The building is well maintained, staff are polite and nice, the facility is huge so expect a lot of walking, there's 2 drawbacks the food variety is poor except special nights, also the pools are bit boring no musics with little animation, so if you want a quite place to relax this will be your destination.

Rooms were nice , and clean! We had an issue with a clogged sink called the front desk and they addressed it immediately!
We didn't get to try any of the 8 restaurants on property but food options at the buffet were always delish! Staff was excellent, welcoming and attentive! Zizo showed us to our room and made sure that we were comfortable. We only stayed 2 nights so we didn't get to enjoy all of the amenities the property has to offer but would definitely stay again!!

Great option in Hurghada
Near the option and city centre
It is not a very new hotel but it has been undergoing small improvements.
All the areas and room are always clean and tidy.
The beach is very nice and we can find a lot of pools inside the complex.
The dining options seem to be way better than the average.
The alcohol options are not at the same level as in other countries but still good.
Although we could find a lot of strange people reserving sunbeds when they wake up (and don't show up for hours) we never had problems finding sunbeds - this politic shoud be reviewed by the hotels by the way.

Excellent Hotel, fabulously clean, brilliant facilities and amazingly friendly staff.

Rooms - very clean, Beds comfy but Air Con was very loud

Food is as to be expected at an all inclusive, good selection each day but can get repetitive. Lot of options to eat in other restaurants too though, and there is snack bars at lunch etc

The Alcohol is shocking, if you intend on drinking lot this is not the hotel for you.

Gym - Best i've had access to at a hotel abroad

Water Slides (easy access to other hotel) - Brilliant, Kids absolutely loved them too.

Pool and Beach - Brilliant

Entertainment - As to be expected. Ends at 11pm but is very loud, especially the 'Pool Party' - If you like an early night or have young kids, would suggest asking for a room further away and closer to the beach.

I'm not someone to really return to any location more than once, but entire family agreed we'd happily come back here.

Nice hotel but needs big refurbishment, the room was in need of several repairs. When we checked in the reception staff were rude and didnt even smile. Restaurant staff were great, always smiley and helpful. It Was difficult to get served at the swim up pool bar as they were always too busy chatting to each other and ignored you. We also noticed that the well used plastic cups were just rinsed and used again!!! Other people we spoke to also felt this way so used the other pool bar who were always happy and served you straight away.

This was our second stay at Sunrise Mamlouk Palace Hotel. The staff goes above and beyond to make you enjoy your holiday to the fullest, especially the reception and holiday concierge staff. The rooms are spacious,clean and some of them renovated recently. The best thing in my opinion is that the facilities are shared with the sister hotel Sunrise Garden Beach resort, so you can use the pools and restaurants of both hotels, as well as the very well equipped gym. The beach is at walking distance, it is clean and has a boardwalk to take you to the snorkeling area. The resort has an app that you can use to book dinner, check the daily program and order room service or report a room fault. We loved the food, the buffet has a wide choice of warm and cold options, and the a la Carte restaurants are also very good quality.

We had a wonderful stay at the Palace resort. Amazing service. Everyone there was cheerful and polite. Stand out were Mahmoud at the pool who was always helpful with finding us sunbeds, Emad at reception helped with booking one of the 4 a la carte restaurants when it was already fully booked. The hotel organised our trek to Cairo and Giza to see the Pyramids with a much better price than on line. Thomas was our driver and guide and was brilliant all day. The trip is not for the faint hearted (7 hrs there and 5 hrs drive back), but a great adventure. They have a heated outside pool as we had a couple of windy days which even though the temperature was in high 20s made swimming more enjoyable. All in all it was a memorable holiday.

