Very busy downtown traffic location.

The most important thing is to mention that the lobby is on the 4th floor! This is inconvenient with luggage. The staff is pleasant, but it should also be mentioned that they are not open 24/7. Also the nearest parking is blocks away.

It was fairly easy to get to by bus and Metro. But I only had one small bag, I wouldn't recommend doing this with big luggage. It cost 5 euro for the bus to the train station/metro station then 1.20 euro for the Metro. It's a 2-3 minute walk from the station.

The guy downstairs of the building is rude, but managed to get him to tell me where to go. This place is on the 4th floor and it's confusing because there is another Bovio suited on the 2nd floor.

The older housekeeper lady is just incredibly lovely and sweet, she let me dropp off my bag to store until check in. She doesn't speak much English but she's just a legend, badass I loved her!

Stayed here for one night with my friend, requested 2 beds got two beds but one was a baby twin bed and the other a full/queen. The rooms are outdated, beds are springy and hard. The room had a cool big old window it had Air-conditioning. It was clean but I found hairs on the shower wall, a towel hook was barley hanging on and things just seemed used and abused. The keys were oldschool skeleton keys. There is an elevator. Good enough for one night and if you're not too picky.

Overall it's in a great location, walking distance from the Spanish quarter. There's plenty of cafe's to grab something to eat and drink around.

The hotel was difficult to find as it is has no sign out of the front so took quite a while on the phone to find it’s location inside a large complex. We arrived around 10pm and we had failed to see there was an additional charge which was very unexpected as we don’t deem 10pm a late check in for a hotel. Once inside the room was nice and comfortable. Location was brilliant

Clean stay in a nice central location. Breakfast was satisfactory. However, front office staff weren't particularly friendly and their card reader didn't work forcing us to pay cash. Shower drain was slow and staff did not attempt to fix it when requested. Traffic circle below was quite loud in the room and it was the first double bed we stayed in that was two twin mattresses pushed together, not great for a honeymoon.

Perfect if you do not mind noise!

the location is great, the staff in the hotel were really nice and professional, the room was big but it has a very bad smell coming from the bathroom so it was not very comfortable.
The hotel is very noise, you can hear absolutely everything even if you are far from reception and from other rooms, even if other guests is taken a shower or they are flushing the toilet.
If you want a quite room, please avoid this place.
The windows are not very well isolated but this was not a problem as the temperature in the room was OK.
Breakfast was OK.

This place is very unique. We usually stay at 4 to 5 star hotel, it was last minute booking and I was suspicious about this place. But it turned out the location is great, the apartment is very clean, the only problem is too to find and a bit noisy since it is in the center of the city.

Nice hotel, pleasant staff, a bit noisy

The hotel was nice in a great location and the staff were very helpful.

The only issue we had was that our room was next to reception so we heard the people checking-in, people coming and going (late at night), and the intercom. Also the mini bar made was annoying due to the noise it made.

However, this did not ruin our trip.

A really good place to stay. The price was reasonable and location was great. Staff were very courteous, but very limited english. The hotel is very difficult to find, it took us three tries even after we got through the massive front doors. To buzz the hotel, its in esplada A, fourth floor. Towards the top and left on the chart outside the door. (I cant remember exactly) We got lucky and someone was coming out, so we tried to find it without buzzing up. Having to carry around giant keys to get in after 9pm was kind of a bummer. The WiFi doesnt work in room 4, but we just went to the couch in the dinning area. Nice balcony to watch the traffic and people show below from. Has a small grocery shop right around the corner, same building. Breakfast could be a bit better, but it still was pretty tasty. Overall we would stay there again. Great people and a great location to go explore Napoli.

Simplistic, clean, refreshing and perfectly located near Universita metro. Easily walkable back from most central locations once the Metro stops working. Check out was 11am but we got refused tea when we left for the airport at 3pm. Shame otherswise a very comfortable stay

Great location, but noisy!

