Was a one day stay since I was going to the airport. It was a small room but satisfied the need. The stove did not work but the microwave and fridge were good and there was a kettle provided. Although far from the airport, the price was good. And being in Chinatown, there are lots of dining options. I would return if ever again in Bangkok.

I had lived 5 days at this property. I like property is very close by market, near transportation. But property did not supply enough hand soap, shower soap, kitchen soap, toilet paper, unusable kitchenware such as pan or bowl. Also, very old towels and dirty pillow sheet. I saw only a staff running for housekeeping that not enough employees.

The location of this hotel is great. Short walking distance to some really great markets in China Town. The alley to the hotel seems a little dicey at first, but turned out to be a good stay. Nothing fancy, but very clean and all a person needs.

Staff made the experience very memorable.
The bed was very firm. Kettle and fridge provided was helpful, A/C perfect in the Thai weather. There was some mould in the shower and ants in the bathroom but the location was convenient for food and Metro services.
Would stay here again if I was on a budget.

This is a really inexpensive property right in the heart of Chinatown. Very close to the night market. The management is very responsive to my questions before I went. I had to reschedule the stay to the next day because my flight was rescheduled as well and Expedia accommodated my request very well. This property is old and about an hr taxi ride from the airport. Traffic is bad during rush hour so plan accordingly. That is not bad at all. The only concern I had is the receptionist spoke very little English. Only to get me to my room. The other concern I had was a safety concern because the receptionist gave my room number to the taxi driver that dropped me off. I knew this because i arranged to be picked up the next morning at 3 am and the taxi driver who picked me up showed me a text with my room number. Not sure if this is the standard way of identifying a taxi passenger but to me, it is a safety concern.

I had gone for a university conference. Very Centrally Located. Decent sized room with a kitchenette as well. Timing was unfortunate that I couldn't walk around due to the Covid-19 virus but it's just a few steps away from main chinatown. Staff were quite nice and understanding in explaining the situation.

Good location if you want to shop at Sampeng. But the TV wasn't working throughout my 4 days stay and I had to bring my own amenities like toothbrush and paste.
During departure, had a few luggage to handle but staff wasm't willing to help book a taxi to come into the hotel area like they did the last time I stayed there. I have to lug them to the main road to get a cab which I had to walk a distance.

2nd time staying in Check-Inn Chinatown. Excellent location to stay if you want to shop in Chinatown.
The front desk lady staff is friendly and very helpful. However, the room is no cleaned properly..Found 2 dead cockroaches besides the bed.
It will be also nice to provide basic bathroom amenities like toothbrushes, toothpaste and disposable shavers.

Stayed here for 2nights. Drive up to hotel is a little off putting, off the main road down a side street. Location was good - 5min walk to China town and a short taxi ride to the subway. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Room was basic and a little out dated but clean with hot water and working AC. Breakfast was served on the rooftop terrace, choices were made the night before and was made to order. Paid to have our laundry done at the hotel and were pleased to find it delivered to our room on the same day. Overall a pleasant stay only thing lacking was a safe in the room.

Decent hotel in a great location

For this competitive price, you get a surprisingly clean and tidy room in a great location. You cannot get fresh air from the window, but the air condition works great. It is located in the heart of Bangkok's Chinatown, which mean plenty of delicious street food ready for you just around the corner. It is in a dark alley, so it can be a bit difficult to find (ask taxi drivers to take you to grand china hotel, it is just outside of the alleyway). This hotel is surely not a luxurious hotel in any form, but for this very low price, the quality is great!

Basic room not for family.

I've stayed in some real hole in the walls in Thailand. This is a very basic room with a small kitchenette. The beds were small and hard. The bathroom small. The hotel is located off the end of an alley. This would be an acceptable hotel if you were traveling solo. For a family it did not work. We stayed one night and moved to another hotel.

Quiet hotel located in Chinatown

Big comfy bed, clean and quiet. Complimentary bottles of water, instant coffee and tea. Breakfast description: one fried egg, one bacon, one ham, two toasts with butter and jam, coffee and half glass of juice.
It's not easy to find the hotel since it's situated in an alley. Check the map on their website and take a screenshot with your phone to show it to the taxi driver or the tuk tuk driver. The hotel is 15 min walk from metro station Hua Lamphong. When you exit the metro (I think it was no 2 exit) just walk straight forward. If you're not sure, ask for the way. Thai people are usually very friendly and willing to help. If a Thai stranger tries to help you without you asking for help he (mostly a man) have a purpose.

Check in was fast. Service good. Room clean. Outdated bath towels. No slippers provided. Big and comfy bed. Price for the room was 1340 bth which is pretty nice for what you get for. Lots of noisy bars down the street so it's hard sleep early (before 3 am). Would I stay here again? For the hotel itself yes. For the area? No way. Would I recommend anyone to go to this hotel? Yes. Would I recommend anyone to visit Pattaya? Yes if you like hookers and mind alike ppl, a lot of bars and alcohol then this is the right place for you. Certainly not suitable for children or couples.

