Friendly staff, close proximity to shopping! Don Quixote, Family Mart, 7-11 are right across the street and Daiso, Muji and Mcdonalds are in a building right next to the train station which os only 6 minutes walking distance from the hotel!

Really great location - close to subways. Very walkable. Hotel was nice, breakfast was good and beds comfortable. We needed to laundry and there was no laundry in the hotel but staff helped us find services nearby. Breakfast was good. We enjoyed our stay as a family. The rooms with four single beds is a life saver for us and appreciated that immensely.

We stayed twice while in Japan. The first time was 10 nights and another 3 nights at the end of our vacation. We loved the buffet breakfast. Wonderful variety, always fresh and really nice presentation. Japanese and western options.

Rooms were clean and had everything we needed. We found the beds a bit firm. Rooms are compact. We really enjoyed the Skytree views.

There is plenty of shopping and restaurants near by. The train and bus station within 5 minutes walk, made sightseeing Tokyo really easy.

We would recommend this hotel.

Excellent hotel. Close to the station, restaurants and convenience stores across the street or surrounding the stations. The breakfast restaurant had a vast variety and so even though we stayed 5 nights we didn’t tire of the food.

A major plus is that the airport bus stops at the hotel.

There are signs that the hotel is not new. But nothing major. One thing would be to have more electrical outlets near the beds and on the desk.

Make sure to get a Skytree view room. Seeing the Skytree day or night always made me happy.

Excellent location. Just minutes walk from Kinshicho station and several shopping malls and food options nearby. It's a rather dated hotel by design, but it is still well maintained. The room is mostly clean, just a few areas that could have more attention like the air cleaner/humidifier. Breakfast buffet is not very comprehensive, but it is sufficient. A great plus point is that there is direct airport limousine bus access to both airports, great for those who can't deal with the subways and luggage together.... But do make reservations early for the trip to airport as they can get sold out on the limited time slots for the day quickly. Nice quiet area that is away from the tourist crowd.... Also the room view to the Tokyo Skytree is fantastic.

The room was spotless everyday for us. The food was spot on and delicious everyday, staff members were very friendly and knowledgeable. The only thing is the Zen restaurant has a spectacular view but darn expensive for what it was for two people. BTW do not get the room that faces the trains because if you are a light sleeper like me it will ruin your beauty sleep. Other than that Japan is a must to visit.

Great hotel in great location. There are a lot of malls nearby. The hotel is more of the old style but looks grand and well maintained. The only bad thing is there isn't any washing machine available in the hotel. Other than that, I will say this is a perfect hotel. The view of skytree from the hotel room was nice. Will definutely come back again to stay again.

Very clean rooms and courteous and professional staff. This is our 2nd time staying at the Tobu Hotel and it's conveniently located a block away from the Kinshicho Train Station. There's a huge mall next door and tons of shops, 7-Eleven and Lawson's across the street. Also, we frequented a restaurant across the street, YAYOI KEN, that had excellent food at very, very reasonable prices. I love being conveniently located to many amenities in Sumida City, Tokyo.

Beautiful Skytree view and a room that’s spacious compared to typical Japanese hotels. The room is very clean, and the coffee is excellent. The second floor connects directly to a shopping mall, train terminal, and bus station. There’s also an airport bus departing from the hotel, making it extremely convenient for travelers.

I absolutely loved staying at the luxurious Tobu Levant. Everything was clean! We got water bottles and toiletries regularly. The staff were welcoming and helpful, the service in the hotel is an incredible reflection of the country as a whole. I got engaged while I was staying in Tokyo, and the Tobu Hotel added a homey feel to everything while still feeling so luxurious. The tea room is remarkable! It is close to the station and Tokyo Skytree! Just so many things. BOOK HERE IF YOU ARE STAYING IN TOKYO!

Two stars - One star for the housekeeping staff - they've done a great job and another star for the convenience of the location and getting direct access to Narita & Haneda.

The staff attitude was appalling - I have stayed in other hotels in Kinshicho and I definitely would not recommend this one, the Super Hotel across the road has better service.

We went to the hotel at 1pm, just wanting to drop off our luggage. The front staff instantly told us if we want to check in earlier we need to pay. ???? We didn't mentioned anything...

At 3pm - we checked in. When the same front staff handover the access card. She reminded us strongly that if we lost the room card we will need to pay - I don't know what this hotel or this staff has been through. I have been travelling to Japan for more than 20 years and never had such attitude. Understand with recent government changes that some people are anti-foreigners but not expecting this type of service as a hotel??? If you see this review I suggest that you look elsewhere for another hotel

The hotel location is very good. We walked to the Skytree area, and the hotel is near a station, so transportation around Tokyo was convenient. The main areas in the hotel are very nice but the rooms are dated but clean. The carpet in the halls is worn and stained. The breakfast buffet was good and overall we felt this hotel was a good option for the price.

The positives: Our large and comfortable twin share room on the 22nd floor with a magnificent view of the superb Skytree. The room was spacious, clean and consistently maintained by housekeeping. The front desk was always polite, friendly and helpful. In fact all the staff were so delightful and attentive. Additionally, the hotel is walking distance to the JR Kinshicho train station with direct link to Tokyo, Shinjuku, and Akihabara- all significant places of interest. Kinshicho is a thriving hub and has a Uniqlo, Zara, Burger King, McDonalds, and a DonJiote (a Japanese everything store open 24/7 selling everything from luggage to souvenirs). There is also an abundance of sushi, ramen and gyoza shops behind the hotel (we did not discover this until day 4). The negative was the breakfast buffet. I felt that the range of options for fresh protein: fish, chicken, tofu and fresh fruit (banana, strawberry, apple, orange) was not available. I also would have liked to have seen some onigiri, nori rolls. Processed meats, juices, potato fries are not to my liking. However, all in all our stay at the Tobu was a great success and I would highly recommend it!

Location close to subway more important. We skipped the breakfast for few days though our rates included it as they are not fantastic to make us to wake up early.

Room was clean and amenities were satisfactory, tower view of Skytree was outstanding. We did not eat at the hotel and cannot rate that feature. Ease of access to Kinshicho station made it very easy to reach all of Eastern Tokyo. Excellent for visits focusing on Sumida, Taito, and Chuo wards.

Great hotel in a prime location, especially for families with kids. Very convenient for going to Tokyo Disneyland / DisneySea — the hotel provides a free shuttle bus (remember to book very early). If you miss the booking, you can easily take the bus from Kinshicho Eki Stop, Tokyo Skytree Town ~ TDR bus to Tokyo Disneyland or Disneysea for around ¥1000, which I actually prefer as it’s more comfortable than the crowded trains and you’re guaranteed a seat.
There are many restaurants and shops around the hotel, including McDonald’s, Burger King, and plenty of convenience stores like 7-Eleven, Lawson, and FamilyMart. There’s also a shopping mall nearby with UNIQLO, GU, Daiso, and more.
There is also the coin laundry nearby, which is very convenient for longer stays. It has a coin-exchange machine and even a shoe-washing machine, which is quite helpful.

Tip: Don’t forget to request a Tokyo Skytree view room — the view is worth it!

Good hotel however they need to upgrade the technology. There are no electric outlets in the bathroom so you need to go to the bedroom area and blow dry your hair and there is no mirror. Very limited outlets to charge cell phones and computers. Staff should be better trained directing tourists to the train station and JR metro. They should also be trained on the tourists attractions including information on the hop on and off bus like where to take it etc. They should also be selling tickets for tourist’s attractions. Others hotels do it but this hotel doesn’t
