Mia is a a luxurious resort with comfortable rooms and good amenities, however it is quite isolated - fine if you plan to stay there 100%, but inconvenient if you want to explore Nha Trang city. The buffet breakfast is adequate and of good quality, but lacking compared to its competition. The pools and private beach are excellent. Staff are friendly and helpful, but nowhere near as passionate or engaging as at other nearby competitors.

Although Mia focuses on being eco-friendly, for a premiem priced resort their rooms are in need of some basic improvements like sealing all doors and windows to prevent insects getting inside. Mosquito nets are included around the beds, however that shouldn't be required for a 5-star resort. Sound-proofing of their (most expensive) 1-bedroom Cliff Villas should be prioritised, or at least adding a barrier|wall along the roadside opposite them, given how loud the trucks driving past are all night.

Still a high quality resort and experience but needs a few improvements to stay competitive with other offerings in the area and Nha Trang.

Me and my gf stayed 3 nights and it was the best resort we ever stayed at. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We had the Oceanview single room and it was immaculate. Food was terrific, especially the fresh juices and massive breakfast buffet. The only downside was the lack of entrainment tv options and no ability to stream between your phone and tv.

I strongly recommend this resort if you want to have a 5-star experience.

The Mia Resort has to be one of the most spectacular places I’ve ever stayed. The staff were warm and welcoming, the food was excellent, and the views were simply incredible. Our room was the ultimate lodging experience. We chose one with a private pool — and although February was a bit too cool for swimming, it added an immeasurable sense of ambiance to the stay.

I’m almost reluctant to leave such a glowing review, for fear that too many people will discover this place and the demand will skyrocket.

This is easily the best resort I have stayed in so far - it’s extremely beautiful. We stayed in a Cliff Villa and it was a little slice of heaven. Would highly recommend the resort , the staff are also extremely courteous and helpful.

The Mia Resort is a beautiful property in a quiet and peaceful setting. Our villa was very private and had all of the amenities you could ask for including our own private pool. The food at Kitchen By The Sea was delicious, and the staff were absolutely amazing!

If I could give 10 stars I would. The location, the room, the staff, absolutely everything was perfect. 2 pools, both with outstanding views. Both restaurants offer incredible food. Free shuttle daily into the city was a nice bonus also. Staff really go above and beyond for you at Mia. We felt like family. I will definitely be back.

Have not been to Mia in about 5 or 6 years and we were so impressed with the property upon our return. It is even better than we remembered it. This is a very special place not only for the location but the attention to detail to every aspect of the experience. Great food options, wonderful breakfast and extremely kind and hard working staff. I wish we could name all the staff at breakfast but a special thank you to Mr Nam. Mia is our new favorite go to resort in Vietnam. Top notch and incredible value for money.

We had a lovely stay at the Mia Resort. We booked a pool villa on the beach which was absolutely Devine. Having our own garden and pool with outside seating area and sun loungers was perfect. So quiet with beautiful view of the sea. If felt so private and special. We also enjoyed a private bbq in our garden on the last night of our stay. The food was delicious and service fantastic. I would recommend this. We also enjoyed massages and facial in the spa. Again amazing service. We used the gym once, small but has everything you need with sea view. All the staff were fanatical. Very professional and always smiling. My partner had a tummy bug from a meal we had outside the resort. It wasn’t a big issue but the facilities manager, Chi happened to ask us how we were and when my partner mentioned his tummy bug, Chi arranged for their on site nurse to come right away and give my partner some medication which did the trick.
We would love to return to the Mia Resort in the future. Easter seems like the perfect time. Good temperature and wasn’t too busy. We would love to stay for longer the next time. Thank you Mia Resort for making an amazing holiday for us.

Food was delicious, a great variety & yummy ( even with our fancy taste 😋), spa experience was amazing, staff were very helpful and extremely nice. Mia Resort is the best place for busy people to relax and recharge their battery.
Our villa was nice, spacious, private and cleaned spotlessly.
Definitely will come back and highly recommend MIA Resort.

A fantastic retreat by the ocean. The staff were the best we’ve encountered. My wife is a Coeliac and both restaurants went above and beyond to accomodate her gluten free needs. Lots of plant based options also and great variety of cocktails across the resort.
The spa treatments were excellent and very reasonably priced.