I was there for Xmas and New year, long stay. The rooms are very spacious and housekeeping is 10 out of 10 👍.
The food...simply superb. Very balanced offering. From traditional Arab food, to all very well known European dishes. It is simply impossible not to find something for every taste and diet.
Services provided from all the staff at the hotel are excellent. The only thing that needs to be looked (in my opinion) is the fact that everyone is constantly on the mobiles. They carry a plate in one hand and mobile phone in the other. Come on guys, leave the phone in your pocket when you serve your customers.
Gym: Very clean and very well equipped
WIFI: This deserves special mentioning... EXCELLENT. The cover in the hotel and the surrounding grounds is superb. Even on the beach you have WIFI cover. No need for expensive phone calls. WhatsApp, Viber, Messenger all of them working as they should.
All in all, fantastic place for a holiday.

Amazing hotel, great food and lots of choices for a la carte as well as the buffet. Heated pool which was great for December holiday. Easy access to the private beach. Service was so friendly and helpful. We stayed in the Executive suite which was very spacious and on ground floor so direct access to the beach. Only critisicm would be that the room especially living area is a bit dark so would recommend the hotel adds brighter side lights. Other than that everything was perfect!

We were absolutely satisfied with our stay. We loved the different included dining options (buffets and a la carte restaurants) with our all-inclusive package. Service was excellent, they went above and beyond to make sure our stay was pleasant, even gave us late check out and use of all the facilities/restaurants after check out while waiting for our taxi. One heated pool, towel service, amazing beach with a board walk and great snorkeling spot. Activities and shows organized during the day and evening. We loved the parade!
Gym was well equipped with cardio and weights/resistance machines , had even a squat rack, smith machine and stair master. Towels available and locker room had showers.
Lots of activities and excursions available to purchase such as horse riding, desert quad ride, snorkeling and visiting Orange beach, where the sea water is comparable to that of Bahamas. Highly recommended.

one of the very best!

the jewel in their crown is really the staff - their willingness, friendliness and professionalism along with excellent English right from the room cleaners upwards. have had better food at other hotels but not bad. always a disappointment that hotels serve bolanachi alcohol, the cheapest nastiest substance - at 40le a liter, its bad to think how much the all inclusive option is then you get served this poison which is guaranteed to mess your guts u all week! beautiful decor and architecture make this hotel pretty special. not many Egyptians which is a shame as we are in egypt! lots of families with children - if your not into that you might be slightly miffed. hotel could be better wit the single use plastic situation. but overall probably the best hotel ive stayed in in hurghada or at least top 3.

Amazing and enjoyable stay

I'm so glad that I stayed at Sentido Mamlouk resort. The place was amazing, staff was so helpful and smiling all the time, they went the extra mile in making our stay satisfactory. I highly recommend this resort for families who would like to have high quality food, service and activities. With this hotel you can access the facilities of Sunrise Garden as well, enjoy excersise with the animation team in the morning while having Aqua aerobics and zumba afternoon at Sentido. There were A la cart resturants that needs to be reserved earlier, the Asian was a nice dinning experience. The beach is sandy and water is crystal. The room service has done a great job and the place was shining. Thanks Sentido will definitely come back.

It was amazing so far especially the Mexican Resturant with MR karam with his professional lovely hospitality, the only bad thing is booking the tours there as it take more than one hour for the dolphin world booking with the tour guid in the reception and I face many problem there because of wrong informations from Mr Amr the tour company rep.

The resort serves by far the best food in Egypt it's super delicious and clean with wide variety and options for all tastes. Staff always smiling, helpful and super friendly. A lot of facilities and activities to serve all ages. Animation group were fun. Aqua gym was one of the nice activities.
The only draw back was their rooms, they are in bad condition, furniture needs to be changed with general maintenance for the AC because the rooms smell like sewage (we had to change 2 rooms during our stay).
Other than that it was a lovely holiday!

The Mamlouk, an exceptionally clean, well maintained property with its own beach & opportunity to use facilities at the Garden Beach hotel next door.

Majority of staff were incredibly friendly & welcoming, we actually found some on reception to be quite dismissive & disinterested & when we had an issue they just displayed a \"couldn't be bothered\" attitude. Thankfully this was not a reflection of the bar, pool, concierge, room attendants or even the gardeners who were always incredibly friendly and helpful.

