The morning breakfast was also cost effective vs walking to Breakfast Story locations which serves authentic North American breakfast items.

Caught in the Beauty-and-Beast Conundrum

I had the opportunity to stay at the Twin Towers Hotel recently, and I must say that my experience was both memorable and disconcerting. Upon arrival, I was immediately enchanted by the striking architecture and the beautifully designed lobby. The grandeur and attention to detail in these public areas were undoubtedly commendable, hinting at a luxurious experience ahead.

However, as I entered the room, the beauty-and-beast conundrum unfolded before me. The room, in stark contrast to the exquisite lobby and elegant structure, seemed disappointing. It became clear that the rooms had not seen the same love and investment in their design and upkeep.

Old, worn-out furniture filled the room, making it feel dated and uninviting. The space lacked the sophistication and contemporary touch that I had expected based on the hotel's exterior and the lobby. But what turned out to be the biggest letdown was the bed. The mattress was very uncomfortable, leading to a restless night's sleep, which is highly undesirable for any traveler.

While the beautiful architecture and impressive lobby of Twin Towers Hotel showcase the potential for a luxurious stay, the lackluster room furnishings and uncomfortable bed sully the overall experience. I hope the hotel management will take this feedback to heart and work on revamping the rooms, aligning them with the sophistication and comfort that the rest of the hotel has to offer.

Its just ok. You get what you pay for. The exterior of the hotel is nice with a grand entrance but the rooms... Was supposed to stay in Bangkok for 8 days, but cut our time short and went to Pattaya instead. The room is very outdated. Not many plug outlets; room is so dark and not very clean; bathtub is old and faucets are rusty. The staff seemed cordial and nice but not very welcoming.

Beautiful and clean hotel ! Rooms were spacious and offered great views of swimming pool and surroundings! Bedroom was sound proof sufficient and beds slept great ! The room is old, and so is the bathtub which had yellow stains on it making it look dirtier. Apart from the black hair (I'm blonde) found in the bathroom, the room was clean. Nicely equipped gym. We had 2 connecting rooms.
Location is ok, first appearance / impression is nice and rooms were spacious.
But from 5 nights stay:
- Shower handle fell off on first night / use
- Some sockets not working
- Electricity suddenly cut in one room when using hairdryer
- Mattress, chair and couch seats were sunken
- No standard amenities like toothbrush or slippers provided
- Toilets look old and worn, a contrast to rest of the room
- Pool restaurant was closed early (8pm) though the doors were open and they should officially close at 9pm. We were very disappointed as the menu looked appealing.
- Gym and ping pong: lack of signage about their policy that you could use these facilities once a day only. Staff spent a few minutes to check on their policy and communication was poor. This left my kids very disappointed that they could not play ping pong - I brought them from the hotel room to play after gym staff told me a few minutes before that it would be ok.
- Be aware of miscommunications with the tour service at the front of the building. Their car service was great. But they booked tickets for us though we did confirm that we wanted them. They were trying to be helpful and it was probably the (apparent) informal way of doing things in Thailand.

Very hard to find fault with the hotel and the room. Fast and efficient check in and check out. Stayed on the 16th floor. Excellent room modern, very clean, quiet and very spacious. Did not use and facilities as only on a short stay. However all the equipment looked clean and in working order. Again did not use the restaurant however did think a little on the expensive side especially if with a family. However there are many places to get food outside the hotel. Fairley well situated as only ten minute walk to the Siam centre and BTS. There are also plenty of tux tuk and taxis if unable to walk the distance.

The staff was very nice and helpful but other than that I didn't like anything else about it. When you walk into the front lobby it looks like a very nice place but let me say you get what you pay for. The hallway leading to our room smelt like old dirt laundry and like something died. The room is extremely run down and old looking. Not to mention the dirtiest room I’ve ever stayed in. It’s as if the place hasn’t gotten a deep cleaning in years and the cleaning ladies only come in to make the bed and give you towels. There was disgusting marks and filth all of the walls and blood on the ceiling in the shower... and do not look under the bed. The bed and pillows were so hard. I would never stay here ever again and would not recommend anyone else stay here unless your okay with staying in filth. The location was okay there are way better places.

