This is a very nice hotel with an excellent spa and restaurant. The beds were hard, but some people prefer them hard. The location is very convenient and the pricing is excellent. Loved the restaurant. Breakfast is pretty much the same every day, but hey, it's included. No complaints.

Las camas necesita un buen update! Son muy duras pero con el cansancio te quedas dormido. El baño tenía grietas pero estaba update. El agua del aire se escuchaba duro en el baño pero no en el cuarto. Great hotel at an affordable price. We stayed for 4 nights and have to say I am quite impressed with the quality of the service, always delivered with a smile. Room as clean and relatively spacious, the food at the restaurant by the pool is of the highest quality offering local dishes and outstanding service. I also tried the SPA, and they were able to accommodate a massage on short notice. Certainly when traveling to Bucaramanga in the future I will stay here again.

We got stained towels, an overstuffed fridge that caused and accident and were basically called liars by the staff. We also paid exorbitant fees unfairly for attempting to clean the mess of glass from the overstuffed fridge. It definitely feels as if our nature of tipping and taking care of the staff was taken advantage of and when asked to speak to someone in charge of everyone, we were given a runaround and not resolved at all. Will never stay here again and don’t recommend it given the staffs multiple times that we were taken for fools and ripped off.

What was unique about the property is that the front lobby was entirely open to the fresh air and so was the restaurant. I liked the relaxed, friendly and helpful staff. The food was healthy and delicious. The music in the restaurant was soft and relaxing. The room was spacious, clean with laundry service and bar fridge available. I have been very happy here.

Checking in took around 30-40 minutes. I guess the receptionist was a bit lost since the rest of the staff was very helpful afterwards. The room was definitely not 4* . And Saturday night was awful with the music from the street running full volume until 2am, even if we were in the 10th floor. Other than the music the location is fine.

This hotel was cool and all, but for the pricing and the hype around it... I expected more. It's your average hotel with regular amenities. In the states, I've stayed at hotels that were cheaper and more luxurious. Not throwing shade, I just feel like it lacked an image. The staff behaved well.

I give this hotel a Very good rating , the breakfast was fantastic , a variety of fresh fruit and juices, not the kind that comes in a can ,, local pastries, scrambled and boiled eggs with nice trimmings , cereal ,different cheeses desserts ,even soup ,and not to forget good coffee and hot chocolate, lets just say bring your appetite , the staff was very pleasant and welcoming , frim the receptionist to the guard at the entrance , the hotel parking was very secure ,the room was good ,nice and clean spacious and ample hot water ,the bathroom was nicely organized separating the toilet and shower from the vanity area ,the room was relatively quiet considering the amount of festivities going on ,the pool was fine ,there was a movie playing on a giant screen every night at the poolside , there was a mini fridge in the room but no coffee maker ,the TV was adequate , but all is in Spanish .the gym was adequate to keep up your exercise routine and there is also a spa, overall me and my family had a very pleasant experience.

Hotel is good in every sense but unfortunately it is surrounded by other small cheap hotels used by prostitutes and customers, bars, and clubs competing to see who plays the loudest music. Some of those clubs are open until 4:00 AM making it impossible to sleep. TOO BAD.

Our room was comfortable and clean. The cost for use of slippers was 20000 pesos - expensive for slippers. TV had limited English channels - I am Canadian. Breakfast buffet was amazing with good variety. Reception was helpful and friendly with all our questions and concerns. We would come back.

My fiancee and I stayed 4 nights...nice breakfast atmosphere,shower room,gym was ok with old equipments. Sometimes gym is lock you have to call them to unlock. Housekeeper daily cleans your room with room door wide open that mosquitoes goes in and im worried of malaria. Mosquitoes wakes me up buzzling in your ears. My room was in the 8th floor with a nice city view but facing west/east where it makes your room so hot. Room is in the front side of hotel towards a major street and every night at sunset till 2-4 a.m. Are very loud music from dance clubs and stores,people talking loud partying all night,car alarm going off constantly. Day and night you can hear motorcycles,buses,cars rev their engines,honking...not so peaceful . I would get a room away from front. It was hard to sleep at night. Smokers will smoke in front of lobby where chairs and tables are situated outdoors,but the glass door is wide open that second hand smokes gets in and pollutes the lobby. It's 32000 pesos for a taxi to the airport. Final thing, hotel should provide facial tissues in the room for my allergies from second hand smokes and pollution. Overall, hotel is excellent. I offered my fiancee to try a different hotel next Time but she said she would stay here again because she liked it too and it's centralized near the mega mall and restaurants,away from floridablanca where she lives and work.

Good Hotel and Location

The hotel and room was very and comfortable except the bed which is very hard. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was very good. The gym was well equipped to burn off some calories at the end of the day. I will definitely stay there on my next trip.

This is a very nice choice if you are staying in Bucaramanga. This city does not offer a \"nice\" variety of hotels. From the moment we got there the service was really good. The rooms are spacious and clean. Very nice area to walk but you can always take a taxi or Uber. They have a nice gym, and beautiful pool with a restaurant bar. You have to try their ceviche... yummm.. The only negative is that they had a baby shower by the pool and it took them 40 minutes to bring us the menu. The guy was nice, but we left after nobody was even paying attention to us. I recommended. :-)

IMPOSSIBLE to catch a night's sleep!