Well located hotel for port for boat trips to Capri and quirky bus trip to Pompeii and Versuvius and right next to metro for easy transfer from station. Difficult to find on Sunday or in evening, as no exterior signage, so make sure you have an accurate map and look for the tiny sign amongst many others adjacent to a large wooden door - it's on the 4th floor. Only downside is the traffic noise which is incessant, day and night, if you are overlooking the roundabout.

This property is not smoke free, it is also not accessible- steps required to enter. Security in this area of Naples is important and the fact that hotel or building staff are not present after 9 or 10 pm is a draw back. Good for young people traveling in a group.

Can you find it!

Stayed in 10 hotels on our 5th trip to Europe and this was the MOST DIFFICULT hotel to find EVER. Lots of potential but killed by difficult to find, difficult staff, poor breakfast and hard to use keys. If you have never stayed here then don't book!!!!! Otherwise reasonable value. Need to put a detailed map on their website - current map is next to hopeless. I though this was as neat challenge but even 5 local did not know where it was. I will draw up a proper map if they ask me to.

Little bit confusing to find the hotel at first. It is right on the roundabout, not further down the street as we initialy thought and there is no external signage. Room was fine with everything we needed and staff helpful when asked for info about directions and calling taxi for trip to airport. Breakfast was not amazing although staff went to extra trouble to make me a yummy hot chocolate!

Charming surprise

We arrived in Napoli via high-speed train from Rome, which we recommend wholeheartedly. The staff was gracious and the room was quaint. The best aspect is the location with a grand view from the balcony of the breakfast room. BTW, breakfast was simple but good.
We walked to the centro storico and to the Castello Nuovo. In addition, the incredible Trattoria Mangi e Bevi where we had a 3-course lunch with wine all for 10 Euros per person, is just around the corner! The city was a pleasant surprise, albeit our first night was spent on darkened streets due to non-functioning street lights. This place is definitely not your average tourist hotel, but rather a small pensione-type lodging within a large multi-purpose building.

What can i say?

There is no way to know that this is even a hotel from the outside, no sign, no anything! Its in a somewhat shady area of town. If I hadn't of found a very nice older man that was coming out of the building to ring me in I think I would of just keep walking in circles around the building. I saw the number, but that was it.
The staff, and I use that word loosely because this is a family run business, speaks little to no English.
They had no reservation for me, so that was a whole nother issue.
Other then that, the bed was comfortable, the rooms were very clean and they had amazing water pressure.

Great little B & B

I have to agree with other reviewers that this B & B is difficult to find, as it has no sign outside and the building numbers on the square appear to be quite random. That said its definitely a great place to stay, five minutes walk from where the bus from the airport stops and about ten minutes walk away from the old town.The rooms are spacious and furnished with lovely old furniture. The beds are comfy and the bathrooms have a shower and hairdryer. Breakfast is served in a little breakfast room which also doubles up as reception. This room has a brilliant view over the square which appears to always be manic with traffic! For this reason we asked for a quiet room, which we did receive, this overlooked an internal courtyard with a small balcony. Breakfast is a simple affair, with yogourt, croissants, juice and coffee, perfectly adequate and sets you up for a days sightseeing. I would recommend this hotel if staying in Naples, although we found Naples to be an incredibly dirty city, with litter everywhere. A shame really as it could be such a lovely place if tidied up a bit.

Melina (general manager) and the rest of the staff members were extremely helpful, caring and friendly. Since it was my first trip to Italy, the warmth of their welcome set the tone for the rest of my trip. The hotel is situated walkable distance to Napoli Centrale and many other tourist destinations including Pizzeria Da Michele. I got a quiet room, overlooking the inner courtyard so I didn’t experience any issues with noise. The room was spacious, classic, tasteful and very clean. Next time I come back to Naples, I will definitely stay at Bovio Suite again!

Really Feel Naples

This is a very good deal in an ideal part of town. The rooms are quite spacious and impeccable, with great size bathrooms, and the shower pressure, exquisite. Our room overlooked Plaza Bovio and its surrounding chaos, and was one of the highlights of our stay: Looking out of the old structured building and into the traffic and the gorgeous architecture of the buildings in front truly synthesize the rhythm of the city, its soul. It is close to the port, the center attractions, and the staff are quite helpful. There is a great pizza place right across from the plaza as well and the walk to Central Station, about 20 minutes, while seemingly frightening, must be experienced. Be ready to fight for your dollar with the cab drivers.

