Toural has an old-world charm, with its location, decor, and the service. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast is full of nice surprises including home made cakes. The room is very spacious with a balcony over looking the historical Toural square. We loved our stay!

Gem in Guimaraes

Wonderful receptionist JulieAnn with a big big welcome and hello everytime.
Very helpful a mind of useful information on what to see and do.
Comfy bed great views over one of the towns squares and a terrific breakfast to start the day.
Guimsraes a hidden gem and be back at Toural Hotel to explore the Geres National Park.

Great location - close to historic center, although struggled a bit finding it, the entrance is tucked away in a corner.

Super location. The breakfast was served on an elegant table setting. The gentleman who served breakfast was very professional and friendly. All of the staff were very helpful. Great bed and shower. The only improvement that would nice would be to replace the aging carpet in the room with a hard surface floor. We highly recommend this hotel.

Clean, safe, in the middle of the historic center and because of that it is the very best location. Breakfast is wonderful and the staff is the friendliest I’ve ever met anywhere. They are willing to help and accommodate you always with a genuine smile on their faces. For sure, if I return to Guimaraes, I will stay right there again!

Excellent Hotel in Perfect Location

We were here for eight days and used it as a base whilst we revisited towns in Northern Portugal. It is in a great location in the old city. Our spacious suite overlooked the Largo de Toural square and due to the double window sound proofing the room was quiet and peaceful. We also had double doors to the lobby. Breakfast was good and served at the table by friendly staff. The reception staff could not have been more helpful particularly regarding ensuring that we had car parking. We stayed in high season and yet our rate was excellent value.

Great Location In The Heart Of The City

Located right in the centre of the city the hotel offers a unique blend of old and new. Spotlessly clean, tastefully furnished and all of the places of interest within easy walking distance. A special must go to Marta, Pedro and Gentil who went out of their way to make our stay in the hotel very special.

Quiet Luxury

The staff was wonderful and attentive. They have great sense of humor but more importantly the room was quiet, spacious. The king bed was truly king size. It was so comfortable unlike the IKEA beds I slept in half of the nights in Portugal. Not sure if we were upgraded but the room was large. The room was really a suite with a sitting area that can be isolated.

This was the best hotel during our 14 days in Portugal.

centrally situated but slightly hidden in a little \"travessa\". This was such a delightful find for the price ! The building has been renovated with spacious rooms , a good breakfast and wonderfully friendly and helpful staff. We loved our stay.The rooms are clean and comfortable with a mini bar and free wi fi.

Un hotel avec un très beau style. Très propre. Personnel accueillant. Très bon déjeuner avec service aux tables. Notre chambre était à côté de l'ascenseur qui était bruyant mais peu ou pas utilisé la nuit. Pour ce qui est de la douche, beaucoup d'eau par terre car pas adaptée aux personnes de grande taille. Aucun stationnement et le stationnement payant est assez loin avec des valises et sous la pluie dans notre cas. Nous recommandons avec certaines réserves, particulièrement si vous avez une voiture.

Sehr gute Lage, Unterkunft \"so lala\". Zimmer 212 kein Wifi. Grosses Zimmer aber mit viel Geräusche im Bad, entstehen durch strömendes Wasser, die Spülung, laute Stimmen des 2. Stock und 3. Stock. Zweite Nacht in Zimmer 208 mit Wifi besser aber immer noch nicht top.

Bel hôtel, bien situé pour visiter. Beaucoup de restaurants et boutiques à proximité. Déjeuner ok . Seul point négatif était le Wi-Fi, nous n’avons jamais eu accès à partir de notre chambre. Nous devions descendre en bas au lobby pour avoir accès. Autrement l’endroit est propre bien qu’un peu vieillot. Des travaux de peintures étaient en cours lors de notre séjour. Je recommande cet endroit.

Nettes Hotel in der Altstadt

Ein nettes in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel mit sehr, sehr netten Mitarbeitern. Die Lage ist sehr gut, in der Altstadt mit vielen ruhigen Zimmern. Das Frühstück wird am Tisch serviert, was wir sehr umständlich fanden.

Hotel classificado como 4 estrelas mas é 3 estrelas . Não tem nada de extraordinário nos quartos nem no café da manhã que é bem básico . Lencois de qualidade porém travesseiros duros . Os quartos são grandes e banheiro também mas é um hotel antigo com piso do quarto em carpete . Os pontos positivos foram localização bem central , dando para fazer os pontos turísticos a pé, os funcionários da recepção e café da manhã muito gentis . Destaco que na descrição dizia estacionamento grátis , porém o hotel não tem estacionamento . Tem 3 vagas que fica na rua e estava cheio , então tivemos que pagar estacionamento público .
