Our junior suite was not so great. The shower drain/drains were always backed up! The drapes, towels & pillow covers had stains on them. Breakfast was good, and staff were always friendly! The rooms could use updating.

The view from the reception and main infinity pool are amazing. The onsite restaurant also had amazing views and nice range of food available - same menu as the infinity pool/single fin beach club (which is a shared space of the lower infinity pool). We weren't aware that you needed to pre-book day beds at the main/lower infinity pool ahead of time, so as only staying 2 nights (one full day), they were fully booked through reception. We managed to speak to the staff at the pool the next day who were able to accommodate us, but it wasn't a smooth experience and something it would have been good to know of ahead of time. The rooms were clean and comfortable, though you just need to remember to keep the door locked to your balcony as there are local monkeys that also enjoy the hotel facilities :-). Overall it was a beautiful location, view and we had a lovely stay.

Staff were very lovely, property is currently under maintenance so it's very noisy. The mobile coverage is poor and so is internet. The pools are great, the views are amazing. We were a bit bored after a couple of days. Watching the surfers was really good, it is a stunning location.

In need of an upgrade

Room was very tired looking and dated and in dire need of an upgrade. The air con was very weak. The bed sheets and towels are old and in need of replacing. It was also disappointing that it was near impossible to get a lounger by the bottom pool as they share this space with Single Fin and allow guests from outside to pre-book loungers by the pool. This also made it difficult to get towels, they were always running out of towels in the afternoon. It was quite disappointing and we'll be staying somewhere else on our next visit Uluwatu as we didn't feel this was up to the standard it should have been.

The hotel is located next to a beautiful beach & entertainment outlets. Beautiful place & beautiful view of the ocean. The hotel staff are very friendly amidst the current mood of corona virus infection. I was travelling with family & i was sharing a room with my son. I asked to be given a room with shower room, I got it almost instantly even though they are having full capacity. Overall, good experience staying at this hotel.

I was a little concerned having read some of the reviews before staying here, but the resort was beautiful. We stayed in an ocean view suite and it was lovely. The pool and grounds were gorgeous and well taken care of. The restaurant and room service were also great. We will definitely stay here again.

The experience was not fantastic as we had the Junior Suite. This had numerous issues with the A/C, door, leaking water in the bathroom etc.
We actually left one day early as the room was not up to standard.

Perfect Spot - Bad Service

The view is stunning, the party at Single Fin have so many beautiful people and great music.

Bed is not that good, pillows are really hard, service overall disappoints, it is all about the charges, I got charged for an ice bucket to have my beers cold. Like, really?

They just have the perfect spot, that keeps it alive.

Amazing hotel with even better restaurant!

Amazing hotel! The staff is always cheerful and ready to help.
As guests, we got 20% discount in the bars and restaurant inside the hotel. The restaurant is amazing (taste the steaks!). The beach nearby is also amazing, so it's really convenient!
Overall, a really pleasant experience!
Things I think it's good to be aware:
1. The nice pool with ocean view is also part of a bar attached to a hotel, so expect lots of people there. Sometimes it's hard to find a place to sit in the shadow.
2. You can't really see the beaches from the pool, but rather the bar.
3. The bar becomes some sort of party at night, so expect music until 10pm-ish.

The very beat location and view from Uluwatu if you’re surfing. Helping staff. Breakfast is amazing (with a stunning view). Close to other points by motorcycle.
Condition of the room we stayed was not great (old bathtubs/curtains). Very spacious though.

DISGUSTING! The room was infested with mosquitos, the toilet didn't work, no hot water, spattered mosquito guts all over the walls and curtains... I can go on and on... We checked out after 3 hours. DO NOT STAY HERE! The only good thing was the view from the pool. The allow glass in the pool area and there is broken glass in the pool. The whole place needs to be knocked down and rebuilt. Ordered two different glasses of wine with dinner at their restaurant and they were both hot and spoiled. They had the bottles of red wine sitting underneath lamps behind the bar... undrinkable and gross! Be careful even walking around the property as the staircases and grounds are all broken and chipped.