We should have stayed longer!

We were moving around Italy and came back to Naples to stay our last night before the airport the next morning. WE LOVED THIS HOTEL. An elevator up to the 4th floor (but there are a dozen more steps up to hotel front door), secure, great location close to port, 20 mins to airport and old-world charm with updated amenities. Lovely decor, friendly staff, great shower and one of the BEST A/C units we had over 2 weeks!!!! It was the first time we were truly cool all through the vacation. This is in a business district, so perfectly fine by day, and considering that some Naples neighborhoods can get surley at night, we still walked to dinner on the Plaza at dark and felt fine. Only real issue is the hotel was a bit hard to find. We walked from the port and dragged our stuff about 20 mins to the Plaza where the hotel sits. No signage, everyone we asked couldn't tell us where it was, but after one of us walked around each street fronting the Plaza, we finally found the No.22 and got buzzed in. Also- ask them to call you a cab when you're leaving. When a hotel calls, it's set at only 19 euro. We would definitely come back here!!!

Awesome! For the price this is an amazing deal. You stay in a former castle with marble stair cases and flours . The free breakfast is basic and but with free wifi and just a 10 euro ride from the trainstation (or take Bus R 2 and get off at bovio plaza). It isn't a 5 start hotel- it is a good price and a decent location next to the waterfront.

Bovio Suit - great hotel for a weekend break

Hotel was great - clean and friendly helpful staff. Great location for a long weekend. Naples however was a let down. On reading reviews prior to our departure I thought people were being rather dramatic about the area around the station but I got mugged before even reaching the hotel! beware of the men on scooters - they mount the pavement to snatch your bag. I hear this is quite common so be on guard. The hotel staff were very helpful, called the police on my behalf etc. and the area immediately round the hotel seemed quite safe - stay away from the rough side of town.

Es ist ein Wohn-/ Bürogebäude. Das \"Hotel\" ist in der 4. Etage. Dort sind die Zimmer, die Größe ist unterschiedlich wie in den Zimmerkategorien angegeben. Die Bilder müssen kritisch betrachtet werden. Die Zimmer sind sauber. Der Essbereich im Zimmer ist in Frage zu stellen, da bietet sich eher der Aufenthalt vor der kleinen Rezeption an. Die Regendusche ist nur etwas für Personen bis 1,65 m. Meine Dusche war mit einem blauen Plastiktuch vom Bad abgetrennt. In der Dusche war es daher eher dunkel. Tageslicht kommt nur unzureichend in den Raum. Das Personal war während meines Aufenthaltes sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die Lage des Hotels ist ideal, Metro vor der Tür, Gastronomie rundherum vielfältig und gut. Das bedingt allerdings auch Lärm. Bis in die Nacht bekommt man Straßenlärm auch bei einem Zimmer mit Blick in den Innenhof mit. Fazit: Für 1 oder 2 Nächte ok.
Ankunft: Rechts neben der Eingangstür Klingel auf dem Block links oben, durch die (enge) Eingangstür in den Innenhof, sofort rechts Block A, mit Fahrstuhl in 4. Etage, kurze Treppe hinauf, Hoteltür links mit Klingel.

Bel posto, torneremo!

Prima volta al Bovio suite, un po' per caso l'avevo scelto come tappa prima di Ischia e siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti! La posizione centrale è perfetta, per prendere il traghetto dopo ma anche per uscire la sera. La camera molto tranquilla, abbiamo dormito bene, senza rumore e con conforto. Prevediamo di tornare a Napoli al autunno per passare più tempo nella città questa volta e torneremo li con certezza!! Grazie!

