Was going to stay at this Motel 6, but due to a family emergency, we were unable to go. When trying to get in contact with the staff at the property, they said they were not going to approve a refund so I was unable to get my money back. Do not recommend this hotel as I didn’t even step foot into the building and they were very rude and dismissive over the phone. Cannot speak for the actual building itself, but would not recommend staying here.

The Staff tried to be helpful but there was not much they could do with the shape the motel is in. The rooms were clean but so run down they looked old and dirty, NO fridge even though it shows one in the pictures of the rooms. The beds were terrible old lumpy and so uncomfortable. The TV kept turning off by itself, the Wi-Fi did not work at all it kept buffing every 5 min.(not exaggerating) And breakfast was a box breakfast- dry crescent roll, apple juice and apple and granola bar. Will not stay at a Motel 6 again if this is how they are taken care of, really disappointing.

it does NOT include \"breakfast\" - breakfast is a take-out box - stale bun, apple, sugared fruit drink. Room was far from elevator and parking. \"Cheap\" rooms have no fridge - had to pay extra, make sure you check. Staff didn't speak english and were not helpful

Not amazing for sure. Property overall is shabby. Room was not cleaned in the 3 nights I stayed there. Staff pleasant enough but not willing to do to much to assist. The snack offered should not be called “breakfast”. For the $138/night price I guess I expected a bit better quality accommodation, service, and food offerings.
There was a concerning incident onsite during my stay resulting in police being called onsite to apprehend a guest. This made me feel unsafe as a female guest and question security of premises. The police were onsite during my stay.
I had stayed at Motel 6 a few years ago and had a pleasant experience which is why I returned. However, after this last stay I will not be staying at this motel again

It was our second time staying at this hotel, and we weren't disappointed either time. Staff are hardworking, polite, and helpful, rooms are clean, in order, with everything working. The beds are comfortable, the water isn't too hot or too cold, and the Quiet Hours policy is clearly taken seriously as it was quiet on our floor.

Very nice front desk employee, very friendly and polite.
Very noisy in our room from the hallway guest to squeaky but comfortable beds to super loud toilet. Beds were clean and fresh but the rest was ok as far as clean.
Our breakfast was a take out boxes with fruits, granola bars, croissants and juice boxes. Overall acceptable for the price :)

The place is not for everyone, was suppose to check out Monday ended leaving the next morning even if they didn’t give us back our other 2 nights refund back. I wouldn’t recommend the place unless you are really desperate, so you know it’s more of a shelter for homeless people than a motel or hotel

Don’t stay here.
Not only did we get stuck in their elevator, but they also didn’t have any breakfast at ALL, or creamer for lobby coffee.
When I called the front desk to advise our elevator experience- she said she would “put the sign back up”. Seems like a regular thing.
We had 2 x a double bed room that would comfortably fit 2 people, and 2 bath towels and one face cloth.
I waited to review, as I was advised the manager would be calling me yesterday - big surprise - they didn’t.

Firstly the check-in was good, distaff are present and helpful. We travel with our medium dog who doesn't see very good anymore and next time I will request a room on the 1st floor. Also , none of the grass was cut around the whole motel, it was close to a foot tall. All I could think of was ticks living in it, so I did let her go in the shorter area where they supposedly plant flowers.
The room was ok, some might not like the soft mattress but I did. No miicrowave in the room, that was disappointing, but there was a fridge.
Small breakfast, good croissant, apple, yogurt...good coffee.

I booked hotel her for one night. When I checked in I noticed there were 2 guys near the entrance ( looked like subsidized people ). There were holding beer and the first impression of the hotel was poor. Then I asked the receptionist and she said the hotel is filled with subsided people. I get they need help but at the same time , I feel disrespected as a tax payer paying 140$ for a room knowing there are subsidize people in the same hotel. I didn’t feel safe even tho nothing happened. I tried getting refund as this info wasn’t advertised in the hotel description. Hotels.ca only gave me 25$ credit.

About the room. - when I entered the room isn’t worth the money at all. The room itself looks outdated but that is fine. The biggest problem is we can hear people talking from the other room as there is a door between a rooms. I can also hear people from the hall way.

I absolutely would not stay here at all. I stayed for 1-2 hours and left and decided to sleep in the car instead.

I didn’t get to attend my stay, due to health reasons and being unable to manage my stress (with out adequate support) from Niagara Health, and the Niagara Region as a whole. Though I have had prior assistance with health-related issues, in the last few months it has been up and down… I’m being refused an ultrasound of my left foot and need treatment desperately… and I’ve needed this treatment for over 5 years. So the only reason it was terrible is that I was not capable, physically, of going to the stay.

