Breakfast buffet is hectic. This is one area were the staff could greatly improve. They need to change the set up because everyone is packed in the center isle trying to get their food and also waiters add to the bottleneck.
3 days in the row my wife asked one of the servers she like to have ham and cheese omelet and all 3 days he brought undercooked omelet with corn, onions an mushrooms. The suites are very very large and nice, almost like an apartment with kitchenate. Only problem is the road noise is very uncomfortable at night, even though you close the windows the bikes and race car noise will enter your room. Bring earplugs.

The suites are located in the heart of the city walking distance from the National museum , planetarium, bullfighting ring plaza de toros la Santamaría , there is a mall near by “San Martin” where you can find Crepes and waffles by far my favorite restaurant when I visit Colombia.
The main square plaza de Bolivar is walking distance from the hotel taking 7th avenue across the street to the south is a pedestrian zone so you can walk nicely everywhere . Don’t miss out the Gold Museum, The Botero museum and Centro cultural Gabriel Garcia Marquez . (Make sure the museums are open before heading out and also the weather). I love the suites , breakfast is top notch I have not encountered anything similar around the world yet . My room had a Mountain View no matter the time of the day it was astonishing. I did not mind the noise because is located over a main avenue and glass is not noise proof . I’m an early bird so it was ok for me, but if this is a concern to you better ask for a different room.

I stayed at Hotel Tequendama Suites Bogotá and unfortunately my overall experience was mixed. The exterior of the hotel look old, and there were homeless people around the area, along with a very unpleasant smell outside, which made the surroundings feel uncomfortable.

In the room, the shower had problems with the hot water, as it would stop working while I was using it.

However, I want to highlight that the restaurant staff were extremely kind, attentive, and provided excellent service. They were one of the best parts of my stay.

Overall, while the staff were friendly, I believe there are better hotels in Bogotá with better locations and more reliable facilities.

The suite I reserved has issues with the shower. Not enough towels for 3 Guests. No kitchen utensils. A refrigerator thta did not work.
The next morning the supplied a small fridge, towwrls and sent the plumber to fix the shower. Even though they were proactive fixing the issues. All those things should not be happening.
This is not a lower cost stay and I shouldn’t have deal with repairs during my stay.

Note! No airconditioning in the room! They just laugh if you ask about it as in Bogota it never gets hot enough for air conditioning. Windows do open if it's too hot for you.

This hotel is a good cost-quality deal. The suites are large, clean but old. The shower door was broken, the shower did not drain fast, and they have no intermediary curtains, so you need to live in the dark if you want privacy from the large windows. The staff is very gentle and ready to provide service. The breakfast was very standard as you can expect from any included breakfast.

Not a 5 star hotel by any stretch of the imagination. Old, rundown and felt insecure. There is no central air in this hotel. I left the same night I checked in and moved to an actual reputable hotel. Do not waste your time.

Primeiramente me colocaram em um quarto no qual a televisão não funcionava e tinha problemas no banheiro.
Me avisaram que me colocariam na suite Master sem custos adicionais mas no entanto era pior do qual eu estava. Não tinha frigobar, não tinha cofre, não tinha secador de cabelos, o banheiro vazava água da pia e os quarto não tinha cortinas, apenas Blackout, enfim, um terror. Somente no último dia instalaram o que faltava menos a cortina e não solucionaram o vazamento do banheiro.

This is a classic Colombian hotel very large but quiet in that you don't see or hear other people in the hotel all that much unless you go to the Lobby or the Restaurant. Good location in that it's pretty close to the airport and there is a lot to do in the area but be mindful that after dark the neighborhood can be a bit sketchy.

Room needs badly upgraded, they stole my gold necklace from my room. Breakfast buffet needs more options. Out of 10 days I stayed there, 7 they didn’t have lactose free milk. Not good at all.

I was really disappointed with my stay. There was no coffee in the room and we were told we had to pay for it because the hotel is state-owned, meaning nothing was complimentary—not even coffee. On the last day, the water in the shower didn’t work at all. The area outside the hotel had many homeless people, and the overall service was poor. They also charged an extra $50 per night for each additional person, even though we booked a suite with two beds. It only covered 1 guests, which was hard to understand. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this place and won’t be staying here again.

Muy mala experiencia con este hotel. Los cuartos están en muy viejos, el bathtub en malas condiciones, el papel de colgadura desprendiéndose. Y hoy deje una cadena en el cuarto y me la ha robado la señora que hace el aseo. No les recomiendo este hotel en absoluto.

Great hotel in \"not the best area at night\" in the center of Bogota. Lots of sights to see in that area just have to be mindful at night if walking around. Breakfast was amazing, great customer service, rooms are large and nice. Hotel is usually fairly crowded I have stayed there probably 10 to 15 times over the last 10 years or so. Pretty close to the airport so convenient if you have an early flight.

This hotel is a scam. The area is very dangerous, especially if you’re American or a foreigner. I strongly advise against staying out late. Although the hotel is technically located in downtown Bogotá, the surrounding neighborhood is rundown and feels unsafe.

The rooms are extremely outdated, and the hotel charges extra fees for any visitors after 9 PM, or if someone stays beyond the number of guests originally booked. Everything comes with an extra charge, so the price you see on Expedia is not the real price you’ll end up paying at check-in.

Honestly, I do not recommend this hotel. It’s overpriced for the location, and it feels like they’re trying to take advantage of foreign visitors. I couldn't stay more than 3 days.. Just be careful.

I have stayed here probably 10 times over the past 10 years and unfortunately this time there were some minor issues that added up. The Customer Service was great, as was the Breakfast. The room was huge, but the chain on the door was broken and did not work. A light in the larger bathroom was broken and sort of hanging there. The internet went down at night so television was unavailable and again in the morning so I could not book an UBER, had to walk to a coffee shop nearby to use their WiFi.

The hotel is conveniently located for accessing the airport at a low cost. While the hotel requires significant renovations due to its dated condition, it offers more spacious accommodations compared to many other hotels in Bogotá. Guests can enjoy a complimentary breakfast, but improvements are definitely needed in the overall facilities. Nevertheless, the amenities provided are quite impressive.
