The staff was the best I've had during my whole time in SE Asia. I had gotten dehydrated and fainted during my stay and they took such great care of me. Not in a great location, but an easy tuk tuk ride to the main area. Would recommend to solo travelers staying in Phnom Penh.

This hotel has nothing special. We spent three days in Phnom Pem and the hotel was functional for those three days, since we only went to the hotel to sleep. But if you are planning to stay longer, I would suggest you to find another option. It includes breakfast but a very basic one. As said, This hotel has nothing special.

Great hotel Staffs..very helpful

Hotel staffs are great and helpful. Could communicate well in english..not perfect but more than average. The first room given to us was leaking water from air conditioning but staff was quick to act and within 10 minutes had us transferred to another room and was doing repairs on the first room within a day. Try avoiding rooms on the 9th floor as the kitchen is on the 10th floor and the kitchen staffs can be early cooking,chopping,etc and could be unpleasantly noisy very early in the morning

A decent place to stay

Room was fine with a decent sized bed. The furniture and decor was a bit dated, but otherwise was sufficient for our stay. Walked around the neighbourhood, but there wasn't much to see. There are always tuk tuk / taxi drivers hanging about across the street which makes hiring one for a city tour relatively easy. Great buffett breakfast at the hotel restaurant located on the 10th floor which also provides a good view of the city.

We stayed here for 2 night and enjoyed the big clean room and bathroom. There are not really any restaurants in the area so we went to the hotel restaurant instead which was really good. Really nice was the buffet breakfast included in the price.
It's a good hotel for a short stay.

Paper thin walls. Can clearly hear talking next door. Tv. Lots of north asian guests who typically get up very early. Cleaners are straight in rooms at 7am? Clatter bang. Not enough sleep. Breakfast good buffet... for westerners fried eggs (asian)sausage coffee juice toaster bread baguette butter/jams and pineapple/water melon. Seen less choice in some '4'*s

Salita Hotel excellent/quiet budget option

Nice hotel in a reasonably central area. The hotel itself is very nice, with an adequate restaurant on the top floor. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly - the room I wanted was not available the first night, so they shifted me to another room and I stayed there. I am always interested in how quiet a hotel is, and there was some slight noise the first night, but compared to other budget hotels in Phnom Penh quite quiet, and in a quiet neighborhood as well. Could (long) walk to many destinations, and like any other hotel in Phnom Penh there is a permanent group of tuk-tuk drivers stationed outside.^^

We expected this hotel to be quite basic due to it's 3 star rating however, we were suprised by the room quality, staff friendliness and general atmosphere of the hotel. It is a 10-15min Tuk Tuk ride to the main restaurant strip in Phnom Penh but has all the necessities for a comfortable stay; good airconditioning, helpful tour advice and clean rooms.

Good for the price we paid

The hotel was fine for a couple of nights. It's close to S21 and the neighbourhood is busy with some decent bars and restaurants nearby. Everything was fine in the room, clean and with everything you'd expect for the price, although the furniture was a bit worn out. Breakfast was fairly poor compared to other similar hotels we stayed in, but the views from the rooftop restaurant were good!

Fantastic hotel choice in Phnom Penh! Location is pretty good, it's not right on the riverside, but for a mere 2 dollars a tuk tuk will take you there in about 6 minutes! Staff super friendly and helpful, rooms nice and clean! Recommended!

This was a great hotel located 15 minutes from the city center like 2 dollars by tuk-tuk but convenient anyways. The staff was amazing, helpful, friendly, knowledgeable. As this was my first hotel when arriving in Cambodia I found incredibly comforting. The room was imppecable just as western standards. The only thing I have to say is the breakfast is a bit weak but its Cambodia and the standard for hotel breakfast everywhere doesn't differ that much.

nice hotel but location lets it down

The hotel itself is nice, theres a lift and the room has AC, fridge, , tv, hairdryer and wifi which were all working fine. The wifi did frequently cut off and ask you to resign in which was a little annoying, plus on one day it didnt work for a few hours and i was told this was because the hotel was full on that day?
Staff friendly and tried to be helpful, but when i tried to buy a bus ticket onwards i felt pressured into buying a particular one and i was lied to on that occasion which was regretful, i suspect they would have received commission.
Breakfast was ok but ran out in last 30 mins, mostly consisted of various eggs and rice/noodles. I also had lunch in the restaurant one day which was good and reasonably priced.
Location not ideal, its in the middle of nowhere and i was not eager to venture out at night on my own. I went looking for food and coffee one afternoon and came back unsuccessfulm There are always tuk tuks and mototaxis outside though which can take you where you want to go.
Overall i would stay here again its a nice hotel.

