If you want to stay in the heart of Luang Prabang, Indigo House couldn’t be a better choice! The night market begins at the foot of the hotel and is perfectly situated next to both the shopping and food stalls of the night market. Rooms facing the market are noisy until 10 PM when the market shuts down and then it is extremely peaceful. The staff is amazing and the food available in the cafe is incredible. The rooms are somewhat dated but very comfortable and clean.

Really, really good. The location is just across from the night market (my room had a balcony overlooking it), and close to everything. The hotel is very well kept up -- no problems anywhere. The food is great.

Was a fantastic stay. The room and hotel met all our expectations but beware the market sound stage directly opposite- thankfully that ended by 10pm … not ideal but if you want 24 hrs quiet then do not stay . For us we worked around it ok. One great highlight was the breakfast- wow excellent taste and presentation- thank you we enjoyed our 3 nights .

This was a very nice hotel. Older rustic style facility but well cared for. Their food was excellent. Every meal I ate there was perfect. The staff is A It’s located right in the middle of a bustling community with a huge night market right across the street. Plenty of sightseeing nearby too

Hotel is a little tired but is in a great location near to night markets. We had a balcony overlooking main street where lots of people are about and surprisingly once in our room there wasn't much noise. Spacious room. Good breakfast.

Good Spot Right in the middle of town

Overlooks the night market, but that ends at 21:00. Tallest building in town with a rooftop bar. Cafe bakery downstairs is excellent. There is an ATM on sight, a beer wholesaler and a booking shop next door.

Generally a good experience. The appearance is a little faded but it is still good. Food was very good.

TV’s had smart boxes so you can watch YouTube, Netflicks etc.

My only real niggle is the lack of hot water. To be fair it is roasting hot and warm water is fine but don’t expect a pipping hot shower.

As a bonus all the transfer buses kick you outside. It is the wrong end of town for riverside, but then again no one bothers to try and sell you a sunset cruise.

Not cheap, but LP is not cheap!

人気のインディゴハウスにキャンセルが１部屋だけ出たので、一人旅には予算オーバーながら予約。ホテル自体はとてもおしゃれでかわいく、スタッフもフレンドリー。朝食も最高！ただ、眺望は期待していなかったけれど、窓の目の前が隣の家！レースカーテンがあるわけでもないので、一切窓開けられず滞在中ずっと真っ暗。部屋の方角によりますが、それだけが残念でした。バルコニー付き、通り側、となっていないお部屋はこの可能性があります。あとはトイレが下水のにおいがけっこうしました。すぐ隣にツアーデスクがあるので、自転車を借りたり滝への往復を頼めました。

We really liked staying here! The location was great and even though you are right next to the day market and right in the middle of the night market it was still quiet enough to get a good sleep. The breakfast and food at the restaurant was good and the bakery sold some of the best bread! The staff was very helpful and friendly! We definitely recommend staying here!

I can not say enough about Indigo House! Our stay was perfect. The hotel is located at the end of the night market and close to many cafes and restaurants. The cafe on the ground floor was great and all their baked goods were tasty. The staff were very helpful and kind. I hope I can come back here again.

The room, hotel, and staff were fantastic. I stayed for four nights and would have happily stayed another four.

The complimentary breakfast had many delicious options, and there was fresh fruit in the room every day.

The location at the start of the night market makes it a little noisy (only until 10pm) but also makes for great people watching from the balcony or rooftop bar.

The hotel is one if the tallest in Luang Prabang. It unfortunately does not have a lift and would not be suitable for the elderly especially if you were on the top floor. Nice bar area on rooftop terrace with great views of night market. Ori bakery on ground floor nice cakes and coffee with light meals. Rooms are large and roomy. My shower recess was a bit tired looking though

We really enjoyed our stay at this small hotel. It is right in the town centre, next to the night market and the food market. The hotel is of a rustic nature. We had a very large room on to second floor. It had a separate shower and toilet. It faced towards the river and overlooked the food market. I loved leaving the window open and waking to sound of the cockerels and the smell of wood smoke from the food market.
You were offered a choice of options for breakfast. It would have been nice for have at least unlimited fruit juice.
The hotel has many stairs and is not ideal for people with mobility issues.
There is very little negative to mention, but the socket for the bedside light was hanging completely away from the wall.

Cute hotel in the heart of Luang Prabang

Wonderful, cute hotel right in the heart of Luang Prabang. We had a balcony that overlooked the night market which was lovely and relaxing. The hotel has great food, offers an interesting cooking course and the staff are very helpful. The only slight downside was that we had a room directly below the rooftop bar and anytime someone moved a chair there was very loud scraping across the floor which was a little disrupting when we were trying to get to sleep in the evening and have a lie in in the morning. Overall though, a wonderful hotel.

Hotel location is perfect (just on the night market) and the included breakfast is excellent. Rooms are nice and big but the WiFi is hugely spotty and the hotel staff is a little scattered, in the sense they forgot some of our bookings and needed reminding. Can be a bit noisy at night but everything closes by 11 so no issues for us.

This hotel is in a great location. At the end of the night market and a street for \"street food\". Very close to major temples. Room was huge and nice to have a bathtub. Water pressure really good.

Hotel food was excellent and the coffee. Breakfast was huge and had a selection for hot items.

Entrance to the Night Market

This place is more than convenient if you want to enjoy the night market. You literally walk out into the beginning of the night market. There is also a great food market at night lining the left side of the building. The staff is great and the A/C works well. There were minor issues such as towel hooks coming out of the wall and stuff like that, but it was still worth it for a comfortable bed and very convenient location. The morning Buddhist tradition of alms receiving is also right outside.

