I had a wonderful experience. The room and all areas im the hotel were very clean. However, the best was the customer service i received, specifically from Alejandro. He was always attentive, helpful and very polite. He is the best. I wish there were more people like him.

The staff were lovely, but that is as far as it goes I’m afraid. I’m not sure what to say other than there has to be much better accommodation. Photos on site are way better than in the flesh. Shame as it Coukd be made nice but not sure what you do about the noise. Sorry but wouldn’t stay again.

Hotel is no longer called laurentuan hotel , name is different than website , a few customers were at reception complaining , inckuding myself, that they had been driving around for a while before found. Name should be updated to avoid these priblems.
Cecilia
The room wasn’t what I reserved, dirty, noisy the staff wasn’t helpful. The images on the website don’t match the actual place, they even changed the name of it
Danna
Friendly staff, clean
Janinea
Very clean. Lovely and very helpful staff. Alejandro and Yvonne were so friendly and helpful with finding places and activities in the area. Very safe. Delicious breakfasts. And just so very relaxing while being within walking distance of many things.

It was a different hotel name took me over 45 minutes to find a hotel with that name since they chathe name and no hody notify thehotel was having issue with plumbing and sent me to another hotel very horribly experience
Paige
Room was great. AC was awesome. Alejandro was the best! He was so helpful and friendly our entire stay. Only thing I'll note was that the water from the shower was FREEZING
Hector
I woke up on the morning of my departure with numerous insect bites all over my body, consistent with bed bug exposure in the room. I experienced severe itching, swelling, and physical discomfort as a result.
I had to leave immediately for my flight and could not notify the front desk in person, but this is a serious sanitation and guest safety issue. I have photographic evidence of the bites.
This stay caused physical harm and distress and did not meet basic standards of cleanliness or safety.

Alejandro was amazing! Super friendly and helpful! We were having problems finding the hotel and our Spanish isn't very good and he was able to communicate with us in English and direct us to the hotel. The room was super cute and clean, and a decent breakfast! I would book here again!

First time staying at this hotel — the rooms are very clean, and the staff is amazing! They truly go above and beyond to make your stay a unique experience. Big shoutout to Alejandro for his help with directions and his constant friendly smile. I will definitely be coming back!

This hotel has a disco bar behind it playing extremely loud music until 3:00 am. While the management offered to move us to a different room, we did not believe this was a suitable solution. We reserved 3-nights, and could not get out of there fast enough after the first night. The property would not reimburse for the 2 nights we did not stay, even after Expedia advocated for us. I do not recommend this hotel and the word luxury is very misleading.

The front desk employee was very rude. The bathroon on my room doesn't have door. And not TV or internet service.
FREDERID
The location ia convenient, but the property is aged and somehow wasted. The room does not have fridge. We arrived early and the personnel told us the room was not ready at that time (which ia reasonable). However, we arrived three hours later at the check-in time and the room still was not ready.
Owen
I stayed at this hotel on my last day on the country and honestly was the best experience. Restaurant was around the corner and everything was close. The place clean and if you looking for a place with a bar closer to you then this hotel would be the best option.
ALBA
The bed was dirty with a smell of sweat and. I asked to change the pillowcases but I didn’t get much help. So I asked for towels to cover the bed to sleep.and it was late at night to look for another hotel I don’t recommended this place.

THE INCLUDE BREAKFAST WAS HORRIBLE, I HAD A BREAKSFAST MEETING WORK AND I PAY $8 FOR SOMETHING HORRIBLE... IT WAS A SHAME TO HAVE TO SHARE THAT BREAKSFAST WITH A SUPPLIER.

Our stay at Laurentia was everything we needed and more. The location was great because it was walkable, there were plenty of convenience stores, pharmacies, places to eat and places to shop nearby. The National Hospital is also a 20 minute walk and super easy to get to (we were visiting family). The room itself was beautiful, a little on the small side and it had what we needed. Our room did not have a hair-dryer or clothing iron but we were able to get it from our concierge without an issue. The breakfast was delicious - the presentation and taste were on point. A special shoutout to our concierge and do it all man, Alejandro. He went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible and was super knowledgeable about the area. He was also super helpful whenever we reached out for help and he was always ready with a kind word when we saw him on the grounds - he is a star and Laurentia is lucky to have him.
Doris
Staff was friendly and nice. They provide great service. The property was clean but old. However It was good for the price. But the area around where the hotel is located is not walkable. You need a car to get there.
Doris
The staff were great. All were friendly and always willing to help. Specially Alejandro was super nice, and always willing to help.
Yanira

Very clean and friendly staff. The security guard was super friendly. He was working more than 24 hours and still manage to give us excellent service. Would recommend to family and friends. I will definitely be back.