We arrived by train in the middle of the day. The help at the reception was very good and the check in went smooth and fast. We got a room in the corner in good condition (compared to Italian standards). The cleaning was performed everyday and they made sure to keep the room cool for when we got back. There was a neat and nice breakfast every morning. At the check out we were able to keep our bags at the hotel the entire day. We had a good experience with Bovio Suite Hotel.

La maison d’hôte est très bien situé, la seule petite problématique est de trouver l’endroit !

Old room good point is location

The hotel building is old and also the inside decoration is old. The room is cleaned well but there’s a weird/sour smell near the fridge corner. Location is very convenient just outside of metro, the gate is not obvious but good point is there’s elevator if you’re traveling with big luggage. Breakfast is really the minimum. We move the next day to another hotel, same price but with much newer and comfortable room.

ナポリ中央駅の次、Metro L1 università 駅上がった広場の馬の尻尾側、真後ろの門から入って右側の建物の4階です。私達が泊まった部屋はそのPiazza Giovanni Bovioに面しており、4階であることと、もしうるさければ窓も雨戸もしめることができ、全く気になりませんでした。行きと帰りの時間外の荷物も預かっていただき、夜にお湯もいただきました。ゴミの3つの分別がありましたが、丁寧に説明が書いてあり難しいものではありません。朝食は８時からで、クロワッサンだけでも3種類はあり、ヨーグルト、ケーキ、ピザ、果物など充分満足でした。家族3人で泊まりましたが、広い部屋に浴槽ありでとても良かったです。内装は女の子っぽい感じです。スタッフの方々もみなさん感じがよく、わからないことも親切に教えてくれました。コスパがとても良く、またナポリに来てもここに泊まりたいと思あるホテルです。

Das hotel war erstmal nicht leicht zu finden weil wegen Denkmalschutz nirgendwo ein Schild hängt. Das Personal war sehr nett. Es wurde täglich einmal durchgeputzt, d.h sie waren bemüht um Sauberkeit, was aber nicht immer erfolgreich war. Ich fand es nicht schlimm, es war halt nicht 100% sauber von Anfang an aber es war in Ordnung. Preisleistungsverhältnis war also auch Ok. was wirklich überragend war, war die Lage, nette Restaurants in der Umgebung, sowie Supermärkte, die einkaufsmeile, das Meer und das Viertel fürs Nachtleben.

Ottima struttura in un palazzo antico a due passi da tutto quello che di bello c'è da vedere a Napoli - tra l'altro, in corrispondenza della fermata Metro Università. Personale davvero a modo: dalla reception alla colazione (che abbiamo trovato davvero ottima per qualità e varietà). Stanza pulita e arredata con mobili antichi con una bella vista sul \"Rettifilo\". Ottimo il rapporto qualità/prezzo. Altamente consigliata.

Due giornate piacevoli

Scelto per la sua vicinanza alla Compagnia Grimaldi, si è rivelata un ottimo hotel per la gentilezza del personale, per la pulizia ed i confort.Bella anche la visuale del monumento in Piazza Bovio su cui si affacciano i balconi. Pur essendo in una zona centrale, tuttavia è molto tranquillo ed i suoni della città non disturbano affatto. Da ritornarci.

Muy buen lugar, cómodo, bien ubicado, garage cerca

Muy lindo, bien ubicado, a mano de un garage que es muy difícil conseguir un hotel con garage cerca en Napoles, hasta me acompañaron al garage para ayudarme. Buena onda, buen desayuno, todo fantástico.

Eccellente punto di partenza per visitare Napoli

Abbiamo soggiornato in quest'albergo per 3 notti. Molto utile la fermata Metro che si trova a pochi passi dall'albergo. Stanza confortevole e pulizia e cambio asciugamani giornaliero. Unica pecca la colazione. Iniziava alla 8:00 ma per poter trovare tutto pronto bisognava andare dopo. Suggerisco l'utilizzo di un forno a microonde per poter riscaldare i cornetti Sono decisamente più buoni se mangiati caldi! :-)

Ho soggiornato in questo B&B , solo una notte. Camera molto ampia e molto pulita. Colazione buona, ma soprattutto personale gentilissimo. Ci tornerò.