Excellent hotel next to night market. Close to all restaurants and bars. Room was large clean and had everything you will need from fridge, hairdryer, coffee and tea. Comfortable large bed with comfy pillows. Breakfast was good with a good choice served to you. The hotel have a great restaurant selling bread and cakes at front. Lovely coffees. Great food menu with vegetarian food menu as well with lots of choices.

Fabulous Hotel in a fantastic location!

Fabulous hotel in a fantastic location. Close to everything, across the road from the market, beautiful bakery run by the hotel, incredible breakfast. Because it's across the road from the market it can be a little noisy at night. If you don't want to eat at the hotel you can be buy food across the road at very inexpensive prices. Close to the Mekong River with rows of lovely old French houses.Bedrooms are lovely, but one needs to take care when entering the bath, hotel does not have a lift and isn't suitable for people who rely on a wheel chair.
I would always stay at this hotel. Luang Prabang is a beautiful place to holiday, great for all ages.

It is a basic hotel in the middle of the Town Centre. Choose if you can sleep in a very noisy environment. You have to shut very difficult to close old wooden doors and windows to get some priivacy.

Hotel served with nice breakfast and fresh local fruits every day... really enjoy the stay in this hotel, but prior to our arrival, we had requested to add on extra bed in our room and required attached with bathtub, the hotel staff had been arranged and replied that they will fulfill our requirement, but on that day, we found that our room didn’t attached with bathtub due to full house and didn’t informed us about this before our arrival, it caused little disappointment. Overall, we still enjoyed our stay in this hotel.

The Indigo House has a great location. It is literally a few steps from the night market and the center of everything. They have a nice cafe and serve a good breakfast. I had a room facing the night market/street which has quite a bit of noise until the market shuts down. All of the staff are very friendly and always have a warm welcome. The cafe also has a nice bakery selection that is available from the street. I will stay here next trip!

Fantastic location. Breakfast was indulgence... we had leftovers everyday. One downside is the lack of privacy of the shower. There is no blind to cover up the glass door. Romantic for couples but not practical if sharing with friends or family. A tad bit noisy if you are a light sleeper, I could hear sound from the roadside even with windows close.

We were really delighted by the Indigo House Hotel. We had been to the cafe on the first floor once before, on a previous trip to Luang Prabang. While the cafe was nice, we worried that the hotel above might be a little \"hostel-y\". Couldn't be further from the case. We booked it this time because it was close to the starting line for the Luang Prabang half marathon (who wants to walk even a few extra steps when your wife is making you run 13 miles), and we were so pleasantly surprised. Well appointed room, good food in the cafe, great location, but what takes the cake for us was the staff. Very helpful and friendly. They even arranged a very late checkout for us, on the spot, so that we could recover from our run in the AC. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Great location for exploring Luang Prabang

The hotel is in a great location for exploring LP, everything is just an easy walk from the hotel. The staff were very wecoming and extremely helpful throughout our 3 night stay. They arranged transport by local bus for us to The Kuang Si Falls, it is a great trip. The falls are amazing! They also booked a mini bus (free of charge) to take us to the airport at the end of our stay. The cafe on the ground floor (which was also used by many other travellers) created a great ambiance. At breakfast there was a choice of seven menus, all were served with orange juice, coffee, a platter of fresh fruit and a small Lao sweet. We tried different ones, each equally delicious and well cooked! Our room was at the back of the hotel and was very quiet and comfortable.

Great location and place to relax.

We can the Royalty room, not exactly fit for a king, but very adequate. Service was very friendly. Five good selections for the breakfast included with the room (take the Indigo breakfast with omelet) freshly made from the kitchen. Night bazaar starts in front of the hotel but closes at 10pm so not a problem with noise at night. Great top floor lounge for relaxing and watching the action below. Night bazaar is very over-priced. My wife is Thai and speaks Lao fluently so she got 50% off. We returned to Bangkok and found many items on Sukhumvit road for 1/4 the price! She was angry but the price was still cheap at 50% off, just hurt her feelings!

A Gem In Luang Prabang

It was not easy trying to decide where exactly to stay in Luang Prabang but as this was my first trip, I decided on the Indigo House Hotel for its central location (where I didn't have to walk across any bridges daily to get to town). Also, the offer of the complimentary airport pick-up and transfer was a draw (note, you'll have to drop them an email and call up to make arrangements for this). The pick-up and transfer worked out fine.

During my stay, I was given a room with a balcony and even though the night market is just outside the hotel, I didn't hear much noise - contrary to what other reviewers have mentioned. In the room, I got 2 complimentary bottles of water, which the staff replenish on a daily basis if they're consumed. There is also a new fruit in the room everyday. Room was overall clean and housekeeping is done everyday

The daily complimentary cooked breakfast, which came with my booking, was great. You get to choose from a good selection of dishes, ranging from Western, vegetarian and Laotian. Coffee is good here.

The Hotel has a good view right at the top of their covered roof deck - perfect for chilling with a cold drink and to watch the sunset and night market.

Finally, the stay wouldn't have been great if it wasn't for the friendly staff at the Hotel and the cafe.

エレベーターがないのですが、ホテルの方が荷物は持ってくださいますので安心です❣️鍵は、旧式で、出るときは部屋の中からボタンをプッシュして、閉めると鍵がかかります。かわいいシータという猫がいます!とてもおとなしくて愛らしい猫です。朝食は、種類も豊富で、美味しいです。カフェレストランなので、洋風が、おすすめ。出てくるのはゆっくりです。