The staff was great. That's where the good parts stop.
I stay at budget hotels and motels all the time, and I have to say this one takes the cake for feeling cheap.
There was an ambulance visit to the hotel. When I asked why they were there, I was informed that someone needed help due to a black mold problem in their room.
The bed was just okay, and the mattress was torn around the corners. I hated that the toilet did not have a proper cover/lid... it really made the bathroom feel like a roadside stop instead of a room you were actually staying in.
The breakfast consisted of a granola bar, a piece of fruit, and a mini Walmart croissant. There are hotels in this price range that offer a better and bigger breakfast.
There was no iron in the room, and there was only one set of towels, even though we were set up as a two-person stay. The floors are not carpeted, but feel sticky in places. There is no fridge or microwave in the room (though I believe the lack of fridge was mentioned before I booked).

For the price, I honestly think you would be better off spending an extra $20-$50 a night for one of the other hotels within 10 minutes of this one. You can stay at a cheap hotel without everything needing to feel this cheap.

The electrical outlets are very loose. Nothing stays plugged in. I require a bi-pap machine to sleep and it wouldn't stay plugged in, forcing me to leave the motel for safety issues.

The room itself was okay. Old but clean. There is no microwave, fridge or coffee machine in the room and there is no coffee available in the lobby. Breakfast is a box containing crosaunt juice, apple and granola bar which you pick up at the front lobby in the morning with coffee available then. There were quite a few ants crawling around and 3 times the TV just went off for no reason. The noise during the night was awful. People slamming doors continually and loud talking until 3am then again starting at 5:30 am. I had a terrible night.

Distinct odours present throughout the place. Bed extremely soft. Water drainage issues in bathroom. Place served it’s purpose but would not stay again.

This place is gross, DO NOT stay here. Read all the other review and you can tell this place is terrible. I am surprised that there is a place like this in Burlington. I did not read any reviews before I booked this place as I thought it would be ok being that it is located in Burlington, Ontario. But man was I wrong. I stayed 1 night and got out and booked at another hotel for the rest of my stay. The bathroom had dried up spit and other brown stuff on the walls, there was a used face towel on the curtain rod, the fitted sheet had a couple rips in it. The fridge was dirty and damage all over the walls. I didn't see any bugs but I can see how there might be some around based on the conditions. I understand this is a cheap motel but the standards are very low. I recommend you spend a bit more money and some piece of mind.

Price quoted was less than price required by $6. When I showed him confirmation he lowered it by $9 after a long time spent on Ipad.Room was cold. Not enough blankets. The heater didn't raise temperature. A verbal fight in the middle of the night outside our room. Heating/air conditioning unit was rough cut in and hadn't been trimmed. No drawers for clothes. No towels in room. Breakfast was given in a hamburger box, no place to sit to eat it. Needed to make 2 trips to take back to room. Breakfast limited to one box each. We did get floor room as requested and handicap parking was readily available.

It is a simple, value based motel. Room and entire facility was clean, staff was friendly, and it met our needs.
The \"free breakfast\" was not the expected continental breakfast bar, but a much more simple boxed breakfast. The first day it consisted of a granola bar, an small apple, and a juice box. The second day there was also a croissant and two jam packets and when I commented on not getting that the 1st day I was told they had run out of croissants. The third day there was also a small orange, but the \"juice\" box was a juice cocktail and not real juice. The forth day was like the third, but it was real juice again. The last day, there was no orange and no jam. Given we got a room with a fridge, we didn't rely on the breakfast, so it was not a big issue, but don't expect it to be more than a light snack.
Again, it met our needs, was clean and inexpensive, and conveniently located to it was perfectly adequate.

There was no heat in the room. After cranking up the heater to 90 degrees 3 times and the heater no moving past 70 degrees no matter what I did,I woke up to the room being 67 degrees. There were no comforters to stay warm either. Also the tv had no signal. Staff wasn’t much help when I complained either.

Overly soft and lumpy bed. Too much ambient light from the window and under the door from the public hallway. Broken shower rod does not keep the bath tub properly covered. There should be an exhaust fan in the bathroom. Check in was quick but lacked in making the guest feel welcome. I got very little sleep. Overall, no where near worth the $125 I spent for the night

The AC/Heater was not working properly. In heat mode, it overshoot the temperature you set (was 72°F and I increased it to 73°F), it went as high as 80°F during the night. Then in cool mode, it overshoot the temperature and was as low as 66 °F when I woke up in the morning.

Otherwise, it was an excellent low-budget 2-stars motel with few amenities.

The heater in the room was broken. Stayed at 82F. Couldnt lower it so asked to be moved. They moved us.
Room was clean but no faceclothes and only 1 small bar of soap.
Breakfast was the worst. 1 croissant with no butter or jam. Hot drink box and 1 appple. Coffee had powdered milk. Will NEVER stay there again.
