It was a big cold in the pool but it was a gloomy day so that didn’t help. The staff was all amazing. It was nice having the mall right beside the hotel. Rooms were very nice. We enjoyed watching the planes from the balcony.

April 2025. Highly recommend! There is a huge mall directly across the street. Loved it! My room was very spacious & clean. I had the view of the mountains. Beautiful! Lots of dining options. The breakfast was great & i even had dinner at the hotel restaurant and it was very good! Loved it! 15 min from the airport

Staffs are friendly, helpful and make me feel safe. It’s just opposite to MAYA shopping mall and one ninnman shopping area which are new and fashion. There are live band till night at Think park which is a little bit noisy if you sleep early. wardrobe is a bit small and not convenient for charging plug. Need to download their apps for check in and can connect them via apps to avoid language problem.

Horrible maintenance and room amenities.

The view is wonderful from the balcony. However, the common room's bathroom sewage was choked and my mother couldn't finish her shower as it started flooding, and had to rinse off in the other shower. As we got the staff to come and fix the chokage, my mum was brushing her teeth at the common bath basin in plain sight of the staff. Without warning, he started pumping the drain and the dirty water came up into the basin ane it was super gross. The dirty water started flowing everywhere with brown residue floating around.

Next morning, we notice the refrigerator was not chilling the food items we bought..turned out the fridge was faulty. The staff came up and checked on it, but couldn't repair it and told us they will send someone up to fix the next day. In the evening when we returned, the fridge was not fixed. I called again, the staff came up and checked again (at 10.00pm) and said they will replace a new one. I asked why at this hour? Weren't they supposed to settle it while we were out? I said its pointless cuz those foos and drinks (ie. Probiotic and milk and fruits) were not chilled, and we were going to check out the next morning. Terrible maintenance and service. We were offered an upgrade for our next stay, which god knows will be when.

The location is perfect. Right outside the hotel is Think Park, where you can enjoy restaurants and bars without worrying about the time. Across the main road is the MAYA Shopping Center, and just a short walk away is the trendy Nimmanhaemin area.
The downside is that the music from Think Park can be noisy until late at night. Since the room windows are not soundproof, the noise from outside is clearly audible and can disrupt sleep.
As for the hotel facilities, one inconvenience is the lack of power outlets. In the living room, the only outlet is hidden behind the TV, and there are none by the bedside. In the kitchen, the outlets are positioned quite high up, and aside from that, the only other outlet is in the bathroom. To use the electric kettle, you have to plug it in the bathroom.
Additionally, the water pressure in the shower is somewhat low, and the hot water isn’t very warm.
Other than these issues, the hotel was very comfortable overall.

We booked two rooms for four nights. The event outside the hotel was quite noisy until past midnight, especially on Saturday and Sunday. Please get a room with a mountain view if you are sensitive to noise.
Apart from that we enjoyed our stay with good breakfast, clean room and very friendly staffs from restaurant, house keeping and front desk especially Jom and Nat. Thanks for arranging a birthday surprise too. Will surely recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Chiang Mai.

It is a wonderful 4-star hotel and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, making me feel welcomed from the moment I arrived.
The hotel's location is perfect, with easy access to malls, cafes, and a variety of dining options.
The breakfast is delicious and features some local foods. However, the seating is somewhat limited, and it can get crowded during busy times.

Near to airport about 15-20mins journey. Breakfast in hotel is delicious. Theres Maya shopping mall right infront of the hotel across the road, convenient. Hotel is clean and mine was overlooking the mountain so its nice. Hotel room is clean and manage well. BUT, we ordered grab food, we have already showered but was famished, we order grabfood, and it was delivered at the hotel lobby. We ask the hotel staff for help to bring it up to the room as we are in our bathrobe already, but the female hotel staff on duty on the (27/7/23 night) was super reluctant to help and insisted we go down to the lobby to collect it ourself.

Pros:
1. across the street from Maya mall.
2. behind the hotel is an entire district of restaurants, coffee shops, and massage parlors. all within walking distance.
3. excellent buffet breakfast
4. not far from the university's night market.

Cons:
1. without a car, a bit far from the old city
2. situated at one of the busiest streets in chiang mai (meaning a lot of traffic)
3. if you are used to American size parking space, you will have a hard time parking in the hotel parking garage.