The room was comfortable & spacious, cleaned very well, free safe & air con. Shower water power was poor however & along with hard pillows were the only small gripes we had about our room stay. Excellent pools, nice beach, lots of places to eat & buffet (although a little busy at times) the food was always good, plenty of choice and really can meet the needs of the fussiest eaters. Ability to book into a la carte restaurants (some chargeable) but most included although it was a shame the booking system did not allow you to cancel to release the place to someone else should your plans change which was a shame. (Tried to cancel via holiday concierge but was advised that wasn't an option either!)

Great location, short transfer from airport, £3 in Uber to Marina

Big negative - don't allow monkey's with a metal collar and kept on a chain to be used for \"entertainment\" & photos, incredibly cruel, totally unnecessary& this alone would effect our decision to return.

We enjoyed our stay and the staff were very helpful. Room was large with comfy beds and powerful shower. The TV has about 10 English speaking channels and the free wi-fi was excellent.

Food was good with always a selection of at least 2 meats and one fish. Lots of salads and always 2 soups available with some lovely fresh bread. Dozens of cakes and other desserts although I felt the ice cream was not that great.
We never got to breakfast but felt that the other two meals were more than enough for us. Nice lot of sun beds and being February the wind breaks on the beach were a necessity most days. The bars both on the beach and in the hotel offered quick service especially if you tipped the waiters occasionally. The specialist restaurants are good although disappointing that many of these are now chargeable and can work out expensive.
The entertainment was pretty good most evenings but finished early unless you ventured next door to the sister hotel.

I spent 8 nights with family, we enjoyed this resort very much for the following aspects and reasons:

1- Service: all the staff are very helpful and everyone at any area of the hotel specially (restaurants and bars) meeting you with a smile.
2- Cleanings: This hotel is perfectly maintains standard Hygiene and food poisoning measures and standards, I saw three audit visits during our stay.
3- Food: The quality, variety and taste of the food is more than perfect, there are 5 Al-acarte restaurants all types of food and drinks around you everywhere you go inside the resort.
4- Animation: The animation team is one of the best animation teams I have ever seen, the daily show was very interesting and the team they are everywhere during the morning and night time.

What a lovely hotel! The photos don't do this place justice. We went for almost 2 weeks and only left the resort twice. The children loved the kids club and the pool and keen to return.

I am a vegan and was worried about the food but there was lots of options for me to eat. You can always ask if you are unsure!

Christmas in Egypt was magical and the highlight was Father Christmas arriving delivering presents to the kids on a camel! Very different to England and the kids will always remember this holiday.

Amazing staff. They can not do enough for you. Any minor problems and they were sorted out straight away. Fantastic place.

I would class this a high four/five star resort. We were looked after very well, the facilities and rooms were lovely, clean and spacious. Plenty of fresh food on offer and staff were friendly and helpful. A few tweaks to make but we will come back. We found our room to be clean, spacious and close proximity to the restaurant and pool. One thing I would add is the mosquito repellents that we had to request two days into our stay as my husband got bitten whilst in the room but that is all. Out of the A La Carte restaurants: Frida was least favourite , more research & expertise into good mexican food needed. Manzoku good overall with nice options, sushi & noodles. Boulevard had delicious burgers however limited choices and no side options. Mongolian BBQ & Basilico were ok, make sure to book them in advance. The handmade Fetir (thin filled pastry) in the international restaurant is the most delicious thing we have ever had. A real effort was made for themes and decorations and also visited the spa twice which was nice but they could make it more pleasant by playing some relaxing music and not have so many men wandering around all the time.

