The staff was very friendly and lovely. The best part is this property had self parking with validation, counts for a lot in a very busy city.

Our 4-night stay did not meet expectations for an InterContinental property.

The staff were excellent — Oscar, Enrique (valet), and the housekeeping team were kind and helpful — but several service and maintenance issues were never resolved, and we were unable to speak with a manager.

Washcloths (“facial towels”) were not properly stocked. Only one was provided for two guests, and we had to call daily to request more. Larger towels were sent instead. This should not require repeated requests at this level.

The shower had virtually no cold water — temperatures ranged from extremely hot to scalding, which is a safety concern. Bathroom fixtures also showed visible rust, grime, and the in-room TV casting feature never worked.

24-hour room service was advertised but not available after 11pm.

Most concerning was the front desk interaction at checkout. After using express checkout like other guests, we were stopped and told by the staff member Anaisa “didn’t know if the card would go through,” despite an existing substantial authorization. This felt unnecessary and unprofessional.

Considering our total exceeded $1,200 for four nights, the experience did not reflect expected standards, and we chose to complete the rest of our trip elsewhere

I really enjoyed my time at the hotel. It was clean, modern, and smelled amazing. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was courteous. The rooms were spacious, updated, and clean. The only reason I don't give it a 5-star review is because they only have double beds in the rooms instead of queens if you need two beds. It made sharing a bed not as comfortable as it could have been.

Los cuartos siempre estaban limpios, el personal de limpieza siempre muy amables, están dos señores llamados Oscar los dos en el front desk, muy amables y atentos con toda la gentes, muchas veces se nos olvida que es un trabajo que este personal esta haciendo y ellos no son los dueños del lugar, pero te tratan de la mejor manera y atención personal. Gracias a todos los que hacen posible que estos lugares te hagan sentir como en casa.

The hotel itself was very nice and the location was great, which made getting around very easy. The room was clean and comfortable, and overall the property is maintained.

That said, I was disappointed with how my booking was handled. When I checked in, I asked whether any upgrades were available since I am a Platinum Orbitz customer and Orbitz listed this hotel as a VIP partner. I was told the hotel has no connection with Orbitz and that they “just do bookings,” which left me unsure whether this was an Orbitz issue or simply a lack of willingness by the hotel to extend any perks to guests who book through third-party sites. The interaction felt dismissive and gave the impression that guests who book through Orbitz are treated differently.

Another major issue was noise. I stayed on the 4th floor and there was a loud rock concert or event on the main (1st) floor that was clearly audible in my room until around 11:30 PM. I was traveling with a toddler, and this was extremely inconsiderate. If the noise carried to the 4th floor, I can’t imagine how disruptive it must have been for guests on the 2nd or 3rd floors.

Breakfast was an additional fee, but I will say it was very good & worth it from a quality standpoint.

Overall, the hotel itself is nice & in a great location, but the guest experience;particularly for fams and for those booking through Orbitz needs improvement. Better communication around third-party bookings and consideration for quiet hours would go a long way

Rooms are clean. The cabinet drawer and doors need updating. Hotel centrally located with a big mall across the street with restaurants and fast food restaurants as well throughout the area.

The hotel is very active usually from Saturday through Sunday with all the ball rooms and outside gathering space that they have. Four out of the seven days that we stayed there there was always some type of ballroom activity from weddings to corporate events. Downside the Concierge service is very poor. The concierge personnel was really never there when needed and could not accommodate or recommend anyone else to provide tour service if they were booked. Also not far from the Historic Center where all the action was happening during Christmas holidays. But overall good hotel to stay for the area.

We only had one morning to rest, and at 8:30 AM someone knocked on our door insisting on whether we had any laundry to wash—completely unnecessary and disruptive. Check-in was slow, no one greeted us, and the lobby restrooms were filthy. Th breakfast staff is very nice the food is ok not great.

The beds were comfortable and the towels were large and nice, but overall the stay was not worth the price. Hyatt Centric offers far better service, food, and location

The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The amenities were all top-notch, and this is one of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed in. As a bonus, the hotel is within walking distance to the Metrocentro mall via a pedestrian bridge. I felt very safe throughout my stay and would definitely return.

The room was clean but the shower looks duty because needs upgrades, it’s old and just half of the shower is cover, every time you shower all the floor outside gets wet.

Worst experience I have had at a hotel… will never be back. There was some kind of nightclub/concert going on till midnight. The noise was so loud , it shook the walls of the room. When I asked the staff about it they told me I should have checked the schedule of events and not book on those days! Very bad service and response since the main reason to go there is to get a good nights rest! Never again…

There was a huge party right under our room, which made our room vibrate all night! I asked for a different room and they couldn’t accommodate us! When I checked in, they should have let us know. Overall, lots of American food, shopping centers, central market and historic center was really close by. Streets are very crowded just be patient when driving around.
