The staff were so attentive, the room was so clean. Just moved from another hotel and it was so refreshing. They have a coffee bar in the lobby and a buffet breakfast with healthy options. When you check out they immediately go to your room and make sure you remembered to bring everything. The bathrooms were great and there was hot water! Highly recommend if staying in Bangkok.

The property itself is a great value for the price - comfortable and clean.

This is also a great location - a short walk from
Phadung Dao and Yaowarat roads. This part of town does not wake up very early - most shops / stalls are open for lunch / dinner, but the hotel itself has a decent breakfast buffet - western and Thai options included - and a quality a la carte coffee bar.

An extremely convenient hotel for exploring the Chinatown area and there’s a night market a block away. It’s central enough for easy Grab rides to other destinations.
Rooms are good. We got a balcony room - but it was above a busy, noisy street. Our adult kids were in a room that overlooked a courtyard which was much quieter. The beds are very comfortable. Staff are wonderful.

Our stay at the W22 was great! The location in Chinatown was perfect and walkable, even with the hot temperature outside. The rooms were very clean and had air conditioning. Breakfast was not that expensive for a buffet style and different cuisines. The laundry machines were a nice amenity and cost 60 baht per machine (1.80 usd). My only complaint would be the shower. It had two curtains, but water would get everywhere on the floor. The water pressure was amazing, but the shower size was a bit small.

This is a neat boutique hotel with character specializing in a beautiful motorcycle collection and a funny Elvis doll collection. It is a very good walkable location to Chinatown, but the immediate area around the hotel my be sketchy for some people use to cleaner and newer areas. The receptionist were very helpful and friendly. The room was small but adequate for a short term stay.

Perfectly positioned hotel one block from Chinatown , far enough away from the hustle and bustle to be quiet at night. Great access to transport also both Grab taxis and rail not far away.
Service was excellent my room was large and serviced every day.
The coffee downstairs was very good but overpriced - it’s about twice the cost of everywhere else.
Food is plentiful and everywhere. Street vendors and restaurants at your doorstep.
Definitely have the mango smoothies the dough balls ( like donuts) and the twice boiled soup - or as I like to call it - pig-in-a-bowl. Be brave tuck - in it’s super tasty.

The property is well maintained. The rooms were spacious and clean. The hotel had security, who were always friendly, helped with our luggage and with giving us directions. It was well appreciated. The area is great for walking for food, attractions, massages, shopping etc. There was always plenty to do in the area. The hotel had a common floor for coffee, cold water, games and laundry - we ran into an issue with the laundry machine and hoped the front desk would help, but they did not. Other than that, everything was great. I would recommend this hotel and stay here again!

I had a great stay before starting a tour departing from the hotel. The hotel itself is great value, the staff are lovely and it has good facilities but the area around it isn’t the best. It’s quite far from the main areas and I wouldn’t feel safe alone at night, however, there are nice restaurants, bars, cafes temples etc. within a 10-15 walk.

Second time staying in this place, basically just because it's so cheap and close to the train.

The area is pretty bad with not much to eat, dirty streets and a lot of hookers. But the hotel itself has been really well refurbished and is quite clean. There are some nice cafes but they're a bit expensive by Bangkok standards.

The rooms are nice but the way they've... designed? The showers means that the room gets flooded every time you shower.

The staff also gave us only one small roll of toilet paper for a 3 night stay and when we called in the morning to get more it took them until 4pm to replace it.

The room that I stayed in was noisy as it was in front of the sitting area where the coffee and tea facilities are. Other hotel guests were not considerate n were talking very loud.

Hotel is situated in a nosiy road and during the night it can be very nosiy. My family who is staying in the room facing the road couldn't sleep well.

The hotel appears to be newly refurbished/renovated and everything looks pretty new. Overall it's quite clean and comfortable, and the lounge is relaxing and spacious. We didn't have much noise from the other guests or outside the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful to us.

Like some other places in South East Asia, the drains in the bathroom quickly started to reek of sewerage. I don't think the housekeeping staff clean them, or if there's anything they could do to stop the terrible stench. It stinks up the whole room. I also found the raised edge of the shower to be quite dangerous as a tripping hazard, as well as the corner tiles sticking out unevenly and therefore they're pretty sharp.

The area is pretty close to the train station and Chinatown. There aren't many other restaurants in the area, but there are some small cafes. It's not a very clean area and there are a lot of hookers just on the street of the hotel for some reason, which wasn't a huge issue for us but might be if you're travelling with kids.

I rarely leave a review of a hotel, but this place is exceptional! I would heartily recommend staying for anyone in Bangkok especially with any interest in Chinatown. Great facilities, excellent service. Very clean. However, Chinatown can be quite dirty and colorful if you're uneasy about that sort of thing. However it's quite different from the rest of Bangkok and that makes it interesting!

I was over-charged for a lamp and the service was terrible at the front desk. They charge to visit the rooftop terrace. The bathroom constantly flooded and despite my mentioning it to the front desk (along with the ac not working properly) I travel to Bangkok frequently for work and gave this hotel an opportunity based on reviews but take it from me, I would recommend going elsewhere in chinatown, there are plenty of alternatives in the same neighbourhood, in the same price range that won't screw you over when you check out.

Don't stay here, the staff are all kids and it was a scam, new place that charges uncalled for extras. You can't go up onto the rooftop terrace without buying a drink. There are plenty of other places to stay that are of a similar price and better quality service than this place in the same area.

Not great, the hotel I usually stay in when I come to Bangkok was sold out so I thought I would try W22. I come to Bangkok frequently for work and so have a pretty good idea of what is reasonable to expect. This hotel is serviced by young kids who are polite but incapable of fixing a problem. The bathroom flooded, they were told (why and how to fix it) and yet nothing was done. The hotel also charged me 5000 Baht for a lamp that was knocked over (thats nearly 200 USD for a lamp that cost 40 online, it took 10 minutes for me to find both a retailer and wholesaler). Unlike most hotels with a rooftop, This hotel charge a minimum one drink cover to visit theirs. So in short, its a bit of a scam considering what you can get for the same price range elsewhere. There are plenty of decent 3 star hotels within walking distance that provide better alternatives in the same price range without the hassle of this place.

Location is in china town so quite noisy and somewhat rough, so you will need to be careful when outside. Hotel has a distinct smell of sewage throughout which is quite disgusting. We took a couple of teas with us to the sky bar on the roof to do some work on our laptops but were told by staff there that we couldn’t bring our own drinks, even though we were guests at the hotel which was not very customer friendly or nice at all. Poor experience overall.

An upmarket space for a budget price. One of the nicest zi have stayed at for the last five weeks. Close to eat8ng places, convenience stores and the metro transit system.
Didn’t think much of the breakfast - no ceresl, fruit was
just a green melon cut into a few pieces, no wholemeal toast option and greasy fried eggs. You’re better off looking for breakfast in. Cafe nearby.