We booked this accommodation as we had checked out of our previous accommodation at 12 pm and were not flying until 2 am the following morning and wanted somewhere to leave our bags and have a shower before heading to the airport. We booked online an hour before we checked in and the booking and check in process all went smoothly. We had booked a double room and ended up with a twin, but given the short notice and the fact we were not planning to sleep there, this was fine. Although we did not spend the night here, we would have been happy to given the price we paid. The location was very good and the room had good kitchen facilities. The shower was excellent and the beds very comfortable for the one hour nap we had!

Hotel itself was quite nice however there were so many ants on the bed (I first thought it was a bed bug but it was the ants) and blankets were partly stained. The worst thing was its location - hard to find, no MRT or BTS (This is important because the traffic jam in Bangkok is really horrible!), smelly and dark outside.

Like many others have commented about the location, hard to find and better to have map printed out for Taxi drivers. Get off on the main road as the alley shown to get in to the hotel is only good for walking, cars do not fit.
Rooms are semi clean, staff can be helpful only if you ask for assistance, sort of speak. The alley going to China town main street is terrible, avoid it by going around the Buddhist temple.
We stayed there since we wanted to save travel time. We arrived late , had late night snack , shark fin soup etc., then back to hotel and the next morning had breakfast and lunch , some shopping in the Chinatown area.
Traffic around Chinatown is terrible so staying in the area without traveling back and forth saves a lot of time.

My type of hotel

It was good for people that are adventurer. If you are in a different country, different culture, and different environment.
It is better to mingle, mix up, experience their way of life rather than seperating your self as a tourist. My flight to mainland US was cancelled. I had to stay one night over. I went back to CICHINATOWN coz I felt really comfy. If I would come back. Definitely will return to this hotel.

Center of Chinese district. Very quite area inside living block. Easy access to 3 different main streets by small paths. Staff not speak English but there is no problem to agree on something since manager can speak a bit. Location is not easy to find at the beginning even if you have address handy. There is no problem to walk to hotel as soon as you are familiar with area and location.

Quiet alley in the middle of China Town crazyness

I cam from DMK with the train, it was close to the train station. It is close to the river (5min walking to Pier Ratchawong) to take the boat into the city for almost nothing. The food is really good around there in Chinatown: just look for places with heaps of locals. The tour from the hotel to the Floating Market was alright, but worth for money. It was great to be away from the city for a day. Free wifi is not super fast but alright for just looking up some info for the next day. Breakfast and wake up call is perfectly on time, every morning. My room was clean every night when I came back. The staff is very helpful, not always very knowledgable or able to speak English, but I got there in the end always. Don't forget to take a card from the reception with you with the location on there to make sure you find you way back.

We were going to stay for one night on the way to Nonghai,but ended staying there for three nights.Nice,small hotel at the end of alleyway.Small rooms and would improve from more cleaning,but price justifies it and you don't get breakfast in bed in other hotels.Free internet access.Ask for room with balcony.It is located in the middle of Chinatown,but you don't hear any noise.Overall would recommend it for short stay.

A hidden gem in the heart of bustling Chinatown.

We are so disappointed that we didn't find the Check Inn Chinatown sooner! What a gem, right in the middle of our favourite Bangkok neighbourhood, Chinatown (Yaowarat). Super quiet, being down a small narrow Soi, so much that when you get back to your room you wouldn't know that mere steps away is a bustling neighbourhood at all times of the day and night. The room was clean, beds comfortable, loved having the mini kitchenette (even if we didn't use it), shower was nice, and all the facilities we need (in room safe, mini-fridge, private bathroom, TV with lots of channels). The roof top bar was nice for a quiet drink in the evening. Loved the set breakfasts in the morning - a few choices, all very tasty!!! We would definitely stay again!!!

It is located to in Downtown area of Bangkok near the Grand China Princess Hotel.It is a bit far from the Southern Bus

Terminal (SaiTai), it took us good 45mins in the 7am morning Traffic to reach the CIC. It is a good hotel, with all the

things needed in a room. They provide a small kitchen also which is sufficient for 2 people. You have the Indian Market of

Bangkok, where you can find wholesale shops selling TV's & also many Indian restaurants. Also one of the boat pier's is at

a walking distance from where you can a boat to go to Grand Palace or Wat Po or Wat Arun.
The Hotel staff is ok-ok...not very courteous & helpful. Also for my friend, the door to bathroom in their room was broken.
And in my room I noticed there was a big cockroach, hopefully you will get better rooms. Also it is around 45mins drive

away from the Bangkok Airport.
So all & all I would say it is good Hotel if you want to stay near to the Grand Palace area & also price wise it was OK.