Manuel
I only stayed a night I would come back for future stays.

Very nice staying in this hotel, great helpful staff. The owner on the other hand needs to update and take care of the facility, it needs a lot of work done maintenance wise.

The only downside was the parking space, too tight, other than that, it was great!

Front desk staff was not very friendly. Breakfast was not all that good. The first night that I stayed there it rain a lot & the ceiling leaked & the room got all wet, I reported this to front desk & they said that they would send someone to fix it but never did. I ended up leaving a day earlier than my original reservation. I would never stay here again.

Good things: safe location convenient to attractions in Zona Rosa; friendly staff; inexpensive;

The cleaning service was great, the management was not ,they switched me to another room next to a noisy club with complete disregard and charge me and extra $40.00 in cash ,i felt i didn't deserved this treatment
Rhina
The hotel is very clean and in a central location but the walls are thin and on top of that, there’s a lot of noise from the bars outside. The only thing that drowned out the noise was the A/C as the TV didn’t work. The breakfast was meh.
Mutaisem
Nice, helpful and courteous staff

Great location in the heart of San Salvador
Best things: location, security, food, cleanliness, service.
Not so good things: maintenance.
Overall, I'd recommend this place given the convenience it gives and I hope they will provide a better service after renovations

The Place is great . Staff is amazing , The only Bad of this place is that there are a few nightclubs and bars near and they play music from 6:00PM - 2:00AM you hear the music inside the rooms loud .. But everything else is great!!!!

The room we stayed the first night was small without closet or any place to hang any clothes. The bathroom without any towel hangers and the towels need to be replaced they are like rags. Customer service was excellent Rebeca was very helpful and accommodating to our needs.

Spiders and cockroach in the room. Rarely there's someone at the front desk. Hotel tried to charge extra for having some visitors come over just during the day. We had to even call the police bc the hotel was trying to kick us when we explained the situation that they are just visiting for a moment and not staying to sleep. This hotel tries to scam foreigners so if you are not able to speak spanish fluently and solve the situations with the the local law enforcements, I strongly suggest you to look for another hotel.
Richard
You need to take advantage of the Restaurant in the premises and also the garden

The only problem was ants in the bedroom.

I stayed at this property a couple months ago over and I loved it, I re-booked it thinking I would feel that same cozy magic I felt this time. When I got to my check in, there was no one upfront and someone told me to just have a sit until the main person came in, they gave me the key and went into the room. Room was okay, you could hear everyone, employees laugh on the hallway and talk, the next door family was very loud. Hot water did not work at all but I didn't make a big deal out of it. On my last day when I woke up, there was 2 beg bugs crawling on me and I saw there was 2 dots of blood in the bed, I knew I had been bitten. The little 2 bugs were crawling down my arm and at that point I just wanted to get up and leave. Went to the shower and to my surprise there was no running water, went to the front office and told them and they looked at me crazy and the only explanation I got was we will check but feel free to have breakfast. The breakfast crew and the meal itself was actually very nice. Came back to the front and asked if the issue was resolved and the gentlemen at the front said \"not sure because the water works in every room\" and I mentioned about the water not being hot all he said was \"oh im sorry\" so came back to the room, water was coming out but with low pressure going in and out and I just showered and let it go, didn't want to continue any conversation with no one there because I felt they didn't care. Sadly I won't be back.
Jose
would have given it a 5 but property was being remodeled and had something things not working properly all the time. But all good, very friendly staff

Hygiene level way too low. Totally disappointing
I am actually disappointed with my stay. The room is very dirty. Bed sheets are stained, when i lifted them lots of hair. Floor full of hair, towels stained. The frame over the bed is very dirty. The amount of dust is huge. Too bad it is really disappointing to have below then average cleanliness standards