The location is great, the staff are friendly and helpful but the rooms really need some attention. The bedside lamp in our room exploded when I touched it and shorted the whole room, thankfully no personal harm but a little scary. Also the bathroom flooded up when showering but other than that not too bad. The weekend is super busy at nearby Single Fin and the partying goes until 2 am there and the partygoers carry on in the hotel so be prepared for the noise!

Rooms were ok but took staff 5 days to collect our empty glasses from the side of footpath.
Staff spoke poor English and weren’t very helpful at all.. especially at the family pool bar.. Not very bright staff at all. Played terrible music all day long, we couldn’t afford to lay on sunbeds at main pool, as reserved for Single Fin patrons only, needing to spend a min 1000,000rp for the privilege 😡

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights and absolutely loved it. It was way better than I expected. The breakfast was amazing with plenty to choose from. The rooms were spacious and clean. The pool was unbelievable with fantastic views of the ocean. It was paradise on earth!! Will definitely stay here next time we visit Uluwatu.

There are two infinity pools both of which are beautiful. One is by the bar and overlooks the beach, the other is higher and quieter. We booked a suite with an ocean view and it didn’t disappoint. The deck was large with comfortable chairs. The breakfast buffet was really good. An egg station. Lots of fresh fruit.
Monkeys around in the morning that were fun to watch.

Don't do it to yourself.

We checked in and were given a bedding configuration that was wrong, there was mould everywhere, there were mozzies everywhere, the so called shower didnt have a shower head, there were tiles missing and the paint was literally peeling off the walls and the plumbing noise was nice and consistent of pipes shaking.
We moved into another room thw following day. Correct bedding this time, less mould and a shower head was present, however make sure you get up early to get hot water. The toilet after a few days decided it woypd continually flush. We aksed twice for it to be fixed - apparently it's just bad luck . If you pretend it is a waterfall, it might be really soothing to go to sleep.
Feeling like whinging, after three days of listening to obscene language in the music being played, we told reception that we couldn't take our child to the pool because we didn't want the lyrics of m... f..er, kill all the f...n copa,
she wants to f... me being played over and over.
To top it off, the pool gets crowded by people coming in from.ohtside the accomodation- so no seats or towels left for hotel guests, quite amazing really. This hotel is totally on the way out and they don't care in the slightest.

This was the most DISGUSTING hotel I've ever stayed at. There is MOLD all over the room. I literally would not go into the bathroom because there was so much mold I just used the public bathrooms.

We told them we were on our honeymoon and they put us in a room with 2 twin beds pushed together. We were supposed to stay for 3 nights but only stayed for one and left. They put up a fight about a refund and we had to argue because we were literally breathing in mold while we slept.

Do not be fooled by the view and the pool when you arrive. That belongs to Single Finn Resort and NOT Blue Point. The rooms do NOT match what you see when you first walk in.

The building is much older than it appears in the pictures. Inside the rooms are relatively clean and maybe i have a really high standard for clean bc my mom was always OCD about cleaning. But the building has definitely seen better days. The pool is in great shape and has an amazing view. And there is a fun bar/restaurant right next to the pool that has some good music going. The employees that work here are great tho and very very helpful

Save yourself the money

When we arrived at this hotel we expected it be older as we had been warned by friends but were told the view were worth it. The views are stunning. Nothing else was.
Upon our arrival there seemed to be minimal staff...2 , only two for the hotel. We went walking and very quickly it seemed something was wrong. Three quarters of the property was shut down and over grown. It was like in a horror film when a town is abdoned... No spa, no restaurant, no pool away from hustle of single fin. Nothing only the main pool which is open to the public and people of single fin.
Breakfast was served at single fin, no seperate restaurant.
Single fin is awesome but to eat every meal there with the music pumping fighting for a seat is not fun.
When we complained we were told by the manager he’d do something he’d had many complaints and people leaving as they had recently been taken over so things were not running smoothly.
He offered one free lunch. We were staying 4 nights and explained this wasn’t good enough. We asked for a refund which was refused. After going back and forth all day with the manager which was very stressful And realising no money would be returned to us We were able to make the point that that they were advertising something they could not deliver. We ended up getting free lunch meals each day we were there from single fin to compensate us.
It was something we had to fight for, I would not recommend staying here. The view was stunning but that’s it.

