The hotel is well located for someone who travels through France on the way to or from Spain, seeking to rest there before the trip continues. The staff are very friendly. The hotel is basic but used to be a favourite of mine because it had a decent restaurant on the premises. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed this time and I had to leave the hotel again in order to have dinner.

This was a very convenient stop over for us on our way south, close to the motorway. The hotel is unremarkable but does exactly what you want it to do - good clean room. There is a restaurant in the hotel, we were too tired and hungry to go looking elsewhere so this was good for us. Food was nice but we waited 20 mins before even being asked if we wanted a drink, which was a bit too long after a long journey. I would not think that it would be suitable for a long stay because the locality is not particularly interesting.

We were very pleased with the value for money. After a long hot day driving from Nice, we were so happy to find a very friendly staff. We ate dinner and had beers in the outdoor area. The bed was comfortable and the room had air con. And a bonus bathtub! Very reasonable prices. Easy safe parking. I would not recommend breakfast, very nearby you have a supermarket and boulangerie.

We frequently stay at this hotel when traveling from England to Spain. It is very convenient for the motorway but because of its situation it is quiet and has a pleasant, if small, outdoor space. The rooms are small, but clean and comfortable. We both like the restaurant and my husband appreciates the bar being open when we aarrive after a long journey. All the staff are pleasant and helpful. Although we only started one night because we are travelling on I would be happy to stay longer.

We both liked this hotel and would stay again. We ate in the restaurant and enjoyed the meal although it was a very limited menu. Our only problem was finding the hotel. There are 2 roads in Valance with the same name and our Satnav doesn't take zip codes. When you enter the address you need to put in Bourgs De Valance not just Valance or you end up in not too nice an area of Valance.

Nuit simple, hôtel assez calme, le parking manque de place si l'hôtel est complet. Literie passe encore, quelques usures notoires comme la barre de douche descellée, la porte SDB compliquée à fermer. Les deux verres à dispo dans la salle de bain étaient inutilisables car bien sale. Mais ce n'est pas du tout un hôtel à fuir. La direction à été informé, ce message sert aussi à leur rappeller.

L'hôtel a clairement besoin d'un rafraîchissement : la décoration est datée, et l'ensemble manque d'entretien. Ce qui m'a particulièrement dérangé, c'est la propreté de la chambre. Étant allergique aux acariens, j'ai passé une très mauvaise nuit. La moquette était poussiéreuse et l'air de la chambre semblait chargé, ce qui a immédiatement déclenché mes allergies. Il est évident que le ménage n’est pas suffisamment rigoureux, en particulier pour les personnes sensibles comme moi. Dommage, car l’emplacement est correct et le personnel aimable, mais la propreté reste un point fondamental à ne pas négliger.

Het was een ontzettend gehorig hotel, maar echt geweldig voor doorreis naar Spanje. Schone, nette kamers en echt verbluffend (niet verwacht) goed avondeten, dus je hoeft echt het hotel niet meer uit. afgesloten parkeerplaats, echt een aanrader.

Notre nuit à cet hôtel s'est bien passée.
En ce qui concerne la salle de bain la porte de la douche ne se fermait pas bien car le roulement d'une des deux portes (inférieur) était cassé. De plus le wc ne s'écoulait pas bien.
De plus il faudrait mettre plus d'éclairage dans cette chambre limite obscure.
Triste pour un hôtel trois étoiles.
