The room had a lot of damages starting from the front door we had to slammed it to open/close , the carpet was dirty , walls were very dirty ,our bathroom towels had stains ,staff was very nice but outside our room both nights we stayed their was a group of men smoking weed and being very loud until midnight drinking outside of my room they were staying 2-3 rooms down from us ,also they had a grill in the parking lot and they were having a bbq , we barely got any sleep because they were playing music and being loud I was surprised management didn’t tell them anything, overall we won’t stay there ever again .

The floors were extremely dirty like they hadn't been mopped for a long time. The back of the door was black from where everyone touches it. Asked the front desk for things to clean it cause I had already unpacked and she tried to turn it around on me for not asking to be moved to another room. The front desk locks the door at 7 pm so it's hard to catch someone. I have stayed here several times before and it was never this gross.

I wouldn’t come back here if they paid me to. The customer service was terrible, over the phone and in person. I was yelled at and treated poorly because they didn’t understand my question. The place is dirty. Walking on the carpet left our feet black, the door hadn’t been wiped, there were hairs in the tub. The monitors in the rooms beeped every so often all day and night.

Our room was quite dirty. The refrigerator was yellow inside the cable wires for the television we’re sticking out of the wall, not connected, the manager did come in and connect it, but it was rigged and not properly placed. I ended up taking a shower and was creaking so much. I thought I was gonna fall through the floor.

Counter service is poor. I called to change booking and was placed on hold for nearly 10 minutes (he said hold for 5 minutes) before hanging up and calling back. When I finally checked in the clerk at the counter was SLOW and eventually gave me my room key. When I checked out the next morning, again, REALLY SLOW. I got a no smoking room but it smelled somewhat smoking and the room seemed barren with the towels in the bathroom and I didn't see the wash cloth, until after my shower since it was on the outside sink. I've stayed at Motel 6 as a last resort and Motel 6 rooms appeared better and cleaner than what Quality Inn Salinas represented.

The man at the counter was very rude didn't even say hello when i checked in. My key didn't work and he acted like it was my fault for not doing it right but I've opened hotel doors many times and never had a problem. He was grumpy and should not be in customer service if he hates people. The carpet had stains everywhere, the fridge was disgusting, the bolt inside door was broken. Also there is way more rooms than parking so you will have a hard time finding a place to park if you get to your room late. I did not feel safe here and will never be back. I would advice to stay at the motel y next door. It looked clean and had plenty of parking and had a security outside.

I havent stayed at a whole lot of hotels, but this one has to be the worst i have ever been to. This place is very unclean. Our room smelled bad, the bedsheets and towels were stained, the toilet paper dispenser had MOLD. On top of this, there were smudges on the walls in our room and blood in the elevator. The gentleman at the front was a little grumpy and slow. I do not recommend this hotel. The only plus was the breakfast included, though limited, and In n out was a minute walk away.

When I arrived at the property I was a bit too early for check in so I was asked to wait due to the room wasn’t ready yet which was no problem at all. I came back at 3 pm to check in got my key walked up to my room which was on the 3rd floor and once I walked in the room was dirty as hell there were cigarette buds behind the bed frame, walls were dirty, the orange couches in the room were filthy with stains and other body fluids I’m guessing as well. Not to mention the tv and phone didn’t work. The bathroom was molded in visible places like how could you miss that. The towels were stained but smelled clean. There was a hole in the ventilation to the restroom I’m not sure what happened there. I couldn’t even go anywhere else because everything was full in that area so I was out of luck. Please don’t let the pictures on the website fool you because I surely was.

First and Foremost, this “hotel” is right on the most popular street for prostitution just FYI… Secondly, the freeway is right in front so just be aware of noise levels lol. Will I ever stay there again ? Probably not.. The place definitely needs renovating. Broken furniture, lights out , loud exhaust fan , etc..
I will say that the bed was comfy . Overall , my stay was ok but like I said ..just keep in mind the 2 things I mentioned above that way you can make the call to stay or not.

