Room was clean but worn, location and ambience is good, service lackluster and slow. Employees seemed untrained and were untimely in all requests. It took 45 minutes to get breakfast order taken and had to go to the front desk and ask a manager to finally get a server. Concierge was late to their shift by 20 minutes delaying all guests that were waiting.

Lovely hotel a short drive from Montauk. Front desk were friendly. We took the 45 min free boat ride with Captain Jack and he was excellent- very informative and personable. Highlight of the stay. The restaurant was excellent as well. The angry lobster was one of the best dishes! Very clean and well appointed rooms. Great view of the water. Only advice would be to have someone servicing the beach area for towels and more space around the adult pool. Lady in the gift shop was not friendly and very rude but the store was well curated. Luggage bellman was very friendly as well

We spent a Long weekend getaway here in August for my daughter’s 4th birthday. Beautiful resort overlooking the boats and yachts on Lake Montauk. The room was large sized with walkable closet space in the bathroom. Service was excellent.

We enjoyed outdoor dinning and breakfast at the Ocean club with a live Dj at the bar. It was a vibrant atmosphere that was enjoyable for adults and fun for our kids (ages 2 and 4).

Our friends were able to visit and join us at the pool. Kids enjoyed playing on the beach right on the calm Lake. We also enjoyed a complimentary private boat tour of the lake booked through the concierge.

The Location was a nice escape from the crowd in town yet it was a convenient 7 minute drive to town where we spent some time at the beach right on the Ocean and enjoyed several dinning and shopping options.

We are a family of four, and this hotel was absolutely perfect for us. It’s very family-friendly, and the staff went above and beyond with exceptional service throughout our stay. The Ocean Club restaurant had plenty of options, even for our picky eaters, which made mealtimes stress-free. The pools and beach areas were well maintained, with great service all around. We had such a wonderful experience and will definitely be back!

Although we have always enjoyed our time at the yacht club, this trip did not live up to expectations. The food at the restaurant was sub par, the $114 “amenities fee” is ridiculous as their amenities are largely unavailable. The adult only pool has minimal seating and therefore leaves guests with no where to sit. In general, I am not certain what that $114 fee buys you. Overall, a mediocre time was had.

Be very careful what view you book. Spend the extra $150 for marina view. What they call a “courtyard view” and the pictures they posted of what we were getting were not at all accurate. It shows a nice lawn area but you get a view of the parking lot where people throw poop bags.

My only complaint is that the pool for children is very far from the main pool and beach. The property did not advertise the separate pools and it was a bummer as I had my 16 year old daughter with me who did not want to go to a pool with small children yet she was refused at the adult pool.

Beautiful place, with nice bar and bar staff, and beautiful restaurant. Food was good to very good. But, they did not bring out the humus 2 of us ordered, nor the shrimp ordered with my pasta. And the manager did not come to discuss this. Could have better service and managerial oversight. Also, room was great - except for the loud people above us, and very thin and squeaky floors. Get the top floor room!

Incredible experience from the concierge assistance for check in and dinner reservations through Bridget and Aadil, and the front desk who helped with literally anything we needed or had questions about. The entire staff, wait service, and chef made our dining experience one to remember (Chefs Table highly recommend to reserve for anyone looking for a unique and personable dinner with some interactions). They truly made you feel welcome and did the absolute best to ensure you had the best possible stay. Daksha was extremely accommodating and always checked on us or helped us whenever we crossed paths. We cant wait to go back.

Went for a family getaway with our 1.5 year old, everyone was so nice and the majority of the guests had really young children as well. The atmosphere was extremely family friendly with lots of activities planned for the weekend we were staying (s’mores, movie night, etc). The heated indoor pool was fantastic, the marketplace had food and drinks we all liked, the restaurant had such good options (we loved the pizza!) and the crib provided by the hotel was a real crib which was so nice. The hotel itself is gorgeous, everything felt very upscale and the interior design made the whole place feel really special. I loved the Aesop products in the bathrooms around the property and in our room. All of the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, helping with bags and interacting with our son. We can’t wait to come back in the warmer months and enjoy all of the outdoor activities to their fullest!

We loved our quick getaway for spring break. The indoor heated pool was a win for our 2 girls. The pool staff was professional (brought us towels, opened and held the door for us). The hotel is beautiful with lots of little hangout
areas. Our girls loved exploring the property. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We loved the decor, the bathroom and the balcony. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. We can’t wait to come back! Only suggestion is to add a vending machine somewhere so the kids can grab a snack.

When we checked out there was a \"kid\" at the pool who was I suppose looking after the area. It was raining and I was going to put my bags by the door. Before I knew it David came running up and asked if he could help me. This is a lesson in customer service. It's people like David and your other employees that make this such a great place to stay. Thank you David for caring.

Staff service was excellent. We went on the off-season and it was perfect to enjoy the peace and quiet. Not all the amenities will be open, but there will be less people.

The in-resort restaurant dinner is top notch. Again, I just have to mention that all the staff were very professional and accommodating.

We had the best time during our stay in August! This time, we traveled with our two sons and they had a great time- loved the paddle boarding amenitiies, the quiet beach area (really small note but the pebbles/shells kept my little one from continuing to play in the shallow water area- uncomfortable to want to play/stand in the water as would bother his feet- but nevertheless he still had the best time when on the board and making sandcastles). The day we wanted to go on the boat, it rained... but getting to look out at the marina was pleasant in itself. Our room was right off the courtyard so our kids could enjoy the grassy area and us parents could still enjoy grabbing a cocktail at the outdoor bar area etc. Lovely time spent at the bar and $2 oyster happy hour was not to be missed too! Bartenders made our drinks to perfection and they were so friendly too. Had a lovely dining experience at Ocean Club~ not to be missed is the tuna tartare where we added Caviar topping-- so so good! The family pool is quite a ways from the rest of the core resort, and not much seems to be appealing in so far as not having nice lounge chairs or a nice bar/food offering closeby... such as the sweet Adult pool near the bar/restaurant area... so we didn't dabble in the family pool which felt a bit inconvenient. Perhaps in the near future, this area could get some love and attention with the new Proper Team involved. :). But thank you Montauk Yacht club, we enjoyed our stay.

Lovely property; needs some finishing touches

The location & property are great. It had several very nice amenities (pool, tennis, bikes, harbor cruise) & the rooms were classic/clean & bath products were Aesop. But the rooms have zero, truly zero, hooks for wet towels & bathing suits, which was simply really problematic for a weekend spent in the water!

The service was really bad, I am not sure whether it was because the kitchen was struggling to deliver ohr food but we had to wait hours to get our drinks or food during breakfast/lunch or dinner.

There was NEVER a spot available to sit at the pool. Apparently people go down and take chairs at 7am in the morning so then you are left with no seats by 8am. We were paying ~1,200$ per night and I have to run down at 7am to get a spot at the pool because it only offers ~15 seats?? That is just ridiculous and unacceptable.

This entire property is beautiful and an absolute getaway. The complimentary boat tour was lovely and the perfect send off on my last day. While I enjoyed my stay over all, it feels that this property still has some kinks to workout. Between being sexually harassed by a dock worker on my walk to the front desk, no clear room service (despite calling multiple times, screaming children, paper thin walls, WiFi that exists but at low speeds, and little to no hot water… I really struggle to justify the price of this option.

We were very disappointed to learn that the resort kitchen was not operating and that food was prepared in a food truck in the parking lot. There were no options for breakfast or lunch and the limited and costly dinner option. We should have been advised prior to our and the meal cost should have been adjusted accordingly.