Hotel is located in nice area. Staff is very friendly and helpfull excepting the situation decribed below.
Tasty asian breakfasts in the restaurant with city view.

They should trust more to the guests than to the cleaning ladies. Because the cleaning lady left empty beer bottle in the room and didn't put new in the fridge, we had to pay it twice at the check-out. Because we needed to catch to bus, we didn't continue the negotiation and we paid it. That is the only negative experience from this hotel.

Disappointing.

Would have had higher score if breakfasts were hot and a better choice. Food displaid in heated dishes but burners were not lit so went cold very quickly. Fried Eggs produced in quantity and left to sit so very unpleasant. Hotel cafe never open. Internet very erratic.

I loved my stay at the Salita. Breakfast was good, the room was comfortable, a/c and wifi worked nicely. Staff was very nice and accommodating. Walking distance to the Genocide museum (and worth the visit). Room was clean and TV has a nice selection of channels. Ride to the hotel from the airport is about 25min, and would be a LOT more comfortable in an actual taxi v/s Tuk Tuk (although Tuk Tuk is a little cheaper). Totally depends on what you prefer, cheap or comfort.

Stayed here for five nights recently. The hotel offers excellent value with AC, big rooms, cleaned regularly and constant hot water. The breakfast though lacking in variety for european palatte was more than adequate and replenished regularly. The staff were always cheerful and willing to help with information and further arrangements.

The hotel is rather a long way from the main tourist areas but this is well advertised in the hotel information. Tuk tuks are readily available in order to transport you to this area for $2.

Would not hesitate to stay here again if visiting Phnom Penh.

Very average stay.

Booked a king size bed- when entering the room was surprised to see twin beds instead. Went back downstairs to inform the concierge and he wasn't helpful until pushed. He said they ran out of rooms with double/queen/king beds and only had twin. He offered to push the beds together for us. I argued that I paid for a king and that is what I should get. He made a call to his manager and then offered us the VIP room but with a surcharge of 10 USD for that one night and at the subsequent stays we would be transferred to the room we booked. Long story short I reasoned my way to have the VIP room for 'free' and they were 'nice' to inform me the NEXT morning that I could have the same room.

The room was simply furnished for a 'VIP' title. I would pay 20 USD for what we experienced but according to the concierge it would cost us 60 USD if booked online (ridiculous).

The underside of the toilet seat cover (the one you sit on) had yellow stains which still appeared to be wet and the plumbing system was interested for a 'VIP' room. All the drainage water from the sink came out of a tube next to the toilet and into the drain there.

Finally the good:
1. Top floor breakfast area with a beautiful view of Phnom Penh
2. Decent continental breakfast (incl)

I enjoyed my staying at the hotel, I got a very nice room which is not so common when I am traveling alone, usually they give me a leftover room, at least that's how it feels. But this time I had a really nice and spacious and clean room. The breakfast was nice considering it wasn't western, but anyway it was descent.

I enjoyed my stay at Salita Hotel. The hotel was well equipped, clean and well maintained. The hotel staff was extremely courteous and helpful. They went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and hassle free. For instance: I was travelling with my mother, who is a pure vegetarian and does not even eat egg. At Salita, they respected her food constraints and separately served her delicious stir fried vegetables for breakfast. Truly appreciate them going the extra mile!

We arrived the hotel late at night from Siem Reap. The staff recommended a good Chinese restaurant for our late dinner. The room was fine but the hair dryer was malfunction. I asked the front desk for help in the mid night, and a staff came up for checking, just tried pressing the buttons as I did, and could not help. I asked for the spare dryer, but was so surprised that he said there was no dryer and advised me to dry my hair with the towel! I inform the front desk in the next morning, they thank me for reporting the problem and said there is spare hair dryer. The staff on night shift should be trained.

