This is a very cute boutique hotel in a quiet area of Bangkok, though it is walking distance to many shops and restaurants. We chose this hotel because we wanted a balcony, and something close to the bus station.
The room was very small, but the balcony was good, the breakfast was mediocre, but the pool area was nice. The best part of this hotel is the staff - every single person I spoke with was friendly and helpful - they really go above and beyond.

I am really disappointed to say that in this hotel that your personal possessions are not safe even when using the room safe.we have just found out that after returning to our home country after some one attempted to use our credit card to purchase over 200000 baht worth of goods.
There was considerable construction work going on for the duration of our stay and we were not for warned nor offered any alternative or compensation.
So very sad as every where else we stayed in Thailand was amazing. We had nothing but kindness during our month stay throughout Thailand. We love Thailand and it’s amazing people just not this hotel. So very sad.

The first room I was given had a bathroom door that wouldn’t close all the way. The staff was very kind to quickly move me to another room and included a free upgrade as well. However, the phone in this room didn’t work and one of the towels was riddled with holes. Once pointed out to staff however, quick resolutions were provided again.

The breakfast included a variety of cuisines but the options were limited and the chef for the eggs was often missing from the station with many dishes being refilled belatedly.

Very close to Thong Lor BTS! Staff was amazing! I really loved this place. The parking wasnt great, but thats the case with most places in BKK. The rooms were a little outdated, but very clean and well maintained. I really loved the location as its tucked away on a back road. I would highly recommend this hotel if you want something a little further away from the busy parts of BKK.

Hotel small and pleasant. Our first room had a fence across the whole window so we asked to be moved. They moved us straight away no issues. The night we arrived there were people in the bar until 2 am it was very noisy. The walls in the rooms are very thin we could hear our neighbours phone alarm go off in a morning and easily hear people talking. Our last night we had a very noisy lady in the room next door who was having a very loud argument over the telephone from 8:30pm to midnight we called reception twice to complain they didn’t do anything. She stopped at 12 and started again at 2 am still shouting (we could hear every word she was saying) when we checked out at 8am. Obviously noisy clients are not the hotels fault but they did nothing to try and alleviate the issue. Breakfast good, some nice touches in reception candy floss and popcorn etc. handy for the BTS

We had a lovely stay here for three nights. The staff are really helpful and kind. We were upgraded to a nicer room at no cost and without asking. In particular, Wilson went out of his way to help us with settling in and taking care of our baggage.

The only issue we encountered was that there were small ants in our bathroom. The staff did help immediately when we notified them but the ants ended up coming back. Despite this, we still had an excellent stay!

The staff were friendly. Complimentary drink and popcorn at check in. The hotel was clean. The pool was small and there was also a sauna. However, we were not happy with our stay. We had a room on the second floor and we did not get any sleep at night due to the club music downstairs. We called front desk requesting a different room but they said they were fully booked. We could hear EVERY WORD of every song until closing at 3am! We then had to get up 1.5 hours later at 4:30am and we checked out around 5am for our flight. I recommend getting a room on a higher floor if the club will be open during your stay.

The location is also convenient, about a 5-minute walk from Thong Lo Station, with various restaurants, massage shops, and convenience stores nearby. Their favourite comment was please wait for 5-10 minutes sir. From check-in at 5pm I had to wait for my room to be ready. When asking to take the tuktuk that was ready to go. Then check-out was please wait again… Room was nothing special and smelt bad both in the room and bathroom. Wouldn’t stay again with so many other options around.

The hotel was nice for a quick stop in BKK. I arranged a car transfer which was helpful and check in/ out was speedy. Most of the staff were nice, but I did feel like one of the staffers were giggling at the fact that I couldn’t figure out my currency/ money counting situation quickly. It’s in an alley which I don’t recall seeing in the description, but the neighborhood felt safe and there were lots of food, shopping, and massage options nearby. Be mindful of the window/ windowless options in case you went to see the world outside. I had a windowless and ended up sleeping my entire day away

Hotel was in a good location - short walk to the BTS station. Room that we had was small and outdated especially the bathroom. It was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was was a little less than. Not a lot of choice and the egg station was not always available. They did provide all ready cooked eggs if you are ok with that. Would I return, no. There are a lot of hotels to choice from in Bangkok will choice one that has a more modern rooms and a better breakfast.

Nice little hotel in a great location within walking distance to Sukhumvit Rd. Staff were all great, rooms were clean and breakfast was well organised. The hotel is 250 metres from the BTS and is an easy walk to Terminal 21 among other things. Highly recommend La Petite Salil as a mid-priced hotel in a great area.

After reading some reviews I was worried - I was therefore pleasantly surprised. This was an excellent hotel for the price. In a location near to public transport and accessible, breakfast included and a swimming pool. This isn’t a five star hotel, but for the price paid could not have hoped for any more. For budget travel I would most certainly recommend.

