Stayed here for two nights and absolutely loved every moment of it. They set up a taxi to take us from the airport to their accommodations. Upon arrival staff was helpful and hanged on to our luggage until our room was ready! We ordered some drinks and chilled by the pool. They helped bring our luggage’s into the room and we felt right at home. The water worked perfectly fine, the AC was brisk cold and the bed was very comfortable. The food at the bar could improve as they didn’t have several things on the menu, and food was slightly slow coming out. I did however really enjoy the ceviche and pina colada. I love how it felt more like an apartment with the amenities of a hotel. We were close to El Zonte and El Tunco. I would definitely return here. Big shoutout to the staff for trying their best as we didn’t speak Spanish and they spoke limited English!
I must add, the vibe at night by the bar/pool is unmatched!

I've stayed at this boutique hotel three times. Staying here it's always a great experience..rooms are a comfortable size, they include a mini fridge..some rooms even have a great view of a nearby mountain. A hot tasty breakfast is included. And the hotel staff are always very friendly and professional.

Staff was amazing and super helpful to make sure I had everything I needed during my stay. Great location as I was able to walk to a gym, grab amazing coffee around the corner, and visit the historic center with a quick Uber ride. The complimentary breakfast was top notch as well! Will definitely be back.

The property was immaculate and safe. I appreciate the friendly staff at the time, from check-in to breakfast and check-out. I appreciated the 24-hour security on the property. The restaurant located on the property was so pretty and quiet. The servers were amazing and very attentive. I will be using this property again and refer it to friends and family.

Love love love this hotel. Super clean very cute and private. The staff are wonderful. There is enough parking since the Hotel has about 15 rooms. We stayed in Room 1 and it had a nice balcony. Breakfast was included with our stay and was delicious.
On top of that this hotel has Honest staff. Long story short I left a valuable jewelry in the room, and 4 days later I was able to pick it up. Will definitely come back.

Beautiful boutique hotel located in a good neighborhood in town. Very walkable just minutes away from many restaurants and shopping mall. Our room was spacious with a balcony and a decent size bathroom. Also love that they have full length mirror and a makeup mirror outside of the bathroom. Perhaps having a small indoor lounging chair would make it even better. Breakfast is good.

The hotel was in a good location (San Beneto - safe but not walkable area - had to take Uber everywhere) and staff were friendly, although nobody spoke English. The room was clean and spacious but bathroom sink was broken (although functional). Breakfast was great. Overall, good value for money.

Wonderful, true “boutique” property with lots of charm and character. In a good part of town that is very walkable to some restaurants and a brewery. walkability is important to me, and this hotel delivered. Breakfast was included at the adjacent restaurant and was definitely a highlight of our stay. The food was incredible. We didn’t have a car during our stay, but I think it would have been a challenge if we did. Overall, we had an excellent experience here and would certainly recommend to anyone traveling to San Salvador.

Good experience at Kaleo
Personnel was friendly but I had to protest for being assigned a room with a plastic green cover in the window and people working and making noise on the outside.
The manager assigned us another room. And that make the difference. Overall service good and friendly, the breakfasts are amazingly good

We had a great stay at Kaleo. Clean, safe and well situated. Smallish complaint is that hot water for showers is lacking. That, and the property does not accept Bitcoin which is the reason we did not extend much longer. Highly recommended.
Luis
All good with this boutique hotel except the parking. There are like 10-15 rooms and just space for 2 cars inside the building for all the guests.

Nice Boutique
This hotel is very small, nice and quiet boutique hotel. The staff isn’t so friendly but I think it had more to do what the language barrier. None of the staff speaks English so you will need to know at least a little Spanish or have a translation app. The cafe there has very limited food and they charge you for EVERYTHING. Any substitutions will be additional even if it’s an even swap out.

We had a wonderful time at the Kaleo Hotel on our first trip to El Salvador. The staff is incredibly kind and accommodating.
The rooms are clean, and they always make the beds, provide clean towels, and keep them tidy. The food is delicious. Sometimes even if the kitchen was closed, they were able to accommodate a coffee and small snack even though they didn't have to.
If you want to do an excursion or trip, they can arrange a driver. We wanted to go to the Santa Ana Volcano and they told us about the driver. Of course, it's extra about 100 dollars (this is pretty close to if you got a private driver). In the end, we went with a private driver so a bit less but the option is there.
I have so many good things to say! The only thing that can be a little problem is that the room we stayed in wasn't soundproof. We were close to the lobby and we could hear people who would get in late or wake up early, but honestly, it's no biggie. Just bring some earplugs!
Highly recommend!

