Definitely not a 5 star hotel. Rooms 3 stars max, food is mediocre at best. We have to change our room key +20 times due to errors on their system. Service is mediocre at best and they constantly try to upsell their paid services - every 2 min someone comes by to sell you something.

We had the most amazing stay at JAZ Aquamarine. We were a bit sceptical about Hurghada after reading some bad reviews and people’s scaremongering, but we had the best experience which exceeded our expectations. From the food, to the facilities, pool and staff. Everything was 10/10. Would definitely return and recommend JAZ!!

This hotel is advertised as 5-star but feels more like a dated 4-star at best. The rooms and facilities are old, with several things broken in our room.

The “all-inclusive” label is misleading everything comes with extra charges.

Sunbeds cost extra, and the indoor pool, sauna, and steam room are €20 per person for just one hour. Certain foods from all inclusive food courts come at an extra charge.

The food was very poor and barely edible looked like a pile of vomit.

The spa is massively overpriced double the rate from other 5* Resorts (€70–€200) and the massage was so bad it left me in pain for days.

There were others also complaining of the very poor quality massages.

The extra charges add up fast by checkout, we’d spent almost the same amount as a full flight-and-hotel package for one person.

All Pools were overcrowded with kids even during quiet season, making it impossible to relax.

The whole resort feels like a money trap. The on-site shops are priced at 10x normal prices, and tour reps constantly roam the hotel trying to sell excursions at double the usual rate. You’re better off booking through GetYourGuide.

Service didn’t feel welcoming, especially for South Asian or Black African guests, you feel stared at by other guests the whole time there which can be very uncomfortable.

Overall, it’s far from a 5-star experience, and I wouldn’t recommend it. Jaz Bluemarine is no better, as it’s directly linked and shares the same buildings and facilities.

On arrival the receptionist refused my official marriage paper which has been used at many many hotels including the Jaz group.
Hotel then attempted to charge me for the reservation. When Expedia then contacted the hotel on my behalf they said, they charged as i did not turn up to check in.
Very strange.

We stayed at Jazz Aqua Marine and Jazz Bluemarine in Hurghada and it was truly an amazing experience.
The resort is perfect for families, especially if you have kids. The aqua park and water slides are fantastic and kept everyone entertained all day.

The service is exceptional. Staff are friendly, attentive, and everything feels well organized. One of the things I loved most is that it’s one of the few all-inclusive resorts in Egypt where you don’t need to queue or hustle for drinks. Everything is easily accessible and well stocked.
There are food venues everywhere, with plenty of variety during all main meals and snacks in between, so you’ll never go hungry.

The only downside is the beach. It’s very shallow, which makes it great for kids who can’t swim yet, but not ideal for adults looking to swim or snorkel. That said, the rest of the facilities more than make up for it.

Overall, it’s a family haven. Relaxing, fun, and stress free.
Highly recommended for families with kids. 10/10!

Second time here. The (multiple!) main restaurant food is good. Not spectacular, The a la carte restaurants excellent.

We went here for the kids. 5 aquapark areas. 2 for very little kids; one right up at the top of Bluemarine (2 flumes + some smaller slides), the other one down near the beach (some slides). These are suitable for infants and of little interest to my (strong swimmer) 6 year old. There are then 3 other parks. One in Bluemarine with 5 flumes, another on the left of the beach with 6 larger flumes, including a inflatable ring flume, then the main inflatable ring park with inflatable 3 ring flumes. 120cm height limit posted on all of them which seemed fair, but in true Egyptian style, theres a tape across the rulers at 130cm. My 6 year old is 125cm and was only put up against the ruler once but after reassurance from me that he could swim was allowed to ride Again, smaller kids in arm bands were being allowed on, take 120cm as the limit though.

Pools were great, lots of them, all quite shallow and great for playing with the kids. One pool reserved for adults.

We did walk out over the sand to snorkel a few times along the reef. And theres a new pier being constructed right now to facilitate this more which will probably be a couple of months in construction. You can get a bitnof snorkeling in, but its a 10 minute walk and then a bit of a swim to get to the interesting reef.

We used the on-site, Egypt lnternational for snorkeling trips and diving trips.