Lovely hotel with great choice of food and entertainment . Very accomadating and friendly staff . Very children friendly , with children pool and lots of children activity . Recommend Aida for massage at spa, she was great. Only dissapointment was that hotel had no lift and with a pram that was difficult as we were placed on the third floor. Although staff offered to move us , we were told we could have ground floor after a few days and room would not have a bath which I needed to bath baby. Overall very relaxing hotel and would defiantly return !

Staff were extremely welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The new restaurants and the other innovations like water freely available and accessible at the pool were very good.
Booking online for the restaurants was easy Food in the buffet was very good and Varied and having food prepared in the restaurant, especially the fetir was excellent. We shall definitely return.

Had a fantastic time at the Mamlouk Palace Resort, food excellent, animation team great, staff very friendly. Rooms ok, cleaned every day, need updating. Over all a lovely place to relax and enjoy your holiday. Didn’t do any trips, local shopping in the mall not far to walk to. Local shops across the road but a bit of hassle which is ok.

Relaxing holiday and beautiful pool.

Beautiful place east access from all rooms to the hotel amenities and the sea. Food was varied and plentiful and service was good staff generally in a very happy helpful mood. The main pool is huge and plenty of room for all both pool bars have easy swim up access and local beer and spirits etc. There are plenty of sunloungers by the pools and at the beach and the staff are always willing to help with fetching beds and laying your towels, which you get free via a card system. The rooms are clean and stocked daily with shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and body lotion and the beds are HUGE and extremely comfortable. I agree with others that a lift would help enormously in the main building to access the lobby etc but having a ground floor room was great. The hotel is a short drive from the airport and a taxi should be no more than 200 Egyptian pounds if u haggle and 300 on the way back from the company that operates inside the hotel. There is nightly entertainment and the animation team arranges activities such as zumba and water polo. There is a children's club and a small place with a few arcade games an inflatable and a trampoline plus a huge TV for the footy etc with giant bean bags. There are also 4 specialty restaurants at the hotel that you can book that are free and 4 others that you have to pay for.

The hotel is always clean, the food was the best we have experienced in Egypt and we have been around 8 times.

The staff are very attentive and happy to help with whatever you need.
The beds were comfortable and clean.
Although we didn't join in with the entertainment we did chat with the animation team and they were great and not too pushy.
We will return to this hotel.

Lovely relaxing holiday

The hotel was inviting and friendly from the outset. We arrived late at night but were still able to eat from a cold buffet and had bread and cheeses delivered to our room. The staff were great and worked tirelessly to make sure we enjoyed our stay. The main restaurant served the best all inclusive food that we’ve experienced in Egypt. There was plenty of variety and all was of a good quality. The theme nights really were themed with a lot of effort to serve different dishes. We ate in the Mexican restaurant which was also good. The Gamila restaurant at the resort next door was not so good unfortunately. The decor is a little tired but it did not detract from our stay and our room was always very clean. There is only one main bar for use in the evening and although there is seating in and out it was sometimes difficult to find anywhere to sit. Would recommend this hotel and would be happy to go back.

Good location.easy access to both beach and pools.

Heated pool has a lovely temperature. Food is excellent and diverse. Staff welcoming and polite without encroaching on your space. Beautiful grounds, well kept. Wherever you look staff are working tirelessly. I was impressed about burners in the public toilets with changing the tea light candles regularly.

Food in the buffet is ok but there is not much vegetarian except for pizza (which was bland), chips and pasta. However after 2 meals when we mentioned this to the customer service lady Ekaterina, she introduced us to the head chef (Mahmoud) who had no problem making us something every meal that was vegetarian. After that we never went hungry to the point we never felt like we needed to go out to eat as he was making amazing dishes for us.
There are a number of restaurants you can book for dinner and there are no limitations as to how many times you can go there. Only catch is you have to book just after midnight for the next day. By 8am all restaurants are fully booked. Our favorite were Mexican and Asian. A lot of people said the grill (Payable) was also good but we didn’t go as I didn’t eat meat. The best thing was our favorite attendant (Mahmoud) was at the Asian restaurant in the evenings and he made sure everything was to our taste.
The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Shower cubicle is partitioned and very spacious which is great and bathroom is also very spacious. We were thinking that when we reach we will upgrade to master suite but when we saw our standard pool view room there was no need to.
The pool is heated. There is enough space for everyone by the pool or on the beach so there is no need to wake up at 6 to book a bed. We used to get it at 10am or even lunchtime even though the hotel was full due to festive period.