Where to begin...
I had my doubts on the hotel upon turning down the street it’s on.. Super run down and quite dodgy to say the least.
After seeing the lobby, my doubts started turning around. It was large and quite fancy I thought, there’s even someone that’s hired to stand at the door and open it for you as you exit and enter the hotel. I really had high hopes for the room after seeing it, but sadly I was nothing less of disappointed.
Before I even got to see my room, I had to pay a $100 deposit (in my home currency, being Australia) which was shocking as this is not stated anywhere online! From there onwards it went downhill.
After finally getting the key to my room and exiting the elevator on my designated floor, the first thing I could smell was smoke from cigarettes. Let me tell you that it wasn’t faint either, it was as if they were smoking right outside the elevator (which they shouldn’t have been as it is a non smoking hotel).
After entering my hotel room and spending no more than 30 minutes in it, I had a list of things that were wrong.
There is NO safe in the room to put your passports and valuables in, the bath water is DIRTY, the sheets and EVERY piece of furniture in the room was stained and smelled. The air conditioning is pre set, the bathroom had spider webs and hair from the previous people on the shower wall! The ONLY power outlet was about to fall out of the wall and was on the complete opposite side of the room to the bed so you couldn’t charge your p

Okay service was good at check in , but oh my god the room I got was yikes there was hairs around the dress desk area , toilet looks hella old , the sink was but it’s sucks , the shower are hella all and there was cockroach in the room yike yike yike ... but they did upgrade my to an
Executive room it was a little cleaner ... but we still found cockroach in the room. The housekeeping was good - she was friendly and very clean ... the area are good just next to 7/11 and some convenient store . Pool was nice but the ooool side bar the hour was supposed to start at 10-10:30 am no one was her and when staffs pass by when I ask they don’t seem to know anything about the hours . Restaurant : I heard the dim sum buffet was good , so on our last day we decide to go try it .. so when I went downstairs a lady who stand there to supposed to greet guests told me dim sum open at 11 am than I say okay than any breakfast than she said yeah American breakfast I say ok than she said it’s open at 10 am I say okay it’s 9:30 ish it’s there anything open she said no no breakfast right now @@ but there was people inside eating and she wouldn’t let us go in to eat I was super hungry I was pissed , so I said ok I’ll wait , I return at 10 am oh my god she that lady standing there ignore me and went behind that counter talking to others staff ignoring me ... that was 10:00 ish am .. what kind of services is that @@ well I return the answer is NO NO NO

We checked in late at 2 AM and our AC didn't work that well, it was just blowing semi-cold air. Had a hot sleep that night. I told reception about it the next morning and the person said they would either fix the AC or give us another room and also told us to see reception after we get back from our sightseeing. When we got back we were told that the AC was fixed and we had a great sleep that night. There was even a phone call from reception to make sure that the AC was working properly. Great service and great experience from our hotel stay.

The hotel workers were amazing very respectful and accommodating special mention to the security person who assisted us in the hospital when my friend had a medical issue. This guy unfortunately I missed his name stayed with us in the hospital until we checked out. He surely needs to be congratulated. Service above and beyond.

My housekeeper chai was amazing. The hotel personnnel are truly the best assets of the hotel.
Will surely come back next year in Bangkok and will stay at twin towers again. Will recommend it to my Canadian friends

First of all, let’s be clear that this isn’t 5* but you wouldn’t really expect that at the price. I found the rooms clean and comfortable. But the electrics were odd, the safe was broken the hotel failed to fix it, and breakfast was pretty horrible to be honest. But for the price it’s was decent and it’s proximity to the train station was important for me. The suites are massive and are recommended.

2 visits, first in December 2018 was average. Hotel looked a bit run down. Room was okay but not great. Gym area closed. Second visit in March was much better. A room in the executive tower was much better. Gym was open but staff at the gym followed you everywhere, very annoying. They charge extra for the sauna! They also get you out of the sauna if they suspect you haven't paid extra! As a guest of the hotel this seemed ridiculous. Left a sour taste.

The accommodation is good value for money. Bit dated and tired but clean and comfortable. The food is somewhat high priced for what you get, it's like they are trying to be The sky bar quality but failing badly. The 4, yes four, restaurants offer different food styles (allegedly) but seem to cross over somewhat. They rarely have more than a handful of people in, giving them a cold ambience. Beers and wines are way to expensive! Why does a hotel only stock small 330ml bottles of beer and sell really bad wine.
Bottom line, the rooms are ok for the price. Go elsewhere to eat and drink you'll get much better and save money.

