Lovely stay for one night. The breakfast was incredible, the view is out of this world. The traffic can be nosy on the main road but not that it bothered us! Very accommodating service and the friendliest staff!

The hotel is comfortable. At first, I was a little confused by the location, but Francesco helped me get there. It's clean, quiet, and the staff is very attentive. The breakfast is delicious and varied. There's a bus stop in front of the hotel; you can take the bus back right there. To get downtown, you have to walk about 15 minutes or wait for a bus that takes you downtown. I liked the hotel and the service, and the views from the hotel are impressive: overlooking the ocean and part of the city.

Overall, this was an ok experience, but I wouldn't go back nor would I recommend this to anyone traveling to Positano.. We felt mislead in that there was a beautiful balcony to enjoy (which we were looking forward to and specifically booked this place for), but the woman who ran the establishment was so strict and in our business that we felt extremely uncomfortable making any noise or enjoying the space. The owner leered out from us at her window, and rudely came in when we were checking out to make nasty faces and inspect everything. Just uncomfortable.

Location-wise, it was really inconvenient and out of the way from the main drag in positano, which was surprising for how overpriced this location was. We reached out to the owner to help coordinate a car, and the car that came was 15 minutes late, almost causing us to miss our scheduled tour, and the driver charged us 50 euro and talked nastily about us the entire ride (which was 14 minutes... for 50 euro...)

Zero sound proofing, could hear every thing going on in each room. Again, disappointing for such an insanely high price/for somewhere not even in Positano.

The breakfasts were good. I'd try to find a different place to stay though.

Loved staying in this cozy b&b

Angela and Nicola were so sweet and took such good care of us during our stay with them. Felt like we were staying with our grandparents. They really helped make our stay in Positano a memorable one. Even though the b&b isn’t in the “city center”, my husband and I still walked to a lot of places and back regularly, and felt safe to do so!

we absolutely loved this property. It was a lot more spacious than we anticipated and the views were gorgeous. We felt comfortable walking down to downtown Positano but didn't feel comfortable walking back at night due to the darkness, roads, and the cars. You have to really be on the lookout.

We absolutely LOVED our stay at La Sorgente del Sol. It is more like a charming bed and breakfast than a hotel. The staff is so friendly and everything is so clean! We enjoyed dips in the hot tub and breakfasts on the patio. Stunning views. We walking into town each day. Keep in mind there are no sidewalks so you are walking on narrow roads and sharing space with cars. But we had no trouble and enjoyed the beautiful scenic walks. Just lovely!

The property was very clean and general all was good. Until last night the AC Was broken and owner were advised about it, then we literally slept outside the room because the heat and when we went to the room the owner said he have to check out at 10 am, was completely ridiculous. There wasn't any other guess in the property. We left and wish the best, i don't recommend this property if you want to stay close to the city and watch the time you need to leave because they don't accept you to stay any longer than 10am.

A very nice place to stay. 20 min walk to downtown Positano. Bus stop is right downstairs. Rosa was very helpful. We stayed in a large apartment with a small balcony. Kitchen is fully equipped, great shower, parking garage available for 20 euros a day. Very happy with everything.

Our stay here was awesome. We stayed in the deluxe apartment with a big balcony and view of the Mediterranean It's is very well decorated in Italian style furnishings and clean. They provided some beverages upon our arrival and cleaning after 3 days. The 3rd bedroom is rather small but the others are good size. There is a washer for use up one flight of stairs. There is a a shared hot tub and sunning deck. It's about a 25 minute walk to the center of Positano and 300 steps up and down to the nearest beach (Arienzo). Be ready to do a lot of walking anywhere in Italy! The taxi ride from town is about 20 euros. Carla helped us with whatever we needed and was an easy text away. We would return!

This was one of the best place's I have ever stayed. The owners are such nice hardworking people. They were so easy to talk you and any questions we had, they answered and did more to help us. They truly deserve more than 5 Stars for this place!! The check in & out was nice and easy. Very close to Arienzo Beach and minutes walking distance from the City Center. The rooms were spotless, the view from our balcony was breathtaking. They had a nice big garage to park your car in. Looking forward to coming back next year and staying here again!

Great clean room, great shower! Amazing how the bus into Positano (€1.80 each way) town, right at the door of the hotel, on the side of the street. Also, bus to Sorrento etc. right outside the door of the hotel also, very useful! Lovely views of Positano from here also. Small hot tub that I couldn't get to work though

We were staying in the 3 bedroom apartment. Had a wonderful stay with the best view. One of the bedrooms were tiny. The Positano city centre is a kilometer away. Great stay with very friendly staff.

Nice apartment outside of Positano

The apartment we stayed in was well equipped and comfortable. The location is slightly out of Positano, it takes about 20 mins to walk to the main area of Positano (no comfortable sidewalks, you are walking on the road). There is a lovely beach close to the apartment, Rosa was wonderful and explained to us how to find the stairs that reach it.
Parking costs 20 Euro extra per day. While I did know this in advance, I do not think there should be a separate fee for parking, it should be part of the room hire cost.