Perfect, cant fault this hotel in any way. Food, staff,rooms,bars,beach,gardens,pools . Gala eves christmas and new year luxurious worth the extra pay. Nothing too much trouble by staff and managers to make your stay 5 star experience. Food was abundant and tasty always fresh, hot and tasty. Variety at breakfast lunch and eve in main restaurant was way beyond my expectations was able to sample most of the dishes in the 23 days!! There are other restaurants on site two youncan pay extra for and two included in all inclusive but you book.. only went to asian once as was satisfied with buffet in main. Food in snack bars at beach and pool far better than other holiday snack bars been to again fresh, hot and not just chips and burger!! Room cleaned every day, fresh bedding towels and coffee tea replenished. Staff at bars attentive, friendly and super quick service. Beach clean and maintanined thoughout the day by excellant attendants just like pool areas. Gardens here are a delight and stretch from top of hotel right down to beach and again impressed by constant upkeep of trees and grass the flowers amazing. The gardeners deserve a mention for thier marticulous hard work every morning walking round removing dropped flowers and leaves removing weeds one by one keeping lawns pristine. Managers throughout our stay introduced themselves and inquired if everything was ok and if they could do anything. I got feeling our happiness paramount. Thanks mamlouk

Hotel was amazing but the rooms need a huge improvement, they're very very old fashioned. The outside, facilities and look of the hotel is very beautiful and modern but rooms were a let down.

Very comfortable & clean hotel next to a sandy beach. Excellent food, drink & service in the restaurant & snacks bars and the bars. Friendly & helpful staff. Rooms are very clean & comfortable, any problems soon sorted out. Good choice of on site restaurants. Swimming pools are excellent one heated (like a warm bath). We will certainly be returning sometime next year.

Fantastic holiday

Stayed 23rd feb - 3rd march this was my second visit and it was just as good as my first. The staff are all amazing from the helpful reception staff, the housekeeping, entertainment team, waiters everyone. The hotel is beautiful, well set out, clean and has everything you could possibly want 2 pools (1 heated) directly on the beach numerous restaurants catering all types of food even the most picky eater would find something here. The food is all hot fresh and tasty! We have very much enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning again soon. Thank you mamlouk team your all doing an amazing job!

Fabulous holiday

On arrival greeted with a drink,formalities out of the way shown to our room 16105 ground floor opposite the cold pool bar handy for a drink at the end of the day so thank you to Mohamed who had a hot chocolate waiting for my wife each day. The rooms are large with a walk in shower plenty of hot water any time of the day, comfy beds tv ours never got switched on as we did not have time as we spent so much time with the other guests have a bloody good time from breakfast until the early hours.The main restaurant has plenty to choose from so you can always find some thing to you liking ,I would just like to say to Yasser the restaurant/ bar manager A big thank you from all of us and to all your staff who made our stay so wonderful,lim sorry I can't remember all their names but you know the ones who really went out of there way to look after us please pass on our thanks. One of the pools is heated we spent most of our time ther as the bar was close by and you can also get alight lunch there so no need to walk up to the main restaurant.where ever you go you will see Yasser walking round making sure you have every think you need every hotel needs one like him. Tha animation team are brilliant, Denis Sandra Lucy Natalie And finally Medo but to name a few a grate team who get you involved from darts to water aerobics and then at night in the bar getting you taking part in activities from dancing to music quizzes,couldn't ask for a better entertainment team.