The hotel overall was ok for the location and price. However, there were couple of issues:
1. The food was below average
2. The access to the beach was unusual and not easy. The closer beach was extremely shallow were the water covers hour foot only. Then you have to walk through weird access to reach the actual water. It wasn’t easy and I didn’t like it. The room and amenities were ok, needs renovations.
3. Booking the restaurant was difficult as you have to book one day before and usually says full. Then you have to go to the counter and ask for extra table.

Otherwise, the staff were very helpful. Sufra and Nino were the best restaurants.
Next time., will try a different hotel

The water slides for kids did not have any gripping mats on the watery slippery stairs or anywhere around it. My daughter fell several times, almost hit her head on pavement but one of the guests caught her and prevented a horrible incident.

The resort is incredibly fun and well-maintained, offering a wide variety of pools, water slides, and activities for both kids and adults. My wife and I, along with our children, were never bored! The food was consistently excellent, with diverse dining options that catered to all tastes.

One of the standout features of this place is its exceptional customer service. It’s clear that the staff is highly trained to provide top-notch hospitality, but a few individuals went above and beyond, making our stay even more memorable. I’d like to extend a special thank you to:

Excellent for children .with the heated pools . There was different areas on the resort from lively to quiet , something for all ages . Varied choices to eat from ..no choices for people ,children with allergies,...service in the restaurant was questionable at times ,staff more interested in chatting to each other,,dirty used dishes on tables left longer than should be.floors in restaurant not swept , regularly.there were staff who went above service other who just sauntered along..
Variety of different dishes at all sittings.....was slightly disappointed in standards as I have been in other Jaz hotels .with more attentive staff .
Was in this hotel march 2024 I noticed the drop in standard from then to now December did speak to the manager about standards you expect from Jax hotel group...
Over all the grandchildren enjoyed themselves,,we adults did have a nice holiday .

Amazing staff make this place my second home. So much choice of eating places and where to spend your lazy days in the sun. The grounds are kept immaculate by the gardeners and thanks to housekeeper Ahmed. Always something good to eat and treated like a Queen by the staff. My favourite place in the day lazing by the pool at la Perla and being looked after by best waiter Mohamed. Ate in all the buffet restaurants and looked after by Saad, Mostafa,Shady,Mahmoud,Ahmed (my heart). See you all again next time.

The hotel was not so far from the airport, it was nicer to check-in late and the staff was so welcoming. The whole process was qick and easy.
Our room was clean, Muhammad who was in charge of our block was so welcoming and looked after us. All pools was clean and lots of activities planned by the entertainment crew. There are quite pools too. Lots of sun lounge around and drink stations bars where food and snacks available. Service from all staff was amazing. All lunch and dinning options and verity's was good. And the beach was also amazing and the sea was so nice to walk and swim in. No issues with bugs. Lots of entertainment. We had so much fun in the sun. Thank you Jaz Aquamarine

My stay at this hotel was marred by several disappointing experiences.

Firstly, I sustained a foot injury in my room and requested a first-aid kit from reception. Despite multiple assurances, no kit was ever delivered. This left me with no choice but to venture outside the hotel, injured, to purchase one from a pharmacy.

Secondly, I attempted to extend my stay for a few hours on my checkout day. Despite inquiring well in advance, I was told this wasn't possible due to the room being booked. However, upon attempting to book the room online for an additional night, I was informed that it was available. This lack of transparency is frustrating and led to unnecessary expenditure on my part.

Thirdly, as a vegetarian, I found the meal options to be incredibly limited. The same dishes were served repeatedly, and even the vegetarian corner was not safe from cross-contamination. On one occasion, I unknowingly consumed a potato stuffed with meat. This is unacceptable and shows a lack of care for dietary needs.

On a positive note, I would like to commend the clinic services. When I fell ill, the nurses and doctor provided excellent care and support, enabling me to recover quickly.

Overall, my stay was overshadowed by several significant shortcomings in service and care. I hope this feedback will prompt improvements for future guests.

Rude staff, especially to women, not helpful at all. Some of the staff would not even look at me in the eyes when talking to me, they only tesponded to my husband . Dated rooms, very noisy at night and last night we had no electricity so we couldn’t prepare properly for our check out . These people watch you as an ATM machine and all they care about is money, they charged us an extra $100 on top of our prepaid reservation for no reason , they never issued a receipt for this too. Not respectful to the kids as well, our boys waited for 40 min on a line for ice cream because all of the local kids were taken with priority. We will not come back and we don’t recommend.