Hotel with amazing sea views

Staff were unfriendly. Chalet was in bad shape. Broken side lamp, mosquito netting falling down in one corner and dirty at the bottom, door had flimsy lock and the upstairs/outdoor lounge was unusable. Balcony rail was broken and the outdoor sofa cushions were dirty. The main pool had slime on the tiles and some of the tiles were broken and sticking up. Not what u would expect for the price. If it was a cheap hotel, you wouldn’t mind but it charges five star rates.

It is a lovely place to have a holiday. Everyone is so nice and friendly and the room was very big and very clean. We had someone coming to clean every day of our stay. Pool is amazing with an amazing view but if you’re looking to have a nice and relaxing time at the pool you won’t find a relaxing environment. There’s a bride parade happening where they take pictures at the pool and is just one after the other one where the photographers just yell all the time plus the group of tourists coming every day as well to just stay the day at the pool. We weren’t lucky as every day was very very noisy at the pool.

The only part of the premises in good condition is the ‘chapel’ area where couples queue for wedding photos.
The big infinity pool with the fabulous view is chained off to other guests. And there are signs exhorting guests to be quiet while the photo shoots take place. All day, every day.
The location is amazing.
The hotel is not!

Booked into a superior room, the smell and condition was disgusting, was upgraded but to be honest that was not much better. The pool and view save this resort. The downside to the pool is the weddings - 10 to 12 a day, not a nice experience. My advise stay elsewhere.

Amazing spot to check the surf and relax in the amazing infinity pool. Staff are super friendly and eager to please. You have to stay at the deluxe suites to get this experience, as some of the older rooms are not so delightful. This room has a lounge area as well, making it perfect for families.

Wow! Where Do I even begin! Don't go here to relax! My husband and I went there for are honeymoon and we got a two story villa which the top story smelt so BAD that we could never even use the up stairs part of the villa. Next they were doing construction (which I was first happy to see since they place looks run down) on the villa right next to us so we woke up to 5 or 6 men work working less then 10 ft away and they would work until the evening so needless to say we had ZERO privacy for the 4 days after are wedding. Not to mention they were banging and using tools all day long so no relaxing or trying to take a nap. We asked if we could maybe change rooms as we weren't able to up upstairs part anyway and they said no without even checking the system. The pool was a absolute ZOO. There is zero chance to relax as there is 3 weddings going on at all times. There are photographers yelling across the pool all day long at the couples. Also there are about 15-30 weddings here a day. Not relaxing at all. Also the place looks super run down. Black mold everywhere with zero maintenance on any of the building or sidewalks. We had two bathtubs in are villa and you couldn't pay me to get in either of them. All you are paying for is the view... Which you might as well just have a dinner at single fin and hit the road. I will be returning to Bali and I will make sure to not stay here again. I am so sad we picked this place for are honeymoon.

The only thing good about this hotel is it’s local to great surf break and the pool (which closed at 8pm beware!). Overall property looks and feels run down. Our room was very dirty with visual dirt and stains on the floor and walls. Bathtub was black with grim. The worst part was we woke up to two large frogs jumping around our room! Didn’t sleep a wink and checked out.

Could not use eiother pool- 7 weddings in one day that closed the children's pool- one of the main reasons for booking the hotel, pool was so filthy dirty with green algae that my daughter and I got ear infections the first day and the 2nd pool was unusable due to gardening making the pool filthy and many underwater lights were out of their sockets and sitting at the bottom of the pool. Filters were broekn causing dangerous holes at the bottom of the pool. At the front pool the pool boys begged aroiund for tips beforte they would do anything for you and we asked 2x for them to open the big umbrellas as it was blazing hot and he refused so i had to do it myself. Complained to front desk but they couldn't care less.Overall the condition of the property was mediocre but they are asking top prices.Beds were horrible- like sleeping on wooden planks. Left after the first night. Not recommended at all and hotels.com should not represent this property.

