What activities? The TV didn't work and there was WIFI? The place had dirt stains everywhere, and blood stains on the bed sheets. Not clean at all. There is also holes in the walls, so make sure you say something. Goodluck trying to sleep at night with low flying planes gets really loud. The photos they have is not the same as the room your going to sleep in.

Money hungry

After staying there for 3 nights they came back because they didn’t charge me a deposit they wanted to come in my room more than 5 times. But if you stay more then so many days they didn’t trip off deposit. Anyways last night there I paid a 50 dollar deposit for them to try and charge me 50 more dollars the moment I left. I called them and they lied about the issues. Said that they charging me another 50 dollars for trash and the sheets. I guess since they fixing there deck issues for over a year and re modeling rooms they trying to charge
More then there rate. Since they are the cheapest hotel in Monterey county.

The sheets were starched but stained dirty. There were two sad little pillows on my king bed. There were three towels in the bathroom - a washcloth, a towel to stand on, and a thin small bath towel. The paint was peeling off the walls and someone had used toilet paper to plug the peephole in the front door. I literally only stayed because theres a no refund policy and I was exhausted after a very long day of driving and didn't have the fortitude to change locations. I slept on top of the covers on my picnic blanket. I would not recommend.

Stayed here for Monterey Car Week. All of these types of Motels are about the same in Monterey and Seaside. We've stayed at 5 different ones. This one was probably on the lower quality. The rooms were clean and the beds were clean. I didn’t check the mattress because I really didn't want to see what I was sleepIng on. Could have been fine. The beds were about the same comfort level as the other motels down here. The bathroom was the worst part of the room. The paint was peeling on the ceiling and other walls and there was mildew in several places. All of this was not super unexpected but it sucks paying almost $500 per night just because its during car week. Hopefully I can find a different place for next year.

- bathroom door knob had loose collar plate, left over screw holes/screws on the bathroom walls (possible from removing the old mirror)

The property is very run down and the area is very noisy. The room was cleaned but the floor was wet when we checked in, so used a floor mat to dry it and it came up filthy. Most of the trim and walls had dirt/mold on them and the shower drain was rusted. The exterior is under some kind of slow renovation because the framing work that was done has not been painted and the lumber has been sitting a while.

The gentleman who checked us was very friendly and helpful, but for a hotel that was getting $500 for a premium weekend they need to up their game.

Very outdated room with no lamps by bedside, no chair, no clothes hangers in closet area and no hanging rod. Layout of room doesn’t make sense. Wifi doesn’t work well indoors (very intermittent and have to use outside or right at the window only). Parking lot is very small and some areas difficult to maneuver back out. The only good thing was that there is a pool. I would not recommend and will not return.

Property was under construction? My room had no lamp, paper keeping cabinets from opening and furniture falling apart. The bathroom had a faucet that needed repairing, cigarette burns on the bathroom counter as well. Im not sure my room had even been cleaned before i checked in. I found a razor and shampoo in my shower from the previous guest when i checked in and a blanket in the closet wadded up in the corner. Guaranteed this room wasnt cleaned. For $125 a night....i expected more.

The room was renovated in the 50s or 60s of the XX century… withe the contemporary prices. It is old and run down. It did not have even the simplest amenities like ventilation in the bathroom or the hangers in the closet. The sheets were probably the cheapest they could only find….

I would not recommend this motel. Our room was a non-smoking room, yet smelled of smoke. The room had beat up furniture and did not appear clean and was poorly lit. No lamps or plugs to charge phones. The bed was terrible, extremely hard as if sleeping on a board. The bathroom was dirty. The heater was noisy. It did not have amenities like an iron or hair dryer. Even though listing said it had hair dryer in the room. The motel did not have liners for the ice bucket either, so unsanitary.

The room is outdated and there were minor discrepancies, but overall had a good experience. Well-valued and taken care of as best as it could be working with an old building. I was not a fan of the fact that the bathroom could have been more thoroughly cleaned (water spots on the faucet, unclean towels, strands of hair left in the bathroom) and there was only bedsheets on the bed without a comforter or other over cover. Great & helpful staff!

The room was so rundown. Holes in the walls, leaking air conditioning unit, no lights in the light fixtures. Beyond that there was a 2 inch gap under the door that made me feel unsafe like someone could stick a camera through or peep through. No blanket just a sheet on the bed. Instead of a regular chair it had an outdoor chair in the room. The hair dryer was covered in brown dirt. For $160 I consider this inn a complete rip off.

It was a perfectly fine place to stay with absolutely nothing fancy. As is common with inexpensive hotels, many things were a bit wonky or unfinished. But the beds were nice and firm and it had a refrigerator, coffee maker, TV, and microwave. Fo4 the price, it worked for me.

The wifi was horrible, and the pool was closed. 2 key cards malfunctioned, and I watched a tweaker exercise with a brick. There was a hookers acrylic finger nail right outside my door. Staff was nice at least. A bum aslo hit us up for weed.