This place was more like an airbnb than an actual hotel. NOTE: you have to make prior arrangements in order to check in, otherwise there is no reception, its just a small gate leading up the stairs, which can be hard to find. You have to call the \"host\" to open the doors for you and pick up your keys, luckily we had paid for a traveling cellphone plan so we can dial the local number listed by the entrance. The location is decent, about 15min walk to the center of Positano. The staff was friendly and they left us with water, refreshments and other snacks, which was very thoughtful. I would recommend this place to other travelers looking for a value stay.

We enjoyed our stay. Walkable distance from Arienzo beach and Positano town.
Images on page were slightly deceiving as it made it look like you have access to a common kitchen; living room area which was not the case. Would have liked a private balcony but the area around the hot tub/pool worked just fine for that.

Relaxing and beautiful stay

Facility was very clean and provided great and personal service. Rosa was very helpful in giving pointers about the surrounding area such as the best way to get around, where to eat etc. great place to stay if you want a quiet and relaxing vacation. The hotel is about a half a mile away from shops and food so make sure to plan accordingly.

Rosa was wonderful and handled every detail beautifully. The room was very comfortable, spacious and worth staying just outside the center of Positano. The walls are a bit thin so I'd imagine you might hear other guests pretty easy during the busier season. It was a very pleasant experience. I would stay here again. Thank you Rosa!

The hotel is an easy 20 mins walk to the center of Positano all the way down to the beach. Rosa was very helpful and the staff was very nice. Just FYI - the walls are pretty thin. You can hear your neighbors really well but it didn’t bother us too much.

The five of us stayed in the Deluxe apartment and it was a wonderful choice for our time in Positano. While this apartment is away from town, we enjoyed the walk and it was not too difficult for any of us (including my 81 year old father). Care needs to be taken on the road to town (no sidewalks), but it can be done safely if you are aware. As for the apartment, it is spacious and well appointed (many beautiful antiques). The view is outstanding. Rosa (the manager) was extremely helpful and a pleasure to work with. The whole stay went smoothly. The only negative aspect of our stay is that the apartment did smell of smoke. Opening the large doors to the terrace helped. If you are not adverse to that, the location is wonderful, the owner/staff are accommodating and the apartment is beautiful.

This property is ok but nothing spectacular. It is quite far away from central Positano (but right next to the bus station to/from Positano) and doesn’t serve breakfast (or have any breakfast venues nearby). Also pretty expensive given the above. Not bad overall, but probably better options around.

Booked 2 nights, stayed one. If you stay here, book rooms overlooking the ocean. The Yellow Room has no view at all, only window that opens for ventilation to a hallway. Also yellow Room has vent to next room and you can hear everything. The balcony shown in photo is shared balcony, just FYI. And it's 1 mile/30 min walk into Positano. Breakfast is not included. The bus was sometimes not available after waiting a half an hour, walking would've been faster. We got a hotel in Positano that had private balcony, gorgeous view, w/ full buffet breakfast, everything was close (for 40 Euros more), this is what I came to Positano for. For the price, I think the hosts should at least give you glass or ceramic glasses or cups, for goodness sake. I'm sorry it didn't work out.

Actually a beautiful villa

When booking I thought it was a hotel, it was a pleasant surprise to find it was a beautiful villa. The location was perfect for us... Away from main beach, with a 20 minute walk or short bus ride. There was also a very accommodating car service recommended by Rosa. Rosa managed our stay, speaks Englush and is super helpful. The owners of villa do not speak English, but make sure you have everything you need for a great vacation. Our only regret not staying longer! The view was spectacular, the hot tub was clean and inviting, and the overall experience of feeling a little like a local was great!

Beautiful views away from the crowds.

We had a fabulous stay at La Sorgente de Sol. We reserved the 3 bedroom apartment that had any amenity we could ask for including a huge veranda with amazing bay views. Our only complaint was the location was about 1 km outside town, and the walk there and back, while beautiful was dangerous due to the narrow roads with no sidewalks and fast traffic. Nicola, Angela and Rosa were very gracious hosts! Highly recommend!

Great place

The property was very spacious, clean and had the most incredible view over the sea. Rosa was exceptionally helpful and informative. The property would certainly suit a large family. The walk into Positano is not too long and indeed is part of the charm of the region. The Sorrento - Amalfi bus and the local bus stops at the door if you don't want to walk. The terrace is a delightful space to enjoy a wine whilst taking in the amazing views.

Breath taking views to Positano and the Sea

Lovely family owned business some 3 km from the centre of Positano. Superb views from the balcony and a bus stop outside the accommodation. Easy walk into Positano if you wish. Parking available at a cost, although we found a spot easily opposite the venue for free on the street......and safe. Some drink and food gifts on arrival, very pleasant stay from caring people.