Hotel is not bad, but it is nowhere near being a top hotel in Bucaramanga, and I personally would NEVER stay here again for a variety of reasons which I will detail in this post.
Let me begin with the POSITIVES: The hotel's facilities are simple but nice, the rooms are spacious and with all the necessary accessories, and clean. The hotel also serves a good breakfast which is varied.
The NEGATIVES: It is impossible to sleep in this hotel. The hotel is in the middle of a bunch of very loud bars and clubs which blast music all night long (no matter if its a monday night or a friday night.) According to the hotel, theyve already sued a lot of the bars in the area to keep the music down.. but apparently its a tough battle they are struggling with.You will NOT sleep, or rest in this hotel. So I would not recommend any business traveler, or tourist who is looking to sleep at night. However, if you're going to Bucaramanga to party, and be next to all the bars, then it might be for you.
Another negative is the reception staff, especially a lady (who i cannot remember her name.) She was very rude when we told her about the room, and instead of understanding our frustration, she tried to excuse it and was very defensive. As if it wasn't enough, she threatened us that she was going to check security cameras because she had seen my cousin a lot at the hotel and she wasn't a hotel guest (even though she wasn't staying there, just visiting us and having breakfast which we paid)

Worst 3 Star Hotel Ever

This is the worst \"3 Star\" hotel I have EVER stayed in. The property needs a MAJOR renovation - everywhere. It is over-priced. We stayed in a so-called suite. It was shabby. No king bed. Lights in the bathroom kept flickering - despite being \"repaired\" during our stay. The shower head was worn out so water just trickled. It was the worst stay I've ever had and I travel all the time and to Colombia at least once a month. Breakfast was scanty and well below 3 Star standards. The gym was tiny and poorly equipped. No irons are availabble. You HAVE to use their dry cleaning service - of course for a fee. Unlike, for example, the Dann Hotel you are charged if you order in from a local restaurant. The ONLY redeeming quality was the young lady in the so-called Business Center. She was very professional and pleasant. The Center itself is very outdated and poorly equipped. They served cold coffee with no creamer. When I asked for creamer, I was told that they do NOT provide it in the Center. Simply totally unacceptable - and unbelievable. Shameful.

I had heard good things about this hotel but it is definitely overrated. The room was supposed to have been recently renovated which I had to pay extra for so that I could get the \"better\" room but either the front desk staff was lying or I would hate to have seen the rooms that were not renovated. Front desk service also forgot to tell me that if I wanted to use the old room safe, they would have to give me a key/lock so I had to return for it. The remaining staff was fine. The bed was the least comfortable bed I have ever slept on. I was expecting or king or a queen but it was just a small full-size bed. I literally woke up with red marks on my hips from sleeping on my side... sort of like sleeping on the floor. I kept the air conditioner off all night because it was too loud. Unfortunately, the room was on the front side of the hotel and even though I was on the 5th floor and the windows were closed, it was loud. Luckily I had earplugs. The bathroom was very small. You could not open the door and access the sink as the door would be in your way. The first night, it took about 5 minutes before the hot water started working in the shower. Water pressure was weak so taking a shower was not exactly comfortable. Breakfast was decent and service was good. It was nice to sit by the pool to eat. The neighborhood was nice so no safety issues. Checkout was fairly fast and convenient. But the hotel was definitely not worth the $*/night. I have stayed in much better hotels in the US for less than 1/3 the price.

El hotel Chicamocha pudo ser bueno en una época, pero Lo han dejado deteriorar y jamás podría considerarse un hotel de cinco estrellas, a lo sumo tres estrellas. Yo estaba en una suite, no obstante la vista Int no era agradable y al encender las Luces se pierde privacidad interior; la losa, copas del servicio de cafetería a la habitación mal lavadas, el baño viejo de más de 30 años tiene un ruido Al soltar la cisterna que atemoriza, el ingreso a la ducha es una trampa mortal con escaleras y varios niveles, además de una banca pretendida elevada donde al ingresar, si uno resbala, podría reventarse el cráneo: desastroso.
Iluminación blanca excesiva, mal servicio en el desayuno incluido: particularmente una de las meseras Jóvenes de la autoservicio de trato seco y desatento; no hacen servicio a la habitación a menos que uno insista en recepción para que envíen una múdalas, En fin, a menos que no tenga donde más ir NUNCA REGRESARÉ A ESE HOTEL. Creo que debe existir en hoteles.com una política de Evaluación de un establecimiento que dice tener cinco estrellas, pero que no pasaría el examen para asignarle tres. Cualquier precio que se pague, es muy elevado para el servicio y la comodidad que ofrece un hotel avejentado cuyo único prestigio es su nombre de hace muchos años. Hay muchas innumerables mejores ofertas en Bucaramanga. En la foto adjunta puede observarse la complejidad del acceso a la ducha.