Will I book this place again in the future? most likely unless I want the old city experience right next to me.

Very well located. In the center of trendy district of Nimmanhaemin. Surrounded by funky bars, restaurants, fashion shops. The hotel itself is very clean, tidy and comfortable. The only downside here is the roads front the hotel seems always jammed and the airplanes from nearby airport contributes some noises. Overall it’s a nice place to stay for the convenience of pretty much everything of Chiangmai offers.

A short 4 kilometers from the airport, the Eastin Tan has a number of advantages including being right beside a large shopping mall, which includes numerous restaurants, cafes, and even An ice cream parlour. The hotel features accessible rooms, great decor, and spacious rooms and facilities. Stayed at this hotel for a leisure trip. Nicely located next to a mall and there’s a number of eateries and massage parlours within its vicinity.
I booked a suite and was allocated room 621. The external noise level was fine. Room was spacious - had cooking utensils, washing machine and a fridge. Separate bedroom from living room. Toilet has those heated seat with an automatic bidet. Separate bathtub and shower. Toiletries were standard and adequate. Hotel also has a basic gym, Swimming pool, and kids club.
Most pleased with Khun Koy (front office) who was friendly and professional where she helped me to allocate rooms for my friends on the same floor (where possible) and was able to get me an early check-in!

Nice buffet restaurant for breakfast, very unique decor and attentive service well mannered staff. Selection was average, and they only rotate between 2 choices, hence if you stay 3 nights and above, do be prepared to be bored.
Check in was not efficient and we were given empty promises by the Receptionist who did not deliver what they promised.
Property was getting old, although room size was big with nice balcony, but decor looks jaded and very plain.
They scrimped till the extent of not providing adequate toilet paper and toothbrush/razor only available upon request.
Only near to MAYA shopping mall but we had problems trying to locate money changers and 7-Elevens.
In essence, very disappointing and definitely NOT worth the $$$ spent. Please consider other properties instead.

We had a great time at Eastin Tan. The breakfast was scrumptious and the hotel staff were always very attentive. They even gave us a quiet room with awesome view since it was new year's eve and we were afraid that our kid won't be able to sleep at night with all the noise. The location of the hotel is great too, just next to Maya Shopping Mall and Think Park that has amazing food.

Eastin Tan was a great location for me to set up camp as I explored Chiang Mai. It is across the street from a big shopping center, which made it easy to shop, eat, and/or catch a cab. It's outside of the old city, but it's totally walk-able to get to the temples and city walls for sightseeing. The breakfast buffet was huge and delicious, which was a huge added value. Having a kitchenette in the room made it easy to keep cold drinks and snacks, which was nice.

My only complaint was that there seemed to be a fairly strong smell in the room....not sure if it was mildew or sewer pipes or what. After I got to the room and turned on the AC for some air circulation, it seemed to get a lot better.

Other than that, wonderful stay!

The hotel is a new hotel and so all the fixtures and fittings are functioning well. They have a nice gym with modern equipment. A pool with jacuzzi and a great breakfast spread. Across the road is maya shopping centre and it is a modern shopping centre. Next to the hotel is think park... that has a nice coffee joint and Italian food.

Hotel is modern, fashion and simple that is what i like. Very happy to have room upgrade from deluxe to one-bedroom suite.

The bathtube is just facing the spacious balcony with city view that made you feel like bathing at the metropolitan city. The king bed was comfortable but the connection of tv channel was not good. Breakfast buffet looked pretty and taste was standard but the restaurant decorated nicely as a theme of old train station.

the best hotel location overall in Nimman

I booked this hotel for this trip simply because of its location. The hotel is nice, staff is friendly and helpful. i stayed in a two bedrooms suites, it is spacious, however I cannot understand why there is a room with bathroom next to the kitchen & dinning table, but separated by transparent material, i.e. glass. It is wired. Anyway, nice view (my room is not facing the Think Park.) The water pressure was just too low for shower, the experience is terrible, I hope the hotel can manage to improve it. I have moved to another hotel in the same region after leaving Eastin but no such problem.
The restaurant is full of flies, a bit disgusting, Anyway, the location of the hotel wins.