Best Hotel In Phnom Penh!

The staff was amazing. They spoke English very well. They arranged tuk tuks for us to go to any destination we wanted. Then even arranged the bus ticket for us to get to Siem Reap and got us a discount on the tickets that were already dirt cheap to begin with. The free breakfast was buffet style and was delicious. We are returning in April and this WILL be the hotel we stay at. We stayed at different hotels throughout our visit and we missed Salita the whole time.

One small negative is the coffee in the morning had no fresh milk and was disappointing. Staff were friendly. Location was not down town but had enough shops and restaurants around. Upon our arrival, we were upgraded to a VIP suite on the 9th floor- which was quite a pleasant surprise! The room was spacious, clean and modern. Staff were helpful in helping us arrange taxis, tuk-tuks and massages. The in-room massage,albeit reasonably priced, was disappointing, and not recommended. The only improvement would be for the complementary breakfast; the selection of food was limited, and not very good. It was made up by the beautiful rooftop view of the city. The hotel is close to the Orussey market and S-21 prison, otherwise it is quite far from the other main sights (approx $3 tuk-tuk ride to the royal palace, etc).

Well-situated near major thoroughfares

Salita Hotel is something like a 10-carat gem in an ordinary local neighborhood. At first we thought we were \"in the sticks,\" but actually major north/south and east/west thoroughfares are very close by. Hotel staff are eager to please. Mr. Dorn's command of English and desire to help make arrangements for tours, taxis, etc., was a tremendous asset . Breakfast is ample in the 10th floor restaurant, which is also open for lunch/dinner. Our room was comfortably large and well suited for storage of suitcases, with ample desk, drawer, shelf and counter spaces for laying down personal possessions. We were there 13 nights so had a good look at the consistency of performance.

Yes it's a non touristy part of town, but that's great for us. We went to a very local bar there and enjoyed a drink. The view from the resteraunt is amazing. Only downside was the one guy at reception said he would sort out a hotel at Siem Reap but instead there was a taxi waiting made it very difficult for us as most hotels there were full. Apart from that it was a lovely room

Really nice modern hotel, not a great locale

Wonderful hotel in excellent condition. Very well maintained. Large rooms. Friendly service. The only small complaint is the surrounding area. Its not exactly in the nicest part of town. I felt perfectly safe. Its just a bit of a longer walk, taxi ride to most of what you want to see in Phnom Penh.

This is a very good hotel to stay at for the price. It doesn't have much frills but the rooms are clean and the bathroom has a nice bathtub. For the price, I don't think you can find much better. Location is not that great since it is not really close to anything that you want to go see but Phnom Penh is a small city so it shouldn't really matter.

Salita Hotel - Wonderful view of the city

We chose this hotel on a whim, but we were pleasantly surprised. They upgraded us without even asking. Also the buffet is quite satisfactory with an excellent view of the city. I couldn't see anything higher. The staff was quite friendly and helpful. My wife took our son out and saw a coconut dealer and after he cut the coconut recognized that she didn;t have any money. The guard saw this dilemma and he paid for my wife's coconut. This went beyond the call of duty.

the hotel is clean, nice and comfortable. but it is in a residential/small shop area and the neighborhood was not very clean.
Early in the morning starting 5am the shops started to open for business and it was a bit noisy.

Indeed, this hotel is away from the tourist concentration and if you do not mind the distance, then this hotel may be your alternative choice. For a single traveller, the room is decent, comfortable and new. The staff are friendly who will talk to you and ensure if you're alright.

In terms of attractions, it is about 7 minutes walk (depending on your speed) to Toul Sleng Genocide Museum and Olympic Stadium. If you're those who are adventurous, do explore the area where you meet the locals.

Walking to the riverside and other attractions further away from the hotel is not entirely encouraged especially due to the heat unless you want to experience and observe phnom penh a little more. I did the walking to and from hotel, wherever I could, during the day and night and only to be greeted by the friendly security person and bellhops.

