We have been staying at the Armada for the past thirteen years and the quality has just continued to go down over the years. The following are some examples: poor cable reception, poor internet reception, no warm water for your shower, reduced staffing, reduced menu options in the restaurant. We even had to request simple basic items such as silverware or towels. Your rates are still low but I am not sure we will be back. We switched hotels and stayed at the City Garden Suites. Yes, we paid more, but what we got in return we feel was worth it.

Larg room and toilet.But cold water never hot? VERY COLD. Also no foot mats on the floor easy to slip and fall over in the shower.
WiFi weak signal. Main room door difficult to lock the door? they sent engineer and made some modification to the security bolt ( drill hole for the bolt to enter) But main lock still difficult.

The staff was very helpful, the room was in good condition but the hot water was barley warm, the internet connection was intermittent.
The pool water was too cold to enjoy and barley any Sun because of the surrounding buildings.
The gym was not open (no working machines.) the Spa was closed.
I was very disappointed from my previous stay several years earlier.

It takes entirely too long to check in and out. Its dark in the room lightening is not good. The process of checking in and out is as if you are going thru customs into another country. Never have anything prepared, they have list of reservations for the day, they should be prepared for the customers coming in. Its a horrible system checking in!! I will never stay there again, the wife has more patients and will stay if traveling alone but personally i cant wait 30 mins for you to print, sign, print, fold, sign, or whatever takes you so long. I checkin to newcoasts and it takes 5mins and they offer me my upgrade. Armada.. no upgrade and if you ask they look at you like you are crazy. Everytime no sorry sir we dont know. They know I am expedia member and its suppose to be offered if your a gold member but they never do.. Anyway .. Cheap hotel, good rooms I recommend if you dont mind waiting to check in.

I stayed here about 4 years ago and I have nothing but praises . But at this time , I stayed for 3 days , but very disappointed of the place . The bathroom has no enclosure, so water splash all over when you shower . Upon check in , there are no hand towels nor bathmat to step on after shower . I asked for one but was provided with a bathmat with rubber ( told them those slips when gets wet ) - the following day , they cleaned the room and I found a notification of a stain in a duvet cover? They took a picture of it showed to me but I had doubts . Cost me P500 pesos. From then on , I feel like will be tiptoeing . I will definitely not coming back and will not recommend to friends . Thank you anyway .

The entire 3 nights we stayed there the power was out most of the time. The breakfast was decent but its not worth the price. Also be careful they will charge you a random stain on their towel 500 pesos for small stain of apparently spaghetti sauce. They will do house keeping while you’re gone and claim that there’s stain in there towels! I don’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

I think for a 4-star rating, this hotel should be nicer. The wifi was very spotty, which was frustrating as I had research and bookings to make for my travels and it was impossible to do so when I was settled in my room for the night. I talked to the staff, and all I heard was “it’s working”, though it was so bogged down it wasn’t working. I had to write a review because wifi is a necessity these days, and someone may want to avoid being frustrated each evening and night, like I was. When I took baths, the water wasn’t hot, lukewarm at best, but when I showered, it seemed ok, though the water sprayed all over and soaked the bathroom - and they were very limited with the towels. The AC in the lobby was weak. The staff was lovely, and the beds/pillows were pretty comfortable however.

The people at the front desk are very nice and helpful. It’s just the management of this property from when I first came here pre-2017 change completely not for the better used to be a great spot now it’s run down that breakfast buffet forget about it. The Wi-Fi Constantly failure and for sure all you’ll get as a corporate response. Sorry for the inconvenience. Maybe we can do better in the future, which you should know that will never happen.

I used to go all the time and it was nice and accomodating .. now its a process to check in .. they read you entire page of rules .. dont let u check in early .. everyone lines up at 2pm to check in .. so now u all waiting in line at 2pm to get room .. girls are nice but too rigid on policies .. customer sevice and empathy for guests would go a long way for this hotel ... not the worst place but i dont think i will go back .. even check out is too long process.. i usually stay at new coast but was booked so i decided to go back here because i used to stay her all the time but sadly wont be back... it is cheap and room is not horrible but definitely getting old and rooms are dark ..shower is strong .. bed ok .. looks like a bomb hit the street .. they are either rebuilding or just tearing down .. not sure but maybe next year 2024 it will be all fixed up ..