Definitely not good for family to stay there, specially if you have kids. Inefficient front desk workers, marijuana smell in the parking lot, mold on the restroom ceiling, dirty frozen ice in the freezer, stained carpet. Our unit didn’t have shampoo, when I went to asked for it, they didn’t even have a new bottle, gave me two used ones!! Worst motel I have ever stayed.

I wish I knew their breakfast started at 7am. Because I was in town for work, and had to be there at 6:30am. I stayed at 2 other motels, of similar value, in the same area, and they both started at 6am for their breakfast. Other than that, and being overcharged almost $35 for my stay, it was adequate. They charged a different price per night than quoted on this app. I never thought I'd have to pay more for less amenities. I will not be staying here again.

It’s basically truck stop motel. The room was a little beaten up, grubby stains on door, wallboard patched in a couple of spots very incompetently. Toilet dark brown under rim, like it never is cleaned completely. Didn’t notice til I was sitting on the bed putting on my shoes. I’m tall, so I saw the top of the shower enclosure: I doubt that part’s ever been cleaned. I’ve got pictures.

The hotel/motel is situated near a main highway so you could hear traffic/ sirens but we did sleep.

Room 310. 2 queen beds. 1 bed had huge stains on the top quilt, stains on the carpet throughout the room, no locking latch on the door, door frame pulled away from the wall, huge crawl space on the ceiling above the beds, people “hanging out/loitering” in front of the rooms. My experience at this property was very disappointing. Both the TV and refrigerator stopped working. The manager was unavailable during my visit, and the staff member on duty appeared unprepared and unsure of how to handle the situation. When I asked when the manager would return, she couldn’t provide a clear answer.

On the day of checkout, I was sitting in my car when she approached me to ask if I was checking out. I told her I would be heading in shortly. When I went inside, she came out of a room where the cleaning staff was working and headed to the office, saying, “This is why I was asking if you were checking out.” I found that comment unnecessary and rude.

Overall, the lack of professionalism and poor service made for a very unpleasant stay.

We reserved two different Quality Inns during our trip, and the Quality Inn Salinas room is significantly older, less clean and less quiet. For breakfast the dining room is very small ( only 3 tables for two) and few types of food are available.

Ok, but room for improvement

We stayed for 2 nights only. Overall, it was ok, but a few things could be improved.
Bed was comfortable, but it had a plastic mattress protection that was a little noisy and annoying.
Towels smelled clean and fresh, but looked off white/grey from use. Definitely could be replaced.
Breakfast was very limited and scarce: one type of cereal, white bread only, pre packed pastries, mini waffles. No muffins, no bagels, no eggs, no sausage.
Parking was limited. One day we arrived 11pm and there was no parking spaces. There is no street parking either. We ended up leaving the car at the Motel 8 across the street and were worried it could be towed overnight.
Overall, our stay was fine, but those little things could be improved.

The place felt old and poorly maintained. Guests were drinking and blasting loud music from a car right outside their rooms, which were also double parked.

The elevator reeked of beer and had empty bottles scattered inside, giving off an unclean and unsafe vibe. While the room itself was relatively clean on the surface, the furniture was ripped and worn down. The bathtub had visible stains, and there was noticeable mold in the shower area. On top of that, the air conditioning didn't work at all, which made the stay even more uncomfortable.

Overall, this hotel felt more like a party hangout than a place to rest. It’s in desperate need of repairs, better maintenance, and stricter guest policies. I would not recommend staying here unless major changes are made.

Beware travelers, he is a lair and will not refund any cancelled trips there even though he says he is he will NOT issue any refund you must contact whoever you booked it with to get the refund because he is a fraudster and con. I have stayed at this property twice now, the first stay was great. This time there was salsa stuck on the desk and not cleaned, the chair cushion has candy and stuff under it, the walls in the sink area were dirty and the worst part was the mattress had the plastic still on it which made the bed not breathe when I slept on it so i woke up constantly got and sweaty.