Pool was great views were amazing and right next to single fin, monkeys around the pool in the morning staff were great. Room was dark and smelly could be a lot better no shower either only bath BUT DO NOT EAT IN RESTAURANT! Half way through eating the fish an chips realised the fish was covered in dead ants! Had all been dried together. Absolutely revolting would never ever eat in that restaurant so save yourself the money and go next door to single fin

Beautiful views from infinity pool but rooms need major renovations. We booked superior room and were unable to stay there, therefore requested upgrade. We were offered junior suite with ocean view really overlooking construction and had issues with hot water in our suite but this was resolved quickly. Rooms are tired but kept clean. Hotel staff and management respond to issues effectively and try to find possible solutions. Ladies working at Olive SPA are incredible and made our experience unforgettable. Overall not a bad stay for a few nights but could be better. I would only recomnend this hotel because of location. Balangan beach and Single Fin bar is just steps away, Uluwatu Temple is about 7 min drive by car.

The restaurant and bar closes at 22:30 with no room service available after 22:30 and no drinks available in the room other than water. There is a fridge provided but it is kept empty. The hotel itself has quite a tired feel to it, although in general the room is comfortable enough. I would unlikely return as it does not suit my purposes, but the swimming pool area and views are beautiful.

Great Location, Great Rooms but.....

Great location in Uluwatu overlooking Single Finn, fantastic new rooms which were very spacious and had everything you needed. Wifi was the best of any hotel we stayed at in Bali. Beautiful pool with some of the best views you can get in Bali with the occasional wedding happening as well which was quite unusual to see 3 different brides having photos around the pool?!

Difficult to get around without a scooter as hotel staff weren't too helpful with directions or organising any taxi service as the taxi service out the front seems to have the monopoly with crazy expensive prices to match!

Great rooms as well but we were a little uneasy to see the villa next door to ours burnt to the ground!! Supposedly due to faulty wiring which the staff wouldn't elaborate on as with a thatched roof and wooden exterior it would go up in flames in seconds!

The fact that people can buy 'day passes' to the hotel pool isn't great as were regularly inundated with people ruining our pool side experience by using it as a pre drinking session before Single Finn or recovery session after Single Finn. The Hotel really needs to assess if this is necessary income as it really does ruin the pool experience of a relaxing time in Bali.

Get used to the sound of pumping music either coming from Single Finn or the new beach club next door which was trying to out do Single Finn with even louder tunes and crowd.

Great time in Uluwatu but just be wary of the above before you click stay!

Amazing Li action- perfect views for sunsets. The infinity pool was just stunning and well kept. The rest of the hotel is in dire need of renovation and maintenance. Appalled by the state of the bathroom with lots of mould all over, Not acceptable for a supposed 4 star hotel..!

Blue Point Bay Deluxe Suite

My experience at Blue Point Bay Villas and Spa was overall very enjoyable. All the staff there were very helpful and friendly and not to hard to understand. The room (deluxe suite) was very well presented on arrival and matched the description shown online. The resort as a whole was much bigger than I expected but staff do a very good job of maintaining the cleanliness around the whole resort and the design makes it very easy to get around the place.
As always though with every large resort there were a few minor problems. The first morning I was woken up by a VERY loud generator which was located somewhere close to my room. When I asked reception they said there is nothing they could do as it is a backup generator for when the main power is down. Understandable, but very annoying! Also due to the way the rooms are constructed (majority timber frames and straw roofing) It's quite hard to block out outside noise and stop mosquitoes coming in, as I found out when the people next door checked in at very early hours one morning. Besides those minor issues everything was fine. I also give a huge thumbs up to the restruant staff who provide great food throughout the day. Eating at the hotel restruant was a pleasure, good food with an amazing view of Uluwatu beach. Follow that up with a swim and a drink at the infinity pool next door and you dont regret your decision to stay at Blue Point Bay.
All in all very relaxing and enjoyable stay!