Don’t be fooled by photos—this place is awful!

Worst place I’ve ever stayed, it certainly tainted our last day in Bangkok. Tried to book the airport pickup service 3 times, first over email a week in advance then again two days before but got no reply. Called instead which cost a bomb only to be fobbed off and told to email and surprise surprise got no reply again so we ended up paying for an expensive taxi.
Get to room and go to turn on the lamp. It falls apart in my hands! Someone comes up to confirm it’s broken then disappears again. Then have two maintenance chumps fiddling for half an hour to fix it, after having waited until 11pm for them to come. Would have rather left it to be honest but didn’t want to be charged for damages. Try to connect to WiFi and it says it costs 300b a day. Have to take all our paperwork to front desk to prove it should be included. Attempt to go for breakfast and get the same story as WiFi. Not on the list apparently so it will cost 377b each. Again trudge upstairs to get the paperwork to no avail and denied breakfast I fully paid for. All staff we encountered, save for the man who took our bags up for us, are stone faced unfriendly, rude and unhelpful. The bed was so bad I would have rather slept outside. Pillow is basically a wafer so I resorted to putting clothes under the pillow so I could sleep. The whole room smells of smoke, with stained carpets and blanket..honestly, this place is a dump. They’ve spent money to revamp the lobby and stopped there clearly. Avoid at all costs.

There are few downside which are below
1. After they clean, they did not top up the toiletries (like shower gel etc.)
2. Nothing is complimentary (No tea or coffee inside the room, No WiFi - Please note that expedia says there is free wifi but there is no free WiFi)
3. The hotel location is not great - Far from BTS or any major shopping malls (but they have great services for Taxi and the gaurds are extremely helpful in fetching you a taxi)

The room smelled like humidity mixed with smoke, the carpet and furnisher was so old and not clean i had blood stains on the bed sheets the bed was so uncomfortable, i booked 11 nights gave me limited internet for 10 nights and keeps on cutting, breakfast is very very bad, bathroom had mold in it, the ventilation system is blocked or it doesnt work,
Bad service, i called room service to bring me a knife and a fork they told me to come and get it myself once i did they said i have to paybfor it its not free!!!! I was in a shock i thought they were joking but they werent, people at the door keep shouting for tours and taxis and they work for the hotel, very unprofessional untidy and unclean
I do not recommend anyone to stay there

The staff at this hotel is absolutely rude, ignorant & will not go out of the way to deliver good customer service. There was a minor error with my booking by having an extra person, yet the staff couldn’t even let me borrow their phone to call Expedia. The guy at the counter kept speaking fast & laughing, I honestly felt like he needed his head checked for mental issues. The manager was helpful, the facilities are decent but location is pretty far away. I strongly recommend that for the price they offer you can find a much better hotel and within a better location, this is coming from someone who has been all around Asia.

Front desk is always helpful with instructions. But operating staff were less eager. We had requested for extra pillows and blankets, it took them 2 seperate occassions to get stuff to us.
Bell boy was busy on the phone when i was collecting my luggages on my last day. I literally had to pull 3 of my luggages down from the luggage trolley before another bell boy from far end came over to help.

This is a big total with great massage service and a good Thai restaurant. But it is not too close to the train and shopping malls. The room is spacious, but there are no windows to open, and no way to monitor the air conditioner. I was too cold at night.

Acceptable Hotel with a 3 Star Rating

After more than 10 years of staying in this hotel in the past, this return trip to Twin Tower Hotel show improvement in service. However Housekeeping service is still slow to guest request. In need of a renovation as the fixtures and fittings are showing sign of old age and in poor maintenance. Of course for the price you are pricing, please do not expect much but this is an acceptable hotel stay in terms of location (near MBK) and Yaowarat at short distance

Hotel messed up with the blocked money in my visa card and haven’t got my blocked money back yet. Terrible hotel. Hate it so much. never gonna go there again. Receptionist took along time to give the room. The point is the blocked money in my account from the hotel still blocked
