a bed and that’s what we needed. We were in town for a Convention so checkin late and check out early. From the outside it looked sketchy. Don’t think we would stay there again.

It shouldn’t be called a hotel, the place looks sketchy as you approach and looks like it’s serving as low income shelter. The pictures on the internet are misleading. The rooms are very dated and the beddings have burn holes in them as well.

When I made the reservation through Expedia, the information was that cancellation was no charge if done more than 24 hours prior to arrival . When due to flight changes I was required to make changes to my dates, I was told that I could cancel and rebook, but no refunds would be offered and I would be charged again. This was several weeks prior to arrival, then upon arrival in Red Deer my friend almost had a heart attack when I gave the name of the Hotel- apparently it’s a known drug haven ! THANKS! They refused to let me stat there.

Terrible. We got in to the room and no joke, it was COLDER than outside. We got there late and were told to turn the thermostat on when we got in and had to wait 30 minutes to go to sleep because it was waaaay too cold. Shower was weak and bed sheets were not the cleanest either.

The location is good. Close to venues, restaurants. The hotel/motel is showing its age, looking on the downward end of its run. With out of order vending machines and drink dispensers. The hotel requires an update. I currently would not do an update untill certain mentality and practices were addressed.The cleanliness of the room required more attention to detail. There are certain sanitary conditions and health concerns that were over looked. This is not surprising considering the quality standard of this hotel. When I brought this to the attention of the front desk staff they quickly had maintenance come out to address and fix the situation. The problem is not the staff, the problem is management and ownership. Quality standards and procedures to meet these standards are lacking. This is apparent ownership is not taken, and blame is placed on others. It was disappointing to observe.

I was pretty disappointed with the room we we were given, booked 3 months in advance and was given a room outside in the cold versus a friend that I booked for 2 days in advance was given a nicer room inside the hotel. Customer service was good. Our heating didn’t work the first night then kicked in in the middle of the night to leave the room in a sauna. Very unprofessional.