The food was good mostly apart from the undercooked raw eggs for breakfast. The staff were mostly pleasant to me, but not my guests. There was building work/scaffolding on the front of the hotel. The bathroom door handle was broken and didn't get fixed after I reported it. They didn't provide enough towels even though I had paid for 4 people to stay and tried to charge me for extra after checking out. The cups were not cleaned each day during room cleaning. The staff were overheard making comments about my family guests who do speak Tagalog too. My step son was challenged several times after parking his scooter in the underground car park.

Mould on ceiling in main room and round floor in bathroom.

Part fault of expedia, listing this hotel on their website. Rating is completely misleading and although i booked for 2 adult and 2 children, i was booked a king bed only. Then there was the fuss about only 2 booked for breakfast.

I had paid extra of £58.00 for extra person and still i was questioned about breakfast for us all.

I lay all of this with Expedia who have clearly not reviewed/ inspected this property in recent years

Although the staff was friendly and building generally clean, this hotel seriously oversold what amenities are actually offered and are available. The bar is not open, but is under construction. The upstairs restaurant was not operating like advertised. But also looked to be either under construction or recurving a major overall that would be done no time soon. The location was completely surrounded by dilapidated buildings, people waiting outside who followed me whenever I would leave the hotel, and next to buildings covered in graffiti with the names of local gangs.

I strongly urge potential guests to think twice before making a reservation at Armada Hotel. If you value a hotel that prioritizes customer satisfaction, provides a high level of service, and displays flexibility in accommodating unforeseen circumstances, I suggest looking elsewhere. Armada Hotel's lack of understanding and refusal to consider a change of date or offer a refund are indicative of a deeply disappointing customer experience. I believe that a hotel's true character is revealed in how it handles challenging situations and interacts with its guests. In this regard, Armada Hotel has fallen short. Their rigid policy and lack of flexibility have not only cost them my business but have also tarnished their reputation in my eyes.

The service staff was very helpful and courteous. The breakfast was good, although most of the food is filipino and I did not eat it. But my filipina wife liked it though. The room was comfortable and shower was very good. I had problem with room being too cold, until I found the temp control was a remote on the 3rd day of stay. There was a bad smell in the hallways and the elevator, and only one of two elevators was working. The neighborhood that the hotel is located is very poor, dirty and smelly. It might be worth considering a more expensive hotel to get away from that. When I searched on the web for hotels near Bonifacio Global City (BGC), this hotel came on top of the list, despite the fact that It was very far away from the BGC and the Mall of Asia, where we really wanted to be. Had to use taxi or Grab to go anywhere nice

Stayed here before, on the 11 floor, which was a nice room. However, this time we were on the 12 floor. The outside A/C units kept us awake and so did the constant outside traffic noice. Not the hotels fault, but it didn’t make our stay enjoyable. Breakfast was a bit uninspiring as well.

Not worth the money!

Definitely not worth the price. Many things mentioned in ad are no longer available; no bar next to pool; no bar downstairs. Pool had 3 sun loungers.
Water temp was excellent! Tall buildings block the sun at different times.
* Our air conditioning woke up up to a large pool of water dripping from the ceiling. Our suitcase was right next to it but thank God it missed destroying our clothes and electronics!
There was a black mold growing in the shower area and bathroom. The breakfast buffet was almost gone when we got there at 8:30 and they didn’t bring any more out; no eggs of any kind; no juices either.
It is in a bad area because buildings are being torn down all around the hotel on every side; it’s like a scene out of a war movie; looks like it was bombed!
Will I ever go back? “No”.

Although this hotel looks great in pictures, it was a very disappointing stay. The front staff were very friendly and helpful when checking in and any other questions we had, but unfortunately it wasn’t enough to leave feeling satisfied. In general the whole floor smelled but specifically our room had a weird stench to it even with the air conditioning running. We spotted a few cockroaches crawling around the restroom and when we notified the employee when getting our room serviced, all they offered was bug spray! I decided to get massages with my dad after we noticed a holiday promo sale and that was a big mistake. We had the hot stone massage & masseuses had no idea what they were doing. They were talking to one another quite often while we were supposed to be “relaxing” and they constantly dropped things causing loud disturbances making it a challenge trying to enjoy the moment. Their massaging techniques seemed as if they had no idea what they were doing. I often felt as though they were pretending to do other things such as warm up the rocks than massage me to kill time, they took WAY too many breaks in between massaging different areas. This probably was the WORST massage I’ve received in my life. The last biggest disappointment was the complimentary breakfast. The food was far from satisfying. The food was either too sweet or too bland. I would not recommend the hotel’s restaurant. This hotel received one star because the experience was horrible. Save your money!!