Première chambre salle de bain sale et pas d’eau chaude. On nous change de chambre pour une plus petite mais propre. Petit déjeuner horrible presque plus rien à manger et froid.

Dieses Hotel erfüllt keinerlei internationale Standards. Am Anreisetag habe ich mit dem Rezeptionisten einen long stay zum halben Preis vereinbart, er sagte, dieser beträgt 15 USD. Am nächsten Tag werde ich von der Rezeptionistin geweckt und gefragt, wann ich auschecken würde. Sie wurde einfach nicht informiert. Beim Auschecken selbst verlangte wiederum ein neuer Mann plötzlich 20 USD für den Halbtagesaufenthalt. Erst nach mehrmaliger Intervention bzw. der Ankunft des Rezeptionisten vom Vortag wurde der Betrag endlich auf den vereinbarten revidiert. Zur Krönung musste ich erfahren, dass dieses Hotel über keinen elektronischen Terminal für die Zahlungen der Gäste verfügt, also keine Bankomat- oder Kreditkartenzahlungen möglich sind!!!

Am Abend zuvor wollte ich einen Flug bzw. ein Hotel online buchen, das Internet funktionierte einfach nicht! Ich musste dann am Rezeptionscomputer, der mehr schlecht als recht funktionierte, meine Buchungen vornehmen.

Die TV-Qualität war unter jeglicher Kritik, das Zimmer wurde nicht gesäubert, lediglich auf meine Anfrage wurden neue Handtücher geliefert.

Nie wieder!

この地区が便利な方なら選択肢になります。

経済発展により、新しいホテルが増えているプノンペンですが、こちらは古くからあるホテルです。プノンペンに頻繁に来ていたとき、よく宿泊していました。繁華街のボンケンコンから少し西に離れています。市内の西側に用件のある方なら利用価値があるのではないでしょうか。以前はWi-Fiが弱かったのですが、改善されており、よくつながりました。

安価で、便利なホテル

スタッフはどなたも親切で感じよかったです。無料の朝食は期待してなかったのですが、朝あまり食べない私にはパンとコーヒーとフルーツがあれば十分。他にも中華系のおかずやお粥がありました。
ホテルを出てすぐにﾄｩｸﾄｩｸのおじさんたちもいたので移動にも困らないと思います。中心から少し外れてるので初乗り2ドルでした。(中心地では初乗り3ドルからみたいです)
唯一ホテルでマイナスだったのはお湯の温度がうまく調整できないことです。だいたい始めに熱湯がでて、あわてて温度を下げると限りなく水に近い温度になってしまいました。
でも、洗面台からの水と比べると確かにお湯なのですが…。4日滞在しましたが、ずっとそうでした。まあ、2日目からは想定して対応できたので、あまり気にならなくなりました。
セキュリティボックスは、自分で暗証番号を設定するタイプだったので安心でした。
最終日、飛行機が夜の便だったのでチェックアウト後スーツケースをフロントにほぼ1日預かってもらいました。お願いしたときも親切に対応してくれました。うけとりもスムーズ。
全体として、価格を考えると十分快適なホテルです。次行くときも利用したいです。

部屋は清潔で眺めがよく、スタッフもフレンドリー、

ロケーションはわかりにくいが、プノンペンは公共交通機関がほとんどなくトゥクトゥクなどで行くのであまり問題がない。部屋はビジネスホテルより広さやデザインに余裕があり、また眺めが良い。朝食は最上階の１０階で市街を眺めながらのブッフェ方式で気分が良かった。

値段相応の普通のホテル

バスタブ付きということで、お湯を張ろうとしたが、水圧が低くてできなかった。また湯温も最初は熱湯のち体温以下と非常に不安定だった。
朝食も可も無く普通。

Perus Ok huone, wifi hieman hidas, mutta käytävässä tukiaseman lähellä toimii hyvin. Sijainti siten kaukana rannasta ettei kovin monesti viitsi väliä kävellä, kolme tähteä tälle majoitukselle, yöpyä voin jatkossakin, mikäli hinta on edullinen.
