They had one job, give me a clean place to sleep, and failed. The sheets were dirty with stains, hair and weird debris. I had to go get another set of sheets to put over and between the existing sheets. I left a video of it at the front desk. So disgusting, the high reviews can’t be real,

Pet friendly but your pets have to go with you wherever you go. That’s hard at times for someone like me so make sure you got a way to transport your fur babies. Plenty of things within walking distance, you got Denny's and Walmart right next door. Glad this hotel has two washers and dryers which is a plus to me. Staff were nice as well, no complaints, it’s a great stay.

Having laundry for the guests was wonderful. Room was larger than I expected. Room was clean. Had two ice machines, also nice, but one broke down and the other had a light on for two days that said it needed to be disinfected :-(.

Having a restaurant a walkable distance from the hotel was convenient and appreciated. No need to get in the car after a long day of driving.

The room is clean but the tub is not working properly. It takes about 15 to 25 minutes for the water to drain after you shower , so I can’t use the tub to soak in. It’s frustrating. They do not clean the room, you have to ask for service, I did ask to clean for Saturday but non one show up.

I would just stay somewhere else. The air conditioner didn't work and sounded horrible. The bed, although comfy, has broken springs and made loud popping noises when you sat or moved in your sleep so it woke us up all night. The sink was back up and didn't drain.
The room overall seemed clean but the property was not well maintained and the laundry room smelled of sewage.

Key cards had to be renewed every day for 3 days.
Smallest flat screen seen in a hotel room.

Room 157 leaky shower and loud AC. No shampoo conditioner at all.
The shower kept falling off the wall, so you had to hold it in your hand. Try washing your hair with one hand try washing your body with one hand. Also in the description it listed white Sandy Beach and when I asked in the morning, the clerk said that it was about 10 minute walk.

Stayed for 4 nights and our room was never cleaned. Called the desk to ask for clean towels and was told I had to come to the lobby to get them. They gave me 2 bath towels. That’s it.

We also had to go to the lobby 3 times due to our key card getting de-magnetized and were unable to get into our room. Very inconvenient.

Upon arrival I was welcomed at the front desk & the check-in process for room 117 was fast. Once in the room it smelled musky like mildew or mold. I turned on the a/c to circulate and cool the air, but the a/c unit turned off completely after a few minutes. It did this multiple times throughout the stay. The TV worked, but the remote and cable service did not as the tv guide scrolled automatically and nothing could be selected with the remote. The sink was clogged and the water took a long time to drain. The water pressure in the shower was weak and the toilet rocked as it was not secured properly. There were small stains on some of the towels. The beds were uncomfortable as the spring could be felt through the bedding and there were also stains found on two pillows. When I went to retrieve some luggage from my vehicle a man sitting in a red suv with dark tinted windows called out to me as my wife and small children stood nearby. As I approached the man kept telling me to get closer, but I refused and the man said he just wanted to offer me some drugs. I declined his offer & immediately reported this to the front desk. The front desk took a description and said she would let her manager know so they could take care of it. Hours later after returning from dinner the unknown man was still seen sitting in his vehicle. At checkout I was not given the opportunity to voice my concerns as I was told to drop the keys in the bowl on the counter before the FD associate walked away.

For the price it was just right. The shower enclosure was basic, like what you’d find at your grandmas house. The water pressure wasn’t the greatest but it got the job done. There was damage to the back of the bathroom door that looked like a rush job and was sloppy. I booked it because there was a breakfast offered but we couldn’t find it - no signage. Again, it was ok for the price and it got the job done.

I we were passing through and going to stay one night, this would have been perfect, however, we were staying for four nights and without a frig, microwave, hair dryer, or coffee machine it was not practical. The staff was great and the room was clean. The bed was really comfortable as well.

This is a motel you stay at because you HAVE TO. This is not a place you go if you are looking for a relaxing vacation. I booked because I bought into the whole garden vibe and when i got to the hotel it was abysmal...even if it had a magical garden it wouldn't have made the stay any better.
Would not recommend. Canceled the additional night booked. Would have been happier in my car.

The staff was amazing, zero issues with checking in and out. As far as the room, it wasn’t dirty but there was a dead/squished mosquito above the door when I walked in, and a dead gnat on one of the towels. And not all of the channels worked on the cable, that was a little weird.

I’ve worked in hospitality so I understand these things happen, especially when there’s a lot of plant life nearby. But overall, I’d definitely stay here again. Whatever gentlemen worked front desk March 27th was a lot of help, he’s a good dude.

I only stayed for one night and the only interaction I had was with front desk. She was great! The room itself was comfortable and mostly clean. Parking is easy and there's lots of it. It's also located pretty close to Marina State beach. I'd stay here again for sure.

Pictures on line were cute, but the motel was run down and loud. It seemed people were running around most of the night. It was very convenient to the beach - an easy walk of less than a mile. A Denny’s was in the parking lot for an easy meal

I used disinfectant wipes on all the hard surfaces in the bed area and they were all dirty! The bathroom made me cringe broken & dirty tiles, and some rubber pipe cover under the sink full of stagnant dirty water, grubby looking towels. I went across the street to buy pillowcase protectors & towels.

Parking definitely gets packed after about 7pm. We had to park in the denny’s parking lot. Don’t recommend leaving after 7pm. Rooms were cleaned and nice. The bed frames were the only thing we’d say were off. The floating look was nice but maybe a more sturdy frame. Overall would stay again especially for the price !

Parking was safe and easy except for the 4 bone jarring speed bumps. Tv was 24”!!! Hard to hear and see! Neighbors were so noisy! Blackout curtains worked except the blinding halo around the outside of the curtains. I had to fix the TV remote. The lead was not touching the battery. Numbers and letters worn off of remote. Bathroom fan was noisy. Lights were all excessively bright and were the white LED. Not the warm white they should be. When I looked at map for hotel location near the aquarium, it said 20 minutes. That 20 minutes turned into 45 minutes during bumper to bumper stop and go traffic on the “freeway”.

We stayed at this motel knowing the price point, and it met our expectations. If you’re just looking for a clean, quiet place to lay your head, this is a great option. The room was clean, the staff was friendly, and the area felt safe and peaceful.

That said, it’s definitely a no-frills stay. There was no housekeeping during our visit, no blow dryer, only small bottles of shampoo and conditioner, and no tissues in the room.

I would absolutely stay here again for what it is—a simple, budget-friendly place to sleep. But fair warning… I’ve been accused of being cheap 😄

We've stayed at Motel 6 in Marina a few times. We like that it's close to casual dining, beaches, and shopping.

The motel is a bit dated, but our room was clean and comfortable. I would suggest adding more rooms with enough seating for two people, and more rooms with refrigerators, freezers, and microwaves.

This is a very low budget room . The rooms had black mold in the showers, window seals are full of mold. I thought it would be nicer by the pictures but it was not as nice as they make it seem . I also could hear the upstairs persons every step . So don’t plan on resting well.
