The rooms are good. Unfortunately there is no longer a restaurant on the property. Reception has limited hours and is often hard to find when checking in and checking out. Property is locked with instructions to call a Thailand telephone number. Unless property establishes reception with regular hours I would not recommend staying here.

Very friendly staff, clean and spacious rooms. Wifi is great. They have routers on every floor. Literally just outside the nightlife area. Can walk 10 minutes to walking street or take the pick up buses for 10 baht. Overall for the price, dont think you can get better in the area. Its Food is great too. If i come back to pattaya id stay here again!

I stayed 10 years ago and loved it. They have since done away with the buffet which I really enjoyed. I almost got trapped in the elevator; not sure when it was last serviced. But I would recommend this place for anyone that doesn't want all the hustle and bustle of central Pattaya.

Nice mid range hotel

The rooms are very large with stove and large refrigerator. Two large bottles of water are provided daily free of charge. There is an in room safe and free wi Fi. The hotel restaurant is small but serves good meals. The hotel is really a good value for the money.

1. Great set up.
2. Close to walking street but not to close since it was more quiet and relaxed.
3. There was a taxi stand right in front of hotel and two Family Marts very convenient.
4. ATM across the street.
5. $9 (THB 300) massage across the street.
6. Hotel was always clean.
7. Laundry took 1.5 days to get back. So not really fast.
8. Water pressure was bad so that is my only issue.
9. They had a nice safe in the room.
10. Provided stove, fridge and tv and free wifi.
11. Staff wasn't very social however they were nice.
12. Food choices were outstanding and the venue was very relaxed.
13. I loved the pool setup and reading by the pool was perfect.
14. If I didn't stay here again it's only cause of the water pressure besides that I loved it!!!
15. Oh and the balcony was very comforting with its patio table and chair.
16. They offered a taxi from to the airport which cost ($45-50) (THB 1,500). Was on time and easy.

Four stars from me!

Cleanliness is powerful

I checked in late around 11pm because of my flight. The receptionist is professional the whole time. I felt welcomed the whole time. The astounding part of my experience at the Residence Garden is it's cleanliness. This hotel is so clean inside and out. You will not be disappointed. Your only a ten minute walk from walking street. You can opt to ride on a motor scooter if your in a hurry. From walking street your only minutes away from Central mall. It's a new mall that is very nice. Take my word, you will enjoy your stay at the Residence Garden. Even the pools look refreshing. You get more value for your money. Stay

You must have strong reasons to choose this one!

Well, I was on 2 days holiday with family and infant. We chose RG since it was an apartment with kitchen, and being with infant we could use the kitchen.

However I do not feel so it was right decision, simply because:
1. It is far from beach area, market and restaurants. You need a bike or tuk-tuk to reach.
2. I was on holiday for relax.. And definitely it is not one place for indulge and refresh yourself.
3. Pattaya is an extreme city, either you do not chose to go there or you be around the extreme areas. This one is away.

Choose a beach facing resort in pattaya south, may be towards north to walking street. Many good options there.

Nice place to stay

The residence garden is well maintained . Buffet dinner is really faboulous .There is also a family mart across the street from where you can pick up any items or even food . The breakfast is reasonable and average priced but if you are on a tight budget you can also have food from the restaurant across the street . The location of hotel is 2 km from the Famous Walking Street - you can either walk it or take a local baht taxi . The room we stayed in was a one bedroom suite , wifi connection was perfect and room was cleaned daily . At the reception staff was really helpful and always had a cheerful smile.

More than just a 'Budget' hotel

Booked with a little trepidation, given mixed reviews I'd read. Decided to give it benefit of doubt anyway. Glad I did too. Small & friendly hotel that delivers on its promise! Contrary to some reports, staff were friendly & helpful. Unlike some people, I didn't find communication to be problematic! Room very clean & hotel generally higher standard than its tariff suggests. I found food very good & the weekend 'all you can eat' buffet dinner was great value considering it extends to beef steaks, pork ribs, monster prawns, etc. The poolside location of the restaurant was nice too. Big bed, slightly firm for my taste, but certainly didn't prevent me sleeping after good night out! Only gripe was lack of water pressure on shower, water was hot enough, just a little limp for my taste! Location was good with a 7/11 directly across the road to buy everything that's in your minibar for a lot less! Although 'Walking Street' bars were walkable, the City Bus (open backed tuk tuk style) opposite hotel runs frequently & costs just 10bht per person, so not worth risking heat. Get it back & you'll pay same and save on 200bht taxi!!! Tip: Walk out Beach Rd end of Walking St, turn immediate right, then right at traffic lights ahead, the City Bus tuk tuk's will be on other side of street facing way home. On balance, most things were either very good or more than adequate, so I'm willing to forgive them one failing, especially at the price. I'd have no hesitation in going back.