It was so appreciated, and gave us time to rest before exploring later in the day. Its a close walk to the BTS Thong Lor station and the pool is so refreshing after a long day of walking around.

A nice little boutique hotel with a nice pool and sauna(as well as a gym but I didn’t use)

Everything you need for a great night stay with clean rooms and at a great price.

Slight 1-2 minute walk into the main drag, but perfect for us as we have a friend that lives on Sulumvit 49 2 blocks down and the other way was the main strip.

Most definitely be staying again.

My honest review of la petit Salil at thonglor

Check in experience is ok nothing to wow. Not particularly warm
Or pleasantly impressionistic. Prob I arrived at the time when staff were having dinner n my checkin somewhat disrupted their meal time.

A little shock when the chambermaid intentionally left me a note that “amenities can be purchased from the front desk” on the second/third day after seeing me finishing my daily entitlement.

While the room is spacious n well laid out, it unfortunately shares the same narrow walkway or corridors of diners at the cafe which I had to manoeuvre skilfully which would otherwise knock chair of the diners seated along that passage. Not to say about the noise generated from utensils and cutleries from the diners and waiters in the morning if u stay in such room assigned to me.

That said, the room is quite self sufficient although the furniture looks a little vintage. It comes with hair dryer, a mini umbrella and a microwave oven. V thoughtful gesture. The mini fridge provided is actually quite big compared to other 5 star hotel.

The only person whom
I felt warm
N pleasant is Wilson, the concierge. He provides free shuttle rides to thonglor bts from 7 am to 7 pm. It was a pity that it was his sullen n grouchy colleague who dropped us at the bts station on our last day. No greetings or even a gesture to help with our luggage.

This hotel is for those who want no frills or no element of pleasant experience in bkk.

Fall from grace?

This has been my go-to hotel in Bangkok. I was expecting less in these belt-tightening post-COVID days, but was gratified to note some actual improvements: bidet/douche attachments on the toilets and much improved toiletries, for instance. On the other hand, the breakfast buffet is about 15% less lavish than before, and the scrambled eggs are best described as lonely curds in egg soup. Oh well.

I woke up after a couple of hours of sleep on my first night to an odor resembling that of Bangkok sewage and/or dead animal coming from the room A/C. The staff admirably had me in a new room within half an hour. Unfortunately the new room was next to the previous one, so guess what I began smelling a couple of hours later. The manager did ask me after breakfast if the new room were satisfactory, and I had to answer negatively; the staff told me to pack my bags and await a phone call for another room. That call never came. Granted, they had a repairman out to fix the A/C in the defective room, and the odor began to subside in my new room, so I decided it wasn't worth pressing the issue. But that was a morning wasted.

Accidents happen, but I'm not sure I'll be staying there again.

Thai pass 1 day quarantine test and go program

We did the Test & Go (1 day quarantine in this hotel). they picked us up from the airport and had a nurse to do the test in the hotel. Overall experience was good, the only reason I wouldn't say it was great I had to wait 1h to be picked up from the airport and 22h for my covid test (I did the test at 6pm got the result at 4pm next day). My friend had his test at 10am and his result came back at 8pm. The staff were nice and friendly but it was difficult to understand their accents sometimes.

Highly recommend.

Enjoyed every minute of our three week stay and give a full 20/20 rating. There are some minor issues, too small to affect our stay, but may concern others.
Some extension work is ongoing but the management went to great lengths to minimize inconvenience to guests (and it is nearing completion), the swimming pool is on the small side and you need to rely on train or taxi services to get to the main tourist locations.
We will certainly stay here again on our next visit to Thailand.

This is in a great neighborhood of Sukhumvit and close to a lot of nice restaurants and bars. Had some issues with cleanliness and floor mat in the shower was covered with mold. Wasn’t able to connect to wifi from our room and when I notified the front desk I was told to try a better website. Only hotel we stayed at in all of Thailand with issues. Didn’t have access throughout our stay. Hotel bar is very popular and we had people moving in and out under our window throughout the night. Didn’t sleep much.

This room been built 8 years ago but can say stil maintained well only wooden floor not very stable will mk some creak noise especially during the midnight can be heard clearly. Overall is great experience

Wonderful staff - Nancy and the rest of the front office staff and the cafeteria crew were just fantastic, as is the conceirge guy who flags the cab for me daily.

Very comfortable hotel for the price. Decor is really pretty! Nice just chilling in the cafe or pool in the evenings. Great location, just a walk out to good food, massage and the BTS in Thonglor.

Will stay again :)

The hotel is clean, neat, and the staff is nice and attentive. The breakfast is very good. The location is close to the subway station.
But the hotel’s room insulation is really bad.. You can hear everything of your next door neighbor, which bother me a lot!