The resort is looking a bit tired after only 15 years, the bathrooms are in need of a decent regrout and painting. The food variety and quality was disappointing for all inclusive and all 4 of us ate something on different days that made us unwell, which is a first in 20 years of living abroad and travelling. Avoid the Beach Snack Bar for food, it comes out too quickly to be fresh, we were ill after eating there and we were already warned by a friend who had stayed here to avoid the chicken!

The whole property was excellent and very well maintained and run. The staff were amazing, helpful and eager to solve any problems. The restaurants were exceptional and the service was wonderful.
Mr.Gouda, the manager, gave us his personal card to contact him with any problems.
The beach area is very shallow and gets even shallower during low tide starting at noon.
The only thing that was annoying was the amount of smoke that gets built up in the air at night at the entertainment area, with only one fan available and the huge numbers of smokers, the whole area was as filled with cigarette smoke. I hope the resort gets more fans in that area or designates an area for smokers and another area for non smokers.

This was probably one of the best if not the best holiday resort we have stayed in. Right from the booking and check in, the team were awesome. We were checked in by Mohamed, i wish i had taken his last name as i soon found out half of the team are Mohamed. He was just amazing. Thank you. We were taking to our room by the niciest man, Ali, the whistling man. Hilarious man too. Thank you Ali. We also had the nicest man in house keeping, Refaey. His towel arranging skills deserve recognition and a prize. Great man indeed. In Front of house, there was Mohamed, Ahmed and Hamdy. Amazing team that looked after us and kept our son entertained. The place is spotless clean with many pools, beach bars and restaurants to choose from. Very well run and mainted place. They really go above and beyond for guests. Thanks to the super awesome South African lady in the animation team who took time to check on us and Michele from guests relations. You guys rock. There were plenty of options for food and the menu changed so you didnt get bored. We were there for 10 days and loved it so much we will return. They have a clinic on site as well, which is super handy when you have kids. All in all an amazing experience and amazing resort.

It was a good trip and the hotel is good. The property is a bit tired in places and the food could be a bit hit and miss. The pools were great and the slides a hit. Spa also good. The resort is fantastic overall. Rooms and pools are clean, the food is super (i was a bit sceptical on this but couldn't be better). Staff was friendly and helpful.

The sea of the beach is very shallow, you can't enjoy it as much as you would like to but still, we didn't mind, we made the most of it and we had the perfect break from our bad weather in England.

Last bad point is the WiFi, didn't work well for us, but it is a nice excuse to forget about the phone for a few days.

It reached our expectations and we would recommend the place.

Stayed at Jaz Aquamarine for 6 days and we had a great time. Property is huge as its twinned with Bluemarine. Gardens, Pool and other areas are kept immaculate. There are few pool side bars which serve snack throughout afternoon. The main TOPAZ restaurant offers very good buffet. Staff are very attentive and make you feel special. There are 3 water slide pools which kid enjoyed. Would definitely recommend this hotel/resort to anyone seeking a true 5* experience.

Everything about our trip was amazing! The staff at Jaz Aquamarine are the best, they were all so helpful and accommodating, haven’t come across nicer people than them. Anything we needed, they were happy to help, from the ground staff to security, everyone was so polite and professional.
Ibrahim was very courteous, whilst we were by the poolside he saw we had finished our drinks and went to get us new drinks without even asking!

Hotel is a 4 star in my opinion, got a garden view room and was ok poor Internet speeds, i booked this hotel as it had 2 indoor pools as I wanted to use for my baby, when i got there they wanted to charge 20 to 25 euros person to use which was ridiculous these charges were not on website , baby pool outside were dirty, beds were comfortable, water pressure very high, would i go back, not really as other 4 starts were much better than this so called 5 star

Expedia had on the check-in instructions that we should check in at Jazz Blue Marine even though our stay was at Jazz Aqua Marine, but we were told otherwise when we arrived. Nonetheless, the staff at reception sorted us out, and we were very well welcomed.
Even though we went all-inclusive, we were informed at check-in that we could only use the two buffet restaurants throughout our stay, and we would have to book any of the other 5 available restaurants, and could only use these twice. When we tried to book it the day after our arrival, we were very disappointed to learn that only one of them had availability for the next 4 days, and even more disappointed as it wasn't one of our preferred options in the first place. Nonetheless, both of the main buffet restaurants were great, with loads of different options, all of which very tasty and fresh.

