Pros: lots of good variety at breakfast. Friendly staff, beds were comfy and room was clean and comfortable. Pool was nice.
Cons: parking is a little limited and a lot of upgrades were needed throughout the hotel. It did look like they were working on that. Overall for the money it was good.

It was clean, staff friendly and efficient. Sad to see jacuzzi is permanently off limits should say that in the hotel booking sites. Love having a sauna. Breakfast options great. We have stayed here a couple of times for ski trips it is convenient to get to them from here.

Staff was friendly however housekeeping could use a class in cleaning. There was a spill on the stairs that was never cleaned, dust on the fire extinguisher box, trails of sidewalk salt everywhere. They didn’t even shovel the walkway outside the main entrance. The beds were very firm. Breakfast was your standard hotel hot continental breakfast.

Unfortunately, my experience at this hotel was very disappointing.

To begin with, the pool and hot tub were not functioning during peak winter season — which is extremely frustrating, especially considering that many guests come to ski and look forward to relaxing afterward. One of the main reasons I chose this hotel was specifically for those amenities.

There were constant loud water/pipe noises in the bathroom throughout the night that woke me up multiple times. It was very disruptive.

The room cleanliness was also below expectations. Housekeeping only made the bed but did not properly clean the bathroom (toilet, surfaces, etc.), which was unacceptable.

Breakfast quality needs significant improvement, both in variety and overall presentation.

On top of that, the staff was not welcoming and came across as unfriendly.

Overall, I would not recommend this hotel and would not return.

The room was hopelessly average. Not horrible. Just very dated. Snow and ice removal was poor. Staff was very good and friendly. Desperately in need of basic upgrades. Breakfast was a pleasant experience. It is what it is. I would not choose this, but in a pinch at this price point it got the job done.

All Was Good , Except the back door where our room was # 131 was off from the frame , so all the cold air was constantly coming in through the corridor. The POOL was off duty also, which was a Major disappointment for myself & my partner, since specifically in winter we like to swim indoors of course. Apparently the latest cold days affected the ventilation system. I guess next time I’ll call the place or just go somewhere else.

The room had Bed Bugs, had a straw covered in drugs left under the bed, left over food and cigurette burns in the sheets. The walls were peeling heavily and had lots of damages.

When brought to the attention of the employee working the night shift we were blown off and offered a different room when we asked about a refund.

When I asked if we could contact the manager somehow we were advised that they were unreachable, I then asked for an email address so I could forward photos and the email address I was given was invalid.

10/10 will not return. Total visit length of hotel 7minutes, Checked in - looked at the room - checked out.

However found a better hotel right down the road where they even explained that we were not the first customers that night to say the same thing.

Terrible. Pay an extra 50 dollars and go elsewhere. Dirty, outdated and stinky. There were people fighting in the room Nextdoor or under me. I got zero sleep l. I thought someone was getting hurt and maybe I should have called the police. I left for the airport at 4AM and they were still yelling and screaming. I’m not exaggerating when I say I got no sleep.

There was broken handles hanging on the desk, empty toilet paper rolls, empty shampoo and conditioner bottles, the pool was dirty and smelled like a fish tank when we got out of the pool we felt slimey and gross, pool house and chairs were dirty. Breakfast tables were dirty and most of the food was gone and not replenished. Staff was no where to be found when needed. Do not recommended this hotel and will not be returning.

Our stay was great. Place is away from the noisy congested areas. We skied Bolton (30 mins) Smuggs (1 Hr) and Sugarbush (1 hr), Sauna was better than the hot tub which was generally noisy with kid traffic and the jets werent the greatest, but it was nice. Breakfast was nice

Staying in a room 162 for the dec 5 & dec 6 and last night ended up finding cockroach in our room and they are trying to deny it even when i have a picture of the bug and they only gave one day refund instead of refunding both nights and were very rude and acted like they didn't care and then gave me crap and didn't want me to report it to the Vermont health department

I was happy to return to this Quality Inn Shelburne to find that it is well managed in the staff for very happy and pleasant to be around. front desk operators Justice and Drahcir were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The room and property is very clean, organized and safe. The breakfast has a lot of options and it is a full breakfast. The pool and the hot tub area very clean. Perfect temperature and a nice option on a cold winter day. The only thing I would say there should be assigned to watch your step upon entering the pool area but other than that, this property is a perfect stay, especially for the price point and accessible to all points of interest. Few minute drive to Vermont teddy bear factory and Shelburne museum.

Worst hotel/ motel experience in my life. Don’t even waste your time with this nasty place. Claims rooms are non-smoking but smelt like every room was hot boxed all night with cigarettes. I say every room because I had to request to change rooms 4 times. Each time a room smelt just as bad with a different type of odor. I didn’t want to have to get up and leave at 9pm to find another hotel, but I had my 2 year old son with me and I didn’t want him exposed to that environment. Wall paper peeling off the walls, shower had mold, water stains all across the top of the ceiling, a bunch of dust in the vents. Holes in the baseboard in the walls in the hallways, where I say insects crawling in and out of. Used new pictures from the renovated byline, but the put me in the old building with the older rooms. Then when I requested a refund for falsely advertising certain rooms, they said it’s against their policy. Do not bring your family to this place.
The only good in that nasty building was the front desk lady on the night shift. Very accommodating, never gave an attitude when I asked to change my room. She was a sweet woman.

This is a motel. Rooms ipen towards outside, in Fall and Winter how can someone use the pool or hot tub and not get sick when coming out in the cold to get to your room?
The Wi-fi doesn’t work. It disconnects after a minute. I do not recommend this place if you stay thre during cold seasons.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! The staff were nice, but the hotel is in horrible shape. The photos posted did not match the type of room we received. Our first room had a broken bed and peeling wallpaper. The second room had bad, flickering lights and peeling wallpaper and smelled like smoke. They finally got us into a somewhat decent room, but there were still cosmetic issues. The fitness room had a bad leak and the locker room was sketchy with hardly any lighting. Manager was never there. The rooms were way overpriced for how horrible they are. There are signs up saying things are being updated, but no active updating is actually happening. Do not stay here.

The young man who checked us in on Oct 18 late at night was so nice and professional and accommodating. Excellent. But there were several dumpsters, garbage cans, and dog poop containers very close to our room entrance on the ground level near our room entrance. It was a terrible way to enter our hotel room. It was dark and creepy back there. Hopefully that can be cleaned up and brightened.

I’m not mad, just disappointed…

The bathroom door was busted up, the rod holding the shower curtain was falling off the wall. It was advertised as smoke free but our room smelt like they were covering up smoke smells. The bathroom ceiling was also peeling and moldy. The floor is caving in as well. Very disappointed for what we paid. $355 is outrageous for one night even during the fall season.

Ac in room wasnt functional, had to get a box fan as they said no other rooms were available.

Usually i understand things happen, but the response the next day was where it became unprofessional.

In the morning they attempted the AC wasnt broken it just didnt get as cool as we liked, and refuses to let me speak directly with the manager after eaiting in the lobby for approx. A half hour. never had this issue before and the room was approx 78 degreees. Refused to give more than 50 dollars for a 360 dollar night, after battling with the main management i had to go through expedia to get any sort of acceptable compensation