Overall the hotel has good pool, beach and water slides for kids. Internet was not available in the room and at most part of the hotel except lobby. Room furniture was old and need repair e.g cupboard, locker, no complimentary water in the room, no. of bulbs were fused, no lifts, staff was not always helpful!!

This hotel is splendid. The hotel's facilities are great. The large main pool is excellent with many shallow areas for kids, but also a substantial deep area. There is also a second smaller pool. You also have access to the sister hotel Sunrise Select Garden Resort (have also stayed here and was pleased); Garden Resort has water slides. The beach area is great as it's all sand into the water, not rocks like other hotels. Plenty of beach chairs. Food was just excellent. The head chef is always out cooking and asking people about their stay and their opinion of the food during dinner. Animation team is friendly but not in your face all the time. Seems like a fun bunch of folks. We totally hope to come back again. Only wish they has designated areas for topless bathers.

A fantastic place to stay

This is a great place to stay. Food options are super and you can use both Mamlouk and Garden Palace facilities and restaurants I.e. 2 buffet restaurants. There are lots of pool bars which also serve snacks and the food is great too. The range of drinks are great but the quality of the beer and spirits is typical of AI.

The gym is great and has a wide range of equipment, better than most hotel gyms stayed at.

The staff really are top notch and leave you wanting for nothing.

Downside is that the pool closes at 5 which is the best time of day to be out.

Lovely hotel with heated pool and private beach

This is a very nice hotel. It's got a well equipped gym, a brand new spa, a water park is going to be finished very soon and heated and non-heated pools. It's also got a private beach with water sports available. You can also use the facilities in the hotel next door. The food is varied and tasty. There are al a carte restaurants that you can book (this can be a bit of a pain because you have to book the day before you want to go using a touch screen in the reception and if you don't get up early you won't get in)

Very nice hotel

Hotel staff were fantastic. Very pleasant stay. It's a shame about the Russians as they give the hotel itself a bad name. Very rude and aggressive. Only criticism is that there are no lifts throughout the entire complex so you need to advise hotel in advance if you need a room on the ground floor. Wifi use is limited and is restricted to lobby and pool side. No adequate lighting and the entertainment needs to be improved.

Hotel was ok but we have stayed in a lot better. One or two staff very good but waiters seemed to be a bit lazy. All staff we're very friendly as we have found in most of Egypt's hotels. All in all for what you pay you shouldn't complain but you just know they could do a lot better.

Good hotel, plenty to do if you want or just chill

Just returned from 10 night stay with family and grandchildren aged 8 and 4. We had booked 3 Hotel rooms which were big with good air conditioning and cleaned daily. Water and soft drinks in mini fridge on arrival with water topped up daily. Pool area huge with adult only and quiet areas and a massive heated pool with children's slides. Food very good with plenty of choice and 3 alacarte restaurants, Asian, Mecican and Italian which we used and enjoyed. Theme nights including Sunday roast for us Brits. Location right on beach but no coral or fish to see. Hotel rooms in need of decorating which seems in hand and ongoing but no issues. Staff we came into contact with very helpful and wanted you to have a memoral holiday, Wendy in particular very good. Weather very hot but shaded areas available. Take mosquito repellant as I was bitten quite a lot. Great family holiday with no complaints and a great price for the rooms from Expedia.

We had a lovely week at Sentido Mamlouk. The staff were very helpful. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious and the beach and gardens were well maintained. The food was also very good but it was a shame most of the a la carte restaurants were not included in the all inclusive package. Lots to do with in-house tour company operators selling tours of the local town, trips to Luxor and trips diving and snorkelling with Dolphins.

Great hotel with amazing facilities

Great hotel with lovely rooms and a large number of amenities. 'Heated pool' could have been a bit warmer for winter but in summer this would not be a problem. Great choice of food in main buffets, al a carte restaurants on all inclusive were nice but offered limited vegetarian choice. Biggest complaint was the New years Eve Gala Dinner surcharge of c£80 per person for which we did not get much extra over and above the usual all inclusive options!
