It is a nice central location, very nice hotel, they had a very grand included buffet style breakfast, they had a a karaoke night that was fun, the only thing I would have like was either parking or valet parking it was self park that was a Debbie downer for me even more because it was rainy even we can in late after a great night explore the capital and their parking lot was full we had to park on the street. The staff were friendly(restaurant area) and yeah it was great.

Lovely I spent one month there and it felt like home. I had a great view and the rooms were peaceful and no noise disturbed my stay. I love how they had complimentary pastries and coffee in the afternoon it was the best hotel better than I could have ever been.

Overall, good experience from the Location to breakfast I do recommend..

The hotel room. Very clean, food good staff excellent ,improvements I will say take care of the trash container on the hall way next to the elevator at 5 floor a was a strong smell, other then that, I loved
Juan Benjamin
The staff was so friendly, the hotel was clean and close to everything, we enjoyed our stay.
Miguel
It was an excellent stay. We stayed in standard room for about a week with the kids to enjoy the city. We were next to La Gran Villa, which included plenty of restaurants and stores. We were also close to other malls and many of the tourist sites to be seen in San Salvador. It is very easy to get to the tourist sites from the hotel via Uber. The stay itself was great thanks to the staff. Everyone is very attentive and efficient.
Randolph
Excelente service and everybody profesional and friendly

Buena ubicación, desayuno incluido rico
KATINA
Honestly, very bad.
Front desk wanted to charge $33 for checking in 60 to 30 minutes early.
They put 1 towel for 4 persons and mad that I called to ask for more.
No room service anymore, had to come down to pick up our food. The Menu QR didnt work, so they had to give the full menu spoken over the phone.. or i had to come pick a menu downstairs every time.
On Saturday, they wanted to tell me no pick-up at 9:50pm. I argued and they said oh well, ok.
The tables in the restaurant were always dirty and full of trash unless I asked to have it cleaned to seat. And every night after eating from there, one of our family members had stomaches and sick.

Very inconvenient without parking lot for guests if you go out when you get back, there is no parking available not even for the guests.
Rodolfo
My experience at Fairfield by Marriott San Salvador has been very disappointing. The hotel itself is well located, has good amenities, and the facilities are overall nice. Unfortunately, the service completely ruins the experience.
The staff at check in is discourteous, unfriendly, and seems unwilling to help or understand the needs of guests. Simple interactions are met with bad attitudes and lack of professionalism, which is not what you expect from a Marriott-branded property.
Staff in dinning areas is very friendly and helpful - this made a balance
Also the hotel is extremely noisy. During my stay, the hotel organized karaoke events at an excessively loud volume, and the noise reached directly into the guest rooms, making it impossible to rest properly. Even outside of that, there are constant loud noises throughout the building — doors slamming, banging sounds, and poor sound insulation everywhere.
Overall, the experience has been very poor. While the location and amenities are good, the lack of customer service and the constant noise make this a place I would not choose to stay at again.

We loved the location within La Gran Via. Very close to restaurants and very good breakfast buffet with eggs, pupusas, pastries, fruot, and more. Room was extremely clean and comfortable. We were able to get connecting rooms. Staff was very nice. We would definitely stay there again.

There is no parking on premise, you have to park at the Marriot Courtyard's parking lot about a block away, that is if you are lucky. If not, you have to park on the street.
No swimming pool on site, you can use the Courtyard's pool for a $15 fee per person.

Nice place to stay but had a couple issues while we were there. A pipe burst and overnight, a generator came on at least a couple times that was really loud. I slept with ear plugs to second night.
Edgar
Breakfast was good taste and variety

Clean room and friendly staff. The laundry room was a little old it took the dryer 2 hours to dry our clothes. Food was ok.

Went to Shakira concert. Paid over $400 a night for the tiniest room ever. The a/c wasn’t working properly. Breakfast ran out before time. Great location but I won’t be visiting again, specially for $400 the night.

No microwave but otherwise everything you expect from a Marriott in more developed countries - excellent service, immaculate room, safe neighborhood with monitored parking, and the breakfast had impressive variety. Overall amazing… I wish they had availability the next few nights because we couldn’t find any hotels nearly as delightful anywhere in San Salvador.
Elmer
Highly recommended great staff

It was very unfortunate since I had very high expectations, we lost power about 5 times on our first and only night there. I was actually in the shower and the room got pitch black. The next morning I was ready for a shower and there was no hot water, I called the desk service, they apologized but did nothing about it. Location is great, not sure I would ever stay here again.

Room wasn’t ready at 3:15 pm that we arrived.
Receptionist said to wait or come back in 20 minutes. We went to the bar for a drink, at 4:05 I went back to the reception and the receptionist Wes talking to a co-worker, I asked if the room was ready and she said ohhhh let me check, yes is ready, if I hadn’t go ask she wouldn’t have let us know who knows until what time
Not staying there again.

The room is nice but the beds are not comfortable the water pressure in the shower is very low. It’s a busy location lots of traffic around.

Excellent hotel with very friendly staff and good location from all points of distances which can easily be covered by car. The price is a bit high given room sizes but overall highly recommend this hotel in San Salvador when you visit.
