FOR: All 100% perfect inc booking-in, reception staff, luxury rooms, breakfast & evening meals, staff serving and outside areas. Can’t get any better than that! Didn’t use any amenities.
AGAINST: Told to enjoy when booking in December newly refurbished Orangery restaurant. Looked really beautiful in photo but when arrived end Feb it was still like a building site, so a bit misleading. Would love to go again when Orangery Restaurant opens.

We were lucky enough to arrive on a bright, sunny day, highlighting the beautiful view from the Seamill Hydro, which was a great start. We checked in slightly early to be told that our room was already available so we were able to unpack abd then make the most of the swimming pool, before getting ready for dinner. Unfortunately the Orangery was under refurbishment, however dinner was provided in the Aura bar instead. The staff on check in, and in the restaurant, were all friendly and very helpful, the facilities were good, and we definitely want to return!

Beach hotel but hardly feeling it as I don't see beach from room or breakfast area. At dinner it is too dark to see the beach outside. Christmas time and no entertainment event, very boring atmosphere. Dinning service is super slow too, order and wait for 45 mins to have starter ready, and wait for another 45 mins to have main course.

Lovely hotel right on the beach. We are in the bar restaurant and thought it was very good. The rooms are warm and comfortable. We stayed in the annex and the stairs area let it down a little as it needed a good hoover - although it's a very busy hotel so I think the messiness maybe due to the number of guests using the stairs. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was hot and powerful but the grouting and silicone around the shower was black and mildewy. Just age and use really but definitely was in need of a make over (a re-grout).
I would definitely stay again if I was back in the area.

We stayed originally for 2 nights. We had to leave a day early because my wife became unwell. They moved us to a room with an elevator. The room we were given had wallpaper peeling from small areas of the wall. Window sill had laminate missing. The toilet door paint was bubbling up. But, the staff were very helpful. The room had a great view. The food is brilliant. Overall the hotel is brilliant. They said that this block of rooms are going to be refurbished. It is a beautiful hotel and the area is wonderful. I will definitely be back sometime in the future.

The staff in every area of the hotel were fabulous. Nothing was too much, everyone was super friendly, helpful and happy.

Our room was nice and enough for our needs. Bathroom was lovely, huge shower and great products. Could do with hair conditioner though as i have super long hair and thought from our last stay there was conditioner, there is in the ladies changing room in the leisure centre.
We did Zumba -AMAZING - loved it, the instructor was super!

We stayed for two nights and paid extra for an upgrade, but we were disappointed as on the first night, the sheets and bedding were stained. We we had to phone down to get some clean ones. These were brought up by the bar staff. Had to make the bed ourselves as no other staff were available. Breakfast was good.

Nice hotel. One of the best in area. My room was nice and comfortable and clean. Could do with some fine attention to grout in shower area needs cleaning and mould removed. Bath panel looks a bit discoloured and scuffed the bathroom door has flaked paint and should be replaced . Overall good just those points needed attention to bring it up

Stunning rooms and very well kept property, definitely worth the stars that they receive. Room was comfortable although very hot with not much ventilation. Pool lovely but a little cold but cannot fault. Food at both evening and breakfast to a high standard with the staff friendly and welcoming