Very run down NOT luxury but with the price tag

The pool and restaurant were nice with awesome views. But the rest of the hotel was run down: broken lights, leaking toilets, smelly rooms, rock hard beds, weeds growing everywhere and we even had a rat in our cupboard!

If you love the pool I would recommend to get a day pass and stay somewhere else.

The location was great, right next to the popular SingleFin.

The room was very big, room service came fast, and was quite. There are bugs that get into the room, but you're on the water/near rainforest like place...it's bound to happen.

Service good, but was a little irritated when I asked a lady at front desk to call airport and the airline to make sure flight wasn't cancelled or delayed due to the volcano erruption, and she hesitated to help me and told me I should habe gotten a SIM card.

Great pool with beautiful view.

Amazing views from the pool and restaurant. Rooms are getting a bit tired but are comfortable. Pool is very busy in the mornings as groups that are not staying at the hotel come to use the pool and leave at midday.

Great location but run down everything else

The view from the pool was amazing. That was the only positive. The room was in need of a make over n uncomfortable beds. There was broken tiles that you could cut yourself on , torn curtains, very poor Y fi and mostly didn't work. The breakfast was poor , no selection , no hot food ( eggs or bacon) , which was part of two other places we stayed. Very disappointing .

Amazing view but terrible rooms

I just stayed here for a few days and it was very disappointing. I thought that was very overpriced for what you got. The first room that we were given was absolutely disgusting and smelled very bad. There were stains all over ceiling and walls. We had complained to hotel staff and they were very nice and accommodating The room they upgraded us to a villa which was a lot better but it still was not up to par. There was no hot water the showerhead was taped on the rooms were very dark and dingy this whole hotel could use a big remodel and for the price it was not worth the money. The only good things about it are the amazing view and pool, and the hotel staff is very nice.

Old resort with good views next to Blue point

The resort is nice and good view, but the rooms are old, dirty. The bathroom sink was rusty, they need to invest some money to refurbish the rooms to have customers feel better stay.

The rubbish out the side of the hotel (which was our view was disgusting). Also empty bottles we had left on the balcony area were thrown out to this side paddock by the cleaners. No toiletries were replaced during stay & far too many tour buses coming daily just walking through taking photos. Also the whole stay not once could we use the cliff top pool due to weddings everyday.

The Best Position in Uluwatu

The staff were fantastic and this was amazing value for money. The rooms were huge, clean and comfortable. The pool is probably the most picturesque in Bali. Then there is \"Single Fin\" the bar which is at your doorstep. Everything was 10/10. The only downside was the constant flow of tourists and wedding photos that get bused in and take photos by the pool. It is hard to relax when there are photographers, drones, even tourists literally sitting on the end of your daybed to take photos. But I will definitely stay here again.

Heaven on a cliff

We were so lucky to get upgraded to the honeymoon suite/villa for our stay!

It was a private villa garden and pool on a cliff looking over the ocean! Honestly stunning! The villa was huge (bathroom bigger than our bedroom). The main hotel pool was phenomenal - infinity looking over a cliff into the ocean and right next door to Single Fin bar so you can listen to their awesome music!

The facilities are starting to run down though but worth paying for location and view!

Amazing pool and breakfast, average rooms

The room was not too impressive and a little run down, however acess to the amazingly beautiful pool area on the cliff was worth it. The breakfast was also great.

Wonderful place to stay!

We were upgraded to a cliff side villa on arrival, it was a breathtaking villa with beautiful views over Blue Point Bay. The area was perfect with the beach and Single Fin less than 1 minute away. Beautiful Pedang Pedang beach only a short taxi ride away too.

Amazing location and view second to none !!!

Simply put an amazing location, the room was a bit tired but for the views you experience daily and also the comfort of having everything you need whilst being out of the main towns and locations i.e. kuta, you simply must experience this place, staff were amazing, I will definitely be returning as soon as possible.
