The hotel is located near the airport and is very noisy due to the frequent taking off and landing of the aircrafts. The room was much smaller as stated . Disgusted by the false impression of the room size and overall conditions of this hotel. Will definitely advise all my friends not to stay at this hotel. Very disappointed by Hotel.com for not doing the due diligent.

Terrible and dreadful experience staying in this hotel. Loud noise from planes taking off and landing was so unbearable and kept us awake for the whole night. Will definitely not stay in this hotel again and will advise friends and colleagues to avoid this hotel at all costs.

OK, Not Great.

Convenient location near the university. The rooms are ok for comfort, but comfort varies depending on which room you are in. The beds are very firm, more firm than most hotels in Thailand. The breakfast was ok but not great. One gets unique log in codes for each device which makes remembering the details challenging. All in all, an ok hotel but I would try another first before choosing to stay here again.

Hotel staff was friendly and nice to give information about the city. You can also rent a motorbike from the hotel and they'll arrange it in less than 30 minutes! Had the breakfast and I felt it's too heavy for breakfast with rice and noodles, but it's Asia. So it's fine. Haha

Hotel is renovated to be Ibis standard under Accor Group. At first, I think it is going to be a small room but surprisingly the room is quite roomy with standard room facilities, very comfortable and no complaints at all to me.

Great Stay!

We truly enjoyed our experience at the Ibis Styles Chiang Mai! When we pulled up, the staff - quite literally - raced out to greet us and help us with our bags! (maybe we just looked old and feeble!) The front desk staff was awesome!
The room was clean, comfortable and quiet! Our bedding was the most comfortable in all of Chiang Mai! Lovely shower and plenty of space in the room... we will be back!
It did get kind of crazy in the morning as 4 bus loads of tourists tried to exit the building at the same time, but that is the only less than great part of our experience!
Will we be back? Absolutely!

This is the third year to stay at Ibis Style .....

Is nice to stay at Ibis Style the third year staying .....this first and second year was great.....
but this year got so noisy at room 3506 because outside so many bird and car sound so loud ....cannot sleep at night.
so i would like to give an idea , that the window can be sound prove to avoid that problem .

Check in early if you don't want bunk bed room

I had requested King bed room, but the hotel gave me a bunk bed room. The hotel webpage doesn't mention there is bunk bed room, so very surprise when I walked in the room. Requested the hotel to change the room but unsuccessful due to fully booked.

Overall, I was happy with this hotel, for the price The pool was small but nice. It got sun until about 1.30 (then it went behind a building) and both days I was there, I was the only one using it. My room was comfortable with a good bed and plenty of storage space. The front desk staff were also helpful and friendly, and their English was pretty good.

The only negatives were the restaurants...staff weren't really around to order from, kept making mistakes and they closed between lunch and dinner. Overall though, I'd recommend this hotel.

Hotel was pretty good. Wifi was fast, helpful people at the front desk, overall room was ok. The breakfast was average. The food was not replenished regularly, and the bread was hard so went elsewhere on a couple of the mornings. Location is not ideal as its a little bit out of the city but was not too much of a problem.

Good Hotel-3kms away from Old City

Hotel is closed to Nimman Road which is lively at night. But it is 3km away from Old City. The Red Bus is easily available outside hotel which will charge you 20Bhat for trip anywhere in the city. Rooms are good. Breakfast menu was same everyday but was good quality in whatever they offer. Not sure why they don't serve fresh juice.

In general it good nice style,Just aircon problem it made room get cold slow. Aircon is new just not sure it about the position they r set up aircon that why the bed side too hot.

It’s Just Okay

This hotel closes to Nimmanhaemin Road where you can find a lot of excellent cafes, galleries and boutiques. Although the hotel doesn’t provide free shuttle service to the City centre and Nimmanhaemin Road, you can catch a red cab there around the corner. The room is a bit small and dark. I would recommend the hotel to install more lights in the rooms. The buffet breakfast was just okay and had not many choices, but I have no complaint on it as it is a budget hotel.

This place was pretty good. Breakfast was offered buffet style and had something for everyone's taste. The rooms are very clean and have everything you need. There are 2 near by night markets and plenty of places to eat. Staying here places you near the university the chiang Mai zoo and a not to far trip up to doi suthep. If you are doing a day trip to see elephants, this hotel is a much closer drive than if you stayed in the downtown area. And about a 20 to 25 minute walk to a mall. Unfortunately it is very easy to get down town chiang Mai but not at all easy to get back!! Of course tuk tuk will take you anywhere for a price but good luck with the red cab (unless they have a group of ppl so they make more money ) we spent a lot of time trying to get back to the hotel after a night down town. But overall a great place to stay after a long flight.

Average hotel in bad location

Unfortunately this hotel was not close to anything except 10-15 min from the airport . Site says its close to night market however it's about a 1 hour walk and about 15-20 taxi ride. Although the rooms were tidy, kept clean they are dark and windows very small so not much light. Breakfast was poor. Staff were not overly helpful at the hotel. Unfortunately it has potential but not in this area of Chiang Mai

Good place

Very clean, nice hotel. It is what we have come to trust in an Ibis Hotel. The staff was friendly, rooms are large and very clean. It's outside the old city of Chiang Mia, but a quick tuktuk ride got you into town. It's on the main road to Doi Suthep Temple and the zoo, which is nice. They are building a new wing to the hotel which they say will have a pool. That was one of the negatives, not having a pool.

위치는 님만해민으로 아주 좋음 (마야몰까지 걸어서 1키로 정도). 외관이 촌스럽긴하지만 내부 룸상태도 그럭저럭 굿. 식사는 쏘쏘 (국수가 없는게 다소 아쉽). 대로변에 인접해 있고 공항이 가까워서 방음은 안좋음 (호텔측도 알고 있는지 3M 귀마개 기본 비치).

치앙마이국제공항이 가까워서 비행기 소음이 조금 있긴한데 밤에는 비행기가 거의 없어선지 그럭저럭 괜찮았고 청결도는 평균, 주변은 바로 앞 재즈바 빼곤 갈만한데 없으며 조식은 동양식 서양식이 같이 나오고 과일이나 후식류 카피와 차 종류까지 꼭 필요한 건 다 나옴... 그랩으로 치앙마이를 누비실 거라면 이만한 가격에 최상의 선택인 듯...