The bedrooms are alright, fairly sized with a nice balcony, even though the floor didn't seem to be properly vacuumed. In any case, the housekeeping staff cleaned and tidied up every day, which was nice. There isn't a Smart TV in the bedrooms and the Wi-Fi was terrible (worse than a 3G connection), which is unacceptable in a resort of this size.

The beach is disappointing as the sea level is not suitable for swimming as it is set up for sea sports only.
The resort is ideal for families with kids as there are plenty of activities for them.

All staff is very helpful and friendly.

My first impression of the hotel was extremely bad as they didn’t meet my requirements when I had emailed/messaged them on numerous occasions as this was a surprise for my husbands birthday. We traveled on his birthday and got at the hotel for 12pm to celebrate his birthday noting was done upon request. The hotel room was dirty it was so far out from the main reception, that night we called 3 times but no one at the reception picked up and our internet wasn’t working.

Following that morning we spoke to a manager Mahmoud Khamis who moved us to another room and offered us a mean at one of the restaurants (which really was part of our package anyway). We have a small baby and every night from the beach until 11/12 we can hear loud music which I think for families the hotel should think twice before putting them near the beach area. Also buggy users we have to keep taking our buggy upstairs. I’ll be honest I was really disappointed that despite ruining the surprise they didn’t do anything to make up for it. We have a holiday booked again at this resort for April 2024 but I’ll have to think about it.

Anyways I don’t want to be extremely unfair. Besides that experience I would say that the hotel really does deserve a 10/10 for the staff, hospitality and atmosphere. I just wish they went out their way for customers who were left unhappy due to their mistake

Nice hotel, but average food...

The hotel is a very large property, a lot of space, large pools, two water parks and several on-site activities. What was disappointing for us was the food. For such a large hotel it had very limited food options in the main (buffet) restaurant. Even the salad bar was very basic (lettuce, tomatoes, and not much more). Having such a large hotel I would think diversity would be enormous, but this was not the case. Overall, value for money I think the hotel was ok... but personally, I would be willing to pay a bit more for better food options.

Absolutely amazing, the facility is a bit old but everything is so beautiful that it could be considered. The food in the main restaurants was mainly raw , but there were so many places around the hotel that you can gave different food so it was not a problem.

Very organized, checking in and out very smooth. We arrived earlier and left later because of the flight time , no problem to do so.
I can’t say enough about each one of the staff from the front desk to the room attendant Michael
Who made us feel very special.
The nice smile on each one’s face while doing their job as if they are having a great time helping us. Just to mention a few names
Yasser and Mina at the front desk.
Another Mina, Ahmed and Zwy at the beech lunch place .
Of course Sun and beech, we had a great time. We recommend the place to everyone.

Pleasant hotel with friendly staff, nice decor and good safe beach. Food in line with this type of property. Meat was less plentiful than other resorts but there was enough good quality food to eat so nice to see care and some reasonable economy taken for a well priced nightly rate. The offerings for children are very good. I would prefer wooden sun beds with cushions but you can’t have everything! Thank you Jaz. .

Just arrived home after 2 weeks in the hotel. We had a wonderful time.All the staff are very friendly helpful and accommodating.Great selection of food and the local beer at the hotel is nice not to mention the cocktails.We had a spa treatment which was wonderful.Hassan kept the room spotless.A special mention to Bimen at the lobby bar.

Excellent 4*, not 5* in my opinion

Hotel spotless, beach littered with cigarettes and plastic bottles.
Good choice of food, some dishes better than others, stale pastries at breakfast, dried out cucumber that kind of thing.
Handful of staff go above and beyond.
Most evening entertainment was great from the fire show to the live music but sadly one evening a musician sat on their phone for 2 hours of their 3hour set.

Amazing stay, booked for a family of 3 adults and 1 child. Everyone was more than satisfied. The activities, foods and rooms met each of our needs and standards.

The facilities and restaurants were close, there are more than 5, and we enjoyed the lobby bar and beach bar.

The bed was comfortable, the room was big, toilets were clean and we had Wi-Fi connections in the areas we needed.

I even recommended it to our other family members as we liked the hotel a lot, they stayed with us and it was even better.

Only issue is that the area is far from downtown, but Uber cost €1-2 so no complaints.