Nice 4* resort but outdated

We have a standard room with a garden view. The room is outdated, we rate it as 3*.
The outdoor of the resort is very nice 5*.
Transportation inside the resort (between room and lobby/restaurant) is provived with electric carts.
The staff (front-desk, room cleaning service, at breakfast restaurant) is very kind, attentive and helpful.
The safety of the buggies needs to be improved. We are grateful to the driver who by prompt reaction has saved us from a serious accident.
We also appreciate the hotel service of free shuttle between the resort and Nhatrang.
In summary this resort is good particularly for people looking for quietness amid a nice landscape.
The beach is small and seems not appropriate for swimming in the sea because of relative big waves.
The pool area would need to be renovated.

Very nice resort with good service but outdated

The resort external area is very nice (5*).
Our garden view is only 3* outdated. A/C is not easy to control, temperature was too cold even if set to 26c or with the cooling off (only ventilation ON with minimum power).
The service (front desk, room cleaning and at breakfast) was very good, staff very helpful.
The food at breakfast was only 2*, not fresh.

The safety of the resort electric buggy car needs to be improved! We were involved in a car accident: car suddendly rolled down the hill when loaded with luggages with us inside the car but no driver. Luckily the car bumped into a stone wall down the hill and stopped.
It’s NOT acceptable that the resort used old electric car with apparently no manual brake or defective brake!!!
The swimming pool area needs to be renovated.
The beach is small and swimming in the sea was not appropriate due to relative big waves (only funny for playing).
This resort is for people looking for quietness only.
We have appreciated the free shuttle service to Nhatrang center.

Stayed in cliff villa which was an amazing retreat from the real world. Private pool overlooking the sea, furnished garden area, outdoor shower, spacious bathroom, and well appointed bedroom.

We also took advantage of spa...compared to US spa prices, this was a real value and should not be missed.

Loved this resort so much! So much so that some of our family decided to spend all day there one of the days, instead of going to the waterfall. While you do have to drive into the city, and the provided shuttle doesn't run very frequently / you have to make a reservation in advance, the privacy and the little beach is lovely. The breakfast buffet was so good. And the golf carts are fun to ride around in. The gym has a nice view but was quite hot, even with windows open. Some solid A/C in there would be great. I'd definitely recommend to anyone looking for some luxury in Nha Trang.

The most luxurious and relaxing hotel ever!

The most amazing hotel!! Right from the start we felt welcomed and in complete paradise. We loved the transport via buggy’s, buffet breakfast overlooking the ocean, Italian dinner and happy our cocktails at the La Bia infinity edge pool and of course our stunning ocean pool villa. The villa was perfectly laid out with the most spectacular views of the sunrise. The food and drink at the resort is expensive at the resort relative to the rest of Vietnam, but we thought it was definitely still worth the money. The only thing that we could comment on is the lack of shuttles, as there are only 3 per day. It is about AUD$25 to get a 30 min taxi into Nha Trang. We much preferred Mia Resort to Nha Trang city, so we only went into town once using the shuttle service. We loved the cocktails at the Mojito bar and we enjoyed the private beach BBQ, which was well worth the money! We will definitely be back!

Beautiful resort on a beautiful beach. We stayed for 9 days and was a little tired of the food selection by the end. The problem is mostly alleviated by going to town via their complementary shuttles and finding some local restaurants if your stomach is bold enough. Staff were very friendly and helpful despite some language barrier. The final bill had some duplicate charges and discrepancies but the staff member promptly fixed the problem. Would definitely recommend the stay if you are in the area or is thinking of visiting Nha Trang.

Highly recommend this cove beach resort property. Beautiful facilities and stellar guest service. Enjoyed the beach-side/pool-side breakfasts and dining at their restaurants. Airport pick-up and drop-off service opted. Very Clean and well kept buildings and landscaping. Free scheduled day/night shuttle to the city (30mins away). Golf carts moves you around the grounds 24/7. We really enjoyed this resort and their 6-star services.

Mia Resort was perfect for our little family. Comfortable, Relaxing, Friendly and Beautiful.

We couldn't have asked for a more perfect vacation spot.

