They we're renovating the whole time we were there. They didn't inform us of that when we booked. The breakfast was pathetic and 4 of the 5 nights they only had breakfast for dinner. No main course. The massage spar didn't have anyone who spoke English.

Staying at the Leonardo Plaza Hotel in Tiberias was an absolute delight! From the moment I stepped into the beautifully remodeled room, I was captivated by the attention to detail and the stunning view overlooking the boardwalk. The location couldn’t have been more perfect, situated in the heart of everything, yet offering a serene escape.

What truly set this experience apart was the exceptional service provided by the staff, Talia the public relations manager in particular was extremely helpful and polite. Every request or concern I had was swiftly addressed with a smile, making me feel incredibly well taken care of throughout my stay. Their attentiveness and professionalism truly exceeded my expectations, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience.

I can confidently say that my time at the Leonardo Plaza Hotel was nothing short of five stars, and I eagerly look forward to returning for another unforgettable stay.

Air-conditioning in both of my rooms were not working. I went downstairs to complain a number of times and it was not repaired. I asked for other rooms, and was not given. So I asked for fans, since my kids were all sweating and my rooms were extremely hot (temperature was close to 100 that day) after begging for a while I got only 1 and later another one, which both were broken as well. (I wish I can post a videos clip from the fans)
I needed to gown down late an night to ask for tape so I can do my own repairs.
When I was downstairs 2 other guests complaining about the same issue. Not only don’t they have working AC in the rooms, the hallways the common areas are extremely hot as well.

Good location on lakefront with nice pool area. Rooms clean but a bit tired looking. Breakfast had good choice but hot food was barely warm. Staff however were unhelpful and borderline rude. At check in we were given no information at all about the hotel, breakfast times, pool times etc. I asked about pool times and was told it was open until 7pm but when we went to the pool at 5.50 it was already closed. We had ordered a room with an extra bed, which was not provided and we had to ask for it. We were not given any information about parking and got a ticket and fine on our first day.
Lifts were often busy and as well as other rude guests barging in front of us, we even had a staff member push in front of us to get in the lift.
Overall hotel was adequate but rude staff would put me off staying with this hotel again.

This property requires some maintenance as the hotel has a smell to it from poor ventilation and aged facilities.

Overall this hotel was too busy and noisy for our liking. The facilities were not great and we were not given any notice that certain swim hours are limited to only male or female guests.

First of all hotel looks old which we were ok with. The amount of kids you see is crazy. No control during the rest hours. We stayed 3 nights were woken up twice by kids playing soccer in the hallway. Hotel staff doesn’t do anything about it. I wouldn’t consider staying there again.

The facility and location was great. They made a tremendous effort to be Covid Friendly. The elevators were challanging to keep social distancing. The Check in was rediculous because I needed to pay them anyway. I didn't quite understand if I was willing to pay the extra money for my wife's breakfast, how it affected the resevation.

Полотенца не чистые! Каждый раз что заказывали не получали чистых. У басейна полотенца чище.
Для количества народу в отеле, басейн слишком маленький а лифтов мало. На 13 этажей 3 маленьких лифта.
На ресепшене добрые и терпеливые люди. В столовой тоже хорошие, грели моему сыну еду и не корчили из себя ничего. Номер уберают хорошо.

My one complaint was that for the 2 nights of my stay there was some type of loud concert on the promenade outside the hotel. the first night this went on to near 11 PM. While this may not have been in the hotel's control I would not have booked at the Leonardo had I known this was occurring. Traveling is tiring and I try to get to sleep between 2130 to 2200, Otherwise the property was fine and a decent value.

The reception staff were quite rude when we checked in. We had a junior suite and it was nice and large with a sofa and a complimentary half a bottle of red wine. The balcony was very dirty, with bird droppings all over it.

the staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is older (i'm guessing built in the late 60's or early 70s). THere have been some updates, LVT plank flooring in the bedrooms, new granite countertops in the bathrooms, LED lighting. The Negatives: THe A/C is noisy, the windows are filthy, the bathroom mirrors are dirty upon arrival, there is stained tile in the shower, the shower curtain is falling off the hooks (it's broken) all the LED lighting is the 'blue' color and is very harsh. The general area around the hotel is a smelly, dumpy boardwalk that is not hospitable, is trash strewn, and smells, literally. This area has huge potential being right on the water/boardwalk. for the price, it's not worth it.

Our very pleasant stay in Tiberias!!

Our room was on the 10th floor, with a balcony balcony facing the Kinneret.
The room was in great condition....renovated & clean with beautiful view. The location of the hotel was in close proximity to many Restaurants and Cafes.
Breakfast buffet was plentiful and included. Staff were pleasant throughout the hotel. This hotel seems to have an administration that cares about its guests being happy.
We received two phone calls from the hotel desk during our 3 night stay inquiring if there was anything that we needed!
Parking areas for the guests are located in parking areas next to the hotel. Guests are responsible to pay for their own parking from 8 am to 8 pm.

This is by far the best hotel in the Galilee area! Friendly staff, delicious food, beach access, great location and incredible view!!! Right on the water. I have stayed in both the standard room and the suites. Amazing! You will not regret staying here.

Disappointing - have stayed at many hotels but this was by far the most chaotic - on check in, our conversation with the person who was trying to do her job checking us in had to be shouted due to the excessive volume of the entertainment in the lobby lounge - then, we had ordered a room with twin beds and on arrival in the room there was a double bed - it took several attempts to get that changed - overall not such a pleasant experience - we thought the bathroom was quite shabby and the bedroom not much better

The simple truth is one's options are few. This is not Jerusalem or Tel-Aviv. If is favorably positioned and that is it's strength. The staff seemed largely indifferent with some exceptions. If you're going near times of family or school holidays, expect that culture. You can however make the most of it, as I did, but you will not mistake it for the Ritz-Carlton.

Nice in comparison, but not worth $200/night

The bed was really 2 twins pushed together and hard. We enjoyed the upgraded room with a balcony. the staff was rude. It took 30 minutes to check in due to a large amount of people and they kept coming in and asking us to move our car while we were still in line.

Our room had a string musty smell and when we pulled back the sheets they had stains and looked unchanged. We asked for fresh sheets and they immediately sent someone to take care of that, but it was already a bad first impression.

The hotel is in a good area. It's clean and has lots to offer. However, for non Israeli tourists, keep in mind they observe Shabbat. The hospitality isn't that great either. Customer service is not a strength is not a priority in this part of the world so don't expect it. We had one parking attendant tell us to park the car ourselves. When we tried to schedule massages, we were given attitude. When I tried to cancel the massages, I called and called no one answer. I finally got a person and I was ask...\"why are you just calling us now\". I kindly explained that I had been calling with no answer.
If you want a clean place to sleep in a good area. This is your hotel. If you expect good customer service, this is not the place to come.

Great family stay

We came from the states as part of a 10 day family vacation. There were 6 adults and a 1 year old. We used this as our base for touring northern sites. Great location, we found wonderful restaurants- highly recommend Avi's and Decks - and the rooms and service were terrific.