Very nice hotel, clean rooms and surroundings. The staff was very professional as well as helpful. They do their best to provide the best service they can.
The rooms are spotless and comfortable. The area is safe and I walked everywhere during the day. Probably fine at night too, but I did not go out for dinner etc.
Restaurant has a small menu, but the dishes are well prepared and reasonably priced.
Breakfast was included, and tasty.
I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

This hotel was so amazing! The staff was incredibly helpful. The complimentary breakfast was absolutely delicious with several choices. The rooms were super clean, no bugs, comfortable bed, and hot water with the shower. I would highly recommend checking out Cerveceria Capitales restaurant that is less than a five minute walk from the hotel. Every thing at this restaurant was only $1.50. Moving forward, I plan to support more boutique hotels versus the super popular ones. If you have any doubts, don't. Just stay here. This is such a nice spot.
Marlene
The Hotel is in a nice area and easy access to go anywhere.

Loved my stay here
Great hotel! Really awesome staff who went out of their way to help with any question or need. Very good breakfast included. Rooms were very posh and comfortable. Hot water in the showers! The hotel is in the middle of a nice quiet neighborhood but close enough to San Benito with plenty of dining options nearby.

Kaelo Boutique Hotel was a fantastic stay. It's modern, clean and safe. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.
Kaleo is located in a very safe residential area of San Benito, and within walking distance of a lot of restaurants.
My room was very clean and cozy, and was made each day. I staying in room 11 - it had a sliding door which accessed a beautiful green/garden space. The décor in the room and across the entire hotel was modern and simple.
Breakfast was à la carte, and the options were delicious. They were able customize orders as well.
There was a mini fridge in the lobby area that had a variety of beverages. The small bottles of water were free and unlimited. The Coca-Cola and domestic beers were /- $1.50 each.
WIFI was fast and reliable for the most part. Only thing I'd say could be improved was the addition of safes to the rooms.
Kaleo is a gem in San Salvador. I'd recommend it to everyone, and would stay here again.

I asked for a taxi when I arrived and I was told the driver would wait with my name when I exit. However, there was no driver to be seen outside of the exit area. When I called the hotel, the front desk didn’t speak English (thankfully I knew a little Spanish), but there was some confusion because to them the exit means the parking lot, but for me (and I would say a lot of airports), it means when you exit the airport. There were taxi drivers waiting by the exit of the airport with names of people but I was told my driver couldn’t go there (I’m not sure why?). Anyhow, finally figured out taxi driver was in parking, but couldn’t get information from hotel on how to access parking. Finally, got into a parking lot, couldn’t find driver still. I finally asked for taxi driver number to ask what parking lot he was in, and found out I was in the wrong parking lot. This was personally a bit of a fail on their communication. They should’ve communicated that the taxi driver would’ve been in the parking lot, in parking lot 3, and a map on how to walk there…however, everything else went smoothly after that. Hotel is very safe. Close to restaurants, but not that safe to walk across rush hour traffic.

Beautiful boutique hotel in San Salvador. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. The hotel is up to date and has many personal touches. This is a good place to stay if you want to be close to everything with a cheap price. I will be returning after my stay!

I really appreciate the time taken in the design and detailing.

The hotel was in a centralized area. Breakfast was great. The room was clean and had all the needed amenities. The hotel screams boutique hotel. The walls are a bit thin if there is any complaint to be made at all. They have a small gym area but it really wouldn't be qualified as a gym (no cardio options, just some weights and a peddle stepper). Also, we paid for our breakfast because we checked in early but we also checked out before breakfast was served the last day. I was hoping not to get charged but I was. It is what it is. Prices were reasonable.

Everything was really excellent; the staff is very friendly, the room small but clean all the time, food is good; the only issue is the parking (you have to park outside the building; overall is an excellent choice) location is great 👍

Beautiful hotel. Very unique. It includes breakfast, so that is always a plus. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay at a clean and beautiful hotel. The staff were super nice and made the stay a wonderful one.

Great Location!
Great location, clean, modern, easy access to everything in the city center. Breakfast was great with about 15 options. Tv with Netflix available for English speaking travelers.

The people were so beautiful, strategic and safe location and easy access to restaurants or other interesting places. The breakfast and dinner we’re delicious!! Just missing closets inside of the room, and little bit of noise in my room, maybe because it was near the street, but nothing to worry, I fully recommend and will definitely recommend!!