\"Decent Location\"

I visited this place around mid August'13, the hotel was nice and so were the staff. We took a suite as we were four friends travelling. The rooms were very clean and well maintained. Also both the pools outside were supremely clean which did help after the salty water of pattaya! The only drawback was that its slightly away from the Pattaya City Centre although a walking distance from the fab walking street! Overall it was nice

The two bedroom family suite was very large.

Room was exactly what we wanted. Situated between Jomtien and Pattaya the location was ideal as long as you don't mind a \"taxi truck\" ride either way, only ten baht. Never tried the food, the entertainment or either of the pools although the pools were empty most of the time. The security guard was most helpful and pleasant. The lift was a bit dodgy and the cleaning although ok could of been better. On the whole very good value.

Great hotel for the price

Room was large. Decor a bit dated but acceptable. The pool area was very nice, albeit a bit close to the noisy road. Dinner buffet was very good value. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I would have no problem staying at this hotel again. Great value for money.

Gem in Pattaya!!

My family and I stayed here for four nights and could not imagine a better time at any other place at this price. We ended up staying another two nights when the hotel dropped the price by $20 for us. We could not believe it. We were a 5 minute walk from Walking Street and 10 minute Baht bus ride from the main strip and beach. Location perfect for those who want peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of the beach but not far enough that is will cost you to get there. We were located in the perfect spot to catch the bus all the way to Jomtien beach and a short walk to the Big Buddha and the great views. I orginally gave this hotel all five stars but I know people will think that this review is fake so I left it at four stars but this is a great hotel with an awesome staff and rooms that are priced well below the others.

perfect for everything

stayed feb 9th for 3 weeks. weather fab location fab 5mins into pattaya 5 mins to jomtien. residendent garden very private and secure. 2 nice pool areas, 1 in frount of hotel 1 out back of hotel. staff ok. security guards very nice. all in all hotel and grounds and rooms great. will stay again. excellent value for money

３人で２日宿泊しました。
部屋が2部屋ありリビング、キッチンも付いていて広く快適でした。英語が喋れなくて少し揉めましたがなんとか翻訳アプリで回避できました。
朝ごはんは付いてませんが、値段が安い割に部屋が広く清潔なので、満足です。

Hyvä ja rauhallinen hotelli Pattayalla. Turistialueen hälinä ei ulotu tänne asti, mutta esim. Walking Street on kävely tai lava-automatkan päässä. Hotelli siisti kaikin puolin, huoneessa (huoneistossa) kaikki tarvittava. Uima-altaat hyvin hoidettuja ja puhtaita. Ravintolan ruoka hyvää. Henkilökunta Thai-tyyliin ystävällistä. WiFi ei ollut aivan tehokkaimmillaan

Slitt hotell - dårlig service

Jeg har bodd her flere ganger pga pris, men denne gangen ble det nok!
Første helgen sluttet aircondition å virke på mitt rom. Siden det var en lørdag, fikk jeg vite at dette kunne de ikke fikse før mandag. I høysesongen er det opp mot 40 grader, så det var ingen god løsning.
Ikke engang tilbud om å bytte rom.
Etter at det ble fikset mandag, sluttet det å virke igjen etter 5 dager.

Internet (WiFi) var EKSTREMT tregt. Flere dager var det helt umulig å koble seg til i det hele tatt.
Hastigheten målt med \"App\" var på inder ISDN-linje nivå.
Tross av flere klare, ble dette ikke bedre. Eneste tiden det gikk ann å surfe på nett var midt på natten/svært tidlig om morgenen.

Pluss for:
+ Rommet er stort og fint,- men møblene er udaterte.
+ Sengene er gode og soverommet er stort.
+ Ligger greit til om man vil ta \"bath-taxi\" som går rett utenfor døren.

Minus for:
- Ekstremt mye trafikkstøy (målt til 88 db) på bassenget. Dette da det er hovedvei helt inntil hotellet, og det er en bakke, så hver gang en buss eller lastebil passerer er det umulig å føre en samtale ved bassenget.
- Dårlig service (ref feil å AC mm)
- Ustabil AirCond.
- Elendig WiFi (ubrukelig)
- Dyrt i restauranten (eks. 75 Thb for en boks brus (koster 30 thb i en bar ov 12 thb på 7-11)).

Jeg må virkelig si at dette var en skikkelig nedtur (har vært i Thailand over 60 ganger), og kan kun på det varmeste anbefale ett annet sted !!

2 tv 's (woonkamer, slaapkamer) ruim terras.