The bed was super uncomfortable. Bed sheets were ripped. Toilet looks like it has never been cleaned. Stains all over the curtains. Smells awful. I don’t know why but it sounded like someone was trying to get into our room at least 5 times a day. Next to the road so it was super loud. Constantly hear planes flying over. The microwave looks like they never cleaned it. Also, no plate in the microwave. Customer service was nice but even the office looked like someone lives in it.

I arrived at the property at 2:50 PM, ten minutes before the designated 3:00 PM check-in time. Upon checking in, I was given a key to my room, only to discover it had not been cleaned from the previous guest. The room was in unacceptable condition—dirty towels were scattered across the bathroom, the bed was unmade with used sheets, and trash was still present.

I returned to inform the owner, who simply stated he would send someone to clean the room. There was no apology or acknowledgment of the inconvenience. I then had to wait approximately 20 minutes for a housekeeper to arrive, who unfortunately did not speak English. The owner, who also did not speak Spanish, had to rely on Google Translate to communicate with her, making the situation even more inefficient.

As a result, I wasn’t able to settle into my room until after 4:00 PM. To make matters worse, the bed I was provided was unstable and clearly not a king size, despite having booked a king room. The bed frame appeared to be a flimsy piece of metal, adding to the overall sense that corners were being cut to save costs.

Overall, this experience was disappointing, and I will not be booking at this property again.

The staff were woundevrful. But the stay was awful. Because on arrival half the drapery and rod were on the bed. No washcloths, trash cans, or kleenex provided in room. The vending machines did not work. TV didnt work. Bucket for ice provided howerver they had removed their ice machine. Owners had dog tied outside that barked ALOT. And the walls between the rooms werer very thin. Noise from other roomseemed like they were in our room with us. Only redeeming quality was the staff

Our room was dimly lit. Only one light and it was not that bright. Room did not have lamps or any other source of light. Small tv with only local channels and cable TV like in an early 2000s hotel. Pool was closed. The room seemed like it was being renovated. There was a huge mirror just leaning against the toilet. And screws left on bathroom cabinet. The bathroom mirror was dangerously hanging with only 2 screws. Water pressure was really low in the shower. Small refrigerator made a loud sound all night. Fire alarms flashed us all night looked like they were low on batteries. Just old and outdated.paper thin walls, you can hear everything!!!

We stayed 2 nights in August 2024, paid close to $650 for these nights and were shoved off to another \"motel\" because they were remodeling. No, they overbooked this one and didn't know where to go with us! This is highway robbery, totally! Nobody knew anything, no manager was available so we just had to take it. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB that these crooks get out of business as soon as possible.

(I see they always respond with empty words, they do NOTHING to reimburse of satisfy travelers. Shame on you!)

It smelled bad, gym like, dusty, cigarette smoke as soon as I walked in. Furniture was beat up. Nothing matched in there. Paint of room was awful. There was a chair that had paint on it. TV didn’t work. Beds were not comfortable and sheets were not replaced. There was hair bugs and dirt. Restroom was bad. Don’t stay here. Front desk even said the owners don’t care. I didn’t even have time to take pictures. I just took my family out of there asap.

We reserved 2 rooms for our stay. One was bad, the other terrible. There was one light only, no trash can, the tv didn't work, the floor was so dirty, I had to use the bath mat to clean my feet before getting in the bed. The bed was hard and not made correctly. The bed skirt was on top of the mattress, then a bottom sheet, then a blanket, followed by the top sheet and coverlet. I had to remake the bed to sleep in it. There was very loud music playing outside on property speakers until at least midnight. I was happy I remembered to pack ear plugs \"just in case\". I do not expect perfection, but I do expect my room to be clean.

This was by far my worst accommodation experience of my life. Sheets and pillowcases covered in black scruff marks including a shoe print. Staff did give us fresh pillows but couldn't change the sheets. Blood on the comforter. Hair and stains on the towels. Sticky grime on the floor. Windows had no fly screen so the windows opened straight to the outside. Our friends stayed in two other rooms and had the same experience including a broken AC/heater unit and blood stains on their towels. We literally could not make this up if we tried.

The pictures are a total scam this place is literally trash. It looks NOTHING like the photos. The office manager has two small dogs tied up outside that bark constantly. The place is falling apart, and more than half the property its caution taped off including the pool area and amenities. Plumbing sucks, the inside of the room had broken furniture and things left behind from the previous occupants. NEVER AGAIN. The cleaning lady was really nice, that’s the only good thing I have to say.

Hotel prices in the area were outrageous so we knew we booked the most affordable stay we could find but this place was still $175 a night for a full size bed, old scratched mismatch furniture and unfinished bathroom remodels.
The closest had no hangers and was missing a rod. The sheets where paper and the curtains where hanging on to a damage curtain rod. The WiFi didn’t reach our room and there was a green light on the ceiling that stayed on all night.
This hotel should not be accepting reservations or at least charge under $100 a night.
