The man who checked us in did not seem happy to see us. Usually, staff are welcoming and friendly. Not this guy.
The bed was very comfortable, and the room had a beautiful view of the lake. For the best view, you need to be higher than the second floor. There were no creamers for the coffee at the pantry. I checked 3 different floors and notified the front desk. It may seem like a minor inconvenience, but when you are in a hurry and need to drive a long distance, it's a problem.

Since this hotel is in a college town and I was visiting my daughter, who is 20...I needed her to check me in because my flight was seriously delayed. There was no leeway to consider my request. I had to change the reservation to her friends name who is 21. It was not an unreasonable request. I needed a favor and some consideration. The hotel was fully paid for. She just needed to check me in. The hotel failed in that capacity. Customer service is everything in this business. I am in the customer service and travel business. I accommodate my clients who happen to be national recording artists. I am also a Platinum Expedia and a Hilton Honors member member booking every hotel me and my clients stay at. I spent over $50,000 on lodging last year alone. The hotel was lovely..on the lake... but I probably won't consider staying there again.

The room felt neglected. The metal table was completely bent and broken that sits by the window. The mini fridge that sits inside dress is disconnected or missing a leg and tips over forward as soon as the door is opened. There is no fan in the bathroom. The windows were dirty. There were fluid stains on the pictures. It smell dusty when the heater came on. It was the worst hilton I ever stayed in.

Was charged a daily resort fee which made this hotel much more expensive than other hotels of the same type. This is not a resort and there were no amenities beyond a typical hotel room. Made me feel scammed.

While the view ways good and the location was great. During our stay the hotel made us aware that they would not be servicing our rooms. All they did was provide new towels-they barely removed trash. No restock, no new bed linens.
This was highly unacceptable in my opinion,I don’t believe the hotel handled this in the best manner when it came to being very hospitable and resourceful with the guests’ best interests at heart.

The hotel is very run down. The pool keeps being advertised (even in the hotel TV's) and is permanently closed. There was no coffee machine on the third floor. The fire sprinkler started leaking water in the bathroom. Overall a TERRIBLE experience.

Hotel was very nice, staff was courteous. Room was clean. But be careful, our car was broken into when parked in the garage attached to the hotel. The sign says to bring in all your valuables, you should definitely listen. Even if your car is locked, they can still get to everything.

While I can understand that they were likely slammed with reservations on New Year’s Eve that doesn’t excuse much of the disappointment in the experience.

Arrived at 5pm and the lobby was full of guests waiting to get into their rooms because cleaning was still underway. While we were lucky enough to get into our room upon arrival, it wasn’t without issue. I reserved a full lake view room to be able to see the fireworks but was given a partial lake view. I disagreed, was asked to show proof, told that I had booked incorrectly and that they had changing their naming structure of the different room types. Ultimately I got the room I reserved but not without headache.

The room was clean, but we found trash in the drawers of the dresser. Every floor is supposed to have a coffee/refreshment bar. The coffee machine on our floor was broken, beans spilling out of the top. There was not a coffee machine on the floor below us, so we found one on the mezzanine floor.

I’ve always enjoyed this hotel in the past, as recently as a year ago, but it seems there is currently a management, staffing and maintenance issue.

Staff wouldn’t let me check in without a credit card for incidentals, travel insurance wasn’t any help, I’ll probably skip it moving forward and recommend you do the same. Unfortunately my Chase credit card was closed for “security reasons” (?) which they haven’t explained to me, I assume because it was unplanned travel. I offered a cash deposit, the staff refused. I guess I’m out in the cold for the night, literally, even though I prepaid and booked through Expedia. Doubt I’ll use Expedia again.

We arrived at 6pm, and were told that our room would be \"ready soon.\" We ended up getting room with a King bed and blow up cot with a view of the parking garage, instead of the double queen with lake view we had reserved. The room wasn't ready till 10pm, although we had reserved in advance, and then the cot had to be replaced at 11pm because it deflated. The room service was completely understaffed, so the engineering and security people were required to deliver the cots...and we were the ones who had to make the cot ourselves (twice). The staff was all stretched to the limit, busy doing the work of two people (at least)--but it seems like it was the hotel's POLICY to accept reservations they couldn't accommodate, because I overheard the manager giving the same story to another family the next night: \"Oh, sorry, the room isn't ready yet, we can hold your luggage, hopefully it will be ready soon\" The manager WAS apologetic when I complained the next morning, and refunded the cost of the first night and the \"resort fee\"--but they should never have charged a resort fee because their hotel has no \"resort\" features in the winter--their pool and hot tub are empty for renovations, and the rest of their special guest services are for summer enjoyment only. I hope that their staff unionizes quick, so they can stop doing the job of multiple people.