Kid friendly, Adult friendly.

If we could change anything, we would ask that the hours of the 3 restaurants/ bars were more similiar. For example, the lobby bar is beautiful amd the cocktail menu is the best on the property, but they close at 6pm. The others at 10pm. Also, if the food menus were a little more diverse, we would have looked forward to dining around the resort.

Lastly, the staff was absolutely superb. I couldnt believe how friendly everyone was. From concierge, to room service, to the trainees, to the landscapers. Truly amazing people.

We stayed in a cliff side villa and it was so beautiful!! We absolutely loved it so much. It was very nice.

We were celebrating my husband’s birthday and we are vegan and we requested (and of course paid for) an incredible vegan chocolate fudge birthday cake and seriously - it was epic. I want to return here just in hopes of requesting and buying this cake again - it was unbelievably delicious!

My ONLY suggestion is that the villas are sealed better so that absolutely nothing could get in (like a gecko). But it was very clean.

I look forward to staying here again.

They even have a little room service in the everning to get the bed and the room ready for us at night. They gave us a small bag of chocolate for a good night sleep. Excellent customer service. Staff is very attentive and really goes out of their way to make sure your needs and expectations are met. We had an issue with our air conditioner not working and they made sure to fix it as quickly as possible as well as follow up with us afterwards to make sure everything continued to work. The food was a bit pricey and not the greatest at Sandals, but the Italian restaurant was good. Highly recommend this resort and would definitely stay there again.

The resort itself is absolutely beautiful. We only had one of their standard rooms and it was lovely, loads of space and a really comfy bed, large terrace - you really couldn’t complain. Food and beverage were excellent through and for a five star hotel reasonably priced. Staff were super friendly and very helpful. The resort is huge 2.5kms long and so buggies are on hand when needed. This resort would not be for everyone. Certainly not at all wheelchair friendly (anywhere!), it is a bit remote at 25 minutes from Nha Trang and a 350,000 VND (about £12) taxi ride (the shuttle bus times are rubbish in my opinion). There is nothing else nearby. However for rest and relaxation this resort is perfect. Lots of added extras. We lived it despite slightly dodgy weather.

This review pertains to a Garden View King Size room

The entire place has beautiful views of the bay. Nothing much was available at the time of our booking, so we had to choose a \"garden view\" room. Surprisingly, the view over the tops of the trees was ocean-facing. All of the rooms seem to be, although they are built into a hillside and, of the two garden-view layers, there is a definite advantage to being on the top tier.
The room itself was sparkling clean and much more beautiful than in the pictures. The door \"wall\" opens up completely, and you can just lay in bed and enjoy the beautiful view and sounds of the ocean. There are standard room amenities at standard prices.
You have access to the three restaurants, and each has absolutely gorgeous views. I would recommend picking a table you want for sunset and asking to reserve it the day before. We were pleased that the prices, though high for Vietnam, were not \"stranglehold\" resort prices-- more like standard US restaurants. ($6-10 drinks, $15-30 dinners). The food was fantastic!
We booked in rainy season. It did rain most of the time that we were there, but it wasn't bad at all. There are a lot of beautiful views with roof-cover.
We did not do any activities, so I can't attest to the quality. We did get some massages, and that was a great experience.

All in all, great stay. Book it!

This resort was absolutely fantastic: the service was excellent and the staff were really friendly. The resort was almost faultless, with beautiful views and rooms. The food was lovely, and although there was a lack of veggie options in the restaurant, the chef was very accommodating and made me a special tofu pho that was delicious. The villas were well positioned on the cliff edge with infinity pools and breath taking views as well as modern decor - wow!

Location, between airport and the city center so pretty convenient. The condo is ok spacious, bed comfortable, but unfortunately the air conditioning was weak, they did send a handyman to come check/fix it and it was slightly better but still not cool enough. Water pressure of shower a little weak. Food half good half soso. Had a 3 hour spa package which was very relaxing. Overall not a bad stay but some room for improvement.

The resort reminds me of world-class resorts in Cancun. Very well kept and clean. The services are incredibly personal and honest. It's targeted at people who want to have a tranquil place to wind down, although Nha Trang is only about 20 minutes away. The beach is very Instagram ready, although the waves and the undertow were strong when I was there (December).