Lovely place; amazing views

We stayed at La Sorgente del Sole 2 weeks ago and were very happy. The apartment is right on the coast and the views were spectacular. We saw not only the sunset but the colors reflected from the sunrise. Upon arriving we realized we were not centrally located but really liked being a bit separated from the town and had a lovely view of Positano. We were there in off season but from our apartment we stepped out onto a patio overlooking the sea which must be lovely in the spring and summer. The best part was Rosa who speaks excellent English and walked down to meet us on our way to the apartment when we weren't quite sure where to go. Since most restaurants were closed she called a local restaurant for us twice and arranged for them to pick us up and take us back. The restaurant, C'era una Volta was was a cozy little place with great food. She also gave us the name of a local driver who drove us to Sorrento so we could rent a car. She was always accessible by cell phone, and very helpful. Because it was off season we were able to park our car for free on the road just outside of the apartment, but there is also parking below the apartment for a fee.

Two families (4 adults + 4 kids) stayed here for 6 days in Deluxe apartment. The apartment was perfect for our needs and had a great view. The Arienzo beach was close by and we went there often. The bus stops right at the footsteps and we used it a couple of times to travel to/from Positano town. We did walk as well which was about 15 mins. While a car is not needed, we did rent and park in the the basement garage. Plenty of space for upto 3 cars. The owner Nicola was a great host and accommodated our requests. Rosa who speaks English and with who we communicated the most was very helpful as well. Overall, while not in the center, this was a great place to stay and enjoy Positano.

Loved this place & the location!

Loved our stay at this hotel! It is very convenient and close to the Arienza beach, with a beautiful view of the coastline, but also in the quieter area which was nice for relaxing. There is so much space in the rooms and the showers were very nice! Also, our check-in process was smooth and Rosa was so helpful and even called to confirm our boat tour for the next day and give us tips on where to visit during our stay. Lastly, it is a bus stop location, so whenever we took the bus from the main center of town we could easily come back to the hotel and get dropped off right in front of it! Would definitely recommend this place and stay again.

Fantastiskt boende och underbar familj som äger det. Vi hade bokat lägenhet och den hade alla bekvämligheter. Frukost ingick. Ligger dock lite utanför Positano, gångavstånd ca 20 min. Finns ett busstopp utanför huset, gäller bara att bussen stannar.

É possível ouvir os hóspedes do quarto ao lado como se estivessem dentro do seu quarto. Ou seja, você só consegue dormir se os seus vizinhos quiserem, o que não foi o caso. O quarto tem um sofá cama, mas para usá-lo, mesmo sem incluir nenhum hóspede extra, você tem que pagar 39 euros. Isso já tendo pago quase 500 euros por duas diárias. É um péssimo custo beneficio. Há outros hotéis melhores e com preços similares na redondezas. Recomendo procurar melhor antes de optar por esse.

La Sorgente Sole on lämminhenkinen hotelli. Työntekijä Rosa kertoo kaikesta tarkeästä hyvin ja häneltä luonnistuu myös esim. risteily varaukset Caprille. Omistaja pariskunta ovat myös mukavia, mutta he eivät puhu englantia kovin hyvin.Rosalle puhuu loistavasti englantia ja hänelle voi myös soittaa aina, jos tulee kysyttävää tai tarvitset apua jossain asiassa.Todella siisti hotelli ja iltaisin oli mukava köllötellä hierovassa poreammeessa terassilla. Hotelli on kävelymatkan päässä Positanon keskustasta. Hotellin edessä pysähtyvät myös edulliset bussit, jos vaikka otat koko Amalfin rannikon haltuun niin, kuin me.Aivan mahtava näköala merelle sekä Positanoon. Suosittelen lämpimästi La Sorgente Solea. Higly recommend! Thank you!

Nice and clean, but some rooms without windows..!

We got a specific room - \"the yellow room\" - which has no windows at all...! Simple decoration, but clean and a beautiful bathroom. Be aware that only the apartments have a view, which is not very clear to see on the description.
Very kind and helpful staff - the owner took us in his private car to the nearby Positano.

프론트가 없습니다 사전에 연락해서 체크인을 해야하는데 장기여행으로 폰을 정지 시킨 상태고 연락도 안와서 2시간 동안 애먹었어요 다른 방에 투숙중인 분들께 연락 부탁해서 겨우 체크인했고 포지타노 센터에서 도보로 15분 정도 걸리고 방에 개미 많았고 여름되면 벌레 많을 듯해요 더럽진 않았는데 약간의 꿉꿉함이 있었어요 그래도 저렴한 가격에 잘 쉬다 갑니다!

Tive uma surpresa ao saber que era apartamento, estas informações não estão claras no website hotéis.com, esperávamos serviço de quarto, arrumação e amenidades oferecidas por um hotel. Outro ponto foi a localização distante do centro da cidade, sendo necessário utilizar carro e pagar estacionamento. Entretanto a funcionária encarregado e os proprietários foram atenciosos.