Chinatown better as Side Trip

Not easy to find this hotel. Even tuk tuk drivers don't know. Yes, it is at the end of a crowded laneway from one side and no vehicle excess from Yaowarat side. Quiet and clean enough to shower and sleep. No hot water. Front desk staff have problems communicating in basic English. Hard mattress, as if sleeping on floor boards with thin foam layer. Marks on walls do not get cleaned in the room. Tried booking a tour from their list at front desk. Told can not do off the list. So why have the list at Front Desk? Price increased from 1200baht to 3100baht for the River Kwai tour. I declined. No good staying in Chinatown if you are a single guy. No bars or entertainment. Crowded with food stalls. Big problem if you don't understand Thai lingo. 20 minute, 150baht tuk tuk ride to Khao San Rd. 20 min 80 baht to Hua Lamphong train. Drivers will try to rip you off with no change for fare. Can not see much from tuk tuks as canopy down to eye level. Check Inn is ok if you HAVE to stay in Chinatown for some reason. I suggest staying closer to entertainment areas and do Chinatown as afternoon /evening sightseeing trip.

Mycket centralt. Hade allt vi behövde för ett par övernattningar i bangkok. Plus poäng för att receptionen var bemannad 24/7. De var jättevänliga och gick smidigt att checka in. Om man ska anmärka något så är det att room servicen är eftermiddag efter 16.00. Så en dag när vi kom tillbaka till hotellet för att duscha och byta om så var städerskan i rummet . Men det var en liten detalj eftersom vi var ute hela dagarna för det mesta :)

Hôtel calme et retiré dans une petite rue, l’accueil est aimable et avenant en anglais.
La chambre n’étant pas prête avant 14h, on aisément laisser les bagages à la réception.
La déception vient de la chambre réservée, elle se nomme « deluxe » mais n’a pas de fenêtre! Aucun vue extérieure! Etant au rez de chaussée il y a des odeurs de pollution de par la ventilation nécessaire non stop. Néanmoins il y a un petit coin cuisine équipée mais de propreté moyenne.

หัองสะอาด เสียแต่คืนแรก ได้ห้องชั้นบนสุด ซึ่งขอไปว่าขอห้องที่เงียบหน่อย พอดึกๆปรากฏว่ามีเสียงคนเดินอยู่บนหัวตลอด เพราะข้างบนเป็นดาดฟ้า ลค.คนจีนขึ้นไปสูบบุหรี่ พอตีหนึ่ง แอร์ในห้องน้ำรั่ว ไหลนองจนต้องเอาผ้าเช็ดเท้ามารอง พอตีสี่ตีห้า แม่บ้านมาทำความสะอาด จัดการบนดาดฟ้า เสียงดังอีก สรุปคืนแรกไม่ได้นอนทั้งคืน เลยขอย้ายห้อง เพราะจองไปสามคืน สองคืนสุดท้ายได้ย้ายมาห้องชั้นสาม ดีขึ้นหน่อย อยากให้ปรับปรุงการใส่ใจ ดูแล ลค.และการพูดจากับ ลค ด้วย โดยเฉพาะ พนง ผู้หญิง ไม่มี service mind จริงๆ เคยอ่านรีวิวเจอ ไม่คิดว่าจะเจอกับตัวเอง

中華街が近くて便利が良い。ただし、タクシーがホテルの前まで道が狭くて着かない。また、分りにくい。

エクスペディアでコンチネンタルブレックファースト付きで予約支払いしていたのに、ホテルでは、朝食はしていないとの事。すみませんで終わりました。また、室内のテレビは、画像が移りません。
部屋のクリーンメークアップを頼んでいましたが、バスタオル等の補給無し、電話連絡して持って来てもらった。
ホテル写真との現実にギャップがありすぎる。

Very nice, affordable hotel in the middle of Chinatown, but on a quiet street. Would stay again!

Chinatown is chinatown

Downtown dicht bij rivier en bloemenmarkt maar dus ook cramped en kamer zonder ramen, verder oke. Leuk dakterras voor ontbijt. We waren onze koffers kwijtgeraakt met vliegen en sommige personeel waren daarin behulpzaam anderen absoluut niet.

Dogodnie położony czysty hotel

Chinatown jest bardzo specyficzną i głośną ulicą w Bangkoku. Na chodnikach jest mało miejsca, bo wszędzie stoją Chińczyki ze straganami z jedzeniem, piciem i innymi drobiazgami. Bardzo intensywny zapach jedzenia i przypraw unosi się nad uliczkami Chinatown. Sam hotel Check Inn jest położony wprost idealnie, ponieważ stosunkowo blisko jest do zwiedzania Świątyń, Wielkiego Pałacu czy Wielkiej Huśtawki. W pobliżu Check Inn jest też port, więc statkami również można się udać w różne okolice Bangkoku. Blisko hotelu znajduję się większy supermarket TESCO oraz KFC czy Mc Donald, a także na każdym rogu jest sklep 7 eleven gdzie można zrobić zakupy.