Staffs at the reception and bar are unfriendly, don't smile and not helpful at all. It's a shame, the place is nice but it's the staffs that bring it down. We stayed at the garden villa and not one staff is around except the gardeners. Cleaners came to the room but didn't change our towels. We called for buggy to go up to the gym, waited for 20min but it never came. We decided to just go up on foot when we saw a buggy dropped off someone so we asked if we can hop on. The breakfast buffet is excellent and the healthy juices are great but the dinner buffet for 700,000. per person isn't worth it. Overall, our 2day stay is ok as me and my Husband just did our own thing without any help from staffs....the consolation though is they dropped us off at our hotel ...at first the manager said no but after I compared them from one resort that dropped us there for free, the manager relented....

The property is beautiful and sits on a cliff with all facilities enjoying its zen placement. Very relaxing and only a shuttle ride away to the busy nightlife or amazing restaurants in Nha Trang.

Tranquil Resort

Our stay is excellent, the hotel is located in a very quiet area overlooking the sea, the staff are very considerate and pleasant, most of them speak English so communication is not a problem. The food is good and price could be a little bit more expensive the other places but mostly well worth the price. We booked a Cliff Villa and there are plenty of outdoor space for relaxing. We just hope the plants next to our pool could be shorter for the infinity pool to work, right now they are blocking the view.

We stayed for 3 nights before moving to Nha Trang city for another 3 nights, but we missed the tranquility of Mia Resort a lot as the city could be a bit noisy if you just want to relax. Should have stayed in Mia throughout our trip.

Lovely hotel, be careful on room choice.

We had a lovely 9 night stay at Mia Resort and really enjoyed our time there. The resort was beautiful, the staff were attentive and the restaurants served a very good and reasonably priced menu.

Nha Trang is around 30 minutes away and easily reached using the hotel shuttle bus or a taxi. We weren't that impressed with Nha Trang itself but it was worth a visit.

From the time you check in until you have to leave you are treated so well at the mia .. friendly staff great food ... great bar area overlooking the beach cliff top .. room clean and amazing ... pools beautiful and such a beautiful private beach ... cannot fault the resort .. 20 min roughly to town with free shuttle bus ... don't be put off by this as town is crazy and the mia is a sanctuary .. would come back here without hesitation

Room was okay, but the service wasn’t really what you would expect at such a high ranking hotel.

We arrived around 6:30PM and went to the restaurant for dinner. I ordered a gin and tonic but they said they couldn’t make it because they didn’t have tonic water. ordered a mojito instead. They said they didn’t have ___ (could not make sense of what she said to me) so I ordered a long island iced tea. They were out of vodka( or something else)
ended up ordering a smoothie. I just wanted a drink.

There were a lot of occasions outside of that restaurant where we had to think to ourselves “are we really at a five star hotel?”

Great, Relaxing Hotel

We were looking for a hotel that would allow us to relax in a nice environment and the Mia resort met all of our expectations. The gardens, beach and pool areas were beautiful and well kept.

There were 2 places to eat which resulted in us going into town in the evening to get a bit of a variety

The resort is big and depending on where you room is you may need to call for a buggie to take you the restaurants or beach. This was not a problem as the service was quick an efficient.

BEST HOTEL IN NHA TRANG

We have just returned from a week's holiday at the Mia Resort, Nha Trang and can not believe the value for money from this resort. We have stayed in luxury hotels costing far more than the Mia Resort and can quite categorically state that we rate this hotel to be the best we have ever stayed in.

We stayed in a beach villa with private pool - huge bed, beautiful bathroom with outside shower and all mod cons at your fingertips. The gardens and grounds were perfectly manicured and well maintained.

The food at the resort was exceptional, particularly the breakfasts and the setting overlooking the beach could not have been bettered.

A big bonus for us was that the General Manager of the Resort was visible every day and made sure that her guests were well looked after - I have never seen this before - usually the General Manager is behind a desk and does not mix with guests on a daily basis.

All the staff at the resort went above and beyond to look after the guests and we never saw a staff member without a smile.

We cannot rate this hotel highly enough and it falls into the category of a return visit in the future.

