Overall nice hotel, but room I stayed is street side and see through from outside. It has few reasons, one side is all windows and 2 kinds of curtains one is too dark and one still see through from the restaurant customers next door. No privacy. Breakfast buffet is very reasonable and change menu every day.

Our stay at Maitria Hotel Sukhumvit 18 was a mix of positives and disappointments.

Unfortunately, one of the biggest issues was the constant noise coming from the machine room next to our room. We raised the concern, but sadly nothing was done to fix or mitigate it, making it very difficult to get proper rest during our stay.

While not the hotel’s direct responsibility, it’s worth mentioning that there are many rats in the surrounding area at night, which can be uncomfortable for guests walking nearby after dark. Additionally, the strong and unpleasant smell from the outside strainers, including near the entrance, was quite overwhelming and detracted from the overall experience.

On a positive note, huge applause for the cleaning team and some of the bell boys, they were truly the highlight of our stay. Friendly, professional, and always willing to help, they made a real difference and deserve special recognition.

The breakfast was okay, but quite limited for vegetarians. The layout was also problematic, as pork dishes were mixed closely with other items, which may be uncomfortable for guests with dietary preferences or restrictions.

Overall, the hotel has potential and some wonderful staff members, but the noise issues, surrounding environment, and breakfast limitations significantly affected our experience.

All the staff were friwnsly and helpful specially Noom. He went above and beyond to help us and feel welcomed. He gave us great information whenever we ask for reccommendations. The room is clean and the breakfast was excwllwnt. The only thing I would correct will be the pastry area because there is only one toaster.

My stay was great, our bathroom door handle fell off but other than that it was 10/10. AC worked great, room was clean and well stocked, free drinks in the fridge upon arrival. Housekeeping also came in everyday and tidied up and restocked the fridge with water. Front desk was very kind and patient, breakfast buffet had variety and was tasty. And I like that this hotel had a designated area for vehicles to pull up anytime we were coming back via a grab or our deliveries were getting delivered. I will stay here again. Thank you all!

Great hotel awesome breakfast, only if they could do something about their sagging no support pillows, and air conditioning
Their pillows are just atrocious, I need a chiropractor session for my backpain after sleeping on it for several nights. And Air conditioning it is either made room super cold or super damp, there seems to be only the two binary choices.

Hotel property .. appearances and finishes including amenities are all perfect. Overall amazing and highly recommend.. small issue almost nonexistent.. SOME OF the staff are a bit too involved or curious in personal guest matters. I think the best way to put it is nosiness. I've had attempts to hack my devices using their public WiFi..

Below average “VIP” property. The staff were awesome and friendly. Location is convenient. The property is quote worn and could use an update. The worst part of the stay was the noise. The walls seem to be paper thin and you can hear everything from the lobby or other rooms. The street noise is loud too.

If you're looking for a quiet and restful place, the. Loom elsewhere. If you're looking for a good location, then this is a good spot.

I had a truly wonderful experience staying at Maitria Hotel Sukhumvit 18 in Bangkok. From the moment I arrived, the staff at the front desk were incredibly welcoming and professional. Their hospitality made check-in smooth and pleasant, and they were always available to help with any questions or needs throughout the stay.

The room was spacious, clean, and modern, with thoughtful amenities like a kitchenette, a comfortable bed, and a smart layout. It’s perfect for both short visits and longer stays. The air conditioning worked well, and the Wi-Fi connection was fast and reliable.

Stayed for 3 weeks here, can’t fault the staff, very helpful and friendly. Very clean, they clean and replenish the rooms daily.

Location was central and easy access to MRT BTS and Terminal 21. Local pharmacy and 7/11 just a short walk.

We had the deluxe suite with kitchenette, there was no cooking equipment when we got there, but asked at desk and they supplied it very quickly.

Great place with very nice big rooms. Our had a kitchen and large fridge. Pool area was nice on the roof. Doorman was very friendly and helpful. Bangkok traffic is super bad, but took Grabs everywhere and was very affordable. Breakfast was free and had lots of options. Would recommend it to anyone.

The staff was outstanding. We had a few questions during our five night stay, and the staff at reception were always professional, efficient, pleasant and extremely helpful. This really enhanced our visit and I would definitely return. We found the hotel to be ideally situated and the breakfast was plentiful, with a good selection of choices. The hotel is on a side street that is blessedly quiet, and only a few minutes walk from the main road and to Terminal 21, as well as to the Asok subway station. The room was clean, the shower and toilet both worked well, and the air conditioning was very effective. Good value for the money!

The hotel is less than 10 mins from Asoke BTS station. The room was spacious and bright. Breakfast was ok. Front desk staff were very helpful & friendly. We had a few issues with our room and they responded quickly and rectified the problems. Housekeeping, however, was poor. The toilet seat cover in our bathroom seemed like it hadn't been wiped in a loooooong time and there was a brown drop stain on our toilet seat. The beddings weren't changed daily, just re-made. They has once hung a towel with a brown spot on it...the spot was facing outwards so how can they not have seen it? Amenities were not completely replenished, always missing an item or two, especially slippers - we always had to call down. I would definitely stay here again if housekeeping can improve.

This hotel is situated in an ideal location, both for public transport from the airport and for getting around to other parts of Bangkok due to its proximity to the metro. It is also in a lovely area with lots going on, lots of shops and lots of places to eat at. It is also near a couple of nice parks so ideal if you are a runner.

The rooftop pool is small but makes up for it in cleanliness, temperature and surrounding space. There are only around 10 sunloungers but they are great quality and really comfy. The gym is also really good for a hotel gym.

The only downside really to this hotel is the breakfast which leaves a lot to the imagination. Not much choice and what was on offer was only average at best. However, this would not put me off staying again.

We upgraded our rooms and they were terrific. We had problems with our toilet from the very start and they were really prompt in servicing it. However, they did not clean up after they serviced it and we had to do it. Other than that, very good and no complaints.