Room was great. Front desk staff were super friendly and helpful. Overall hotel was very comfortable and location is excellent: near Church Street and ECHO Leahy Museum. There were a few unnecessary inconveniences in teh hotel: shower shampoo was empty, the cold water faucet on the sink was loose, and the TV weirdly defaulted to HDMI port 1 but needed to be on HDMI port 2 to get any reception. Finally, the automatic sliding door was broken in the morning, and I thought it unusual that the staff didn't know about it until I told them at 9am. Overall, I'd stay here again in a second.

The staff were responsive and helpful. I paid for two rooms, and both rooms were worn looking. Chipped paint, loose faucets, and stained carpets. Additionally room 620, where I was sleeping was \"egged\" around 11:30 PM. The sound of an egg hitting a 6th floor window was extremely frightening. And because the temperature was well below freezing we awoke to a window with frozen egg smeared over a significant portion. We reported the egging to the front desk to make them aware. And when we looked at the hotel from the parking deck we could see that many rooms had been egged the night before.

The hotel itself is very nice. Great location and view, but was very short staffed. 1. Our room wasn’t ready when we arrived, which was about 6-6:30pm. Once we got in to our room, we had no tv remote. Front desk wouldn’t answer calls, room service wouldn’t answer calls, had to go down to lobby to request a remote. We were evacuated from the hotel at midnight do so some sort of fire alarm. It was 0 Fahrenheit outside. Housekeeping did not clean the room the next day and left a note saying that they were sorry, but we’d get a free drink if we went to the onsite restaurant. The manager of the restaurant had no idea what I was talking about when I got there. No room service next day but we were offered cookies.
None of these made this a “bad” stay, but I’ve never had so many things go wrong at one place.

Great! Location – convenient for the downtown core. Firm mattress. Good shower pressure. Great gym – a lot more variety that I’m used to in weight equipment. Well designed and comfortable room and common areas. I liked the beverage bars on each floor, especially the tasty water to fill my water bottle. Staff were friendly and responsive. Would definitely recommend and return.

The rooms were not very clean; housekeeping never came to change the garbage or give clean towels. Requested it in the morning and waited the entire day. When spoke to Raul the manager, he gave some garbage bags and towels and said that he will give some credits for the inconvenience, which was not on the record and the staff said they don’t know anything about it. On Sunday morning, one of the elevators was not working and the other one was packed no space for luggage trolly; had to take luggage down the stairs for 5 floors. The staff were not helpful finding any solutions. I would have appreciated if the managers acknowledged the inconvenience and followed through his promise. On a positive note, the food and staff at the skiff restaurant were very good.

As a 74 year old 100% disabled veteran I had to try to carry my suit cases up FIVE 5 floor from where I was told to park first floor of the deck. The elevator was NOT WORKING so after I finally got to my room I had to take a nitroglycerin pill for chest pain. I rested for awhile till I felt better. I couldn’t go anywhere because walking all the way to the “single elevator at the middle of the building was very stressful so I couldn’t afford room service and that ment I didn’t get to EAT ANYTHING all day then my 1 day stay was terrible. I checked out even though I had the room for two nights I told the desk man about my overnight stay he said he would give me my deposit back. Asked about the cost of the second night he said he’d only give me my deposit back. I checked out before 0930 on the second morning so my empty room was paid without ANY use. I am consulting the Veterans Administration for assistance in getting a refund.

Now, it's Vermont in the winter so I know it's hard to keep the carpets spotless but everywhere had crumbs as if it hadn't been vacuumed in days. It appears to be under construction so there were limited elevators. It's fine but could use some updating for sure

The hotel has a lot of potential and an amazing gym. Unfortunately it seems that they don’t invest heavily into it so there are small issues that don’t get taken care of, broken toilet paper holders, light staffing, broken soap dispenser in bathroom. If they invested a bit of money into the place, it would be too tier.