Mia Resort is Magical

My husband and I can't rave enough about Mia Resort. When I came across the resort while searching for lodging in Nha Trang, particularly for a milestone birthday, I just knew I wanted to stay here. Mia Resort met and exceeded our expectations. The cliffside location, 20 minutes outside of central Nha Trang (which we also stayed in for our 1st 2 nights in the area) is just a stunning location. Tucked amidst the cliffs, you're offered the most amazing blissful views, no matter where you are at the resort. We got the opportunity to stay in both a Cliff Villa as well as Garden Villa and I would recommend both. We loved everything from the beautifully curated indoor + outdoor spaces, to the views, to the amazing staff and service, to the lovely included buffet breakfasts. We had the opportunity to have drinks at the bar (OK options, again stunning views), to a seafood/bbq dinner at the Asian themed restaurant (delicious), to apps and drinks at the Italian restaurant. All were really really good. We had spent the previous 2 days in central Nha Trang and didn't feel the need to use the shuttle or go offsite to eat. I would go back to Nha Trang just to stay here, as it was pure bliss.

Perfect resort to escape the craziness..

We visited Vietnam, starting in HCMC and were amazed at how busy and crazy it was. Crossing the road was an experience in itself! So after a week in HCMC, Mia Resort was the perfect place to unwind and breath in some fresh air.
We booked a Garden View condo, which still had quite nice views of the beach however an upgrade to the uninteruppted views of the Ocean View rooms was not available due to high occupancy. We were compensated with a few vouchers for drinks, discounted spa, etc. However, the hotel went above and beyond to make us feel like VIPs and offered us a room change halfway through our stay to a better view and also free spa session. Thanks Harvey for this complimentary upgrade! It really made our stay an even better experience than it already was!
Although the resort is set out on a large ocean front property, a golf cart is only a few mins away to take you wherever you wish to go. There is also numerous choices for food, drinks and swimming activities so you never feel like each day is the same.
We would definetly return to Mia Resort, hopefully with friends and family and stay in one of the Residences - 5 bedooms of pure luxury!

BLUF: The only reason for the 4 score is that there were bugs in a loofah supplied by the resort. Everything else was spectacular. The villa was amazing and comfortable. The option to open all of the sliding doors/windows facing the beach and our semi-private pool and yard was awesome. The hotel staff was amazingingly friendly, courteous and professional. The resort restaurants are top notch and catered to our dietary requests. Massage at the spa was awesome. Our check out time was quite a bit earlier than our flight. The staff invited us to hang out by the pool and allowed us to shower at the spa before leaving. Customer service at it's finest. Hi to Cindy and Lam if you go.

Big cockroach in the room, heavy cigarette smoke

We had many problems with this resort. First, door lock was broken and we gotta wait for almost 30 minutes for them to fix it. Second, towels in the room were smelly. Third, smokers everywhere in public area and next to our room, so we couldn’t breath even in front of our room. Last, there was a big cockroach in the bathtub when we came back from dinner. Our wedding anniversary plan was ruined when we stayed at Mia.

The resort staffs were nice and friendly at first but then showed no integrity and horrible customer service when problems arised. They were nice to give us free 30 minutes spa coupons and champagne for our date at the beginning. When we reported the cockroach incident, they first offered only room cleaning service and when we were not satisfied, they offered a free room upgrade. However, we were concerned about the overall hygiene of the whole property and bad health consequences with cigarette smoke ( you can smell it everywhere even in front of your room). More importantly, our mood was heavily ruined, and therefore, we decided to check-out after spending 4 hours at this resort (2 hours were spent at the restaurant) and requested full refund for 2 nights that we had already paid. The manager offered us refund for 1 night and would consult an upper management to issue full refund. She promised to call and let us know the next day but never did.
We reported this to Expedia and received an email the following day saying the hotel refused to issue Any refund.

Absolutely loved our stay. Best hotel we have ever stayed at, not just to the beautiful design and rooms, but the service, facilities, food, views, friendly staff and excellent customer service add to it all. They thought of everything and there were so many small things that added to the stay. It is a little pricey but everything that is included makes it worth while including, free massage, welcome bottle of sparkling wine, chocolates at turn down, Michelin standard food and breakfast
